Abstract

This study discusses the Japanese concept of Ikigai and its relationship with subjective well-being. The concept of Ikigai has five main aspects, namely starting small, freeing yourself, harmony and continuity, joy from small things, and being present in the present place and time. This research uses qualitative methods and analyzes the content of "The Book of Ikigai" to support its findings. The results show that the concept of Ikigai can be a foundation for individuals to achieve subjective well-being in daily life. By understanding and applying the principles of Ikigai, individuals can increase self-awareness, seek harmony, find joy from small things, and be present in the present place and time, all of which can contribute to the improvement of subjective well-being. The articles also cover various aspects of the Ikigai concept, including its effects on well-being, stress management, and performance, as well as its applications in the context of education and career choices. Some articles also explore the relationship between Ikigai and subjective well-being in various populations.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the performance of guidance and counseling teachers at SMKN 1 Cikarang Utara in the 2023/2024 academic year. This research uses a type of qualitative research with a case study design with a focus on developing an in-depth analysis of the performance of guidance and counseling teachers. Data collection techniques using observation of the environment of SMKN 1 Cikarang Utara, interviews with the head of bk coordination and 3 guidance and counseling teachers and documentation in the form of photos and collection of supporting data. Data validity techniques use validity and credibility tests by triangulation as reinforcement and supporting data. The results showed that the implementation of the classical guidance  program carried out went well in accordance with the objectives to be achieved. There is a change for the better in achieving service goals before and after being given a classical guidance program. These changes were accepted by several students. Changes that occur include changes in behavior, mindset, insight and knowledge.

Abstract

The diverse learning behavior of students certainly affects the success rate obtained. Good learning behavior can be realized if students are aware of their responsibilities as a student. When students are motivated to learn, it often stops at the cognitive level, so when it comes to concrete action, the student often does the opposite. That is, students tend to postpone what is usually done at that time for various reasons so that the time they have is not managed properly. A behavior that is carried out repeatedly deliberately in starting and completing tasks related to the academic field and can be seen as a habit that causes discomfort, this phenomenon is called academic procrastination. 21 out of 33 grade X students of SMK Sunan Ampel experienced a high level of procrastination. The study aims to determine the effect of group counseling with reframing techniques on the academic procrastination of grade X students of SMK Sunan Ampel. Research is a type of quantitative research using the experimental method of one group pre-test pos-test design. The sample used in the study was 6 students who had a high level of academic procracination based on questionnaires. In research using questionnaires as a data collection method and data was analyzed using the SPSS application with the paired samples test formula. The results showed that there was an influence of group counseling with reframing techniques on the academic procrastination of grade X students of SMK Sunan Ampel.

Abstract

Self-confidence in determining one's career is something that often happens and is commonly discussed. Self-confidence is the ability to convince oneself of one's own abilities or the ability to develop positive values, either for oneself or for others. One of the teenage problems that often arise at this time is one related to career determination. Career determination is also influenced by whether or not a person's level of self-confidence is high. This study aims to look at the effect of peer relationships on self-confidence. The role of peers is to provide input in the form of instructions, reprimands, and directions. This study also aims to see the results of the application of peer guidance models to increase self-confidence using problem-solving techniques in determining student careers at MAS Hidayatul Insan Fi Ta'limiddin. This research is a combination of quantitative and qualitative (mixed methods). Qualitative data was obtained from interviews and observations, while quantitative data was obtained from questionnaires. From the results of the first questionnaire (pre-test), it can be seen that there are still many students who do not have a strong level of self-confidence and have not been able to determine their career planning. Furthermore, peer guidance is carried out in order to increase self-confidence and career determination. Based on the results (post-test) about self-confidence in determining students' careers that have been carried out, the results show that the majority have understood the guidance model that has been applied. So the results showed that based on the questionnaire that had been obtained, it was found that there was a low level of confidence in determining a career and experienced a significant increase in self-confidence after being given counseling guidance services in the form of treatment.

Abstract

The first step in the preparation stage of guidance and counseling program planning is to conduct a needs assessment. Needs assessment is an activity that aims to find the real conditions of students which will be used as the basis for planning guidance and counseling programs. One way to conduct a needs assessment is by distributing AKPD (Angket Kebutuhan Peserta Didik). The purpose of this study is to determine the needs of students in the personal, social, career and learning fields that can be used as a basis for developing guidance and counseling programs in schools so that the programs developed are in accordance with the needs of students. The research subjects used in this study were class X students at one of the State Senior High Schools in Cibinong, Bogor as many as 250 people. Data collection for this study used AKPD (Angket Kebutuhan Peserta Didik) consisting of 50 statement items describing personal, social, career, and learning areas which were entered into Google Form and then filled in by respondents. Based on the results of the study, the personal field was the aspect most chosen by respondents at 45.92% while the career field was the aspect least chosen by respondents at 11.73%. The results of this needs assessment are very helpful for counseling teachers to find out the needs of students to get guidance and counseling services, both counseling services provided individually.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the challenges faced in implementing Guidance and Counseling (GC) services in Indonesia and to explain 15 misconceptions held by students regarding the role of GC. Despite the important role GC plays in helping students develop their potential and plan for the future, challenges such as inadequate facilities, low collaboration among teachers, and a limited understanding of GC functions remain obstacles. This study utilizes qualitative data analysis with a systematic literature review approach to examine these issues. The findings indicate that, in addition to facility limitations, there is a need to enhance the competencies of GC teachers, intensify teacher collaboration, and increase the socialization of the GC role in schools. Moreover, the active involvement of school principals is deemed essential to improve the effectiveness of GC services. The research concludes that improving facilities, enhancing GC teacher competencies, strengthening teacher collaboration, and gaining support from the school administration are necessary for GC services to contribute optimally to students' development. Recommendations from this study include continuous training for GC teachers and increased efforts to raise awareness about the role of GC in schools across Indonesia.

Abstract

The phenomenon at SMP Negeri 19 Jambi City is that there are students who lack discipline which can hinder their learning process. The aim of this research is to reveal the influence of short films in information services to improve student disciplinary behavior.This research uses a Quasi Experimental Design type or quasi-experimental research using Pretest Posttest one Group Design. The population in this study was 245 class VIII students. The sample in this study was 31 students taken using purposive sampling technique. The instruments or data collection tools used were interviews, observations and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using percentage calculations with formula C, normality test, and t- test.The results of this research show that the disciplined learning behavior for the pretest was 3997 and for the posttest it was 4664. Based on the results of the t-test calculations, the T count was 9.416. The value of Ttable is 2.045 with a Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.000 ie. It can be seen that Tcount > Ttable so that the hypothesis is stated that there is a difference between pretest and posttest (before and after treatment is given). Based on the results of the treatment, it was stated that H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence of short films in information services to improve student disciplinary behavior.

Abstract

In general, academic stress can be said as stress that comes from academic activities, academic stress has a variety of negative impacts, such as decreased academic achievement, procrastination, health problems, sleep disorders (insomnia), smartphone addiction, suicide and others. According to the theory (Heiman & Kariv, 2005) Stress is caused by certain things, one of which is stress that occurs in students, namely stress that comes from within the individual, such as physical conditions, motivation, and the type of personality of the student himself, while those that come from outside the individual, such as family, work, facilities, environment, lecturers, and others. Researchers found problems related to the identification of academic stressors in third-year students, there are students who are burdened because of too many exams, students get an excessive load of lecture assignments, declining academic achievement, there are students who are unable to manage lecture time and organizations on campus. The purpose of this study was to identify academic stressors in third-year students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Jambi University. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. Discussing the identification of academic stressors, this involved several students who became sources with the criteria of feeling stress about the world of lectures, which can be concluded that the cause of stress symptoms is felt because of the many demands of lecture assignments, fear of failure, overthinking with lectures, and ultimately can cause academic stress in students.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the condition of IKIP PGRI Pontianak employees in dealing with work stress. The type and form of this research is descriptive research in the form of action research. The data source is employees of IKIP PGRI Pontianak. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis. Based on the research results, it was concluded that coping skills based on the inquiry discovery method to reduce employee work stress can be applied well. The impact of implementing the coping skills model based on the inquiry discovery method to reduce work stress in employees is the emergence of employees' ability to overcome anxiety, boredom, low self-confidence, loss of concentration, low self-esteem and anxiety in the work environment

Abstract

Masalah Gizi terutama stunting masih menjadi isu prioritas nasional karena dampak terhadap kualitas generasi yang akan datang. Kota Jakarta Selatan merupakan kota megapolitan dimana akses pelayanan kesehatan, akses ketersediaan pangan yang mudah dan tingkat pendapatan yang berada pada kelompok masyarakat dari golongan menengah sebesar 40 % dengan kategori kesejahteraan sosial yang sudah lebih baik. Persentase penduduk miskin di Kota Jakarta Selatan di tahun 2021 sebesar 3,56%, akan tetapi ternyata masih banyak terjadi kasus balita stunting di Jakarta Selatan. Berdasarkan hasil Grebek Stunting Jakarta Selatan tahun 2022 didapatkan jumlah balita stunting sebanyak 649 balita. Tujuan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor determinan yang berhubungan dan yang paling dominan dengan kejadian stunting pada anak usia 0-59 bulan di Jakarta Selatan. Metode penelitian observasional analitik dengan desain Cross Sectional Study. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh yaitu dengan jumlah sampel 1185 balita stunting dan tidak stunting menggunakan data sekunder dari kegiatan Grebek Stunting Jakarta Selatan tahun 2022 dengan analisis uji chi square dan uji regresi logistik ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel riwayat panjang lahir balita, status ekonomi, tingkat kecukupan energi, protein, lemak, dan  karbohidrat, pengetahuan ibu tentang cara pengolahan makanan yang baik dan perilaku Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun (CTPS) memiliki hubungan yang bermakna dengan kejadian stunting (P-value≤0,05). Variabel yang paling dominan terhadap kejadian stunting pada balita usia 0-59 bulan di Jakarta Selatan adalah Riwayat Panjang Badan Lahir Balita dengan nilai OR = 2,211, artinya balita yang memiliki riwayat panjang badan lahir kurang berpeluang 2,2 kali lebih besar untuk mengalami stunting. Kondisi panjang badan saat lahir berpengaruh terhadap resiko stunting pada balita, hal ini juga berkaitan dengan kondisi ibu saat hamil. Semakin baik kondisi kesehatan dan status gizi saat ibu hamil akan mengurangi resiko stunting pada balita.
