Jurnal ini diberi nama LITERASI, nama tersebut dipilih sebagai upaya untuk tetap menjadikan keterampilan berbahasa sebagai landasan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Seperti sebuah pernyataan “bahasa sebagai penghela ilmu pengetahuan”. Jurnal LITERASI diterbitkan oleh Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa, Sastra Indonesia dan Daerah dua kali dalam setahun. Terbitan pertama pada tahun berjalan adalah bulan Januari dan terbitan kedua adalah bulan Juli. Setiap kali terbit, jurnal ini memuat delapan artikel yang mengkaji dan membahasa masalah pendidikan bahasa dan sastra Indonesia. Jurnal ini memuat artikel hasil penelitian, gagasan konseptual, baik yang ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia maupun bahasa asing. Selain secara online jurnal ini juga terbit secara cetak (ISSN 2086-4795). Diharapkan Jurnal ini mampu menjadi media informasi yang kredibel dan berdayaguna.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to analyze and describe the values of tolerance found in the animated film Zootopia. The method employed in this study was qualitative descriptive content analysis. Data sources were obtained from the animated film Zootopia itself. The data collection technique used was documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, as well as verification. The assessment techniques to check data validity were the credibility test, extending observation, and increasing persistence. The results of this study showed that the animated film Zootopia has six sub-values of tolerance: (1) Acknowledging the rights of every individual by providing defense for friends who still have rights in resolving the cases they are handling; (2) Granting freedom by being whatever one wants without any discriminatory attitude; (3) Agreeing on the existence of differences by coexisting with other individuals despite the differences; (4) Mutual understanding by comprehending the diversity within their environment; (5) Awareness and honesty by making the world a better place, starting with changes within oneself; (6) Tranquility and peace by providing serenity to friends in need of assistance. This study can serve as knowledge and an effective solution for instilling tolerance character values in primary school-aged children. The novelty of this study revealed the inculcation of tolerance values in the animated film Zootopia.

Abstract

The teacher has an important role in learning activities, one of which is evaluating learning activities. The purpose of this research is to analyze the needs of teachers in developing teaching materials for writing fantasy stories. This study uses a development research model that refers to the Thiagaragan 4D model with limitations in the first stage or the definition stage and the moted used is a descriptive qualitative method. The source of the research data was a junior high school Indonesian teacher in Jambi. Data collection techniques by distributing online questionnaires, interviews, and online FGDs were then analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques. Based on the results of the needs analysis research on fantasy story material in the independent curriculum, it is less attractive, so material development is needed so that it can form students' writing competence by prioritizing local wisdom. This research is expected to be an evaluation material for teachers to develop teaching materials that are contextual with the conditions of students. Abstract

Linguistics is the study of language, both as an object and in its function and development. The existence of language structures can be seen throughout history and is a special phenomenon, isolated from other social elements. Regarding the structure of language and the limitations it imposes (lexical semantics, phonology, morphology, syntax and functional stylistics), language is a very specific and separate social phenomenon. Some language elements and categories, their characteristics and structural variants cannot be translated and are unique to the language. There are a number of methods and approaches that focus on sociolinguistic studies, including: a) competence-based language teaching, b) communicative language teaching, c) natural approach, d) cooperative language learning. In addition, there are several explanations of the basic theories of sociolinguistics that are applied in schools, namely: a) language as a communication tool, b) language skills are broad, c) students are part of society

Abstract

As a national language, Indonesian works as a symbol of national pride, a symbol of national identity, a unifying tool, and an interregional and intercultural communication tool. As a symbol of nationality, the Indonesian language is able to reflect socio-cultural values that we feel proud of as a symbol of national identity, we must uphold the Indonesian language next to our flag and country. Indonesian language must also be able to become a unifying tool for various ethnic groups who have different cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Indonesian has been proven to achieve harmony between ethnic groups in one nation, namely the Indonesian nation. In an effort to foster a sense of love for the homeland of the young generation, the problems that exist in the Young Generation include 1) using the Indonesian language for FKIP Unpas students; 2) the use of social media for PBSI PBSI FKIP Unpas students; 3) language campaign on social media. Based on the existing problems, it is necessary to have a language campaign as an effort to increase the existence of the Indonesian language and create a younger generation who will use the language. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetengahkan hasil penelitian kualitatif terhadap pengalaman guru bahasa Indonesia di Jambi dalam membuat RPP kurikulum merdeka belajar dan kesiapan guru dalam menyongsong kebijakan merdeka belajar. Jenis penelitian ini ialah kualitatif, sedangkan partisipan penelitian ini adalah 3 orang guru bahasa Indonesia yang saat ini menjadi guru SMP di Jambi. Dari 3 partisipan, 2 guru di antaranya 2 guru SMP kota Jambi, 1 guru SMA Kota Jambi. Dengan menerapkan desain penelitian studi kasus, data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen wawancara yang dilakukan terhadap 3 guru bahasa Indonesia SMP yang berasal dari lintas angkatan, yang secara suka rela menjadi partisipan dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dapat ditunjukkan bahwa pengalaman mendasar yang dihadapi guru dalam menyusun RPP mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia lebih dominan mengarah pada kemampuan guru dalam mengenal karakteristik dan kemampuan siswa. Dari hasil-hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkanybahwa guru memiliki kemandiran dalam menyusun dan meimplementasikan RPP dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kaidah-kaidah kesantunan berbahasa siswa pada diskusi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di Sekolah berdasarkan teori Robin Lakoff yang meliputi tiga kaidah, yaitu kaidah formalitas, kaidah ketidaktegasan atau pilihan, serta kaidah persamaan dan kesekawanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini berdasarkan analisis data rekaman yang telah penulis lakukan, ditemukan data tuturan guru dengan kaidah formalitas sebanyak 41 tuturan. 21 tuturan yang mematuhi dan 20 tuturan yang melanggar kaidah formalitas, sedangkan tuturan siswa ditemukan sebanyak 121 tuturan. 54 tuturan siswa yang mematuhi dan 67 tuturan yang melanggar kaidah formalitas. Kaidah pilihan dan kaidah persamaan tidak ditemukan data pada tuturan guru. Pada tuturan siswa ditemukan sebanyak 24 tuturan dengan kaidah pilihan. Sebanyak 3 tuturan yang mematuhi dan 21 tuturan yang melanggar kaidah pilihan. Selanjutnya, ditemukan data sebanyak 22 tuturan yang berkaitan dengan kaidah persamaan. Sebantak 12 tuturan yang mematuhi dan 10 tuturan yang melanggar kaidah persamaan.

Abstract

The reading literacy AKM tested at the State Vocational Schools of Ariculture calss X was previously not tested beforehand, so the eligibility of the items was not yet know so it was necessary to have the validity and reliability of each of these questions, how was the quality of the questions, whether the validity and reliability requirements had been fulfilled or not. Three is 1 instrument analyzed for the minimum competency assessment for reading literacy, which consists of 25 item. The data obtained Wet analyzed using the item validity test rechnique with person correlation and the cronch alpha reliability test was carried out. This study found the results that 1) item that had validity with good eligibility by 48% Wet declared valid and Three were as many as 52% declared invalid. the 2) the feasibility of the items seen from reliability is stated to have a very high level of reliability by obtaining a cronbach alpha value of 0.731.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the relationship between the Tetun and Dawan languages which is entitled “The kinship relationship between the Tetun and Dawan languages” using the theory of comparative historical linguistics. The method used qualitative and quantitative approaches using a lexicostatistic technique. The data collection methodology and technique used are effective methods of observation, interviewing, and recording. This research was conducted at the village of Rafae, Raimanuk District, Belu Regency. The research instrument used in the interview was a list of questions containing 200 basics (Swadesh) vocabulary. The results showed that there was a relationship between the Tetun and Dawan languages, attempts through 33 pairs of related words, with 5 pairs of identical words category, phonetic match 10, phonetically similar 6, and a different phonemic 12. The level of kinship Bahasa Tetun and Bahasa Dawan has a kinship at the level of rock (stock) with a percentage of 16,5 %.

Abstract

This study examines interlocutor reference in conversation on Close the Door podcast hosted by Deddy Corbuzier. The data search of this research consist of 116 instances of interlocutor reference. The theory used in this paper is the address terms proposed by Brown and Gilman (1960) as well as Sign of Deference, Sign of Demeanour; Interlocutor Reference and Self-Other Relation written by Dwi Noverini Djenar (2022). The aim of the study is to describe interlocutor reference in coversation on the podcast. Based on initial observations, it appears that the interlocutor reference used in speech sequences varies. Therefore, further research is needed to provide a picture of interlocutor characterisctics on the podcast. The results show that speaker use polite and familiar interlocutor references for the same conversational partner in the same speech sequence. For example, speakers use interlocutor reference such as Mr. Nadiem makarim, Elu, Bro Bos, and Brother in the same speech sequences. In addition, the use of interlocutor rreference such as Gus, Gus Yaqut, and Andain the same speech sequences was also found. The use of diverse interlocutor references indicates deferential relationship among speakers. Deferential relationship in conversations refer to the strategies used by the speakers to show respect, politeness, and familiarity to their conversational partners.

Abstract

Fakta bahwa film “Lima Elang” menampilkan kegiatan Pramuka di Indonesia menjadi alasan mengapa film ini perlu dikaji. Mahasiswa dari Indonesia memberikan contoh. Investigasi ini akan berfokus pada analisis nilai karakter dalam film Lima Elang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi tokoh-tokoh dalam film Lima Elang dan menganalisis pesan moral yang disampaikan oleh film tersebut. Jenis penelitian ini didasarkan pada judul dan rumusan masalah penelitian; oleh karena itu, penelitian kualitatif digunakan oleh para peneliti. Pengamatan, keputusan penelitian, dan prosedur pengumpulan data digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Penulis melakukan akuisisi data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan selama analisis data. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa film Lima Elang mengandung lima pesan moral dan lima karakter, antara lain kepedulian sosial, disiplin, kemandirian, cinta tanah air, dan tanggung jawab.
