Abstract

This research aims to determine the form or mathematical concept of the ornaments found on the Close Ari of the South Tapanuli Regent's Office Building. The decoration on the lid is one of the Mandailing cultural traditions that must be preserved because it contains its own meaning and significance in each form. We can find these ornaments in various areas in South Tapanuli, one of which is in South Tapanuli, specifically in the South Tapanuli Regent's Office Building. The decoration on the lid of the can is used as a medium for teaching mathematics in schools so that learning mathematics at school can begin by introducing local customs and culture. This article explores the mathematical ideas contained in the ornaments covering the South Tapanuli Regent's Office building. The discussion is descriptive, providing a detailed description of the ornaments. The results of the exploration and analysis of these ornaments found that there were mathematical concepts in the form of flat geometric shapes such as triangles, trapezoids, parallelograms, rhombuses, squares and rectangles. Population in study This is all over student class VII SMP Negeri 1 Batang Onang Kabupaten Padang Lawas Utara. And sample in study This 32 student For every class use Clusters Random Sampling . Use Model learning cooperative type Problem Based Learning (PBL) give influence significant to trust self And results Study student mathematics. The level of student confidence after using problem based learning from 32.94 become 84.16 And results Study mathematics student as big as 63.75 And after application model learning mark average become 87.34. Got it influence Which significant between application Problem Based Learning to trust self And results Study mathematics student in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Batang Onang Kabupaten Padang Lawas Utara. Class with apply model learning type Problem Based Learning to trust self And results Study student give influence significance. This showed results questionnaire with mark sig < 0.05 that is 0.01 < 0.05 And t count > t table ie 3,343 > 2.04. As well as mark results test with mark sig < 0.05 that is 0.00 < 0.05 And t count > t table ie 4,077 > 2.04, It means there is influence Which significant between application Problem Based Learning (PBL) to trust self student and result Study student. Abstract

This research is quantitative research form design quasi experiment Which used control class and experimental class. The experimental class applies PBL and Expository models in the learning process with SPLTV material. The population in this study were all class X students at MAN Tapsel. The sample in this study was 20 students for each control class and experimental class using a non-probability sampling design with purposive sampling type . Using the PBL type cooperative learning model, the average student score was 58.66 to 82.16. For the Expository type cooperative learning model, the student average was 58.16 and was 81.84. Meanwhile, in the control class, the pre-test score was 58.5 and the post-test score was 70.34. In the ANOVA test, the sig value < 0.05, namely 0.006 < 0.05 and the calculated F value > F table , namely 5.694 > 3.59. It can be concluded that these three methods equally influence students' mathematics learning outcomes. From the activities, the best was the class that used the PBL model , namely 82.16, followed by the class that applied Expository with an average of 81.99. Abstract

This research uses methodological tools with a descriptive qualitative approach based on the phenomenological paradigm through supporting instruments (interviews, observations, documentation) which allows objective data to be brought to the surface. The results of this research show that: (1) The pattern of organizing mathematics learning carried out at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Mursyid is by establishing a clear and measurable curriculum that is formed together with all education stakeholders in the madrasah environment. (2) The pattern of delivery of mathematics learning carried out at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Mursyid. First; Darul Mursyid highly upholds the principles of creativity and effectiveness in student learning. Second; Learning media is directed to use more varied and innovative models. Third; Learning in KBM classes or Olympiads must use interactive and dynamic learning methods. (3) The management pattern for mathematics learning carried out at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Mursyid is prepared jointly by all madrasah and Islamic boarding school stakeholders. Starting from preparing the curriculum structure to assigning teachers to fields of study and determining study hours for a particular curriculum content. Requires teachers to keep journals and records of student progress in their field of study and evaluate them periodically by the madrasah. (4) The results of applying mathematics learning patterns in improving science olympiad achievements at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Mursyid show that the achievements achieved by students in various science olympiad events have succeeded in winning champions each year, especially overall champions. Abstract

Pendahuluan: Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir kemandirian siswa dalam belajar mendapat perhatian yang signifikan dalam penelitian pendidikan. Kemandirian siswa mengacu pada kemampuan siswa untuk mengambil kepemilikan atas pembelajrannya, membuat keputusan tentang proses belajarnya sendiri, dan menetapkan tujuan untuk dirinya sendiri. Konsep ini erat kaitannya dengan gagasan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa, dimana siswa didorong untuk berperan aktif dalam proses pembelajarannya. Dalam pendidikan matematika, kemandirian siswa elah terbukti mempunyai dampak positif terhadap motivasi, keterlibatan, dan prestasi siswa. Tujuan: Memberikan gambaran dan gagasan dari hasil literature review tentang pengaruh kemandirian siswa terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah literature review. Penelusuran artikel akademik melalui online database. Kemudian dilakukan penyaringan didapatkan 10 artikel yang sesuai. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah literature review. Penelusuran artikel akademik melalui Online Database ( pencarian melalui Google Schooler, Pub Med dari tahun 2016 – 2022. Kemudian dilakukan penyaringan dengan PICO (Population, Intervention, Comparative, Outcome) didapatkan 10 artikel yang sesuai. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil studi menunjukan bahwa kemandirian belajar memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Kesimpulan: Terdapat pngaruh kemandirian belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Kata kunci: Matematika, Kemandirian, Hasil Belajar.

Abstract

The problem in this research is an affort to improve students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities at SMP Negeri 5 Angkola Timur in the matter of a system of two-variable linear equations in class VIII by applying the Think Pair Share learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The research subjects are class VIII students of SMP Negeri 5 Angkola Timur. The object taken in this research is problem-solving skills by applying the Think Pair Share learning model. From the results of the cycle test, the lowest score was 30 and the highest score was 80. There were 12 students who scored <65 (46.15%) and 14 students who scored ≥ 65 (53.85%). ). As well as the average value obtained on the initial test is 59,26. After giving action in cycle II for two meetings through the stages of applying Think Pair Share learning model, at the end of the lesson given a problem solving ability test to students, the class average value is 71,42 in the second cycle test, it was seen that 23 students (88,46) had completed their studies and 3 students (11,54) did not complete their studies. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran Thiking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa di SMP Negeri 4 Sipirok. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menerapkan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan one group pretest post test design. Populasi penelitian adalah keseluruhan siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Sipirok dengan jumlah siswa 55 orang. Sampel penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling yaitu kelas VII-A dengan jumlah siswa 27 orang. Instrumen penelitian adalah tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dan lembar observasi kegiatan pembelajaran. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan uji paired t-test. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif, dapat ditemukan (1) rata-rata menggunakan model pembelajaran TAPPS adalah 3,6 (kategori baik) dan (2) rata-rata kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa pada sistem topik bentuk aljabar sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran TAPPS adalah 51,33 (cukup) dan setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran TAPPS pada topic persamaan linear satu variabel adalah 89,89 (kategori sangat baik). Selanjutnya, berdasarkan statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan paired samples test, (SPSS versi 26), hasilnya menunjukkan nilai signifikan kurang dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). Artinya, ada keefektifan penggunaan model pembelajaran Thiking Aloud Pair Problem Solving pada kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa pada topik persamaan linier satu variabel pada siswa kelas VII-A SMP Negeri 4 Sipirok.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah menjadi kemampuan paling mendasar didalam matematika yang harus dilatih guru kepada siswa. Metode pembelajaran yang bervariasi dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perbandingan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dengan metode team quiz dan quiz individu. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 36 orang siswa kelas IV SD Swasta Xaverius Padangsidimpuan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan metode team quiz memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata 80.8, siswa mampu memenuhi empat indikator pemecahan masalah menurut polya yaitu (1) memahami masalah, (2) membuat rencana, (3) melaksanakan rencana, (4) mengecek kembali. Pembelajaran dengan metode quiz individu memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah cukup baik dengan nilai rata-rata 67.41, siswa mampu memenuhi 2 indikator yaitu (1) memahami masalah (2) membuat rencana tetapi siswa bermasalah dalam melaksanakan rencana penyelesaian dan mengecek kembali.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to produce ethnomathematics teaching materials with a contextual approach to improve the mathematical communication skills of students at SMP Negeri 2 Padangsidimpuan and determine the quality of teaching materials in terms of validity, practicality and effectiveness. This research is Research and Development (R&D) research with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. The subjects in this research were 29 students in class VIII-3 of SMP Negeri 2 Padangsidimpuan. Data collection techniques in this research are questionnaires, tests and documentation. The instruments used include 1) a questionnaire sheet in the form of a validation questionnaire by experts to see the validity of the product and a student response questionnaire to see the practicality of the product and 2) a test sheet for the effectiveness of the product being developed. Validation was carried out by media experts, material experts, language experts and cultural experts who then carried out product trials by looking at responses to product use and student test results based on mathematical communication skills. Based on the results of this research, product validity was obtained with an average percentage of 84.075% in the "Very Valid" category, product practicality with an average percentage of 89.38% in the "Very Practical" category and product effectiveness with an average percentage of 77.1% ith the "Effective" category. Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa di SMP Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan.sample penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan tekhnik simple random sampling yaitu kelas VIII-8 SMP Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan jenis one group pretest posttest design. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan keterampilan guru dengan menggunakan instrument tes berupa pretest dan posttest untuk siswa. Kemudian data penelitian ini dianalisis dengan statistic deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan taraf signifikan 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) nilai rata-rata penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) adalah 3,20 dengan kategori “sangat baik”. 2) nilai rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa sebelum penggunaan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) adalah 52,46 dengan kategori “kurang” dan setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share adalah 88,18 dengan kategori “sangat baik”. 3) berdasarkan statistic inferensial dengan menggunakan paired samples test (SPSS 25) diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,000 yang lebih kecil dari taraf nyata alpha 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). Artinya penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) efektif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi pertimbangan bagi guru matematika dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share (TPS) dalam memecahkan masalah pembelajaran matematika.
