<![CDATA[The inadequacy of knowledge, skills and purchasing power particularly farmers in the sub-district of Pasirwangi Garut has turned them into the cycle of poverty. It has been abundant of community empowerment program aimed to help the poor to pop off the conflicts and cost a lot already, but many programs are not suitable with the community needs, it is not fit with the purpose and outlying targets. This happens because the empowerment program is parsia, it does not build a system and usually given through temporarily donations, thus it caused the farmers depended on other parties but still powerless. Empowering communities via partnership of ‘A-B-G’ is one of the alternatives and considered better because it has more comprehensive systemic suppoted by every stakeholders participation in order the alleviation of poverty that might be directly perceived its benefits for the community because it fits their needs. The program is also sustainable, especially in encouraging the on-going social transformation from poor to empowered, independent, and eventually becoming a civil society.]]>

<![CDATA[Publications in international journals and national journals require articles to be written scientifically and use a good reference manager. In this case, there are still many lecturers who have difficulty in writing citations and bibliography. They still undergo manual operating system in changing citations and different styles of bibliographies. This workshop is based on the difficulty of lecturers in publishing their scientific articles in reputable international journals and accredited national journals, especially in writing bibliographies and citations. The workshop was conducted in the form of Mendeley software training on the lecturers' scientific articles. Mendeley software gives a lot of benefit in improving the quality of scientific article writing that is easy for lecturers in writing citations and bibliography. The workshop was held in Abulyatama University involving lecturers from Abulyatama University and other universities such as Serambi Mekkah University and Ar-Raniry State Islamic University. The total number of lecturers who participate in the workshop is 30 lecturers. The ways of workshop delivery are in the form of lectures, practices and frequently asked questions. Surveys were conducted by distributing questionnaires before and after the workshop activities. The results of the workshop show that the lecturers have been able to apply Mendeley in writing citations and bibliography. This workshop gave positive results in improving the lecturers’ ability to write scientific articles. Among the participants' difficulties were in term of Mendeley installation process (6.67 %), the use of it in mobile applications (20 %), and coaching other colleagues (10 %). Approximately 10 % of lecturers feel that they still need additional training for the smoothness use of this application. All lecturers feel that Mendeley is very helpful and will use this application in their publications.]]>

<![CDATA[Community empowerment is a development process where community initiate to start the process of social activities to improve the situation and condition their self. Community empowerment can happen only if citizens participate. Based on that, the training was held community empowerment through training in the manufacture of “kerupuk gendar” Sekelimus Utara Bandung. This training is expected to bring a positive influence for the citizens of Sekelimus Utara Bandung, especially for mothers. The training process was conducted on the learning theory and practice. Selection of “kerupuk gendar” as the main object of this training as “kerupuk gendar” is one of the traditional food preparation easy and not costly. Traditional foods are foods and beverages commonly consumed by a particular community, with a distinctive flavor that is accepted by the community. As we know that food is not only serves to satisfying their hunger alone but the food has a social function, culture, politics, and economics. Various types of food produced a nation can be used as one measure of the high culture of the people concerned. The food not only as a means to satisfy hunger, maintain relationships, but can also be sold, promoted resulting in a slight advantage. After this training is expected that residents can obtain various benefits include improving knowledge and skills, increase opportunities for entrepreneurship, increase revenue, improve public participation and to partner.]]>

<![CDATA[Average production of pepper obtained from the of farmers in Air Naningan regency is between 350-450 kg/ha/year, which still very low, so that they must be helped to overcome the problems. The purpose of this activity was to conduct the pepper seedlings have mycorrhiza technologies. The methods that used include a survey to identify the feasibility and desire targeted farmers, extension with a lecture and sharing, training, and demonstration plots. The output from extension program was increasing knowledge, understanding, and skills farmer members in applying the pepper seedlings have mycorrhiza technologies so that cultivation can become a sustainable pepper production and became a mainstay of alternative sources of income of targeted farmers. In addition, these activities can increase Politeknik Negeri Lampung role in efforts to disseminate applied technology in an effort to improve social welfare in Lampung. <![CDATA[Pepper is an important commodity and has high economic value. This commodity has begun to be cultivated by members of the PKK RT 07 and PKK RT 09, Tambak Sogra Village, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency, in an effort to increase the use of the yard and increase family income. However, the knowledge and skills of PKK members regarding cultivation and diseases of pepper plants as well as effective and environmentally friendly management efforts are very low. The activity aimed was to improve knowledge and skills of members of the PKK group in the cultivation and management of pepper disease that are effective and environmentally friendly. Activities carried out with dissemination, training, and technology demonstration plots. The activities were able to increase the knowledge and skills of members of the PKK group in pepper cultivation and the management of the disease which is environmentally friendly. In addition, the application of Trichoderma sp. and Pseudomonas fluorescens in the demonstration plot can increase the growth of pepper.]]>

<![CDATA[Peningkatan Usia Harapan Hidup (UHH) di Indonesia merupakan cerminan dari peningkatan derajat kesehatan masyarakat akan tetapi jika tidak dikelola dengan baik akan menimbulkan permasalahan social bagi orang dengan lanjut usia (lansia) akibat rendahnya produktifitas mereka. Salah satu cara peningkatan produktifitas lansia adalah dengan kegiatan pemberdayaan yang melibatkan keluarga lansia. Bentuk pemberdayaan yang mudah dilakukaan adalah dengan memanfaatkan potensi alam disekitar tempat tinggal lansia yaitu dalam bentuk tanaman obat keluarga (TOGA) dan pengolahan wedang uwuh yang bahan bakunya dapat diperoleh dari TOGA serta berpeluang untuk meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga lansia. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini adalah aktif partisipatif keluarga lansia dari tiga dusun di Desa Sendangsari didampingi oleh 27 mahasiswa KKNPPM Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan peralatan rumah tangga secara swadaya. Hasil yang didapat dari kegiatan ini adalah terbentuknya taman TOGA di Dusun Parakan Wetan, Parakan Kulon dan Plembon Desa Sendangsari serta keberhasilan peserta dalam mengolah bahan baku wedang uwuh menjadi wedang uwuh berbentuk sirup dan bubuk instan. Pengembangan taman TOGA dan olahan wedang uwuh merupakaan wujud dari himbauan Kementerian Kesehatan terkait pemanfaatan sumber daya alam Indonesia secara berkelanjutan untuk digunakan sebagai obat tradisional demi peningkatan pelayanan kesehatan dan ekonomi. ]]>

<![CDATA[Mitra dalam PKM merupakan dua kelompok usaha mikro pengrajin anyaman lidi di Desa Kawasen Kecamatan Banjarsari Kabupaten Ciamis yaitu Wiradhana Raharja berlokasi di Dusun Panimban dan Batukurung Sejahtera. Masalah yang dihadapi mitra saat ini adalah keberlangsungan pengembangan usaha mikro ini kurangnya pengetahuan manajemen usaha. Desain yang dikuasai oleh mitra masih sedikit hanya empat desain yang dikerjakan sangat rentan terhadap persaingan, disisi lain media pemasaran masih menggunakan komunikasi personal serta kurangnya kerjasama dan dukungan dari lingkungan diluar kelompok anyaman lidi. Solusi yang ditawarkan dalam pengembangan mitra usaha anyaman lidi dalam kegiatan pendampingan adalah; meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai produksi; meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan manajemen usaha; dan meningkatkan pengetahuan desain dan teknologi pemasaran online. Berdasarkan hasil pelatihan dan pendampingan telah meningkatkan pengetahuan mitra sehingga dapat mengelola usahanya dengan baik melalui menejemen usaha, mulai dari manajemen produksi, manajemen pembukuan, dan manajemen pemasaran. Melalui pelatihan desain, mitra dapat mengelola website secara bersama menambah dan mengisi konten baru dibawah koordinasi desa sehingga meningkatkan peran desa sebagai regulasi dalam kewirausahaan produk unggulan desa. Kegiatan ini memberikan kotribusi bagi peningkatan pengetahuan mitra, peningkatan koordinasi antar pelaku usaha, peningkatan sociopreneurship dan difusi teknologi.]]>

<![CDATA[Kecamatan Coblong merupakan salah satu kecamatan yang memiliki potensi ekonomi untuk dapat dikembangkan. Kondisi tersebut terlihat dari hasil survai dan pemetaan terdapat 36 pelaku usaha ekonomi menengah yang bergerak dibidang kerajinan, makanan dan fashion. Akan tetapi dalam proses produksi mengalami kendala, terutama bagi para pengusaha makanan ringan yang menggunakan minyak goreng dalam proses pembuatannya. Banyaknya minyak dalam kemasan produk membuat produk menjadi cepat apek, tidak tahan lama dan kurang menarik. Tujuan yang ini dicapai dari kegiatan ini adalah introduksi teknologi tepat guna berupa pemanfaatan mesin spinner yang digunakan untuk mengurangi minyak dalam sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas produk. Proses produksi lebih efisien dan efektif yang berdampak pada peningkatan produktifitas kerja dan kualitas produk. Metode yang digunakan adalah diawali dengan survey kemudian melakukan pelatihan teori dan praktek meliputi kewirausahaan, manajemen keuangan, kesehatan dan keselamatan produksi, perancangan kerja, desain produk, dan pemanfaatan mesin spinner. dan terakhir pendampingan dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa terjadi pengurangan jumlah minyak dalam kemasan dan penghematan waktu penirisan sampai dengan 30 menit dibandingkan dengan penirisan secara konvensional.]]>

<![CDATA[Small Business Scarves as a community service partner are in the binongjati area, Binongjati Village, Batununggal District, Bandung city, which started its business in 2011. Partner scarf small businesses have a role in creating jobs, reducing unemployment and improving the welfare of the community in the local environment. The main problem with partners is that they have not developed a business according to expectations of the two partners. This community service activity began in April 2018 - September 2018. Priority issues faced by the Partners included the following issues: 1) Problems with the limited capacity of circular and knitting machines for the production process. 2) the problem of the limited capacity of the Organization and Management knowledge and skills 3) The problem of the limited capacity of knowledge and skills in preparing a business plan. and 4) limited capacity of knowledge and skills to take advantage of existing market opportunities, access, media promotion and business partnerships. This condition causes the target partner's business to become undeveloped. The implementation method in this service uses a training approach, technical guidance and business assistance and business facilitation. The results of this activity can be seen from the implementation after the approach method is implemented. Both partners have the capacity to circle and knit machines, understand the organization and management and have an organizational structure so that they know the clear division of tasks and authorities, know and understand the process of preparing a business plan and have a business plan to be submitted to stakeholders and partners have new market access and media promotion.]]>

<![CDATA[Community service program (Program Kemitraan Masyarakat or PKM) was done from July-September 2018 at Muara Ancalong, Kutai Timur Kalimantan. The aim of the program was to transfer Science and technology and assist the member of fisheries association to do fish smoking at Sungai Suwi, Muara Ancalong, Kutai Timur. By doing this program, the member of fisherman association will be having a soft skill and an experience in fish smoking. Further, this program can empower the member of Sungai suwi fisherman association to be an entrepreneurship, providing fish smoking product which has higher value than unsmoking fish. This program has been divided into two parts, Theory and practice with ratio 1:2. In theory, all team member of PKM has delivered a presentation regarding fish smoking technique. In the practice, the members of fisherman association directly built fish smoker and applied fish smoking . The outcome of the program was soft skill transfer technology, a module on how to smoke fish. In the future, this program can be implemented to gain the economic value for the members of fisherman association]]>
