Abstract

Education is a matter of life and living. The whole process in human life and life is the education process itself. Education is so important that Allah sent down the first verse to the Prophet Muhammad SAW, which is an order for humans to read and understand the meaning and purpose of creation, implying the process of divine education (QS 96:1) and basyariah (QS 96:4). This study aims to explore the urgency and paradigm of Islamic education contained in sura al-Alaq; 1-5. The method used in this research is a literature study. The data used were obtained from relevant sources consisting of books, journals and writings. That it is important to read between the lines of this verse, in order to develop basic human potential so that they are able to carry out the mandate to become caliphs on earth and become pious servants. Education that can develop the role of humans as caliph fil ardh is education that refers to the conceptual foundation with the main teachings of aqidah and morals. It is through the basic teachings of aqidah and morals that humans become intelligent, trustworthy, responsible, and have positive values, so they can create a safe and peaceful environment.

Abstract

Pendidikan humanis mengajarkan bagaimana peserta didik sebagai manusia mampu memahami proses pembelajaran secara kritis berlandaskan kerangka filosofis tujuan hidupnya sebagai manusia hal ini pula yang dipertegas oleh Paulo Freire. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep pendidikan humanis menurut Paulo Freire dan bagaimana relevansinya terhadap Al Quran. Dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research), penelitian ini memerlukan dokumen yang cukup banyak seperti buku, artikel, jurnal, dan dokumen lainnya. Adapun sumber data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari dataprimer (data pokok) dan data sekunder (data penunjang atau pendukung). Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa Pendidikan humanis Paulo Freire mempunyai corak kesamaan ide dengan konsep pendidikan Islam secara khusus yaitu pendidikan sebagai wadah untuk mengembangkan potensi peserta didik yang membebaskan. Pendidikan humanis dan pendidikan Qurani, memiliki relevansi dalam orientasi dan proses pendidikan, sama-sama sangat menekankan humanisasi dan pembebasan sebagai orientasi pendidikan, serta menempatkan peserta didik dan pendidik sama-sama sebagai subjek dalam proses belajar mengajar. Perbedaannya adalah bahwa cakupan pendidikan Islam lebih luas dikarenakan mampu mengintegrasikan ilmu agama dan ilmu umum.

Abstract

This paper is based on the results of a study entitled “Study of the Influence of Paramadina Life Value Lecture (NHP) on Student Character and Behavior”. The study was driven by concerns about rising intolerance and radicalism as well as counterproductive tensions between Islam and nationality among young people and students. This condition of course has the potential to threaten the disintegration of people and the nation in general. From the results of descriptive statistical analysis shows that there is a strong correlation and significant influence between NHP lecture learning and the perception and attitude of students towards Islamic and Indonesian values. This research program is designed by conducting training and workshops for a number of students who have strategic and important in the formation of understanding and moderate religious attitudes. Dissemination of the idea of religious moderation is carried out, among others, through training and development of Islamic values that are one breath with national values (Indonesianness) and socialization of moderate religious understanding is one of the long-term deradicalization strategies at the upstream level.

Abstract

Pada era globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat, umat Islam dihadapkan pada berbagai tantangan dan perubahan yang signifikan. Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) sebagai bagian dari kurikulum pendidikan harus memainkan peran yang lebih aktif dalam mengajarkan nilai-nilai moderat dan membangun pemahaman yang inklusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi efektivitas pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam menumbuhkan sikap moderat dalam beragama pada siswa. Pendekatan pembelajaran yang holistik diterapkan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif tentang makna dan pentingnya sikap moderat dalam beragama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif-analitis. Metode deskriptif digunakan untuk menggambarkan definisi sikap moderat dalam beragama dan pentingnya menumbuhkan sikap moderat dalam beragama. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa untuk menumbuhkan sikap moderat dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam, dapat dilakukan dengan menanamkan konsep multi religion, memperkuat kerukunan beragama, dan meningkatkan toleransi di antara siswa. Dengan demikian pembelajaran PAI yang mengintegrasikan pemahaman agama dengan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan sikap moderat siswa. Siswa menjadi lebih terbuka terhadap perbedaan, mampu berdialog dengan pemeluk agama lain, dan menghargai keberagaman dalam masyarakat.

Abstract

Various moral and ethical issues in Generation Z are still significant issues that hinder the progress of a nation's education, with the various characteristics possessed by the current generation, building character education is a very important requirement inIndonesia which really needs to be maintained and developed from Age after age. Departing from that, this research was conducted with the aim of providing an understanding of the application of good character education according to an Islamic perspective in the current era of globalization and rapid technology. This study uses a qualitative approach with observation methods and literature from documents and facts that already existed. The results can be concluded that in the current era of Generation Z it is not only intelligence and (cognitive) skills that can form the next generation of the nation, but with the application of the Islamic Perspective Character Education (Affective) method which is very good to make Generation Z have character according to religious values. and principles that can be realized.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat dampak pendidikan agama Islam pada peningkatan kepribadian anak-anak di Panti Asuhan Alqi Ceria Kota Bogor. Metode campuran (mixed methods) digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif dari 20 peserta pelatihan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam aspek-aspek kepribadian seperti keterbukaan, keteraturan, dan agreeableness. Pembahasan mengungkapkan bahwa faktor-faktor seperti guru, dukungan staf, dan lingkungan yang mendukung berkontribusi pada efektivitas pendidikan agama Islam. Namun, studi ini memiliki batasan, termasuk ukuran sampel yang terbatas dan periode pemantauan yang singkat. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya mencakup studi longitudinal, analisis konteks yang lebih mendalam, dan pengembangan pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam yang lebih spesifik dan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan individu anak-anak di panti asuhan.

Abstract

Character education is an effort or action that is carried out intentionally and planned to help someone so that that person can understand, pay attention to, and implement true ethical values so that he can become a useful individual. One way to shape student character is through inculcating Islamic values in Islamic Cultural History (SKI) subjects. The purpose of this research is that madrasa students can have good character education and uphold Islamic values through learning Islamic Cultural History which has been taught in madrasas. This research uses the method of literature study or library research. The result of this study is that Islamic cultivation to shape student character can be done through Islamic Cultural History (SKI) subjects because the material in this subject is very complex including the history of past events where we can emulate the attitude of role models in the present.

Abstract

SKI learning in madrasas involves various social contexts and goes beyond just the transfer of historical knowledge. Religious moderation is an important outcome of religious education in Indonesia, and primary and secondary education are prerequisitesfor continuing to higher education. In this context, educational institutions have an important role in instilling and implementing the values of religious moderation. This study aims to describe the urgency of the value of religious moderation in learning Islamic Cultural History (SKI) at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). The method used in this study is a literature review by accessing various relevant sources through Google Scholar with a minimum of 5 years published reference articles. The results of the study show that religious moderation is a balanced religious attitude between exclusive religious practices and respect for other people's religious practices. Religious moderation is the key to creating tolerance and harmony in society. SKI learning at MI can be a means to develop religious moderation values in students. By incorporating religious moderation in SKI learning, it is hoped that students can treat each other with respect, accept differences, and live in peace and harmony.

Abstract

Educational games are a form of creativity that teachers must have a during like pandemic today. The prolonged pandemic period makes the learning process unable to run normally as usual. Along with the times and technological advances, learning models are created that are able to support learning in order to adapt to the pandemic so that learning can tun smoothlyand have a good impact on student learning an outcomes in PAI subjects. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation educational games in the hybrid learning model, to find out the supporting factors causing the lack of interest in PAI subjects, and the role of educational in PAI learning outcomes. The research method is qualitative with a case study approach, this research wa carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Bogor City for seventh grade students. The primary data sources in this study were PAI teacher and seventh grade students. Data collection techniques observation, interviews, and documentation were than validated by triangulation of sources. Data analysis through the stages of data collection, data reduction and drawing conclusions. The result of this study state that educational games have many roles in the hybrid learning model, one of which is to improve students PAI learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the learning outcomes of PAI students increase and achieve completeness.

Abstract

Al-Attas revealed that the challenge of this century is the degradation of knowledge so that humans can no longer distinguish between truth and falsehood (the loss of civilization). The science that is falsified or used as tools and materials of indoctrination for the benefit of personal passions, is precisely by the scientists themselves. The core issue lies not in the illiteracy or ignorance of the general population but rather in the misinterpretation of science or the disorder in scientific understanding resulting from the emulation of the Western perspective, which significantly differs from the Islamic worldview. This research analyzes the educational concept of Syed Naquib Al-Attas. As a result, there are three magnificent concepts from al-Attas's thought which subsequently known as the concept of Islamization of science, i.e: semantic analysis – linguistics which is used as a strong argument to support opinions, mastery of Islamic and Western treasures, and wisdom in seeing the ulama and Islam of the Malays.
