Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk multimedia pembelajaran teknik dasar sikap berdiri dan teknik dasar kuda-kuda berbasis website berorientasi project based learning pada mata kuliah teori dan praktik pembelajaran pencak silat. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Borg & Gall yang terdiri dari 10 tahapan yaitu, 1) Penelitian awal dan pengumpulan data; 2) Perencanaan; 3) Pengembangan draf produk; 4) Uji coba lapangan awal; 5) Revisi hasil uji coba; 6) Uji coba lapangan utama; 7) Revisi produk; 8) Uji coba lapangan skala luas/uji kelayakan; 9) Revisi produk akhir; 10) Diseminasi dan implementasi, namun dibatasi sampai tahapan ke 9 dikarenakan keterbatasan waktu dan biaya. Desain penelitian meliputi uji validitas ahli, uji coba produk, dan uji kepraktisan, dengan subjek penelitian yang melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa Penjaskesrek FOK Undiksha. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari uji ahli isi mendapatkan skor 95% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, uji ahli media mendapatkan skor 96% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, uji ahli desain pembelajaran mendapatkan skor 90% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, uji coba perorangan mendapatkan skor 90% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, uji coba kelompok kecil mendapatkan skor 90,9% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, uji coba kelompok besar mendapatkan skor 92,2% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, dan uji kepraktisan mendapatkan skor 92,4% dengan kualifikasi sangat praktis. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran dinyatakan layak sebagai media pembelajaran pencak silat materi teknik dasar sikap berdiri dan teknik dasar kuda-kuda.

Abstract

Wayang kulit is one of the local wisdom of the community that contains good values ​​to develop the character of the younger generation. This study aims to increase the love of the homeland by utilizing the story of the Petruk Dadi Ratu wayang kulit as a learning medium and increasing students' learning motivation with more efficient delivery. The approach used in this study is descriptive qualitative, taking the research location at SMP Santo Paulus Singaraja, the research subjects were determined through snowball sampling techniques, data collection using observation techniques, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires, and the data analysis technique using interactive model data analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results obtained from this study are (1) implementing an attitude of love for the homeland through flag ceremonies, singing mandatory songs, commemorating national days, displaying the national symbol, and mid-semester breaks, (2) the values ​​contained in the Petruk Dadi Ratu shadow puppet story include two indicators, namely, preserving the arts and culture of the homeland, and instilling nationalism of unity and togetherness, (3) The results of the attitudes shown by students after watching the Petruk Dadi Ratu shadow puppet story are that there is an increase in love for the homeland, although not very significant, this is based on habits that students have done previously.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) to develop the character of mutual cooperation and creativity in grade XII students at SMAN 1 Bebandem. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. This study also uses field research methods, as well as data collection techniques carried out in this study including observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study are the principal, vice principal for curriculum, project coordinator, project assistant, and grade XII students. The results of this study show that P5 activities have been successful in developing the character of mutual cooperation and creativity in grade XII students at SMAN 1 Bebandem. The theme of the implementation of P5 by class XII is Bhineka Tunggal Ika and Engineering and Technology which consists of mutual cooperation activities to clean the sacred place area and create simple appropriate technology products. In its implementation, class XII gets a time allocation of 6 JP per week. Where 1 JP = 45 minutes.

Abstract

Self-confidence is a fundamental element in supporting the growth and development of blind students. Without self-confidence, the learning process of blind students can be disrupted, social relationships are limited, and the development of independence is hampered. To create an inclusive and empowering learning environment, efforts to increase the self-confidence of blind students must be a priority. One of the counseling approaches that can be used to increase self-confidence is Behavioral counseling with reinforcement techniques. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of Behavioral counseling with reinforcement techniques to increase self-confidence in blind students. The design of this study was a one group pretest-posttest design with a population of seven blind students at SLB Negeri 1 Bangli, the technique used in sampling was purposive sampling. Due to the limited sample, the statistical test used was the Wilcoxon test with α = 5%. H0 is rejected if the statistical test <Wilcoxon Table, H0 is accepted if the statistical test ≥ Wilcoxon Table. Based on the test analysis, the value of 0 <2 was obtained, so it can be concluded that the Behavioral counseling approach with reinforcement techniques is effective in increasing the self-confidence of blind students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop multimedia learning of basic avoidance techniques and basic catch techniques based on project-based learning-oriented websites in the theory and practice of pencak silat learning courses. The type of research used is a type of development research with a development model from Borg & Gall which consists of 1) research and data collection, 2) planning, 3) product draft development, 4) initial field trial, 5) revision of trial results, 6) main product field trial, 7) product revision, 8) wide-scale field trial/feasibility test, 9) final product revision, for the 10th stage, namely dissemination and implementation are not carried out due to time and cost limitations. The subjects in this study were FOK students. The instrument used was a 5 scale with quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study, the learning multimedia design consists of a home menu, learning objectives menu, learning guidelines, learning activities (consisting of determining projects, project planning, preparing implementation schedules, implementing projects with educator guidance), project collection, evaluation, material summary, profile. The validity test of learning multimedia is obtained from the results of the material expert test getting a score of 95%, media expert test 96%, learning design expert test 90%, individual trial 92.5%, small group trial 93.4%, large group trial 96.1%, and practicality test 97.3%. It can be concluded that the design of this learning multimedia consists of a home menu, learning objectives, learning instructions, learning activities, task collection, evaluation, summary and profile. The validity test of learning multimedia obtained very feasible results. The practicality test obtained very practical results. Thus, learning multimedia is declared feasible for use in the pencak silat learning process.

Abstract

This study focused on improving students’ speaking skill of 7th grade students at SMPN 14 Denpasar. In improving students’ speaking skill, the researcher conducted Classroom Action Research that consists of four stages, which are planning, action, observation, and evaluation. The preliminary observation had done in SMPN 14 Denpasar. The data was collected through reviewing students’ speaking score, observation, and conducting questionnaire. After collecting the data, the research began following stages in CAR method. The research conducted for two cycles. The research question was answered quantitatively and qualitatively. Based on the result of data analysis, it was found that the average of students’ speaking score improved from 79.5 (Pre-test) to 83.7 (Cycle 1) and 90.2 (Cycle 2). Students that passed the standard minimum passing grade also improved from 3 students (Pre-test) to 9 students (Cycle 1) and 24 students (Cycle 2). It means 87% students passed the standard minimum passing grade in Cycle 2. From the supporting data collected through questionnaire,  it is found that role play method boost their confidences, understanding the context, and improving students’ vocabulary. In conclusion, the role play method sucessfully improve students’s speaking skill.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how deaf and hard-of-hearing restaurant staff in the Lovina area of Bali explain English-language restaurant menus using local sign language when communicating with international customers. Additionally, the research explores how staff communicate about items not listed on the menu. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, involving direct observation and in-depth interviews with deaf and hard-of-hearing staff at restaurants in Lovina The findings indicate that the staff utilize local sign language to effectively convey menu information to international customers. In instances where menu items are not available, they employ a combination of gestures, written notes, and translation applications to facilitate communication. This research highlights the importance of training in international sign language and the development of visual aids to enhance interactions between deaf and hard-of-hearing staff and international customers in the hospitality sector.
