Abstract

The impact of stock prices on new enterprises, notably Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), in Indonesia is significant. Given the significance of stock prices for MSMEs, engaging in stock price forecasting is crucial. Several stock price forecast-ing models exist, but only a limited number are suitable for predicting stock prices using limited samples, such as the stock prices of MSMEs in Indonesia. The limited sample size is because MSMEs are newly established enterprises accessing stock prices. This study aims to predict MSME stock prices in Indonesia, namely SOUL and TGUK. The forecasting model utilized is ARIMA. The results suggest that the ARIMA (0,1,1) model provides the most precise forecast for the stock price of SOUL MSMEs, while the ARIMA (1,1,2) model yields the most outstanding performance for TGUK. Investors can use the forecast results to identify profit-able investment opportunities or protect their portfolios from po-tential losses. Moreover, companies can employ stock price pre-dictions to evaluate their performance, develop financial plans, and allocate resources.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of nurses' roles and responsibilities on hospital operational efficiency and the provision of quality care, emphasizing patient centred care as a crucial fac-tor. The study was conducted at a Type C private hospital in Jakarta, with data gathered from 208 nurses possessing over one year of experience. The analysis was performed using SmartPLS®4. The findings reveal that enhancing patient safety, employing evidence-based practice, fostering patient centred care, exhibiting positive interpersonal behaviour, and implementing clinical governance significantly improve hospital operational efficiency. Furthermore, cognitive empathy was found to moderate the effects of evidence-based practice and patient-centred care on operational efficiency, exhibiting both positive and negative impacts. The research indicates that hospital operational efficiency strongly affects the quality of care, with higher nurse perceptions being associated with better quality outcomes. The model demonstrated moderate to strong explanatory power and substantial predictive relevance, underscoring its efficacy in elucidating and forecasting quality care delivery through hospital operational efficiency. These findings underscore the necessity of integrating patient centred care and cognitive empathy into nursing practices to enhance hospital efficiency and the quality of care provided.

Abstract

Human resources are an important asset for companies, especially in the manufacturing sector. The manufacturing industry in Batam City contributed 56.83% to the Regional Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2023, significantly impacting unemployment rate by ab-sorbing a large-scale workforce with various skill levels. This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation, job satisfaction, and leadership on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in Batam’s manufacturing industry. A quantitative approach was used in this study, collecting data from employees through ques-tionnaires distributed via Google Forms from October 2023 to March 2024, with a sample size of 410 respondents. The data was analyzed using Smart PLS 3.2.9 software. The result showed that motivation did not significantly influence OCB, while job satisfac-tion and leadership had a significant influence on OCB. Motiva-tion was also found to have a significant influence on job satisfac-tion and leadership. Indirectly, motivation affects OCB through job satisfaction and leadership. Management in Batam’s manufac-turing industry should focus on improving job satisfaction and leadership quality to enhance OCB, considering strategies such as incentives, career development, opportunities, and a supportive work environment. Future research should expand its scope to various industries and locations to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the factors affecting OCB.

Abstract

The growth of the creative economy sector in Indonesia, particularly the music industry, has created a dynamic and competitive environment for musicians in Jakarta. While professional networking is essential for career development, the relationship between musicians’ network usage and career achievement requires further exploration. A qualitative methodology incorporating case studies and thematic analysis was adopted for this study. The study involved a key informant, a professional musician with ten years of experience in Jakarta's music industry. The data gathering process integrated semi-structured interviews alongside social media and document observations. The theoretical framework combined Social Capital Theory and Systems Theory Framework. The study revealed that musicians' career development in Jakarta follows a five-point evolution of social capital: from initial formation relying on bonding capital to portfolio optimization through bridging capital. The interplay among individual, social and environment systems defines key success factors. The research identified three key mechanisms: strategic network formation, collaboration opportunity utilization, and industry dynamics adaptation. Professional networking contributes to career success through reciprocity principles, professional credibility, and adaptive capabilities. The findings demonstrate that successful career development in Jakarta's music industry requires a holistic approach integrating networking strategies with professional growth. The study contributes to understanding how social capital operates in creative industries where boundaries between systems are fluid. These insights are valuable for developing support systems that facilitate inclusive growth in Jakarta's music ecosystem.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of frugal living lifestyle and digital financial inclusion on saving intention among Generation Z in Indonesia. Conceptually, frugal living, which is increasingly popular among Generation Z, refers to a frugal lifestyle that includes wise financial management to achieve long-term goals. Meanwhile, digital financial inclusion reflects easy access to technology-based financial services that can facilitate the saving process. This study uses a quantitative approach with a questionnaire distributed to Generation Z in Indonesia, resulted in 70 respondents. The results of the regression analysis show that frugal living and digital financial inclusion have a positive and significant influence on saving intention, where frugal living has a stronger influence. In addition, it was found that these two factors complement each other in increasing saving intention, because digital access makes it easier to implement a frugal lifestyle. These findings provide implications for banks in Indonesia to develop marketing strategies that promote a frugal lifestyle and provide digital banking services that are responsive to the needs of Generation Z.
