Abstract

The development and advancement of information and communication technology that penetrates various fields of human life had enormous potential to be used, therefore it was important to integrate thoroughly between technology into the learning process. This study aims to develop a flipbook-based digital as an instructional media that was suitable for the learning activities. This research approach was research and development (RnD) with the ADDIE as a development model which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. However, this research only focuses on knowing the feasibility level of the flipbook. The subjects of this study were media experts (2 people), material experts (2 people), subject teachers (4 people), and 44 high school class XI Science students. The research instrument used a Likert scale of 1 - 5 to find out the opinions of each validator of the flipbook as instructional media. The results of assessment from each validator will be analyzed descriptively using a percentage to determine the level of feasibility. The results showed that the flipbook-based digital media was included in the category of "feasible" to be used as an instructional learning media for biology class in high school, this was indicated by the results of the validation by each of the validators who obtained a “feasible” result.

This study aims to gather data from public and private primary school parents located in the urban, suburban, and rural areas that would contribute to understanding parental roles regarding fully online learning for their children during COVID-19. We also discussed several parents’ self-identified issues on their ability to participate in their children’s fully online learning experiences. A qualitative study was employed as the methodological basis for eliciting 12 parents whose children in 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade attending conventional learning before school closure due to the pandemic. The semi-structured interview was conducted, and verbatim transcripts were analyzed using inductive and thematic analysis approaches. Four major themes were identified from parents’ role during home learning, including organizing and managing, mentoring and instructing, facilitating, and motivating children learning. Online learning relied on how active parents engage and maintain children’s interaction with learning content, teachers, and peers to familiarise their children with online educational settings successfully. However, personal issues arise, which can be stressful as teaching young learners virtually need special attention. Having significant responsibilities to their children learning, parents disclosed key issues and struggled, resulting in a rapid move from face-to-face to online instructions; learning value, learning efficiency, mental and physical health, accessibility.

The data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires to public junior high schools randomly consisting of 799 respondents, namely 329 male and 470 female. Data processing is done by grouping student answers based on research indicators in order to obtain a conflict resolution model used by students. The results showed that the pattern of intergroup relation-based conflict resolution carried out by junior high school students and equivalent in solving problems, students were more dominant in choosing how to communicate, either through cellphones or meeting in person to discuss the root causes of the problems that occurred then reconciled by apologizing to each other, do not do violence, avoid emotions, say rude, high-pitched, to avoid fights. As for students who use violence in an effort to solve problems, it will occur if one of their friends shows opposition and resistance, has a high-pitched tone to speak harshly so that it ignites excessive emotions and causes fights.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the process of developing instrument products in the form of a four-tier diagnostic test on parabolic motion material, and to find out how the quality of a four-tier diagnostic test instrument product on parabolic motion material was developed. The test subjects were all high school students of class X MIPA, taken by purposive sampling, namely 60 students in the first phase of the trial and 134 students for the 2nd phase of the trial. of 0,3 which means valid. The instrument reliability value is 0,859 which is in the very high reliability category. This means that the developed instrument can be used to identify misconceptions. The results of expert validation indicate that the instrument is in the very good category so that it can be used to identify misconceptions. The validation results from the first validator are 85% (Good) and the second validator is 92,08% (very good). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the misconception instrument developed from one-tier questions to four-tier diagnostic tests is appropriate to be used to identify students' misconceptions on parabolic motion material. This can be seen from the results of the analysis of the validity and reliability of the instrument, where all items are valid and have very high reliability.

The data collected were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential t-test which includes one-way ANOVA test and independent-sample t-test. The results showed that the pedagogical competence of vocational teachers was in a low category. Meanwhile, the professional competence of vocational teachers is in the high category, but in some indicators, it is still in the low category. Abstract

Educational models to overcome stunting are needed because stunting has a negative impact on the health and function of the body as well as increasing child morbidity. The prevalence of stunting under five in Indonesia in 2019 was 27.67%, in Bali 21.9% and Karangasem 26.23% above WHO 20%. This data is the reason for conducting research in 2020. The aim is to find out whether the educational model of bio acupressure massage using virgin coconut oil can increase appetite, sleep quality and immune power so that stunting toddlers increase height. The research method is quasi-experimental; the research design is nonequivalent control group design. The sample is 50 people with purposive sampling technique. The analysis before and after treatment was carried out by paired sample t-test, the results were that all variables had significant differences (P value> 0.05). Variable differences between groups using t-two independent test with an alpha of 0.05 resulted in a significant difference in appetite (P value = 0.01) and a significant difference in height (p value = 0.020). There was no significant difference between sleep quality and endurance (P value > 0.05). It was concluded that there was a significant difference before and after education on stunting, while between the bio acupressure and conventional groups there was a significant difference in the variables of appetite and height. It is recommended that in overcoming stunting, bio acupressure massage education is the right education.
