The study used time series observation data from various sources including FAOSTAT and Trade Map which ranged from 2012 to 2021. The analysis method in the research is using descriptive analysis, Revealed Comparative Advantage analysis, and Trade Specialization Index analysis. The result of the research is that Indonesian bananas have a lower export value compared to the Philippines, Malaysia and Vietnam. The Philippines is comparatively superior in banana exports to the ASEAN market, while Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam have lower comparative competitiveness. The role in banana trade in the ASEAN market varies between countries. In banana trade, Indonesia and the Philippines are competitively superior countries with strong exporter values, while Malaysia and Vietnam are not competitively superior as they experience fluctuating values.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of hanjeli farmers in Waluran Mandiri Village, Waluran Subdistrict, to determine the feasibility of hanjeli farming in Waluran Mandiri Village, Waluran Subdistrict, and to determine the agroindustry of processed hanjeli in Hanjeli Tourism Village, Waluran Mandiri Village, Waluran Subdistrict. The analysis method used in this research is Descriptive Analysis and Quantitative Analysis. Agro-industry made from hanjeli plants is part of the production of the Hanjeli Tourism Village in Waluran Mandiri Village, Waluaran District, which is managed by KWT Mekar Mandiri. The main ingredients for processed agro-industry use all types of hanjeli plants. The products produced from this hanjeli plant can be consumed and cannot be consumed. The types that can be consumed are glutinous hanjeli and hanjeli batok, which are usually processed into foods such as rengginang, sponge cake, supplements, porridge and several other types. For stone type hanjeli plants, they are usually used as accessories such as necklaces, prayer beads bracelets, and key chains. The results obtained from research with an average land area of 0.521 ha resulted in hanjeli farming income of Rp.768,037 with receipts of Rp.3,408,000 and resulted in total costs of Rp. 2,639,963 during one planting production cycle (6 months). The amount of R / C on hanjeli crop farming is 1.29.

Abstract

Mina padi farming is an innovative farming, namely the cultivation of fish and rice in paddy fields simultaneously. Limitations of farmers in obtaining factors of production require farmers to use factors of production efficiently. Therefore it is necessary to optimize to determine the optimal combination of production factors so that farmers get the maximum profit. This study aims to calculate the profits of mina padi farming, analyze the combination of the optimal use of production factors for mina padi farming, analyze the differences in the profits of mina padi farming in the first growing season with mina padi farming in the second growing season. Sampling using simple random sampling method. The analytical method uses profit analysis, optimization analysis, and different test. The profit of mina padi farming in the first planting season is Rp6,115,340.00 and in the second planting season is Rp6,487,589.00. The optimization model estimation result showed that the use of farming resource was not yet optimal. The use of production factors is not optimal as indicated by the excessive use of inputs such as capital, land, rice seeds, urea fertilizer, feed, and labor in the first growing season and the use of capital, land, ponska fertilizer, urea fertilizer, feed, and labor in the second growing season. There is a significant difference between the profits of mina padi farmers in the first growing season and the profits of mina padi farmers in the second growing season.

Abstract

Public health is essential for the resilience of Indonesian society, especially for future generations, and meeting nutritional needs. Rice (paddy), a staple food for Indonesians, plays a crucial role in human health. Ensuring its safety and nutritional value requires attention to the entire production process, from seed selection, cultivation, and plant maintenance to harvest and post-harvest handling. Given the high prevalence of malnutrition and stunting, the government has initiated programs to address these issues. In 2019, the Ministry of Agriculture introduced Inpari IR Nutri Zinc, a new rice variety rich in iron and zinc, to combat these problems. The research aimed to (1) determine the feasibility of farming this variety and (2) assess the efficiency of production factor usage in Nutrizinc Inpari 48 rice farming. This quantitative study, with a descriptive approach, was conducted through a survey, intentionally selecting the "NGUDI MAKMUR" farmer group in Balerejo Village, Kauman District, Tulungagung Regency, which implements the Nutrizinc Inpari 48 rice planting program. A census method was used to sample 30 farmers. Data analysis involved (1) Feasibility Analysis: R/C Ratio and (2) Hypothesis Testing. The results concluded that Nutrizinc Inpari 48 rice farming is feasible in using production factors such as fertilizers, pesticides, and labor. This study highlights the importance of targeted agricultural interventions in improving public health through enhanced nutritional intake.

Abstract

This article shows identification about the intrinsic and extrinsic factors that influence the work motivation of supervisors (plant foremen and plant clerks) at PT. FAP AGRI, North Kalimantan. The decline in supervisor motivation at the company has caused issues such as unkempt and undisciplined appearances, as well as an increased resignation rate. This study aims to provide a basis for consideration for the company in making policies to improve the performance of supervisors at PT. FAP AGRI. Data was collected using a census method on 109 supervisors who are training center (TC) graduates and still employed at PT. FAP AGRI. Data collection was conducted using a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling – Partial Least Square (SEM–PLS). The results of the study indicate that the intrinsic factors significantly influencing work motivation include self-perception, self-esteem, personal expectations, and personal needs. The extrinsic factors that influence include the type and nature of the work, work groups, work environment, and salary. The analysis shows that extrinsic factors have a greater influence compared to intrinsic factors on supervisor work motivation. This study provides recommendations for PT. FAP AGRI to focus on enhancing extrinsic factors to improve the work motivation and performance of supervisors
