Abstract

This study aims to analyze in more depth the differences in economic growth, poverty, unemployment, and inflation in Indonesia during and post the covid-19 pandemic, as well as analyze the policies that have been implemented. This research uses quantitative methods with secondary data for the period of the covid-19 pandemic (2019-2021) and post the covid-19 pandemic (2022-2024). The variables used are economic growth, unemployment, poverty, and inflation. This study uses the Shapiro Wilk normality test and the Paired Sample T-Test. The results showed that economic growth, poverty rate, unemployment, and inflation during and post the covid-19 pandemic remained stable and did not experience significant differences. This stability can be attributed to various government policies aimed at reducing the negative impact of the pandemic. Nevertheless, some of these sectors are still adjusting, even though the pandemic is over. The policies implemented during the pandemic have proven to be effective in mitigating the long-term negative impacts, so that economic conditions remain under control after the pandemic. For future research, it is recommended that the analysis be extended to the regional level to get a clearer picture of the differences in economic recovery. Furthermore, a long-term analysis is needed to see the impact of the pandemic on the Indonesian economy in the next few years, to understand the recovery trend or new challenges that may arise after the pandemic.

Abstract

As a developing country that adheres to an open economic system, Indonesia is inseparable from international trade, one of which is exports. Indonesia's leading export in non-oil and gas commodities is coal. The value of Indonesia's coal exports to five destination countries from 2009-2023 continues to fluctuate. The purpose of this study is to analyze the simultaneous and partial effects of reference prices, total consumption, and renewable energy on the value of Indonesia's coal exports to five main destination countries for the period 2009-2023. The number of observations in this study was 75 observations. This research method uses descriptive analysis techniques and panel data regression. The results of the regression test on panel data show that the most appropriate model is FEM. The results of this study indicate that the variables of reference price, total consumption, and renewable energy simultaneously have a significant effect on the value of Indonesia's coal exports. Partially, the variables of reference price and total consumption have a positive and significant effect, while renewable energy has a negative and significant effect on the value of Indonesia's coal exports.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how price affects customer loyalty, how consumer satisfaction affects customer loyalty, and how price affects customer loyalty in the Sragen District, as mediated by consumer satisfaction. Customers who purchase Indomie in the Sragen District serve as the population's research sample. Using an accidental sampling strategy, which involves selecting people of the population who are discovered incidentally (by chance), the sample for this study included 100 respondents. The method of gathering data makes use of a questionnaire. The following analytical tools are employed: hypothesis testing (path analysis), t-test, F test, coefficient of determination test (R2), classical assumptions (normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests), and instrument testing (validity, reliability, and validity tests). According to the study, price significantly affects Indomie customers' loyalty in the Sragen District. Price is having a substantial impact on Indomie consumer satisfaction in the Sragen District. Sragen Districi's Indomie client loyalty is significantly impacted by customer satisfaction. Indomie consumer satisfaction in the Sragen District acts as a mediator between price and customer loyalty.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of financial literacy on investment decisions mediated by investment experience within the investor community in Malang City. Financial literacy helps young investors make rational decisions, while investment experience enhances their ability to assess opportunities and risks. A quantitative approach was used with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis through SmartPLS. The research population consists of 626 individuals who are part of the investor community in five leading universities in Malang City. A sample of 261 respondents was selected using the Slovin formula to obtain a representative sample. The results show that financial literacy and investment experience significantly influence investment decisions, with investment experience also affecting decisions through financial literacy as a mediator. This study contributes to understanding how financial literacy strengthens the positive impact of investment experience, ultimately leading to wiser investment decisions. The findings are expected to support the development of more effective financial literacy education policies for the younger generation. Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of Nontariff Measures (NTMs) on the export volume of Indonesia’s crumb rubber to major destination countries from 2012 to 2023. In addition to NTMs, it also examines the role of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the destination country, exchange rate, and international crumb rubber prices using panel data regression.The results show that NTMs do not significantly affect Indonesia’s crumb rubber exports. This may be due to market flexibility in adjusting to trade regulations or long-term contracts between exporters and importers. On the other hand, the GDP of the destination country has a positive and significant effect, suggesting that economic growth in importing countries drives higher demand for crumb rubber from Indonesia.The exchange rate also plays an important role. A weaker rupiah against the US dollar positively impacts export volume, as it improves price competitiveness. Meanwhile, international crumb rubber prices are not statistically significant, possibly due to fixed-price contracts that shield exporters from market price volatility.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of content quality and storytelling on the travel interest of Generation Z on the social media platform TikTok, with perceived value (emotional, functional, and social) as a mediation. The research method used is quantitative, employing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through SmartPLS. Data were collected from 176 respondents who are active TikTok users, engaging with the platform 1-3 times a week. The results of the study indicate that (1) storytelling has a significant positive effect on travel interest; (2) content quality has a non-significant effect on travel interest; (3) storytelling has a significant positive effect on perceived emotional, functional, and social value; (4) perceived emotional and social values have a non-significant effect on travel interest, while perceived functional value has a significant positive effect on travel interest; (5) perceived emotional and social values do not mediate the influence of storytelling on travel interest, whereas perceived functional value does mediate the influence of storytelling on travel interest. This research provides important insights for tourism destination managers in designing effective marketing strategies to attract the attention of Generation Z. Future research should explore storytelling on other digital platforms, explore the factors that influence travel interest with a focus on the functional value of destinations, and adapt content to Generation Z's preference for concise and authentic information.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the employment conditions in Banten Province which has the highest open unemployment rate among other provinces in Indonesia and in recent years has exceeded the national average. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of minimum wages, education level, health level, and open unemployment rate on labor absorption in Banten Province. This study is a quantitative study with secondary data obtained by the Central Statistics Agency. The method used is panel data analysis from eight districts/cities in Banten Province in 2017-2022. This study found that minimum wages have a positive impact and TPT has a negative impact on labor absorption in Banten Province. The government needs to set a competitive minimum wage and improve workforce skills through upskilling and reskilling, as well as build cooperation between educational institutions and industry to increase job availability and labor absorption.

Abstract

With the development of technology, the way people communicate with each other has changed significantly. With the entry of the internet into the business world, marketing strategies have to undergo new changes. As more and more people are connected to the internet, digital marketing is becoming increasingly important. As a result, the purpose of this study is to find out how e-commerce affects the marketing of Culinary MSMEs. This type of research is a qualitative research that uses a literature review method. This method is very suitable and relevant for analyzing the relationship between the use of e-commerce and culinary MSME marketing because it can provide an accurate understanding of current technological advances and find problems and weaknesses in the existing literature. The results of the study show that there is a strong correlation between the research theme and the theme of culinary small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) marketing. Most studies use quantitative data to measure how factors such as social media use, e-marketing combinations, and digital marketing influence purchase intent. Many studies have studied the positive effects of using e-commerce, but few studies have studied the adverse effects or challenges that MSMEs face when adapting to new technologies.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of compensation and employee performance on work discipline levels at PT Telkom in Palopo City. The approach used is a quantitative method with a causal design, where data is collected through the distribution of questionnaires. The research population includes all employees of PT Telkom Palopo, and the sampling method used is a saturated sampling technique (census), where all 40 members of the population are included as samples in this study. The collected data is then analyzed using SPSS version 26. The findings of this study indicate that both compensation and employee performance have a positive influence on employee work discipline at PT Telkom Palopo.

Abstract

Digital technology is changing the way businesses compete, urging them to refine their marketing strategies. Social media has now emerged as a new phenomenon playing a crucial role in the marketing. This phenomenon is evident in the increasing number of companies and businesses utilizing social media as part of their online marketing strategies. In this study, aims to examine the influence of social media marketing on purchase intention, especially by looking at the role brand awareness as a mediating variable. The research method employed is quantitative analysis using a probability sampling technique, specifically simple random sampling. The research object is the Instagram account @sukabumifoodies, with data collected from 250 followers who responded to an online questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The results of the study indicate that social media marketing positively contributes to building brand awareness. Furthermore, brand awareness has a positive effect on purchase intention followers. In addition, brand awareness significantly mediates the relationship between social media marketing and purchase intention. These findings highlight the importance of social media marketing, brand awareness, and purchase intention in developing effective and efficient marketing strategies.
