Abstract

Unpleasant school experiences due to bullying, whether as a victim or perpetrator, can be a significant source of stress and reduce the quality of life for students (Mathew, 2015). The stress experienced by students will hurt intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships. This will make students feel that the learning climate at their school is unpleasant (Souttera, 2013). This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of SWB through REBT in junior high school students in the city of Yogyakarta. In addition, this research is expected to become the basis for guidance and counseling teaching materials in junior high schools in the city of Yogyakarta. This research is action research carried out by researchers and collaborating with related parties which is adapted to the school situation. The REBT module and SWB measuring instrument used in thiprevious research developmentsprevious researchers' research. The measuring tool used to reveal the SWB of bullying perpetrators is the School Well-Being Scale (SWB Scale). The SWB scale refers to four aspects of SWB, namely having (school conditions), loving (social relationships), and being (self-fulfillment). The results of this research include significant differences in the School Well-Being of the Experimental group which was measured 3 times, namely Pre-test, Post-test, and Follow-up so that Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy was proven to be effective in improving and changing attitudes, perceptions, ways of thinking, beliefs and The irrational view of the bully becomes a rational view. Apart from that, there was an insignificant difference in the control group's School Well-Being which was measured 3 times, namely pre-testcarry-over effects and cofounding factors such as intense interaction and communication between the experimental and control groups caused thisperimental and control groups.

Abstract

Sebagai seorang guru sudah semestinya untuk memandang profesi dan kariernya sebagai buah dari keikhlasan dalam hal mengajar serta belajar. Adanya persepsi masyarakat yang memandang tolak ukur kesuksesan seseorang berdasarkan dengan capaian secara eksternal juga menjadi salah satu faktor adanya pergeseran makna kesuksesan pada guru. Agar guru dapat mencapai kesuksesan karier subjektif maka guru perlu berkomitmen kepada kariernya sehingga dapat memandang makna kesuksesannya berdasarkan penilaian dalam dirinya.  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya peran komitmen karier terhadap kesuksesan karier subjektif pada guru. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian 320 guru di Jawa Timur dan Kalimantan. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen penelitian skala The Commitment Career Measure (CCM) dan skala Subjective Career Success Inventory (SCSI). Metode analisis data pada penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan dua kali uji regresi untuk mengetahui peran secara keseluruhan dan peran perdimensi. Pertama, uji regresi linier sederhana diketahui komitmen karier berperan terhadap kesuksesan karier subjektif pada guru. Kedua, uji regresi linier berganda diketahui hasil yang menunjukkan, adanya peran antara dimensi komitmen karier terhadap dimensi kesuksesan karier subjektif pada guru yang secara keseluruhan dibahas pada bagian diskusi.

Abstract

Preventing symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) that health workers face during the current COVID-19 pandemic is a worldwide challenge, as healthcare workers may experience chronic, often unpredictable work stressors that lead to PTSD. This review aimed to describe the prevalence of post-traumatic stress disorder worldwide. As part of this review, we searched MEDLINE, PubMed, Google Scholar, and Crossref for publications using selected keywords. The Articles have been reviewed and classified into one or more categories based on Topics: prevalence of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). A total of 13 publications fit our inclusion criteria. Here The findings of the review show the prevalence is high in Spain, Italy, and the USA; the mean shown in the review is 13,3% of PTSD. Highlight the need for urgent interventions to protect healthcare workers from the psychological impact of pandemic-related traumatic events leading to PTSD. Health care Policies must consider strategies for preventing and managing PTSD and related mental disorders.

Abstract

Menyontek adalah sebuah tindakan anomali moral yang kian merebak khususnya di kalangan mahasiswa, sehingga perlu untuk mengidentifikasi faktor yang memengaruhi perilaku menyontek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh performance goal orientation terhadap perilaku menyontek. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 643 mahasiswa di Kota Makassar berusia 17-26 tahun yang diperoleh melalui teknik cluster sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala perilaku menyontek dan performance goal orientation yang hasilnya dianalisis dengan uji regresi linier sederhana mengunakan JASP 0.14.1. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0.401 yang berarti bahwa performance goal orientation mampu menjelaskan 40.1% variasi perilaku menyontek. Nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh adalah .00 (p < .05) yang berarti bahwa performance goal orientation mampu menjadi prediktor yang signifikan terhadap perilaku menyontek. Temuan dalam penelitian ini berimplikasi pada perlunya mahasiswa menyadari pentingnya integritas akademik, serta memaknai proses pendidikan sebagai kesempatan untuk memperkaya diri melalui pendalaman materi, tidak hanya berorientasi pada hasil yang dapat menjebak pada perilaku menyontek.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan goal setting pada motivasi belajar mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Yogyakarta. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 26 siswa kelas VII SMP “X” Yogyakarta, yang dibagi menjadi 13 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 13 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala motivasi belajar, wawancara dan observasi. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre post control group design. Analisis penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Analisis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney untuk mengetahui motivasi belajar mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa setelah diberikan pelatihan goal setting. Hasil penelitian yaitu pada pretest dan posttest motivasi belajar mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam menunjukkan ada peningkatan setelah diberikan pelatihan goal setting dengan nilai Z= -4.359, P= 0.000, P< 0.05. Pada pretest dan follow up motivasi belajar mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam menunjukkan ada peningkatan setelah dua minggu diberikan pelatihan dengan nilai Z= -2.500, P= 0.012, P< 0.05. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pelatihan goal setting dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa kelas VII SMP “X” Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This study is conducted to examine the role of self-concept and self-efficacy on academic burnout in students. The method of research used in this study is a quantitative approach. The object of the research focuses on a sample of 278 students and uses the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. This research instrument uses an adaptation scale with a Likert model on academic burnout, self-concept, self-efficacy. The academic burnout scale was obtained from the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS) which has been translated into Indonesian with a Cronbach's Alpha reliability of 0,838. The self-concept scale was adapted from self-concept in preadilescence: a brief version of AF5 (Five-Factor Self-Concept) scale with Cronbach's Alpha reliability of 0,825. The self-efficacy scale was adapted from the Self-Efficacy Questionnaire in Youth with Cronbach's Alpha reliability of 0,988. Furthermore, data analysis in this study uses multiple linear regression. The results of the study conclude that self-concept and self-efficacy have a big role in provoked academic burnout. It shows that students will experience less burnout when they feel confident to face all of the academic activities or when they can accomplish academic achievement. The contribution that is given together produces 30.5%. Self-concept contributes 12.99% while self-efficacy contributes 17.49%. So, we can conclude that self-efficacy contributes an important role in affecting academic burnout.

Abstract

Self-compassion is an individual's effort to open up, connect with pain, and treat oneself well, even under challenging circumstances. Various studies continue to develop regarding self-compassion, but the limitation of the instrument, specifically for adolescents' age, becomes the study's concern. This study aims to develop the Instrumen Self-Compassion Usia Remaja (ISCIRA) using the RASCH measurement model. Participants in this study were 243 high school students aged 14-17 years. The results of the Instrumen Self-Compassion Usia Remaja (ISCIRA) have a reliability value in the excellent category and an item reliability value of 0.98 in the particular category. The validity of the 54 items in the Instrumen Self-Compassion Usia Remaja (ISCIRA)was tested, and the results obtained were 44 statement items suitable for measuring adolescent self-compassion.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the influence of family support, teaching method, peer, and gadget usage on the learning motivation of students of SD Islam Terpadu Ash Shidiqq. The type of this research is a survey with a quantitative approach. The population of this research was 60 student guardians recruited through a saturated sample and was done by the methods of questionnaire and documentation. Data were then analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM) assisted by the SmartPLS application. The research result put into evidence the influence of learning motivation. The following are the results sequenced from the lowest to the highest; family support with P-Values 0.000, gadget usage with a value of 0.010, peer with a value of 0.030, and teaching method with a value of 0.047. Based on the Goodness of Fit analysis of 0,696, R Square resulted in 0.900. This value showed that the used model predicted an excellent model. The implication of this research is that to increase students' learning motivation of SD IT Ash Shidqq, family support and gadget usage need to be handled better.

Abstract

Loneliness is a common symptom that every individual can feel. Research on loneliness began to develop almost all over the world, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the main focuses is the development of loneliness instruments for instrument renewal. Participant; this instrument was tested on 683 high school students in Bandung. Result; analysis of the instrument using the RASCH model produces a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.77 which is in the excellent category, with item reliability of 0.99 in the particular category and personal reliability of 0.79, which is included in the excellent category. The conclusion is that this loneliness instrument can be used for further research.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelatihan pengurangan stres berbasis kesadaran (mindfulness based stres reduction) untuk menurunkan kecemasan pada perawat gugus tugas Covid 19. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 16 peserta dengan rentang usia antara 25-35 tahun yang memiliki skor kecemasan kategori sedang dan berat serta terbagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala kecemasan HARS (14 aspek) yang mengacu pada aspek-aspek kecemasan menurut (Stuart dan Sundeen, 1998)). Desain penelitian ini menggunakan random assignment. Analisis data dari penelitian ini terdiri dari analisis kualitatif dan analisis data kuantitatif. Analisis data kualitatif dilakukan berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan mann whitney test digunakan untuk melihat perbedaan kecemasan kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol setelah subjek diberikan perlakuan dan wilcoxon signed ranks test digunakan untuk melihat perbedaan kecemasan pada kelompok eksperimen antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan. Hasilnya menunjukan bahwa ada perbedaan tingkat kecemasan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol setelah diberikan perlakuan dengan nilai Z sebesar -2,637dengan signifikansi 0,008 (p<0,05). Selanjutnya ada perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap skor kecemasan pada kelompok eksperimen sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan dengan nilai Z sebesar -2,807; p = 0,002 (p<0,05). Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan pengurangan stres berbasis kesadaran (mindfulness based stres reduction) untuk menurunkan kecemasan pada perawat gugus tugas Covid 19.
