Abstract

This study aims to explore the use of vlog in learning Mahārah kalām. The formulation of the problem in this study is: how to use Vlogs in learning Mahārah kalām and What is the perception of students regarding the use of Vlogs on learning Mahārah kalām. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with trianguliation techniques namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The results revealed the use of Vlog /Vlogging in Mahārah kalām learning using the following steps: (1) Determination of the theme by lecturers supporting the course, (2) Preparation of ideas as material for making scripts/scenarios, (3) Site selection, (4) Evaluation of results, (5) and publication of Vlog video results on social media accounts. received a very positive response from students of the IAIN Palangka Raya Language Education Study Program. 28 out of 30 students gave positive responses regarding the use of Vlogs in the learning of Mahārah kalām. This positive response is based on several reasons: its use is easy, flexible, practical, and economical. Students are also required to be more creative in making vlogging videos so as to produce a good video. but the use of Vlog is also not free from negative responses such as cheating by students who seem to hide the text/script behind the camera so that the video presented is not entirely pure from the results of Mahārah kalām.

Abstract

This research is useful to discuss the use of information and communication technology in Arabic learning in Islamic University by using the literature study method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data sources in this research are research literature and theory books. This study aims to obtain written information related to the use of information and communication technology as a media for Arabic learning in Islamic University. In addition to answering questions about the media that can be used in Arabic learning as an effort by Islamic Universities to make Arabic easy to understand, to know, to practice and like students in their learning. The researcher concludes that with advances in information and communication technology, Arabic lecturers must be able to develop effective Arabic learning models in an Islamic university, and use appropriate methods to realize learning objectives and use media that are compatible with learning methods that are accordance with information and communication technology advancement. information. The development of technology and communication provide great potential to change the way students learn and obtain information. Various learning media that can be used for effective Arabic learning are computer, internet, television, and Arabic e-learning. Abstract

The development of technology has a big impact on human life. The existence of a machine translation is the result of technological advancements that aim to facilitate humans in translating one language into another. The focus of this research is to examine the quality of the google translate machine in terms of vocabulary accuracy, clarity, and reasonableness of meaning. Data of mufradāt taken from several Arabic translation dictionaries, while the text is taken from the phenomenal work of Dr. Aidh Qorni in the book Lā Tahzan. The method used in this research is the translation critic method. The results showed that in terms of the accuracy of vocabulary and terms, Google Translate has a good translation quality. In terms of clarity and reasonableness of meaning, google translate has not been able to transmit ideas from the source language well into the target language. Furthermore, in grammatical, the results of the google translate translation do not have a grammatical arrangement, the results of the google translate translation do not have a good grammatical structure and are by following the rules that applied in the target Indonesian language.From the data, it shows that google translate should not be used as a basis for translating an Arabic text into Indonesian, especially in translating verses of the Qur'ān and Hadīts. A beginner translator should prefer a dictionary rather than using google translate to effort and improve the ability to translate.Key Words: Translation, Google Translate, Arabic

Abstract

The languages have a different language formation, because of them make many studies of linguistics, one of them is study of syntax. Study of syintax in Arabic uses Nahwu’s knowledge. The method of this research is qualitative descriptive. This research aims to know the form and position of lafadz “Kam” in the verses of the Qur’an. This researh is necessary, when someone is wrong to determine form and position of lafadz, will make error in interpretation and understanding of the text. The result of this research, the form of “lafadz Kam ’ in the Qur’an has three forms; the first “Kam Istifhamiyyah” there are six verses, the second “Kam Khobariyyah” there are fifteen verses, and the third have two forms, the form of “Kam Istifhamiyyah” and “Kam Khobariyyah”, there are two verses in Qur’an. The lafadz position kam in verses of Qur’an has three positions, namely Mubtada’ there are three verses, Maf’ul bih there are fifteen verses, and Dhorof substitute there are three verses. Abstract

Indeed humans live in a specific environment and receive the language of this environment by acquiring it with a certainty of its vocal, grammatical, and semantic, as well as with knowledge of social rules in understanding and producing speech. Although linguists agree on this fact in language acquisition, they differ in their views on the acquisition process. Every opinion is based on a theory towards the nature of language. This research aims to explain and evaluate the linguistic theory in Arabic heritage. The researcher reads deeply the references, After a comprehensive understanding is formed on the object of the research, the researcher analyzes and realizes this information. The results of this research indicate that the Arabic heritage took place in the various theories presented by Arab linguists, namely “analysis” and “classification”. The various assumptions and theories used by the Arab linguistic heritage to classify the language and to describe it can be combined in an interference group of circles representing the general structure of the linguistic classification theory, as the various assumptions define and visualize their location from each other. So, the Arabic lesson needs to be reviewed and described as taxonomic rather than a standard lesson. Keywords: Linguistic theory, Arabic Heritage, Evaluation.

Abstract

One of the problems in teaching Arabic for teachers at school is the difficulty of organizing the classroom to motivate students. These affect the results of their learnings weakly. To resolve this problem, the types of learning media were made and applied. One of the ways to apply it is the Arabic language game. In this research, the researcher applies the games "Whisper of Verb" and "Counting and Applause" in SMP Plus Cordova Banyuwangi. This research uses the qualitative approach and field in the five classes of students in the 7th grade. The results of this research indicate that: 1) The game "Whisper of Verb" was applied to upgrade the skill of listening and memorizing the verbal vocabularies. The game "Counting and Applause" was applied to upgrade memorizing about the numerical vocabularies, cardinal and ordinal. 2) The game "Whisper of Verb" was applied in four to five parts. The game "Counting and Applause" was applied individually but together. 3) The two games "Whisper of Verb" and "Counting and Applause" made teaching the Arabic language effectively and learning it fun and not boring. 4) The two games helped to enlarge students' tendencies, social intelligence, and competitive enthusiasm. Abstract

Islam datang membawa kontribusi besar untuk membangun masyarakat Sunda. Diantaranya, pengayaan kata serapan dari Al quran. hal ini adalah bukti adanya hubungan yang kuat sejak masuknya Islam ke tanah Sunda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan-perubahan semantis kata-kata serapan Sunda dari Alquran, dan juga bertujuan mengetahui metode pemanfaatannya dalam pengajaran bahasa Arab untuk orang Sunda. Dalam menyelesaikan penelitiannya, peneliti menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Metode ini digunakan untuk menganalisis kata-kata serapan dari semantisnya. Adapun caranya dengan membandingkan kedua bahasa, antara bahasa Arab dan bahasa Sunda dengan menggunakan dua kamus, kamus Arab dan kamus Sunda. Kemudian mendeskrifsikan dan menganalisis kata-kata serapan tersebut, dan berusaha mengaplikasikannya dalam pengajaran bahasa Arab untuk orang Sunda dalam bentuk taklim mufradat, qiraah, dan hiwar. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya perubahan-perubahan kata serapan dari segi semantis. Perubahan semantik terbagi menjadi tiga, yaitu: penyempitan makna, peluasan makna, dan perubahan makna, selain itu ada beberapa kata serapan yang tidak mengalami perubahan semantik. Penelitian ini juga menunjukan bahwa Kata-kata serapan ini dapat dimanfaatkan dalam pengajaran bahasa Arab untuk orang Sunda dengan berbagai macam cara dan metode, seperti pengajaran aswat, sharaf, pengajaran dalam kalimat sempurna, teks hiwar dan teks qiraah. Abstract

Intensive Arabic Program is one of the activities to develop students knowledge in achieving learning objectives. Lack of time in the school activitiy is one of the reasons for lack of optimal learning in the school, especially in the learning Arabic which is considered a difficult foreign language for students. This research aims to explain the type of Arabic language extracurricular activities at MTsN 2 Kediri, the implementation, the evaluation of learning, and the obstacles encountered during the implementation. This research used a qualitative approach with interview, observation, and documentation. The results of this research indicate that the type of Intensive Arabic Program activities at MTsN 2 Kediri is the fostering of Arabic language achievement which focuses on speaking skills. The implementation of it’s activities at MTsN 2 every day and every years. Evaluation of learning by giving post-test, quizz, midterm, final examination, and on going activities. In its implementation the researcher found some obstacles, including activities that are less interesting. Keywords: Intensive Program, Arabic Language, Evaluation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to know the theory of learning behaviorism through BF Skinner's thinking in planning Arabic learning. This research method is literature study with qualitative approach, data is extracted through literature study and analyzed through content analysis. The primary data source in this study is The Theories of Learning by Ratna Willis Dahar. While secondary data in this study were obtained from literature exploration related to the discussion. The results of the analysis show that the BF Skinner theory can be applied in Arabic learning planning that is the material being studied is analyzed up to the units organically, the subject matter is used a module system, learning evaluation must be notified to students, if incorrectly corrected and if properly strengthened, more tests emphasized for the sake of diagnostics, in education prioritizing changing the environment to avoid violations so as not to punish, prioritizing the needs that will lead to operant behavior, the behavior desired by educators are rewarded, the desired behavior is analyzed in small ways, increasingly reaching goals, implementing mastery learning is to learn the material thoroughly according to each time because each child has a different rhythm.

Abstract

The emergency of the new era, namely industrial era 4.0, is a challenge and opportunity in all aspects of life, including education’s field. Along with the emergence of challenges and opportunities, there need to be new breakthroughs in innovation for developing the learning courses, namely Tarkib Mukatstsaf Ibtida'i. This course is a compulsory subject for students of the Department of Arabic Letter, Faculty of Letters, State University of Malang (JSA, FS, UM). This study was designed to test the feasibility of android-based Arabic language learning innovations in tertiary institutions. The subjects of this study were students of JSA, FS, UM as respondents, lecturers of educational technology departments, UM as media experts and lecturers of Arabic letter, UM as material experts. The results of the validation test of Tarkib Mukatstsaf Ibtida'i's teaching materials product conducted by material experts are 95%, which means these teaching materials are very valid and very feasible to be used in learning. The results of validation from media experts, the value of this product is 95.38% means that this teaching material is very valid and very feasible to be used in learning. While the average results of the assessment from correspondents amounted to 82.35%, meaning that these teaching material products are very valid and sifted worthy to be used in learning Keyword: Tarkib Mukatstsaf Ibtida'i, feasibility test
