Abstract

This research aims to describe students' critical thinking abilities. Critical thinking skills are very necessary in accordance with educational goals and in improving the quality of human resources (HR). This type of research is descriptive research with the data analysis used is a literature review. A review was carried out on 10 journals that studied students' critical thinking abilities. Based on the analysis carried out, it was concluded that critical thinking skills must be possessed by every student. This ability can occur with collaboration between students and teachers, where a teacher must have expertise in creating dynamic problems so that students can be stimulated to solve the problems given and create very creative ideas. This critical thinking ability can certainly be the basis for creating human resources who are critical and creative and have high competitiveness.

Abstract

Keripik Rumah Adat Minang is a company of snack food where producing packaged sweet potato chips under the brand of rumah adat minang. The distribution of chips is hampered because the number of consumer request in various cities is higher than the amount of capacity in the warehouse, resulting in the distribution process often delays and having to be done repeatedly so that make the distribution costs become large. Plus now, many roads have been closed so that the distribution routes that are traversed are getting farther away, so its certain that the company incurs huge costs for the distribution of chips. The purpose of this research is to apply the north west corner method as an initial solution for allocating how many chips are produced, to apply the stepping stone method as the final solution in minimizing the cost of distributing chips and to help companies minimize the cost of distributing chips. Both methods can solve problems in the distribution of chips from both warehouses to various destination cities. The results showed that the cost optimization obtained by using the north west corner method was Rp. 146,556,705 which succeeded in reducing as much as Rp. 30,579,886 from the initial cost of transportation of Rp 171,555,522 but it was not optimal, so 4 more iterations were carried out using the advanced method, namely the stepping stone method. Thus the cost of transportation distribution is optimal by generating a cost value of Rp. 146,075,000.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the distinguishing power of the multiple-choice form test items of class XI trigonometric equation material at SMA Mujahidin Pontianak. The object analyzed is 40 items of multiple-choice questions of trigonometric equation material. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The data collection method is a documentation method and the data obtained in the form of secondary data is then analyzed using a classical test theory approach. The results of the analysis showed that as many as 7 questions or 20.59% had bad distinguishing power criteria, 16 questions or 47.06% had sufficient discriminating power, 10 questions or 29.41% had good discriminating power criteria, 1 question or 2.94% had bad discriminating power, and no questions or as many as 0% had very good discriminating power. From the overall data, it can be concluded that the test items have a differentiating power that meets the feasible criteria because most of the questions have sufficient criteria.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar materi persamaan kuadrat berbasis Quizizz terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dan mengetahui kualitas baan ajar dilihat dari aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Desin, Developmen, dessiminate). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 14 siswa kelas X SMK Swasta Yapim Taruna. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah angket, tes, dan dokumentasi .Instrument yang digunakan diantaranya 1) lembar angket berupa angket validasi oleh ahli untuk melihat kevalidan produk dan angket repon siswa untuk melihat kepraktisan produk serta 2) lembar tes keefektifan produk yang dikembangkan. Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli media, ahli materi dan ahli bahasa yang kemudian dilakukan uji coba produk dengan melihat respon penggunaan produk dan hasil tes siswa berdasarkan kemampuan berpikit kreatif matematis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diperoleh kevalidan produk dengan rata-rata persentase 86% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”, kepraktisan produk dengan rata-rata persentase 89% dengan kategori “Sangat Praktis” dan keefektifan produk dengan rata-rata persentase 83% dengan kategori “ Sangat Efektif”.

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dilakukan dengan tujuan meningkatkan keterampilan membaca Al-Qur’an siswa kelas VII di SMPIT Abdan Syakuro melalui penerapan metode Al Muyassar. Metode ini dipilih karena kemudahannya dalam mengajarkan tajwid dan kefasihan membaca Al-Qur’an, yang sesuai untuk siswa pada tahap awal pembelajaran. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua periode siklus, di mana setiap siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas VII berjumlah 25 orang siswa. Hasil penelitian menemukan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman dan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an. Pada siklus pertama, hanya 50% siswa yang mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal, namun setelah siklus kedua, persentase tersebut meningkat menjadi 80%. Hal ini menunjukkan efektivitas metode Al Muyassar dalam membantu siswa memahami prinsip-prinsip tajwid dan meningkatkan kefasihan membaca Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze mathematics learning outcomes in the Independent Curriculum at the Elementary School (SD) and Junior High School (SMP) levels. The Merdeka Curriculum implemented in Indonesia emphasizes learning flexibility, giving schools and teachers the freedom to develop materials according to students' needs. The research method used is a literature review by collecting articles related to mathematics learning outcomes in the independent curriculum. There are 8 articles which are the main reference in this preparation. The research results show that the application of the Merdeka Curriculum in mathematics subjects has a positive impact on student learning outcomes. At the elementary level, student learning outcomes with semester average scores in the Merdeka curriculum are better than in the 2013 curriculum. Not only that, critical reasoning abilities and problem solving abilities also emerge. Meanwhile, at the junior high school level, the use of PPT, learning videos, developing LKPD, and learning models can support students' learning outcomes and mathematical abilities.

Abstract

Geometry learning can train students in analyzing the characteristics of geometric shapes and making mathematical arguments regarding visualization, spatial reasoning and geometric modeling in problem solving. Several studies show that students experience difficulties and make mistakes in solving geometry problems. The errors and difficulties experienced by students indicate the occurrence of epistemological learning barriers. This research aims to analyze the epistemological type of learning obstacle in learning angles in basic geometry material in junior high school. This research method is a qualitative type with a Didactical Design Research model approach through retrospective analysis. This research states that students experience epistemological learning obstacles in the three types of epistemological concept, epistemological procedure and epistemological operational technique.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the discovery learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Marancar, Algebra Operations Material. This type of research is quasi-experimental research. The research population was all students of class VIII odd semester of SMP Negeri 1 Marancar TP. 2023/2024 which consists of 2 classrooms totaling 42 class VIII students. The control class is class VIII-1 and the experimental class is class VIII-2. The normality test value for the control class is 0.038˃0.05, meaning it is normally distributed. Then for the experimental (treatment) class, the calculated L value was 0.392 ˃ 0.05, meaning it was normally distributed. So it can be concluded that the data distribution in this study is normally distributed. Meanwhile, the homogeneity result is a significance value of 0.209˃0.05. This means that it can be concluded that the data distribution for the control class and experimental class has homogeneous data conditions. Furthermore, the tests carried out showed that there was an influence of the discovery learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Marancar. Based on this table, the Sig value can be seen. (2-Tailed) is 0.894˃ of 0.05. So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is an influence of the discovery learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Marancar. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal matematika. Salah satu penyebab rendahnya kemampuan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa karna kurang di biasakan dengan masalah-masalah terbuka yang melibatkan logika dan insting siswa. siswa hanya mendapatkan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut sebaiknya guru menggunakan model pembelajaran yang sesuai, oleh karena itu peniliti menggunakan model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching. Peneliti ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa kelas XI MAS NU SIBUHUAN setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran reciprocal teachingdan juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching dalam meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa kelas MAS NU Sibuhuan kelas XI MAS NU Sibuhuan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain “the Posttest Only Control Design”. Penelitian ini ada dua kelompok sampel yaitu kelas eksperimen dengan model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching dan kelas kontrol dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis mengunakan uji mann whitney. Dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa berdasarkan kriteria pengujian hipotesis dengan taraf signifikan 0.05, diperoleh signifikan 0,000 < 0,05 maka H0 diterima. Jadi ada pengaruh model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching dalam meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa kelas XI MAS NU Sibuhuan T.A 2023/2024. Abstract

The aim of this research and development is to determine the quality of Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) with an ethnomathematics approach as teaching materials that are suitable for use. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with a research model referring to the development of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects of this research are 7th grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Watukebo with a total of 121 participants/students (pilih salah satu aja). Three types of questionnaires were used in this research, such as; validation questionnaire sheet, teacher’s response questionnaire as the practicality assessment, and student’s response questionnaire as the effectiveness assessment for the LKPD. Results of the data analysis are (1) validation score from two validators on developed LKPD obtained an average score of 3.85 which categorized as valid, (2) the practicality score of two teachers on developed LKDP obtained a mean score of 4.75 which categorized as highly practical, (3) effectiveness score from the learners on developed LKPD obtained an average of 4.551 which categorized as highly effective. Thus, the Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) with an ethnomathematics approach in line and angle material is suitable for use.
