Abstract

Learning Arabic mufradat, strategies, methods, and approaches are often less meaningful and only a formality for students. This research describes integrating Saussure's signifier-signified theory into Arabic vocabulary learning. The process in this research uses library research, which is a method of collecting data then understanding the data and studying theories from various sources of articles, and books by the research. The results of this study show that Saussure's signifiant-signified theory in the application of the principles of the relationship between the signifier and signified includes four aspects, including a) written sign (sign in the form of writing, b) oral-audio sign (sign in the form of sound), c) visual sign (sign in the form of pictures), d) object sign (a sign of a concrete object). Implementation in learning should be done sequentially, starting from the written sign as an introduction to the vocabulary and its meaning, oral-audio sign as an improvement of pronunciation, visual sign as strengthening mastery of mufradat, and object sign as contextual use of mufradat.

Abstract

Many content creators convey Arabic material in a funny and witty way. It is not uncommon to convey Arabic content videos via Youtube in informal language and evem use slang to make it seem more communicative. The aim of this research is to find out the variations of Arabic found in the funny assembly youtube content, as well as find out the social language found in it. The research method used is a qualitative content analysis approach with the research subject being one of the videos from the Majelis Lucu’s youtube account. The research instrument used was observation in one of the videos with analysis of each Arabic sentence delivered and documentation to record the time the sentence was delivered in the video in question. The result of the reseach show that in the videos submitted in humorous forums, a total of 12 variation of Arabic were found, with details of 7 of language interferences, 2 language integrations, 1 code switching. And 2 arabic code mixings in youtube content. Meanwhile, the social language in the video found 2 social language with the type of slang and vulgar. The influence of conveying Arabic through youtube social media has a big impact on people’s understanding of Arabic.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the similarities and differences between similes in Arabic and Indonesian languages, as well as the lessons learned from this analysis. The research employs a comparative analysis, which involves comparing Arabic similes with Indonesian similes to identify the differences between the two within the science of balaghah. A descriptive approach is adopted for this research. Data collection utilizes documentation and observation instruments, specifically through reviewing journals and books related to tasybih. The study's findings reveal that similes are widely used in both Arabic and Indonesian. However, there are some key similarities and differences between the two languages. Similarities lie in the meaning and function of similes, as they are used as metaphors in poetry and literature. The primary difference lies in the lack of subcategories for similes in Indonesian compared to Arabic. Additionally, the tools used for constructing similes are more extensive in Arabic. Furthermore, similes offer educational benefits in language learning by aiding learners in understanding and memorizing new vocabulary and grammatical structures. This study demonstrates the potential of similes as a tool for teaching both Arabic and Indonesian languages, particularly in enhancing language skills and cultural understanding.

Abstract

The study of rhetoric is one of the sciences that studies how to process words or sentences in the Arabic language that are beautiful because they have clear meanings, and the style of the language used must be in accordance with the situation and conditions. There are three divisions in rhetoric: the science of meanings, the science of eloquence, and the science of ingenuity. In the science of ingenuity, the researcher chose alliteration and assonance. The aims of this study are: 1.Definition How many Jinas and Sajak in the book of commandments of fathers to children. 2.Definition of the types of  Jinas and Sajak in the book Fathers' Commandments to Sons. The library study is based on reading books, magazines, or other research sources to collect data, and the researcher needs deep thinking to get a good research result, then she reads the books and continues to analyze the books in terms of rhetoric.

Abstract

This qualitative descriptive research with a literature review design adopts the hypnoteaching method through the Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) approach as an innovative effort to enhance students' motivation in speaking the Arabic language. The study's research question is if the hypnoteaching approach based on Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) can boost students' motivation to speak Arabic. The study's findings suggest that the hypnoteaching method and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) are useful in educational growth, especially the Arabic language. The steps of hypnoteaching involve motivation, pacing, leading, positive words, praise, modeling, and teacher expertise. The application of NLP involves understanding students' characteristics, using outcomes, rapport, sensory acuity, and flexibility. Furthermore, the use of hypnoteaching through NLP in learning Arabic speaking can be an effort to enhance students' learning motivation, create more effective learning, overcome psychological barriers, and encourage students' motivation to actively develop Arabic speaking skills. Thus, this forms a strong foundation for the significant development of students' speaking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mengetahui  implementasi  pembelajaran nahwu berbasis metode bernyanyi serta respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran nahwu berbasis metode bernyanyi kelas XII IPS 1 di SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Tulangan. Metode yang digunakan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang akan dianalisis adalah berupa  observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.  Hasil  penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  implementasi  pembelajaran  nahwu berbasis metode bernyanyi di SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Tulangan dilaksanakan   dalam   3 (tiga)  tahapan   yaitu Pertama, Perencanaan pembelajaran dengan membuat rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) dan pemilihan metode pembelajaran. Kedua, Pelaksanaan pembelajaran nahwu berbasis metode bernyanyi menggunakan lagu “ dua mata saya “ dan lirik lagu tersebut di ubah menjadi rangkaian kaidah materi macam-macam khobar. Ketiga, Evaluasi pembelajaran nahwu berbasis metode bernyanyi dilaksanakan secara lisan dan tulisan berupa soal tanya jawab dan soal ujian harian. Sedangkan  untuk  hasil penelitian terkait respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran nahwu berbasis metode bernyanyi adalah sebagian besar siswa kelas XII IPS 1 di SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Tulangan dengan angka presentase 90.9% menyatakan sangat setuju bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran nahwu berbasis metode bernyanyi merupakan metode pembelajaran yang sangat menyenangkan, tidak membosankan, dan materi yang disampaikan lebih mudah dipahami sehingga dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Management of implementing the Arabic language learning program at the Al-Muhibbin Islamic Boarding School is a planned process. Because considering the current situation where Arabic has become a necessity for today's society in order to be able to keep up with changing times which are increasingly global and not to be left behind by other countries. Therefore, Arabic language learning programs are very important. This research discusses the management of implementing the Arabic language learning program at the Al-Muhibbin Islamic Boarding School. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, and data collection is carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of the Arabic language learning program at the Al-Muhibbin Islamic Boarding School is going well. There are two Arabic language learning programs at this Islamic boarding school, namely main activities and additional activities. The main activity in this program is classroom learning. This activity goes through three stages, namely introduction, core activities, and closing activities. Activities are held at 14.00-16.00 and 20.00-22.00. Meanwhile, additional activities are divided into daily activities, namely additional mufrodat and muhadasah al-yaumiyah. The weekly activity is muhadhoroh. The annual activities are FASTABIN and rihlah lughoh. Overall, the management of the implementation of the Arabic language learning program at the Al-Muhibbin Islamic Boarding School reflects a strong commitment to providing useful experiences for the students to improve their Arabic language skills and understanding of religion as evidenced by their enthusiasm when participating in this program, their communication practices using Arabic.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine gender relationships in Arabic language learning in social-educational studies. The method used in this research employed a library approach with the data source being actual and factual literacy, and Mels and Heberman data analysis was utilized using interactive techniques. The results of this research showed that gender was not a true social construct or form, was not innate from birth, and could not also be said to be God's nature or provision because gender was related to the process of believing how men and women should act and behave in accordance with structured values, social and cultural provisions in the place where they were located. Learning Arabic could not be separated from linguistics and was included in the subcategory of grammar, especially in understanding the placement of mudzakkar and muannast. In the structure of the Arabic language, masculinity was the fundamental that was subjected, while femininity was the branch that had no ability as a subject

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the management of the Center of Excellence (CoE) program initiated by the Arabic Language Education Study Program of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang in an effort to improve the skills of Arabic translators. Data collection techniques are interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques between data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the study found that: first, at the planning stage, the Study Program collaborated with several industrial partners (DUDI) through an MoU, which then collaborated in the preparation of the curriculum, and pre-internship activities. Second, the implementation stage is divided into two main activities, namely translation in written and oral form. Third, the evaluation / assessment stage consists of two main components, namely the value given by the institution where the internship is and the value of the internship supervisor. Through this program, the internship report is used as the equivalent of the thesis.

Abstract

This research is motivated by Arabic language learning on mufrodat material with the teaching process in class still using conventional methods, lecture methods, and sometimes assisted with powepoint media. However, the media is considered less diverse and innovative so that it still does not attract the attention of students. So that students still have difficulty in learning this mufrodat, because it feels monotonous. Therefore, researchers try to implement Genially web-based learning media on Arabic mufrodat material which has different characteristics from other media because of its interesting gamification features and can give a pleasant impression during the learning process. The purpose of this study is to see the effectiveness and comparison of student learning outcomes before and after the application of genially web-based learning media on mufordat material. This research uses quantitative research with experimental methods with Independent Sample T-Test data analysis, the samples taken in this study were class VIII A as an experimental class with a total of 24 students and class VIII B as a control class with a total of 21 students. The results of this study indicate that the value of a Sig. (2-tailed) 0.003 is smaller than 0.05, which means that there is an influence and significant average difference between learning outcomes with the application of Genially web learning media and those that do not use Genially web application at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Tulangan.
