Abstract

This study aims to find out whether Product Quality affects the Purchasing Decision of Vivo Smartphone products for Students of the Faculty of Economics at . The method used is a quantitative research method, which is research that collects data in the form of numbers or qualitative data that is estimated, for example contained in the measurement scale. The data collection technique used in this study used online questionnaires through social media, interviews, and observations. The respondents in this study were students of the a total sample of 74 people. The data analysis techniques used in this study are simple regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and coefficient of determination (r2) using SPSS. The results of a simple linear regression analysis were obtained Y = 1.045 + 0.832, where a = 1.045 is a constant value and the results of the t-test analysis showed the result that the t test value was 11.182 when compared with the table t value, then a table t value of 1.6660 was obtained. So it can be determined that t count > t table (11.182 > 1.6660) this can be interpreted to mean that the hypothesis H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an influence between the independent variables (variable x, product quality) and the dependent variable (variable y, purchasing decision). And the coefficient of determination test obtained an Adjusterd R Square value of 0.635=35%, meaning that the purchasing decision variable is influenced by the product quality variable by 35%. While the remaining 65% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Financial ratio analysis is an analytical technique to help evaluate a company's financial statements by combining the numbers in or between profit and loss and balance sheet. Financial ratios are useful for identifying a company's financial strengths and weaknesses. The Altman Z-Score is expressed in the form of a linear equation consisting of 5 X coefficients representing certain financial ratios. While the formula is as follows (Altman, 1968), Z = 1.2X1 + 1.4X2 + 3.3X3 + 0.6X4 + 0.999X5. Based on the results of the Z-Score analysis and discussion, it shows that all of the four food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange have fluctuated, meaning that there is a tendency to be in a state of bankruptcy, a gray area or in a non-bankrupt state. From the calculation of the Z-Score prediction, there is only one company, namely PT Mayora Indah, Tbk which can maintain the company's health condition. Meanwhile, PT Akasha Wira International, Tbk, then PT Indofood Sukses Makmur, Tbk and PT Ultra Jaya Milk, Tbk are in a vulnerable zone, namely entering the gray area and even the bankrupt area. PT Indofood Sukses Makmur, Tbk is a company that has a tendency to be in an unsafe zone because it is classified as bankrupt, meaning that the company is experiencing financial difficulties which have an impact on the continuity of the company.

Abstract

Education is an effort designed to achieve the goals that have been set to improve the quality of human resources. One of these efforts is to go through a learning process. In an effort to improve the quality of educational resources, teachers are a component of human resources that must be fostered and developed continuously. The establishment of the teacher profession is carried out through pre-service education programs and in-service programs. Not all teachers who educate in educational institutions are well trained and qualified. The potential of teacher resources needs to continue to grow and develop in order to perform their functions potentially. In addition, the influence of fast-paced changes encourages teachers to continuously learn to adjust to the development of science and technology and community mobility. Supervision is training given to all school staff so that they are able to improve their ability to develop a better teaching and learning situation. The purpose of educational supervision is to develop a situation of seeking better teaching knowledge through training and improving teaching. One of the factors that affect the quality of education of a school is student learning achievement, where the learning achievement is influenced by the performance and quality of the teacher. Therefore, the principal and supervisor as supervisors must be able to improve, maintain the performance and quality of teacher professionalism. One of the efforts that can be done is to supervise the teacher's performance continuously.

Abstract

This study was conducted to prove the practicality of the conceptual foundation of language anxiety observed in an English classroom. It aimed to explore the types of anxiety students experience when doing their speaking activities. Besides, it sought to explore which things cause students to feel the most anxious about speaking English. It was conducted using a qualitative phenomenological approach to describe the lived experiences of the students. The subject of research was students at a private vocational senior high school in North Minahasa, North Sulawesi. The samples consisting of five respondents were taken using a purposeful snowball sampling technique and some private interviews were conducted to take the data. The data were analyzed using three steps: data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the students experienced the fear of being laughed at by their peers when making mistakes, the fear of not making enough preparation to speak, the fear of not knowing words to use, the fear of lacking understanding of lessons explained in English, and the fear of being scolded by an English teacher due to mispronunciation. Finally, most of what causes them to experience language anxiety has to do with the fear of negative evaluation from other people.

Abstract

Competition does not only occur in the business world, but universities also must compete against competition from both domestic and foreign universities. One important indicator for university ranking is industry revenue which reflects commercial value and strengthens university-industry collaboration. The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical evidence regarding the effect of teaching, research, and citations on industrial income. This study uses a multiple linear regression approach, using data from The Times Higher Education World University Ranking from 2019-2023 to get a sample of universities in Indonesia which are included in it. The results showed that teaching had no significant effect on industrial income, research had a significant positive effect on industrial income, and citations had a significant negative effect on industrial income.

Abstract

The goal to be achieved in this study is to teacher’s perceptions of the certification program in enhancement pedagogical competence at Meruya Selatan 01 Elementary School Am. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were all teachers at Meruya Selatan 01 Elementary School am, totaling 25 teachers. Sampling was carried out using saturated sampling technique, in which the entire population was used as a sample. The data collection technique uses closed questionnaires. Data analysis in this study was carried out in a simple quantitative descriptive manner using intervals and percentages. The results showed that the majority of teachers' perceptions of the certification program were very good, obtained from 16 (64%) teachers who answered. In the implementation of pedagogic competence, there were 7 (28%) teachers doing it quite well. This is a pretty good discovery in the school environment, because it means that the teacher certification program pursued by the government with the aim of increasing competency is going quite well or there are still results, although not optimal. However, it should also be noted that teachers who have very good perceptions of the certification program do not always have very good pedagogical competence. In fact, from the results of the study, it was found that there were more teachers whose pedagogical competence was only in the fairly good category. This is also a note for teachers to be more creative in improving their competence.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the teacher's efforts in forming Pancasila Student Profiles for students in grades I and IV at SDN Tanjung Duren Selatan 01, and to find out what factors inhibited teachers during the process of forming Pancasila Student Profiles. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The research results obtained are: (1) Faith, piety to God Almighty and noble character. Carrying out the habit of praying Dhuha, morning services according to the elements of religious morality and morality to humans. (2) Global Diversity, by introducing ethnicity and culture in Indonesia according to elements of knowing and respecting culture and communication and interaction between cultures and social justice. (3) Work together, by picketing classes according to the moral elements of nature, collaborating, caring and sharing. (4) Independent, activities carried out by giving individual assignments according to self-regulation elements. (5) Critical Reasoning, by providing challenging questions or questions with the aim of students participating in their activities according to the elements of obtaining and processing information and ideas, and analyzing and evaluating reasoning and procedures. (6) Creative, activities carried out by giving students handicraft assignments by utilizing used items around them and holding P5 activities according to the elements of Generating original ideas and Producing original works and actions.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the influence of online game addiction on the learning concentration of students at SMP Negeri 2 Ampek Nagari Kababupaten Agam. The purpose of the research is to describe; 1) Knowing the description of online game addiction at SMP Negeri 2 Ampek Nagari, Agam Regency. 2) Knowing the description of students' learning concentration at SMP Negeri 2 Ampek Nagari, Agam Regency. 3) Knowing the effect of online game addiction on learning concentration at SMP N 2 Ampek Nagari, Agam Regency.​ This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research with a simple linear regression analysis approach. This research collected data using observation, questionnaires and documentation. The population of this research was all class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Ampek Nagari, totaling 154 people. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique as many as 40 people. The instrument used is the questionnaire. Data analysis using percents technique. The results of this study reveal that R Square X to Y is 0.60, so it has an effect of X on Y, namely 60%, the remaining 60% is influenced by other variables that are not visible in this study. Judging from the t count of 1.558 and t table of -3.01 with (α) = 0.05. provisions t table obtained from table t. So it is concluded that the regression coefficient X on Y is significant because tcount > ttable (1.558> -3.01) then the hypothesis is accepted which says there is a significant influence of online game addiction variables on learning concentration.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of students who have not been able to have the ability to manage emotions. The aims of this study were: (1) Profile of self-regulation of students before treatment in the experimental group and control group, (2) Profile of self-regulation of students after treatment in the experimental group, (3) Effectiveness of the development program Information technology (IT)-based self-regulation improves the ability to manage students' emotions. This study uses a quantitative approach, the type of research is experimental. The location of this research is at SMKN 2 Padang. The samples in this study were 35 students in class XI BPD (Digital) (experimental group) and 35 students in class XI RPL (control group). The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is Ancova. The results of the study found: 1) The level of self-regulation before treatment was classified as low, both in the experimental class and the control class. 2) The level of self-regulation after the treatment underwent significant changes, especially in the experimental group. 3) Information technology-based emotional intelligence development program is effective in significantly increasing the Self Regulation ability of class XI students at SMKN 2 Padang. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended for counseling teachers to be used as guidelines or input materials for implementing the Self Regulation development program in improving the ability to manage students' emotions.

Abstract

The future often contains a lot of uncertainty because of the times that change quite rapidly. Current needs may change in a few years. Through the use of technology, students can be better prepared to face future careers. This study aims to look at how the implementation of technology-based education can help students prepare themselves for future careers. This research will be carried out using a descriptive qualitative approach. The data used in this study come from various research results and previous studies that are still relevant to the research discussion. The results of this study then found adequate technological skills to help students in facing highly competitive competition in the world of work later. Then through technology-based education, students can be prepared to face various challenges that are always developing in the future. Therefore, there is a need for various supports to be able to provide students with technology-based education.
