Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengatasi permasalahan pengelolaan persediaan di Putri Hijab Fashion yang masih dilakukan secara manual dan rentan menimbulkan kelebihan atau kekurangan stok. Metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) dikombinasikan dengan konsep Supply Chain Management (SCM) diterapkan untuk mengoptimalkan jumlah pemesanan dan efisiensi operasional. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis penjualan selama 15 bulan. Hasil perhitungan EOQ menunjukkan pengurangan frekuensi pemesanan dari rata-rata 6 kali/tahun menjadi 2 kali/tahun pada produk utama, serta penurunan biaya penyimpanan dan pemesanan hingga 26,7%. Sistem berbasis web yang dibangun juga meningkatkan akurasi pencatatan dan kecepatan proses hingga 40%. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis berupa model terapan SCM dan EOQ berbasis sistem informasi yang dapat diadaptasi oleh UMKM, khususnya di sektor fashion muslimah, dalam mengelola stok secara efisien dan terintegrasi.

Abstract

Friction Stir Welding (FSW) is a solid-state joining method suitable for thermoplastics like HDPE, which has lighter and more flexible properties. This study aims to examine the tensile and bending strength of HDPE joints influenced by parameters such as TRS 930 rpm, a feed rate of 20mm/min, and variations in the Lateral Tilt Angle (LTA) of 0°, 0.5°, 1°, and 1.5°, where the tool's position is sideways relative to the tool's movement direction as the main variable. Resulting in maximum tensile strength (UTS) values of 3.15 MPa, 16.0 MPa, 16.9 MPa, and 8.59 MPa. LTA 1° produced the highest UTS, while LTA 0° produced the lowest UTS because the heat input was not sufficient to perfectly bond the welding material. The bending strength values produced were 4.25 MPa, 14.3 MPa, 4.17 MPa, and 28.8 MPa. The highest stress is found at a 1.5° variation and the lowest at a 1° variation, due to uneven heat distribution during the FSW process. Therefore, choosing the right TLA during the FSW process is key to achieving HDPE joints with good mechanical strength

Abstract

Automatic clothesline system is one of the solutions to the problem of clotheslines that are not due to sudden changes in weather, by using the esp8266 microcontroller it can be done to facilitate the community. This automatic clothesline system consists of esp8266 as a microcontroller, then a raindrop sensor as a rain detector and an ldr sensor as a sunlight detector. All components are assembled into a system to open and close the roof automatically, and users will also get notifications via telegram if the roof is open or closed. The results of this research show that the sensors work as expected, namely the roof can open and close automatically in rainy and dark conditions.

Abstract

This research aims to design an Internet of Things (IoT)-based plastic waste recycling machine using the Fuzzy Tsukamoto method to overcome the problem of overheating in electric motors and improve waste management efficiency. The methods used include literature studies, designing a microcontroller-based system (ESP32), temperature sensors, inductive proximity sensors, and implementing the Fuzzy Tsukamoto algorithm for automatic temperature control. The results show that the machine is capable of shredding plastic with a capacity of 20 kg/hour and controlling the motor temperature in real-time through the MIT Inventor application. Tests prove that the motor temperature rises faster during shredding (30°C–55°C in 35 minutes) compared to no-load (90 minutes). The system also successfully detects metal and stops operation automatically to prevent damage. The conclusion of the study states that the integration of IoT and Fuzzy Tsukamoto is effective in optimizing machine performance, reducing the risk of overheating, and facilitating remote monitoring. Suggestions for further development include improving the cooling system and sensor calibration for long-term stability.

Abstract

Modern aircraft have experienced rapid development at this time, which is proven by the discovery of more complex systems on aircraft. One of the systems that has experienced rapid development is the autopilot, which can control the aircraft automatically. The design of the pitch attitude system begins by collecting data on the longitudinal motion of the aircraft, which is then converted into a mathematical equation of the transfer function for the pitch motion. After the pitch attitude instability is identified, a compensator is made to improve the stability of the pitch motion, with the compensator used in this study being the lead compensator. The main objective of this study is to create a system that can identify parameter values on the Luenberger Observer control and sliding mode control (SMC) in the flight control system. The results of several test experiments clearly show that the proposed SMC controller can produce better and more stable system performance.

Abstract

Pertanian presisi membutuhkan teknologi canggih untuk meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan sumber daya dan hasil panen. Salah satu elemen penting dalam pertanian presisi adalah sistem irigasi yang optimal. Penelitian ini mengusulkan pengembangan dan pembuatan prototipe sistem monitoring dan kontrol irigasi berbasis LoRa dan IoT yang dirancang untuk mendukung pertanian presisi. Teknologi LoRa (Long-Range) digunakan dalam sistem ini sebagai sarana komunikasi nirkabel antara sensor dan pusat kontrol, memberikan jangkauan komunikasi yang luas dengan konsumsi daya yang rendah. Sistem ini juga memanfaatkan NodeMCU ESP8266 sebagai platform IoT untuk menghubungkan data dari sensor ke platform cloud, memungkinkan pemantauan dan pengendalian sistem secara real-time dari jarak jauh melalui internet. Prototipe yang dibangun terdiri dari sensor suhu DS18B20, sensor kelembapan tanah, dan sensor DHT11 (yang mengukur suhu dan kelembapan udara). Data yang dikumpulkan oleh sensor-sensor ini dikirimkan melalui jaringan LoRa dan diteruskan ke platform cloud menggunakan NodeMCU ESP8266 sebagai perangkat IoT. Melalui konektivitas ini, sistem dapat dipantau dari jarak jauh menggunakan aplikasi berbasis web atau smartphone. Sistem secara otomatis mengatur irigasi dengan presisi, memastikan tanaman mendapatkan air sesuai kebutuhan tanpa pemborosan sumber daya. Dengan demikian, sistem ini tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi irigasi, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada keberlanjutan pertanian.

Abstract

Palm oil is a leading agricultural commodity in Indonesia, producing CPO and PKO from the processing of fresh fruit bunches. As palm oil production increases, the volume of solid waste also increases. Solid waste from this industry, such as empty fruit bunches, shells, and fibers, contains high levels of organic matter that can pollute the environment if not managed properly. Briquettes are an alternative energy source that can be produced from this waste. This research aims to utilize palm oil shell waste into high-quality briquettes by developing an efficient charcoal briquette-making machine. The focus of the research is on developing a semi-automatic machine using a pneumatic system and a three-phase motor. Theoretical screw speed was approximately 44 rpm, while direct measurement on the machine showed 43 rpm. Furthermore, the theoretical results obtained a motor power requirement of 667.3 Watts.

Abstract

The economic well-being of farmers in Indonesia's rice supply chain is influenced by multiple structural and systemic challenges. This study conducts a systematic literature review (SLR) by analyzing 56 articles from 10 different countries published in the last six years to identify key factors impacting farmers' financial resilience and sustainability. Findings highlight significant price volatility, limited market access, high production costs, and dependency on intermediaries, which collectively hinder economic stability. Additional challenges include inadequate government support, technological gaps, climate-related risks, and inefficiencies in supply chain management. Addressing these issues requires integrated policy interventions, improved infrastructure, and cooperative strategies to enhance farmers' livelihoods and promote a more equitable rice supply chain.

Abstract

Bandara Internasional Yogyakarta (Yogyakarta International Airport/YIA) di Kulon Progo, yang beroperasi penuh sejak 2019, merupakan salah satu bandara modern di Indonesia. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis utilitas tenaga kerja di terminal keberangkatan, khususnya pada layanan check-in, security check point, dan gate area. Permasalahan utama yang diidentifikasi adalah rendahnya tingkat pemanfaatan sumber daya manusia pada beberapa titik layanan, yang berpotensi menimbulkan inefisiensi operasional.Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan simulasi dengan perangkat lunak AnyLogic PLE, yang dimodelkan berdasarkan jumlah penumpang keberangkatan. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan tingkat utilitas yang bervariasi: Check-in Area—Operator 1 sebesar 82% (4 operator), Operator 2 sebesar 89% (6 operator), Operator 3 sebesar 79% (4 operator); Security Check Point—SCP 1 sebesar 20% (2 operator), SCP 2 sebesar 8% (4 operator); Gate Area—Gate 1 sebesar 2,9% (2 operator), Gate 2 sebesar 3,4% (4 operator), dan Gate 3 sebesar 3,1% (2 operator).Hasil ini mengindikasikan adanya ketidakseimbangan antara kapasitas tenaga kerja dengan volume penumpang pada beberapa titik layanan. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya penataan ulang penjadwalan dan distribusi tenaga kerja berbasis data simulasi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan mempertahankan kualitas pelayanan penumpang

Abstract

The halal industry significantly contributes to the global economy, with Surakarta recording a 15.3% increase in halal-based MSMEs between 2019–2022, totaling around 8,500 potentials. Yet, by 2023, only 17 MSMEs obtained official halal certification, revealing a substantial gap. This study applies K-Means Clustering to map halal-certified MSMEs in Surakarta as a strategic effort to strengthen the ecosystem. Using data from 17 MSMEs, three optimal clusters (High, Medium, Low) were identified, validated with a Silhouette Score of 0.63. Each cluster reflects distinct characteristics across financial, operational, marketing, and halal compliance aspects. The findings offer an empirical foundation for stakeholders to formulate targeted interventions, including certification training, digital marketing adoption, and market expansion support. This clustering approach is expected to drive inclusive, effective, and competitive growth of the halal economy in Surakarta
