Abstract

This study aims to increase student learning participation by using crossword puzzle media in Civics subjects. The research method used in this research is a class action research method with a descriptive form. The research subjects in this study were class VIIIA students at Siantan 1 Public Middle School with a total sample of 28 people. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation, and interviews. Data collection instruments used were laptops, cellphones, pens, and books. The results of the data that have been collected are described by calculating the number of students and percentages. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 1 meeting. The result of student participation in cycle 1 was 37% and in cycle 2 was 60%. Student learning participation has increased by using crossword puzzle media. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the use of crossword puzzle media in Civics subjects can increase the participation of class VIIIA students at SMP Negeri 1 Siantan.

Abstract

The problem of educational methods is a problem that really needs attention, especially for educators, because choosing the right method will determine the success of a student in the learning process, on the other hand, if educators use inappropriate or ineffective method selection, it will cause poor learning monotonous and less successful. To provide a pleasant learning atmosphere for students, a teacher must know the ways or methods that must be applied, so that students are motivated to take part in learning activities. Therefore, students need game-based teaching methods. In addition to fulfilling the need for games and entertainment, the need for knowledge will also be fulfilled through the delivery of material using game methods, one of which is the Role Playing method.

Abstract

The story about the development of Islamic education is an explanation of how Islamic education developed over time, including in terms of concepts, ideas, institutions and implementation from the time of the Prophet Muhammad to the present. In writing this article, the method used is descriptive analysis. In this process, a study of several reading books was carried out and from this research, a conclusion was drawn. It was found that classical Islamic education began during the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, and this education developed rapidly along with the development of the Islamic region. This can be seen from the increase in the number of educational figures, materials, methods, models and educational venues that are increasingly developing. In the Middle Ages, Islamic education was not as strong as educational progress in Europe. Education only emphasizes religious knowledge, does not focus on general knowledge. In modern times, Islamic education has begun to experience significant development and plays a role in eliminating colonial rule. Renewal in the Islamic world has emerged through the process of integrating Islamic principles into modern secular science. This effort tries to formulate Islamic education that is based on pure sources of Islamic teachings, and involves reforms in education that focus on the spirit of nationalism.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Speed ​​and Agility on the ability to dribble on the SSB Poleang Raya athlete, Bombana Regency. This research is a quantitative study using a descriptive correlational method. The research subjects were the SSB Poleang Raya athlete, Bombana Regency, which consisted of 30 people. The instruments used in this study were 40 meter run, shuttle run, and dribbling. Data analysis techniques were analyzed using statistical techniques using the SSPS.version 24 application. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship of 0.038 and has a correlation coefficient that speed has a very strong positive relationship to the ability to dribble and has a contribution of 0.467*. There is a significant relationship of 0.036 and has a correlation coefficient value that agility has a very strong positive relationship to the ability to dribble and has a mem contribution value of 0.471* There is a significant relationship of 0.034 and has an interpretation of the correlation coefficient value that speed and agility have a significant relationship very strong positive effect on the ability to dribble and has a contribution of 0.574

Abstract

This research aims to 1) Determine the feasibility level of animation-based video tutorials; 2) Assess student responses; and 3) Evaluate the improvement in student learning outcomes on the topic of quick lipid transfer. This study is an action research using a descriptive quantitative research method, conducted at SMKN 1 Bagor in the academic year 2023/2024. The subjects of this action are 36 students in Fashion Boutique 1 class. Data collection techniques include validity assessment sheets, questionnaires, and tests. The research results indicate that 1) the implementation of animation-based video tutorials is considered suitable and valid for use; 2) student responses are categorized as very good; and 3) student learning outcomes on the topic of quick lipid transfer have improved with a satisfactory category. The findings of this research suggest that animation-based video tutorials can enhance student learning outcomes in the Fashion Boutique 1 class at SMKN 1 Bagor in the subject of quick lipid transfer.

Abstract

Cases of bullying, both verbal and physical, have become a serious issue in the school environment. Violent phenomena such as mocking, taunting, and physical actions need to be addressed with comprehensive preventive measures. This study uses a qualitative research method by adopting a case study approach with the aim of exploring in depth the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in overcoming bullying behavior in primary education institutions (SD), especially at SDN 1 Ulu Lapao-Pao, Kolaka Regency. The Research Results Bullying at SDN 1 Ulu Lapao-pao is divided into several types, namely: Physical: engaging in hurtful physical actions, such as punches, kicks, and pushing in front of the door during play. Verbal: involves distressing treatment, such as demeaning words, even by referring to the names of learners' parents. Psychological: involves threats and exclusion in the classroom, creating fear and loss of friends for the victim of bullying. Cyberbullying: occurs through technological intermediaries, such as messages through applications, such as WhatsApp. The Efforts of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in Overcoming Bullying are 1) detecting and overcoming bullying through strategies such as discussing the concept of justice in Islam, forming good morals, 2) open dialogue with students. 3) holding extracurricular activities based on Islamic values, 4) teachers create an inclusive and safe environment. 5) special attention to bullying perpetrators, involving parents, 6) and psychological strengthening are part of the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers to create a harmonious school environment and avoid bullying practices.

Abstract

Self-esteem is an issue that is quite interesting to examine again. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of ecological motivation on pro-social behavior and self-esteem and to analyze the influence of self-esteem on pro-social behavior. Apart from that, it is also to analyze self-esteem in mediating the influence of ecological motivation on social behavior. This research is quantitative research. In this research there are 15 question indicators, then the number of indicators is multiplied by 10 to obtain the minimum sample required. The information checking procedure used in this exploration is a Structural Equation Model (SEM) investigation with Smart Partial Least Square (PLS). Based on the research that has been carried out, this exploration can be concluded that ecological motivation has a positive effect on social behavior, so that the first hypothesis is recognized. Ecological motivation influences self-esteem, so the second hypothesis is recognized. The third hypothesis is supported because self-esteem has a positive and significant effect on behavior. Self-esteem intervenes in ecological motivation in supporting social behavior, so that the fourth hypothesis is recognized.

Abstract

This research investigates the implementation of character education based on Pancasila values in society, in the context of STAI Samora Pematangsiantar students. Using qualitative methods through STAI Samora students' worship practices, especially the five daily prayers, to see how Pancasila values are reflected in students' daily lives. As a result, students emphasize principles such as unity, democracy, and social justice in worship, creating a sense of togetherness and mutual respect. The findings of this research also illustrate that character education rooted in Pancasila values can be a strong basis for building an ethical, moral and mutually respectful society. The implication is that character education rooted in Pancasila can build an ethical and mutually respectful society.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the application of Group Investigation type cooperative model to improve mathematics learning outcomes with statistics material in class VIII SMP NEGERI 2 MANADO. This type of research uses Quasi Experiment research. The population of this study was class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Manado, 2 samples were selected, namely class VIII-1 as an experimental class with a total of 28 students and class VIII-3 as a control class with a total of 22 students. The research design used was Posttest-Only Control Design. The average value of the Posttest for the experimental class was 80.3571 and for the control class was 64.1363. Based on the results of research conducted in both classes using hypothesis testing, namely the t test with a significance level of 5%, it was found that then was rejected so that was accepted. Thus it can be concluded that student learning outcomes on Data Concentration Measures and Data Distribution Measures using the Group Investigation type cooperative learning model are better than using the direct learning model.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the problem based learning model for PPKN subjects on the disciplined character of students at SD Inpres, Kampung Parang, West Bajeng District, Gowa Regency. This type of research is ex post facto research with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample used was 22 grade IV students at SD Inpres Kampung Parang. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire. The results of this research show that the data was analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. It was found that the average (mean) pretest value was 70.91 while the average (mean) posttest was 86.09, the average value on the posttest was higher than the average value on the pretest. In hypothesis testing using the independent sample t-test, where the data tested is hypothesis testing carried out on the pretest and posttest results, based on the management of the hypothesis results obtained sig (2.Tailed) = 0.000, meaning that H0 is rejected because sig (2.Tailed ) < α or (0.000 < 0.05). H1 is accepted as sig (2.Tailed) > α or (0.148). In the T test analysis, Sig < ttable or (0.148 < 1.686). Testing this hypothesis, it can be concluded that there is an influence in the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the discipline character of students at Inpres Elementary School, Kampung Parang, West Bajeng District, Gowa Regency.
