Abstract

This study discusses best practices in managing multicultural character education in diversity-based schools. The results show that implementing multicultural values into the curriculum, learning activities, and school policies plays a significant role in creating an inclusive, tolerant, and harmonious educational environment. Success factors are supported by educator competence, policies that accommodate diversity, and active participation from the surrounding community. However, several challenges were identified, such as limited teacher training, inconsistency in policy implementation, and lack of public awareness of the importance of diversity values. This study recommends intensive and continuous training for teachers to improve their understanding of managing diversity. In addition, the development of a curriculum that explicitly integrates multicultural values and policies that support an inclusive culture in schools is highly recommended. Community involvement is also an important element in strengthening the implementation of multicultural education. By implementing these strategic steps, multicultural character education is expected to be an effective solution in building tolerance, cooperation, and social cohesion in a pluralistic society.

Abstract

Social justice and human rights (HR) are fundamental elements in a fair legal system. However, the realization of these principles in Indonesia still faces various challenges, such as the increasing number of human rights violations, discrimination against minority groups, and limited access to education and legal services. The legal education system, which remains largely theoretical, also contributes to the gap between conceptual understanding and the practical skills of law students in addressing social justice and human rights issues. The clinical legal education (CLE) method serves as an innovative approach in legal education by providing students with direct experience in handling real cases. Through legal clinics, students develop legal analysis, negotiation, and advocacy skills, as well as a heightened social awareness. However, the implementation of this method in Indonesia still encounters obstacles, such as limited resources, regulatory barriers, and a lack of institutional support. This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of legal clinics in enhancing students' understanding and awareness of social justice and human rights. Using a qualitative approach, this research evaluates the design, implementation, and impact of student participation in clinical legal programs. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of a more practical and socially oriented legal education policy. With more systematic support from universities, the government, and legal institutions, legal clinics can serve as a strategic instrument in shaping a generation of legal professionals who are not only competent but also deeply committed to upholding human rights principles.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of video-based instructional media. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Validation was conducted by two experts assessing content feasibility, language, presentation, and graphic design, resulting in an average score of 3.58, categorized as highly valid. The practicality of the media was measured through observer assessments, achieving 92.5%, indicating ease of use and comprehension by students. Effectiveness testing was carried out using a one-group pre-test and post-test experimental design, yielding an average gain score of 0.62, classified as high. The findings indicate that video-based instructional media effectively enhances students’ comprehension. The study's implications suggest that this media can serve as an innovative learning alternative, but improvements in visual aspects, background sound, and text-image proportion are necessary for optimal performance. Further research is recommended to test this media on a broader population and compare it with other instructional methods. Therefore, the development of video-based learning media should continue to improve interactive and efficient learning experiences.

Abstract

Corruption is one of the main issues that hinder national development and weaken the legal system in Indonesia. Anti-corruption education serves as an effective preventive strategy by instilling the values of honesty, integrity, and legal awareness from an early age. The legal harmonization approach in anti-corruption education aims to create a more integrated, coherent, and effective legal system in combating corruption. Through legal harmonization, regulations related to corruption eradication can be aligned to reduce overlapping rules and enhance the effectiveness of law enforcement. This legal harmonization-based anti-corruption education model is expected to strengthen the national legal system and foster a stronger legal culture within society. This study employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach to analyze the relevance of legal harmonization in anti-corruption education and its impact on the national legal system. The research findings indicate that anti-corruption education based on legal harmonization can improve public understanding of the legal system, encourage active participation in public policy oversight, and reinforce government transparency and accountability.

Abstract

The Teacher Mobilization Program (PGP) is one of the strategic initiatives of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia to produce learning leaders who are able to create a quality learning environment. However, in Riau Province, the graduation rate for participants in this program shows significant variations between different classes. This research aims to analyze the relationship between the interests and competencies of Driving Teachers and their graduation rates in the Driving Teacher Program in Riau Province. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. Data was obtained through a questionnaire distributed to PGP participants from class 9 to class 11 in Riau Province. The data analysis technique uses the Pearson correlation test and multiple linear regression to measure the influence of interest and competency on graduation rates. The research results show that both interest and competency have a significant relationship with graduation rates. Teachers with high interest and competence have a greater opportunity to complete the program with optimal results. Simultaneously, the combination of interest and competence showed a greater influence on participant success than each factor individually. These findings can be used as a reference for policy makers in designing strategies to increase the readiness and competence of PGP participants in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of school culture on student learning motivation at SMAN 2 Mataram. School culture, which encompasses the values, norms, and practices developed within the school environment, plays a significant role in shaping student motivation. The research employs a mixed-method approach, consisting of descriptive observation and literature review, to understand the dynamics of school culture and its impact on student motivation. The findings indicate that a positive school culture, such as discipline, hard work, and strong teacher-student relationships, can enhance student learning motivation. Student involvement in extracurricular activities also contributes to their increased motivation. However, challenges such as motivation gaps between students and limited resources need to be addressed to build an ideal school culture. The study suggests the importance of strong leadership, parental involvement, and adequate facilities to foster a positive school culture and improve student learning motivation
