Abstract

This study aims to analyze the utilization of HTML5-based interactive multimedia in the form of Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) on learning implementation satisfaction and learners’ understanding in the E-Learning Manajemen Pembelajaran at the Financial Education and Training Agency (BPPK). The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach supported by descriptive quantitative data. Data were collected through observations of the ongoing online learning implementation, participant satisfaction evaluations using a 1–5 Likert scale, and final quiz results as a summative test to measure learners’ understanding. The object of this study was HTML5-based interactive multimedia integrated into a Learning Management System (LMS) and accessed asynchronously by the training participants. The results indicate that participants’ satisfaction with the learning implementation was in the very good category, with perceived performance exceeding expectations. In terms of understanding, all participants were declared to have passed, as indicated by scores above the passing grade in the summative test. These findings suggest that the utilization of HTML5-based interactive multimedia packaged in SCORM format is able to provide a satisfying learning experience and effectively support learners’ understanding in e-learning, making it relevant for further development and implementation in online training programs within government institutions.

Abstract

The transformation of waste management in Indonesia requires substantial changes in public behavior, particularly in the practice of waste sorting at the source, which remains limited. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the effectiveness of various waste-sorting training models and to identify the key factors influencing their success in shaping public mindset and behavior. The research employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by examining six indexed scientific articles published between 2022 and 2025 that focus on awareness-building and basic educational interventions in school and residential settings. The synthesis of findings indicates that the effectiveness of training programs does not operate in isolation but is simultaneously influenced by three main factors: (1) technical factors, including the availability of supporting infrastructure such as segregated waste bins; (2) cognitive factors related to participants’ understanding, facilitated through instructional methods, visual demonstrations, and interactive simulations; and (3) policy-related factors involving the implementation of regulations and the role of social role models. The results reveal that while waste-sorting training programs are highly effective in improving knowledge among students and community members, a gap remains in translating knowledge into consistent behavioral change. This gap highlights the need for continuous mentoring supported by adequate infrastructure to sustain behavioral consistency. Overall, the study indicates that maximum cognitive effectiveness is achieved through the integration of interactive educational methods, complemented by sufficient physical facilities and reinforced through continuous assistance or binding regulatory strategies that incorporate elements of positive enforcement to maintain long-term behavioral change.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively describe the planning, implementation process, and evaluation of learning that integrates environmental values within the framework of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in the IPAS subject. The focus of this research is the integration of sustainability values, with the participants consisting of two fourth-grade teachers and fourth-grade students at SDN Karangsemanding 02. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis of teaching modules. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of environmental values within the ESD framework was implicitly integrated through the adaptation of teaching modules to local conditions and contextual project-based activities, such as waste sorting and recycling. The study identified three prominent environmental pillars of ESD: environmentally responsible behavior, ecological awareness, and environmental conservation, with the highest indicators observed during the implementation and evaluation stages. The simplified deep learning approach applied in this study proved effective in gradually facilitating the internalization of values, in line with Vygotsky’s theory. In conclusion, the integration of environmental values through the ESD framework contributes to the development of students’ sustainability-oriented character through contextual learning that is relevant to the school’s environmental conditions.

Abstract

The evaluation of prospective teachers’ competencies during the pre-PPL phase still relies heavily on conventional instruments that fail to authentically assess their ability to solve classroom problems. In line with recent policies requiring case study projects in the PPG program, this article reports on the development of SCENIC (Scenario-based Contextual Evaluation for Nurturing Instructional Competence), a set of contextual scenario-based evaluation instruments integrated with case study projects. The research employed an R&D approach (Borg & Gall) through needs analysis, the design of seven scenarios, expert validation, and phased pilot testing with PPG students. The results indicate competency gaps in student needs analysis, inclusive learning design, and contextual communication; expert validation rated the content as relevant and highly applicable; and pilot testing showed that SCENIC helps calibrate performance assessments and strengthens students’ readiness to tackle case study assignments and UKIN/PPL. SCENIC is recommended as an authentic evaluation framework to bridge theory and practice in elementary teacher education.

Abstract

The threat of the global climate crisis is multidimensional and endangers the survival of humanity as well as the planet’s ecosystems. In the Islamic perspective, humans are positioned as khalifah (vicegerents) who bear moral and spiritual responsibility to preserve the balance of nature. This study aims to examine the concept of the khalifah’s responsibility within the framework of Islamic ecotheology and its relevance to the climate crisis. Using a library research method with a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach, this study analyzes classical Qur’anic exegesis literature, ecotheological thought, and contemporary environmental studies. The findings indicate that current environmental degradation contradicts the principles of tawhid (divine unity), amanah (trust), and mizan (balance). Islamic ecotheology offers a theocentric paradigm that integrates environmental preservation as both an act of worship and a moral obligation. Therefore, this study concludes that revitalizing ecological awareness grounded in Islamic values is an imperative step in responding to the climate crisis in an ethical and spiritual manner.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and father involvement among fathers who run home-based businesses in Bukittinggi City. The subject of this study consisted of 97 fathers who operate businesses from their homes, have longer working hours at home, and have dependent children, selected through purposive sampling. This study employed a quantitative correlational approach. Data were collected using the Inventory of Father Involvement (IFI) adapted by Fajriati & Kumalasari (2021) and the Adverse Childhood Experiences International Questionnaire (ACE-IQ) adapted by Rahapsari et al. (2021). Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation test after meeting the assumptions of normality and linearity. The results showed a significant negative relationship between ACEs and FI (r = -0.760, p < 0.001), indicating that the higher the exposure to adverse childhood experiences, the lower the level of paternal involvement in childcare. These findings suggest that physical proximity alone does not guarantee quality father involvement, and that early life experiences play a substantial role in shaping parenting behavior in adulthood.
