Abstract

In today's digital era, the use of innovative learning media is becoming increasingly important to increase the effectiveness of the learning process. This study aims to determine the application of powtoon media in Islamic religious education learning activities and to determine the effectiveness of powtoon media in improving Islamic Religious Education learning at SMPN 2 Bekasi. The research method used is quantitative, with a one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, learning outcome tests and documentation. The  learning outcomes show that the use of Powtoon media is effective in improving Islamic Religious Education learning at SMP Negeri 2 Bekasi. In the paired sample T test, seen from the sig. value, which is .000, which is smaller than alpha 0.05, then H0 is rejected. Thus, there is a very significant difference before and after the implementation of powtoon media in Islamic Religious Education subjects. Proven by the mean value, before the implementation of powtoon the average learning outcome was 62.10 and after the implementation of powtoon the average learning outcome became 87.05 Thus, the difference is very significant, before the implementation of powtoon the scores were low and after the implementation of powtoon media the PAI learning outcomes were higher.

Abstract

Termodinamika merupakan materi yang sulit dipahami oleh banyak siswa karena konsepnya yang abstrak dan kompleks. Metode pengajaran tradisional dianggap masih kurang mengembangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) menawarkan pendekatan berbasis masalah kontekstual dalam dunia nyata, menjadikannya pilihan yang meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengevaluasi efektivitas model PBL dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dalam pembelajaran materi termodinamika kelas XI B1 di SMAN 2 Pamekasan. Setiap siklus yang digunakan sebagai Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), mencakup tahapan untuk mempersiapkan, melaksanakan, mengamati, dan merefleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan dokumentasi yang selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa meningkat secara signifikan dari 48,40% pada Pra Siklus menjadi 76,30% pada Siklus I dan selanjutnya menjadi 91,32% pada Siklus II. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa paradigma PBL berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa untuk menyelesaikan kesulitan terkait termodinamika.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the "singing while learning" method in teaching Kalimat Thayyibah to third-grade students at SD Negeri Sukaharja II. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at the elementary level plays a crucial role in instilling moral and spiritual values in students, particularly through materials such as Kalimat Thayyibah, which includes expressions like Bismillah, Alhamdulillah, and Subhanallah. However, many students find it difficult to read and memorize these phrases due to monotonous teaching methods. This research employs Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, involving 44 students as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, tests, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed descriptively. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle, only 27% of students achieved the minimum passing grade, while in the second cycle, 91% reached the target. The use of singing, combined with hand movements and group activities, increased student engagement, improved memory retention, and created a more enjoyable learning environment. Thus, the singing method proved effective in enhancing students' ability to read and memorize Kalimat Thayyibah in Islamic Religious Education lessons.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based E-Report Information System that can simplify the process of reporting grades at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang. The methodology used in this research is the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with an iterative model, which includes the stages of planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing and evaluation. Beta testing involves experts and end users. The assessment results from experts show an average percentage of 92.82% in the very good category, while assessments from users get an average percentage of 91.12% which is also categorized as very good. Based on the results of this test, the E-Report Information System developed was declared valid and suitable for use to simplify the process of reporting student grades at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid and practical web-based interactive learning media using the ADDIE model. The study was conducted at SMK Negeri 4 Solok Selatan in Wireless Network Maintenance for grade XI TKJ. The main issue identified was low student engagement and difficulty understanding the material. Validation results showed media experts rated it 88.27% as "Highly Valid," and material experts rated it 87.41% as "Highly Valid." Practicality assessments by teachers reached 95.83% as "Highly Practical," while students rated it 81.03% as "Highly Practical." Thus, this learning media is valid and practical for classroom use.

Abstract

In the learning process, it should be conducted in a two-way manner or requires active participation and involvement of students as this is a key factor in achieving optimal learning outcomes. Therefore, innovations in the learning process to be implemented are necessary. After observing the conditions in class X 3 of SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan, which still showed low levels of learning involvement, the researcher implemented the learning media Wordwall to increase participation, which will ultimately also improve the learning outcomes of the students. The research method used in this study is classroom action research (PTK) which is conducted in 2 cycles, with each cycle consisting of one meeting. The results obtained show that Wordwall has a significant impact on improving student involvement and learning outcomes, which achieved a score of 50% in cycle I and experienced a significant increase in cycle II as much as 83,3%

Abstract

Waqf, as one of the philanthropic instruments in Islam, has great potential to become a sustainable source of educational funding in the modern era. Waqf is not limited to land or buildings; it has also evolved into various forms such as cash waqf and waqf sukuk, which can be used to finance educational institutions. History shows the significant contribution of waqf to the development of education, especially during the Islamic Dynasty. However, challenges in educational funding are increasing as education costs continue to soar. In this context, waqf can serve as an effective alternative solution. Professional and transparent management of waqf is crucial to ensure that the collected funds can be utilized optimally. Additionally, the use of technology in waqf management is a key factor in enhancing efficiency and transparency. This research aims to explore the challenges and opportunities in managing waqf as a source of educational funding in Indonesia.

Abstract

Improving the mathematical ability of elementary school students is important to do as a provision for students in solving problems in everyday life. But in it’s application, it is not uncommon for students to feel less enthusiastic in following learning. By conducting learning using developed learning media, students will feel more enthusiastic in following the learning delivered. The research was conducted on grade III students in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year at SD Islam Plus An-Nur This research uses a development research method with the ADDIE model. The learning media developed is Majamat (mathematics magazine). Majamat (mathematics magazine) is a learning magazine that contains material about the circumference of flat wakes. In it’s development, Majamat (mathematics magazine) received an assessment from validators, namely 90.77% from subject content experts, 98.67% from learning media design experts, and 84.62% from linguists. In addition, Majamat (mathematics magazine) obtained the results of educator responses of 75% and student responses of 95.88%. Majamat (mathematics magazine) also obtained an effectiveness score of 80.53 in improving students' mathematical abilities. So it can be concluded that using Majamat (mathematics magazine) can help improve the mathematical ability of students.

Abstract

The principal plays a crucial role in increasing the quality of education through effective organizational management and professional development of teachers. This study analyzes the strategies implemented by school principals to enhance educational quality, emphasizing the significance of resource management and adapting to external trends such as globalization and technological advancements. Using a literature review methodology, the study collects and synthesizes existing research to highlight the relationship between principal leadership and educational outcomes. The findings indicate that successful principals build strong collaboration with teachers and parents, ensure compliance with national education standards, and implement continuous improvement plans. Additionally, fostering a positive school environment and professional growth for educators are pivotal in achieving educational excellence. Ultimately, effective leadership strategies are essential in navigating challenges and improving the overall quality of education..

Abstract

Students' mathematical communication skills and self-esteem remain low. One learning alternative that can improve students' mathematical communication skills and self-esteem is REACT learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of students' mathematical communication skills through REACT-based contextual learning and to determine the improvement of students' self-esteem through REACT-based contextual learning. The method used in this study was quasi-experimental. The population of this study was class VIII MTs Nurul Iman Tanjung Morawa. The sample in this research was carried out using a purposive sampling technique, namely class VIII-3 as the experimental class and VIII-4 as the control class at MTs Nurul Iman Tanjung Morawa. The research instruments used consisted of a mathematical communication ability test instrument made in the form of a description (pretest-posttest), and a non-test instrument in the form of a self-esteem questionnaire. Data analysis used the t-test on pretest-posttest data via Spss for Windows version 20. From the results of the study of research data, the following conclusions were obtained: 1) the increase in mathematical communication skills of students who received the REACT-based contextual learning model was better than students who received the learning model; 2) The self-esteem of students who use the REACT-based contextual learning model is better than the self-esteem of students who use the contextual learning model
