Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) characteristics and corporate governance mechanisms on the level of water disclosure in public companies in Indonesia following the implementation of the 2021 edition of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) 303. Independent variables include CEO age and CEO-Founder status, with independent commissioners as a moderating variable. Control variables include company age, company size, return on assets, leverage, and Big-4 auditors. Data were obtained from non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2021–2023 period, with a total of 647 annual observations. The analysis used panel data regression with cluster robust standard errors. The results show that CEO age and CEO-Founder have a significant negative effect on water disclosure, while the interaction between CEO-Founder and independent commissioners has a significant positive effect. These findings confirm that corporate governance and performance play a greater role in driving water disclosure than CEO demographic factors.

Abstract

The study analyzes the adoption dynamics and structural barriers of the E-Keurani system at the Aceh Civil Service Agency. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were gathered from six key informants via purposive sampling. Findings reveal that while the technology is sound, adoption remains in a transitional phase hindered by a centralized operator model and the absence of unified standard operating procedures (SOPs). These issues create administrative bottlenecks and adaptation challenges, particularly among senior staff. The study identifies a shift from instructive to persuasive internal marketing as the critical link to reinforce the system’s value. The results imply that public sector digital transformation requires a holistic integration of internal marketing and transformational leadership to evolve simple administrative compliance into a sustainable digital organizational culture.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of workload, compensation, and work environment on employee performance in the Goods/Services Procurement Work Unit (UKPBJ) of East Java Province, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable and motivation as a moderating variable. The study used a quantitative explanatory approach with data collected from 90 respondents. The research model analysis used Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the help of SmartPLS 4 software. The results obtained indicate that workload, compensation, and work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. However, motivation does not moderate the relationship between workload, compensation, and work environment on employee performance. Job satisfaction significantly mediates the influence of the work environment on employee performance. These findings emphasize the importance of managing work demands and strengthening organizational resources in improving employee performance in public sector procurement institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to identify challenges, mitigate strategies, and develop an operational efficiency framework for fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. Using a systematic literature review (SLR) with PRISMA rules, 14 articles (2023-2025) were obtained, which were then analyzed using the Hexagon socio-technical system (STS) model. The analysis revealed social challenges such as competency gaps and cultural resistance, as well as technical challenges such as infrastructure limitations and data security issues. Mitigation strategies include digital competency training, the implementation of an enterprise architecture framework, and the adoption of hybrid infrastructure. This study proposes a joint optimization-based framework that aligns organizational readiness, technical execution, and balances the two toward operational efficiency. It is recommended that inclusive change management, investment in flexible infrastructure, and alignment of technology roadmaps with strategic company performance indicators be implemented.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how job stress and workload affect the performance of micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) owners who perform multiple roles simultaneously, and to analyze the role of entrepreneurial orientation as a moderating variable in this relationship. The study used a survey method of 114 multi-role MSME owners in Surabaya City. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using the PLS-SEM method. The analysis results indicate that job stress and workload negatively influence the performance of MSME owners. In addition, entrepreneurial orientation has been proven to be able to reduce the negative impact of job stress and workload on business performance. These findings indicate that entrepreneurial orientation plays a role as a personal resource that helps entrepreneurs manage work demands more adaptively. This study provides a theoretical contribution to the development of entrepreneurship studies based on the Job Demands–Resources framework.

Abstract

The study analyzes the impact of financial literacy, financial inclusion, and income levels on the savings behavior of lecturers and staff at the University of Paz (UNPAZ) in Timor-Leste. The methodology used was quantitative, with a survey conducted on 120 respondents selected through proportional random sampling. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling–partial least squares (SEM-PLS). The results showed that financial inclusion and income substantially influence savings behavior, although financial literacy did not have a significant effect. These findings indicate that in addition to financial knowledge, structural and economic variables such as access to financial services and income significantly influence savings behavior. These findings emphasize the importance of increasing financial inclusion by facilitating access to formal financial services as a more effective and sustainable approach to encouraging savings behavior.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the factors influencing customer intentions to choose credit products at Banco Nacional de Comércio Timor Leste, focusing on subjective norms, attitudes, and customer demographic factors. The study used a quantitative approach with the SEM-PLS method on 120 credit customers selected through a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that subjective norms and attitudes significantly influenced customer intentions to choose credit products. Marital status was also proven to have a significant influence on customer intentions and was able to strengthen the influence of subjective norms on the intention to choose credit products, but did not moderate the influence of attitudes on intentions. Education, gender, and age were found to have no significant influence on the intention to choose credit products. The findings of this study can be used as strategic considerations for banks and banking authorities in formulating more effective and efficient promotional strategies, credit education, and financial behavior.
