Abstract

Motivation and job satisfaction are several factors that can affect the quality of HR activities in an organization. The purpose of this study was to use BP Batam Land documentation to determine the effect of work motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance. This study used baseline data from a sample of 100 land registrars at BP Batam. This study used data collection methods in the form of observation, questionnaires and documentation, as well as SPSS 25 as a data processing tool. The test method used is multiple linear regression using test-T and test as a hypothesis testing method. The results of this study indicate that work motivation partially has a positive and significant effect on the performance of land document workers at BP Batam. Partially job satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on the performance of land documentation officers at BP Batam. Meanwhile, motivation and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on the performance of land documentation workers at BP Batam.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic severely impacted Indonesia's tourism industry, resulting in a sharp decline in hotel room occupancy rates in Surabaya. To recover, hotels adopted strategies. This article examines how hotels affiliated with international brand networks coped with the pandemic. The study focuses on Quest Hotel and Holiday Inn Express Surabaya CenterPoint, both renowned for their star ratings and business hotel concept in the city centre. Research revealed a significant drop in room occupancy rates during the pandemic. Strategies included strict adherence to health protocols, salary adjustments without altering service charge calculations, limited use of hotel facilities, showcasing health and cleanliness certifications on promotional materials, flexible booking periods, room price promotions, and non-room product sales. These measures aimed to prioritize guest safety, increase revenue, and adjust to the pandemic's impact. Implementing these adaptations, the hotels aimed to position themselves for recovery and success in the new normal era.

Abstract

The assessment of supply chain performance enables the monitoring of progress in supply chain management (SCM) and serves as a metric for assessing success in maintaining a competitive advantage The objective of this study is to ascertain the configuration of the supply chain flow and evaluate the performance of the material's supply chain at PT SCH, a company operating in the electrical industry. The employed methodologies encompass the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), facilitated by the utilization of the Expert Choice 11 software. The supply chain movement at PT SCH encompasses three primary distribution networks, namely inbound, internal, and outbound. The Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model implemented at PT SCH has three tiers, including five core processes (plan, sourcing, making, delivering, and returning), three performance attributes (reliability, responsiveness, and flexibility), and a total of 19 performance indicators that have been customized to align with the specific requirements of the organization. Upon conducting performance measurements, a score of 75.70 out of 100.00 was obtained, categorizing it as "good."

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of competence, leadership style, and organizational culture partially on employee performance and then the influence of competence, leadership style, and organizational culture together on employee performance. The population of this study was all employees of the Tanah Datar District Land Office, a total of 87 people. The sample in this study was taken from all populations, namely as many as 87 people. The data were collected using a Likert Scale model questionnaire and multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS computer program. The results of the analysis show that the competency variable, leadership style and Organizational culture partially has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Tanah Datar District Land Office employees. Competency Variables, Leadership style, and Organizational Culture together have a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Tanah Datar District Land Office employees.

Abstract

Indonesia's MSME sector is torn between economic growth and environmental damage. Industrial Revolution 4.0 encourages MSMEs, including in the culinary sector, to integrate business and social values with the principle of circularity. This study analyzes the influence of Industry 4.0 key resources on Culinary MSMEs in Jakarta on the circular economy and sustainable business. A quantitative approach was used by surveying Culinary MSME owners in Jakarta, taking 82 samples by random sampling. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling-partial least square (SEM-PLS). The analysis results show that the key resources of Industry 4.0, such as production system management, HR leadership, environmentally friendly business operations, and information technology, significantly affect the adoption of Industry 4.0 and the establishment of Sustainable Culinary Production Systems. The adoption of Industry 4.0 also impacts circular economy capabilities and sustainable business. Similarly, Sustainable Culinary Production Systems contribute to circular economy capabilities and sustainable business.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how personal motivational factors in Self-Determination Theory, both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, influence digital entrepreneurial intentions among Indonesian students. Data was obtained online from 303 students from various Indonesian universities. The PLS-SEM approach to data analysis reveals that intrinsic motivation elements such as enjoyment motivation and challenge motivation positively affect digital entrepreneurial intentions. On the extrinsic motivation factor, only compensation motivation has a positive effect on digital entrepreneurial intentions, while outward motivation does not affect digital entrepreneurial intentions. This finding differs from other research where outward motivation affects digital entrepreneurial intentions. In contrast, the compensation motivation factor does not positively affect digital entrepreneurial intentions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the acceptance of the CEISA system implemented at the Main Service Office of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise Type B Batam City. Based on the Decree of the Director General of Customs and Excise No.351/BC/2017 regarding the application for submission of customs declaration documents with the CEISA Application System. Respondents of this research are import and export companies that perform customs services with a sample of 60 users, using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. Based on the conclusions obtained from the research results and by using Path Analysis assisted by IBM SPSS Statistics V22, it proves that the perceived ease of use of CEISA directly affects the perceived usefulness of CEISA significantly. Perceived usefulness directly affects attitudes towards CEISA is significant. The perceived usefulness of CEISA which indirectly affects the acceptance of CEISA is significant and the attitude towards CEISA towards the acceptance of CEISA is significant.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to empirically examine the effect of Corporate Financial Performance (CFP) and Corporate Environmental Performance (CEP) on Corporate Sustainability Performance (CSP) with the Board of Independence (BOI) as a moderating variable. The research population consists of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Through purposive sampling, a sample of 23 companies was obtained from 2015 to 2015. 2021. The analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) using SmartPLS 4.0 software. The test results show that CFP has a positive effect on CSP. CEP has no effect on CSP. BOI is unable to moderate the effect of CFP on CSP. BOI can't strengthen the relationship between CEP and CSP.

Abstract

This study aims to provide empirical evidence regarding the tracer study of alumni of the Batam State Polytechnic Applied Business Administration Study Program (Case Study of Alumni 2015-2021). The research data is mainly sourced from questionnaires distributed to 227 alumni samples determined by the Krejcie & Morgan technique. Respondent characteristics are presented based on gender, type of class attended, year of graduation, and current domicile distribution. In addition, respondent data is presented based on the absorption of alumni which includes employment status, description of the respondent's current situation, type of work done, income, and how to get a job. The results showed that as many as 211 alumni (92.95%) had jobs that were relevant to the curriculum, but as many as 16 alumni (7.05%) did not have relevant jobs so that the Applied Business Administration Study Program curriculum had high relevance to the world of work.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the influence of Digital Marketing and Green Marketing on marketing performance and Sustainability Business of MSMEs Bandung regency. With the number of respondents as many as 100 MSMEs actors. The instrument in the questionnaire is measured using a Likert scale (5 scales), while the variables are 1) Independent Variables consisting of Digital Marketing and Green Marketing, 2) Dependent Variable is Sustainability Business, 3) Mediating Variable is Marketing Performance analysis used in this study is path analysis. The results show that only Digital Marketing and Green Marketing has positive influence on sustainability business of MSMEs Bandung regency through marketing performance.
