Abstract

This article discusses the history, core teachings, and development of thought within Islam from its pre-Islamic origins to the present day. The Islamic thought presented in this article encompasses various aspects, including historical, social, political, and legal aspects. The researcher adopts a qualitative descriptive method through library research, which involves an in-depth study of various literary sources such as journals, books, and other relevant materials related to the research topic. Additionally, the researcher employs historical methods in this study due to its connection with past events.

Abstract

This study traces the fundamental role of humanist thought in bridging the gap between Islamic values and the universality of human values. This study adopts a library research method that applies a literature analysis approach that is not only inclusive but also holistic in collecting, evaluating, and integrating findings from various literature sources that are relevant to the focus of the study. The results of the study highlight the positive contribution of humanist thinking in stretching the harmony between Islamic teachings and universal human values, being a driver in shaping an inclusive and sustainable world for all individuals, regardless of their religious or cultural diversity. The relationship between Islamic teachings and universal human values has shown a positive evolution, with humanist thought serving as an essential link that fosters interreligious dialogue and promotes tolerance. The influence of humanist thought in the structure of society and interreligious relations also creates an environment that promotes inclusiveness, sustainability, and peace. While challenges remain, humanist thinking remains a positive driver in shaping a better world for all human beings, regardless of their religious or cultural background.

Abstract

Indonesia saat ini sedang mengalami perang pemikiran meskipun banyak yang tidak menyadarinya. Salah satu aliran berfikir yang muncul di tanah air saat ini adalah pemikiran Jaringan Islam Liberal dan ini perlu dikaji untuk mengetahui apakah ia sejalan dengan ajaran agama Islam atau tidak. Meskipun isu ini cukup “sensitif” untuk dibahas, eksistensinya tidak dapat dinafikan. Maka tujuan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengungkap definisi liberalisme, mengetahui apa itu jaringan islam liberal, dan menganalisis makna pluralisme serta konsepnya dalam jaringan islam liberal. Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analisis. Jenis penelitiannya ialah kajian pustaka, yang sumber data primernya adalah jurnal-jurnal tentang JIL dan fatwa MUI.  Dari penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa pluralisme dalam pemikiran JIL di Indonesia ini merupakan pluralisme agama yang mana ini bertentangan dengan ajaran Islam yang sesungguhnya. Semoga tulisan ini dapat berkontribusi dalam menyadarkan rakyat Islam Indonesia untuk sadar dan waspada akan aliran-aliran yang tidak sesuai dengan agamanya.

Abstract

Dalam landasan agama Islam, prinsip kesetaraan manusia di mata Allah menjadi fokus utama. Al-Quran, sebagai sumber petunjuk agama, menegaskan nilai kesetaraan di antara semua individu. Penelitian ini, menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui studi kepustakaan. Yaitu dengan cara mengumpulkan data-data relevan yang sesuai dengan tema bahasan. Artikel ini memuat konsep kesetaraan manusia, ayat al-Quran terkait kesetaraan manusia, contoh tindakan Rasulullah terkait kesetaraaan manusia, ketimpangan sosial yang ada di indonesia, serta solusi dan tindakan yang memperkuat kesetaraan manusia. Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, penting memahami dan menerapkan nilai-nilai kesetaraan dan martabat manusia. Ini termasuk menghindari diskriminasi berdasarkan perbedaan suku, ras, budaya, atau status sosial. Setiap individu memiliki hak dan martabat yang sama. Dalam Islam, nilai-nilai seperti keadilan, kasih sayang, dan persaudaraan universal ditekankan. Oleh karena itu, kita harus menghormati hak-hak individu, melawan diskriminasi, dan mempromosikan kesetaraan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Semua orang memiliki nilai yang sama di mata Allah, dan kita memiliki tanggung jawab untuk memperlakukan semua orang dengan hormat. Dengan memahami dan mengamalkan nilai-nilai ini, kita dapat membantu membangun masyarakat yang adil dan inklusif, di mana setiap individu dihargai dan memiliki kesempatan yang sama untuk berkembang.In the foundation of the Islamic religion, the principle of human equality in the eyes of Allah is the main focus. The Al-Qur’an, as a source of religious guidance, emphasizes the value of equality between all individuals. This research uses qualitative methods through literature study. Namely by collecting relevant data that is in accordance with the topic of discussion. This article contains the concept of human equality, verses from the Al-Qur’an related to human equality, examples of the Prophet's actions regarding human equality, social inequality that exists in Indonesia, as well as solutions and actions that strengthen human equality. In everyday life, it is important to understand and apply the values of equality and human dignity. This includes avoiding discrimination based on differences in ethnicity, race, culture, or social status. Every individual has the same rights and dignity. In Islam, values such as justice, compassion and universal brotherhood are emphasized. Therefore, we must respect individual rights, fight discrimination, and promote equality in everyday life. All people have equal value in the eyes of God, and we have a responsibility to treat everyone with respect. By understanding and practicing these values, we can help build a just and inclusive society, where every individual is valued and has equal opportunities to thrive.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis aktualisasi pembelajaran dan kesulitan yang dialami oleh guru dan peserta didik pada implementasi pendidikan agama islam di madrasah. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi untuk memperoleh pemahaman tentang kesulitan pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam di madrasah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang dikumpulkan selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan interaktif model dengan langkah-langkah analisis data yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertama, pelaksanaan pembelajaran PAI di madrasah kota kendari (MIN 1, MTsN 1 dan MAN 1) dilakukan secara sinkronus dan asinkronus dengan menggunakan berbagai macam aplikasi belajar seperti whatsApp, zoom meeting, google meet, google form dan e-learning; kedua, bentuk kesulitan yang dialami oleh guru yaitu sulitnya menyampaikan materi melalui daring dengan waktu yang terbatas (sinkronus) selain itu guru kesulitan dalam melakukan penilaian secara online (sinkronus/asinkronus); adapun kesulitan yang dialami oleh siswa yaitu jaringan internet yang tidak stabil, paket data yang tidak ada dan sulitnya memahami penjelasan guru (pembelajaran sinkronus).Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Agama Islam, Sinkronus dan Asinkronus

Abstract

Marriage is "half of the religion" which plays a central role in the lives of individual Muslims. On the other hand, education is an important principle in Islamic teachings, as explained in the Qur'an and Hadith. In today's modern society, the phenomenon of Muslim women finding it important to pursue higher education and build a career before marriage. However, a controversy arises; is it permissible in Islam to reject a marriage proposal in favour of education or career? One of the muftis of Saudi Arabia, Shaykh Muhammad bin Shalih Al-Uthaimin, forbids it. This type of research is conceptual using a library research approach. Primary data is obtained from the opinion of Shaykh Muhammad bin Shalih Al-Uthaimin, secondary data is obtained from books, articles, and other scientific works relevant to the discussion. The results showed that Al-Uthaimin used the istinbath method based on the text of the Qur'an, the hadith of the prophet about marriage, and qaul shahabi. The results of the analysis also highlight the importance of pre-marriage agreements, especially with respect to education and career, to build a harmonious marriage. Al-Uthaymeen's statement on higher education being "not needed by the ummah" is quite controversial in the dynamic life of society. Al-Uthaymeen's opinion considers maslahah and Islamic principles in decision-making, while still respecting individual rights. This shows that within Islam, there are diverse views that can serve as a basis for modern society to make decisions in line with their religious values and goals.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to evaluate Sahiron Syamsuddin's ma'na cum maghza theory of hadith studies. The data for this study, which employs a qualitative methodology and a kind of library research, was obtained from documents taken from books and scientific papers. Data for the study were gathered using documentary methods, and content analysis was used to examine them. The study's findings demonstrate that Sahiron Syamsuddin's theory of ma'na cum Maghza is a technique for interpreting hadith (hadith hermeneutics) in which a mufassir identifies the original and/or literal meaning of history as it was understood by the original audience and then develops that meaning in its (Maghza) significance for modern application. The ma'na cum maghza technique of interpretation cannot be used by just anyone. With the ma'na cum maghza approach, concrete steps in interpretation are carried out in two stages. Finding ma'na, or the text's original meaning, comes first. The maghza (importance of the verse) is determined by the second. It is crucial to teach this technique to the upcoming generation of interpreters so that contextualist interpretation instead of literal-textualist interpretation is produced.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of social media on the Muslim community's perception of interfaith relationships. Focus is also given to the preventive measures taken by families in the face of this phenomenon. The research method involved social media content analysis and interviews with various relevant parties. The findings show that social media has a significant role in shaping public views and lives, especially among the younger generation. In the context of interfaith relationships, social media, particularly through the role of influencers, can change public perception and acceptance of this phenomenon. In the context of preventing children's involvement in interfaith relations, families play an important role. Preventive strategies involve early religious education to shape religious values, social media monitoring, providing positive motivation, creating a harmonious family environment, and providing an understanding of the consequences and challenges that may be faced. The preventive measures taken by families reflect efforts to maintain religious and cultural values. The conclusions of this study underscore the importance of open dialogue, education, and regulations that tighten laws on interfaith relations. The implications of this study can help develop a wise and balanced approach to this phenomenon in Indonesian Muslim society.

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki dan menganalisa potensi harmonisasi konsep psikologi Islam dan Barat dalam konteks implementasi pendidikan islam. Perubahan dinamis dalam dunia pendidikan menuntut pemahaman yang lebih mendalam terhadap aspek psikologis peserta didik, baik dari perspektif islam maupun Barat. Dalam upaya menggabungkan kedua tradisi tersebut, artikel ini mencari keselarsaan konsep-konsep psikologis, menyoroti perbedaan esensial, serta mengeksplorasi tantangan dan peluang dalam menciptakan pendekatan yang seimbang. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, artikel ini membahas bagaimana perbedaan pandangan budaya dan agama dapat mempengaruhi proses harmonisasi. Di samping itu, artikel ini memberikan contoh konkret implementasi metode yang mengintegrasikan elemen-elemen psikologi islam dan Barat dalam pembelajaran. Pentingnya harmonisasi ini untuk mencapai pendidikan yang holistik dan seimbang menjadi sorotan utama, dengan fokus pada pengembangan aspek mental, emosional, dan spiritual siswa. Dengan mendalamnya analisis konsep-konsep psikologi kedua tradisi, artikel ini memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman lebih lanjut tentang bagaimana integrasi harmonis dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Islam. Kesimpulan artikel menggarsisbawahi pentingnya menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang memadukan nilai-nilai psikologi Islam dan Barat guna mendukung perkembangan individu secara menyeluruh. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk, pertama, mengetahui implementasi kurikulum moderasi beragama di Sekolah. Kedua, untuk mengetahui strategi sekolah dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama pada peserta didik di Kabupaten Buton Utara. Ketiga, mengetahui sikap moderasi beragama siswa di tengah-tengah keragaman di Sekolah Kabupaten Buton Utara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui hasil wawancara, catatan lapangan, foto, video tape, dokumentasi pribadi, catatan, atau memo dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: Pertama, Implementasi kurikulum moderasi beragama di sekolah Kab. Buton Utara masih dalam bentuk konsep pengetahuan yang terpisah-pisah dalam mata pelajaran tertentu, belum menjadi satu konsep pengetahuan yang utuh dalam satu bidang pengetahuan khusus. Kedua, Strategi sekolah di Buton Utara dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama kepada peserta didik, dilakukan dengan berbagai pendekatan, yaitu: 1) menghadirkan sosok guru teladan, 2) Sekolah   memberikan perlakukaun kesempatan dan layanan pembelajaran kepada semua peserta didik tanpa membedakan asal suku dan agamanya, 3) penguatan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama melalui pengembangan program ekstra kurikuler, dan 4) penguatan sikap moderasi beragama, melalui perayaan hari-hari besar keagamaan. Ketiga, walaupun kurikulum moderasi beragama hanya dalam bentuk pembelajaran yang terpisah-pisah melalui Pendidikan Agama dan Pendidikan Pancasila, tetapi kenyataannya sikap moderasi beragama peserta didik di Buton Utara sangat baik dan sangat positif.
