Abstract

This article examines the formation, role, and transformation of the Regional Customary Institution (LAD) of North Padang Lawas Regency as a political instrument in local governance dynamics. Historically, the LAD was established to maintain the cultural values, customary structures, and social systems of the Mandailing-Angkola community, which still adheres to the principles ofDalihan NatoluHowever, in the context of local politics, LAD not only carries out cultural functions, but also plays a strategic role in the formation of public opinion, political mobilization, and the legitimacy of candidates in electoral contests. Through a sociological approach and Pierre Bourdieu's capital theory, this article shows that LAD is an arena for the conversion of social, cultural, and symbolic capital utilized by local political elites. Thus, the existence of LAD not only functions as an institution for cultural preservation, but also becomes a significant political instrument in the local democratic process in North Padang Lawas Regency.

Abstract

Ronald Mole: Development of Learning Media Using Educandy Game to Improve Digital Literacy of Grade V Students of Citra Bangsa Christian Elementary School Kupang. This research uses the ADDIE model in making games which consists of 5 steps, namely the stages (Analysis) Analysis, (Design) Design, (Develop) Development, (Implement) Implementation, and (Evaluate) Evaluation where this research produces learning media in the form of games with the Educandy application which consists of 5 games, namely:  Noughts & Crosses, Crosswords, Match-up, Memory, and Multiple Choise which were developed by each fifth grade student of Citra Bangsa Kupang Christian Elementary School and proven to be effective in increasing students' digital literacy with a very feasible category. The use of learning media with Educady Application to improve digital literacy shows that the games made by researchers are effective to use with a final score of 87% and a very feasible level of achievement as ICT learning media in improving digital literacy of grade V students of Citra Bangsa Kupang Christian Elementary School. Educandy as a means of making test instruments that are very suitable for the development of this all-digital era has proven to be able to encourage the development of literacy of fifth grade students of Citra Bangsa Christian Elementary School.

Abstract

Village Lali Gadget is a children's tourist destination located in Sidoarjo. This study aims to identify the strengths and weaknesses of human capital in the management of Kampung Lali Gadget and formulate implications for its development for the sustainability of the program. This study uses qualitative methods through in-depth interviews with initiators and managers, observation of activities, and documentation searches to support the analysis. Human capital analysis refers to the five components of human capital according to Mayo (2000), Individual Capability, Individual Motivation, Leadership, The Organizational Climate, and Workgroup Effectiveness. The results of the study show that Kampung Lali Gadget has strengths in commitment, adaptability, and strong collaboration. However, there are still limitations in technical capacity and uneven competency levels. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening human capital to achieve the sustainability of Kampung Lali Gadget as a community-based educational and tourist space.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the challenges of shaping Islamic character among university students in the digital era, where social media platforms such as Instagram significantly influence young people’s behavior and religious values. The main problem of this study lies in the limited innovation of Islamic education that utilizes digital platforms effectively to instill religiosity and moral values. The purpose of this study is to analyze the innovation of using Instagram as a learning and digital da’wah medium to strengthen Islamic character among university students. The research applies a qualitative approach with a literature study method, reviewing various studies and practices of Islamic education through social media. The results show that Instagram can serve as an effective medium to reinforce Islamic values through educational content such as Qur’anic quotes, short videos, infographics, and lecturer-student collaborations. The use of digital media is proven to enhance students’ understanding of moral values, active participation, and religious awareness when applied strategically and with educational orientation. This innovation aligns with the principles of student-centered learning and contextual education, positioning social media not only as entertainment but as a creative and relevant learning space for developing students’ Islamic character.

Abstract

Education is the most important thing in life which is one of the platforms to deepen knowledge and hone skills. Education can be obtained through formal and informal learning. Education involves many people including learners (students), educators, administrators, parents and the community. Therefore, in order for educational goals to be achieved effectively and efficiently, everyone involved in it must understand the behavior of related individuals. The problem that is often faced in the world of education is the weak learning process. In the era of scientific and technological advances, of course, the world of education must keep up with the times. Because (Zubaidah & Sulistyaningrum, 2020).  One of the efforts to improve the quality of learning outcomes is through improving teaching materials by using the right learning approach/model (Putra et al., 2017). (Putra et al., 2017). The challenges of world education in Electronic-based learning (Damuri et al., 2021) certainly require approaches related to educational problems in the form of questionnaires, questionnaires, interviews, and interactive learning media in digital form, but in reality students find it difficult to apply procedures for making learning media in the form of multimedia and besides that how they must be able to collaborate with the understanding of multimedia with the mathematics learning process so that in the learning process students easily understand (Supriyanto, 2020). The method used is research and development (R&D). Research has commercial interests in relation to pure scientific research and applicative development in the field of technology while development is the process of making, testing feasibility until revision. The subjects of this study were students in the D IV Anesthesiology Nursing study program in semester VI. They were selected by purposive sampling and the types of data taken were qualitative and quantitative. Data were collected through questionnaires and tests.

Abstract

This study aims to design a visual icon for Janti Park as a community-based identity for a local tourism destination. Although Janti Park has been widely recognized in the Solo Raya region, it has not yet established a consistent icon to represent its identity. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, involving in-depth interviews with the management of Bumdes Jaya Janti, direct field observations, and consultations with stakeholders. Academically, this research highlights the importance of community participation in visual identity design and contributes to the literature on local tourism branding. Practically, the icon serves as a branding strategy to strengthen Janti Park’s promotional efforts and ensure consistency in its visual identity. Socially, the icon reinforces community ownership of Janti Park and symbolizes appreciation for local stakeholders’ contributions.

Abstract

This study positions human behavior at the core of social welfare practice, showing how cognitive (beliefs and judgments), affective (emotions and relatedness), and conative (intentions and volition) processes translate into social functioning across micro meso macro contexts. Through a structured literature review, it synthesizes evidence that attitudes, perceived norms, and perceived control shape intentions and, when supported by self-efficacy, modeling, feedback, and social support, increase adherence, participation, and persistence. The analysis integrates ecological perspectives, emphasizing the role of families, peer networks, service organizations, and policy arrangements in enabling or constraining action by altering information, time, and administrative costs. It proposes a cross-disciplinary framework linking assessment, intervention, and evaluation: assess specific beliefs, emotions, perceived barriers, and stage of change; design multi-level strategies that combine targeted education, skills practice, peer support, and procedural simplification; and monitor proximate indicators (intention, self-efficacy, perceived control, and barriers) alongside administrative outputs. By aligning individual goals with system change such as reducing administrative burden, offering low-cost reminders, and strengthening community partnerships the framework lowers structural frictions and normalizes prosocial choices. The result is a pragmatic, context-sensitive pathway for social workers to foster durable behavior change while safeguarding equity and dignity.

Abstract

This study examines the role of islamic religious education (PAI) teachers in enhancing students character integrity through in depth learning at smk dharma karya jakarta.using qualitative descriptive methods,data were collected through observation,interviews,and documentation.the results indicate that pai teachers act as moral guides and reflection facilitators,linking islamic values to students real lives.through reflective discussions,learning projects,and authentic assesments,teachers are able to fostur the values of honesty,responsibility,and discipline in a more in depth manner.in depth learning has proven effective in strengthening students character integrity.

Abstract

The concept of collaborative governance can be used in the development of ecotourism as a solution to overcome the welfare problems of indigenous Papuans and strengthen local cultural identity. The purpose of this study is to analyze (1) collaborative governance in the development of ecotourism based on local wisdom in Biak Numfor Regency, (2) Supporting and inhibiting factors in the development of ecotourism based on local wisdom in Biak Numfor Regency, (3) How is the recommendation of the collaborative governance model in the development of ecotourism based on local wisdom in Biak Numfor Regency, (4) Recommendations for policy models in the development of ecotourism based on local wisdom in Biak Numfor Regency, (4) Recommendations for policy models in the development of ecotourism based on local wisdom in Biak Numfor Regency? Biak Numfor Regency that is effective and sustainable. The research method used in this study is qualitative, data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, documentation, and focus group discussions. This study shows that the development of ecotourism based on local wisdom in Biak Numfor Regency has great potential because it is supported by local natural and cultural wealth and high awareness of indigenous peoples in protecting the environment through customary rules. However, this potential has not been balanced with effective governance, because management is still traditional, infrastructure is limited, human resource capacity is low, and local government budget support is minimal.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate a blockchain-based digitalization model for customary land registration and customary rights in Bone Bolango Regency. The urgency of this research is driven by the need to transform the traditional registration system, which still relies on manual archives and oral legitimacy, into a secure, transparent digital system that aligns with local wisdom. The theoretical framework used encompasses customary rights, digital governance, and blockchain governance. The research method utilizes an ethnographic approach through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with customary leaders, village officials, and the community, as well as analysis of historical documents and regulations related to customary land. The research findings indicate that customary land records in Bone Bolango are still vulnerable to loss, damage, and lack formal legal force, weakening the position of indigenous communities in disputes. On the other hand, the community, especially the younger generation and village officials, demonstrates openness to digitalization, despite limited digital literacy and infrastructure. The potential for blockchain implementation is identified through its advantages in ensuring data immutability, transparency, and its ability to integrate customary values through smart contracts. Blockchain can be a strategic solution to address the weaknesses of traditional record-keeping while strengthening social legitimacy and legal protection of customary rights.
