Abstract

This study aims to examine the process of fostering independence in early childhood at KB Melati Indah. The main issue addressed is how this institution implements strategies to develop independence in young children, particularly through the habituation of thaharah practices. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that KB Melati Indah has successfully implemented various effective strategies in fostering independence, such as providing real-life examples and involving children in daily activities that require independence. The habituation of thaharah practices is also taught consistently, helping children understand the importance of cleanliness and personal responsibility. Challenges include limited facilities and support from parents, but these can be overcome through a more integrative and participative approach. Overall, this research demonstrates that with the right strategies, educational institutions can help early childhood develop the independence necessary for their readiness in entering the next level of education.

Abstract

Directed coloring activities can be said to be activities that provide students with the opportunity to color based on imagination and in accordance with the teacher's instructions. The aim of this research is not only to determine the increase in children's creativity, but also to determine the effect of using resin brackets as a medium to improve children's fine motor skills at the Al-Walida Bungah Gresik Kindergarten. The method used in this research is quantitative using primary and secondary data sources. The population and sample used was 25 children. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation methods. Meanwhile, technical data analysis uses validity and reliability tests, and simple linear regression analysis. The results of the regression equation analysis, the regression coefficient This may be because the activity of coloring resin brackets can indirectly train children's motor skills. The results of the research are based on data analysis and hypothesis testing, so the conclusions that can be put forward in this research are as follows: the resin bracket coloring activity has a significant influence on the fine motor development of Group A children (4-5 years old). This is shown by the t-count value of 2,598> 1,717 with a significance value of 0.02> 0.05 with a significance level of 5%. It is hoped that research like this can provide input for educators to be more creative in providing coloring activities with interesting media, so that Children are interested every time they see the picture shown by the teacher.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the ability to recognize shapes through geometric twister games at As-Sayyidi Kindergarten. The classroom action research method used in this research is the Kemmis & Mc Tagaart model which consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection.  Data collection techniques use observation and documentation. The research subjects were 14 children, namely 8 boys and 6 girls. The results showed that there were 6 children who completed the pre-cycle with a percentage of 42.8%, in cycle I this increased to 8 children with a percentage of 57.1%, and in cycle II it increased to 12 children with a percentage of 85.7%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that through the geometric twister game, children at As-Sayyidi Kindergarten can improve their ability to recognize shapes.

Abstract

Low learning motivation will affect the level of children's achievement in the learning process, thus teachers are required to be able to solve the problem of low children's learning motivation. The purpose of this study was to examine the role of teachers in generating early childhood learning motivation at TK PGRI Ibadurrahman Mande, Bima City both in the learning process and outside of learning. The method used is qualitative with a field approach, data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation and data analysis using techniques pioneered by Miles and Huberman. The results with the concept of constructive learning can provide stimulation to children so that they have high learning motivation. The concept of constructive learning includes learning outside the classroom (out class), utilisation of technology and exploration of nature. Then the teacher's applicable steps in maintaining children's learning motivation are by involving the role of the family to always create a learning space in every activity. In addition to the challenges faced by children such as, peers, family environment, technological advances and the school environment, in fact the concept of constructive learning by involving the role of the family is able to maintain children's learning motivation while having a high spirit of learning.

Abstract

Improving the social quality of individuals can be achieved through interaction and adaptation of behavior in society according to accepted guidelines. In this case, Rapai Geleng dance is proven as an effective tool to stimulate social growth in early childhood. This study was directed at measuring the impact of Rapai Geleng dance training on social development in children aged 5 to 6 years at RA Safinatul Najjah Manggeng. The focus of the study was on 12 children, divided into 7 girls and 5 boys. The method used is quantitative experimental with a single group testing design before and after the experiment. The study used the whole sample and collected data through observation and documentation. Data analysis used an independent t-test to compare scores before and after the experiment. The results showed a marked improvement in the social skills of the children who engaged in Rapai Geleng dance, with an increase in the mean score from 6.5 to 17.5. Hypothesis testing confirmed the significant difference in scores, resulting in a T count of 7.888 which is greater than the T table of 1.796, with degrees of freedom (df) 11 and a significance value (p-value) of 0.00, which is lower than 0.05. This data reinforces the conclusion that Rapai Geleng dance is effective in supporting children's social development.

Abstract

It is very important to implement discipline in early childhood, to train discipline in early childhood in terms of developing social emotions in children. As this research aims to determine the social-emotional development of children aged 5-6 years before the movement and singing methods were implemented at RA Al-Fajar Denai, how the movement and singing methods were implemented at RA al-Fajar Denai to improve the socio-emotive development of children aged 5 -6 years old, and whether movements and singing methods can improve the social emotional development of children aged 5-6 years at RAAl-Fadar Denai. Apart from observations and compilation of supporting materials, this study uses a classroom action research approach. Using a collaboration paradigm that emphasizes cooperation between researchers and teachers, this Classroom Action Study was carried out for two months, from February to March 2024, in Raudhatul Atfhal Al-Fajar Denai, Kec. At RA Al-Fajar Denai, researchers collaborated with group teachers to plan, implement, observe and think about activities during two work cycles. From the research results, which were produced using movement and song as methods, the findings are very relevant to children's social-emotional development. Specifically, the data we obtained showed that 6.7% of children who had previously not progressed and 13.3% of children who had developed as expected had not progressed, and that 20% and 80% of children had developed very well, respectively. achieved the desired category of 65%. We can conclude that the movement and song methods that have been used have a great influence on the social emotional development of children aged 5-6 years. .

Abstract

This research aims to improve the pre-writing skills of early childhood by using sand media. The research method used is the classroom action research (PTK) method which is carried out in stages, namely planning, taking action, observing and analyzing or reflecting. The subjects of this research were 15 children aged 5-6 years in one of the schools in the city of Jakarta. Sand media was chosen because it has a texture and properties that can stimulate children's motor sensors and is expected to help children develop pre-writing skills. The results of the research show that children's writing skills in the initial conditions and cycle I have not reached the performance indicators. The results of research in the second cycle show that the use of sand media can significantly improve children's pre-writing abilities, as seen from the increase in accuracy and neatness and the shape of the letters they make. Thus, sand media can be used as an effective alternative in learning pre-writing in early childhood education.

Abstract

Creativity is an essential skill that needs to be developed from an early age. Therefore, this study aims to determine the impact of the Project Based Learning method on the creativity of children aged 5-6 years in the Merdeka Curriculum at TK Dharma Wanita. This research employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The research design used is a pretest-posttest experiment with a control group. Data was analyzed using SPSS. Data collection was carried out through observation and children's creativity assessments. The results showed that the average creativity score of children in the experimental group (87.40) was significantly higher than that of the control group (77.60). This finding indicates that the implementation of the Project Based Learning method has a positive and significant effect on enhancing the creativity of children aged 5-6 years. This research aligns with the goals of the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes the development of children's creativity and skills. The implication is that the Project Based Learning method can be considered an effective learning approach to boost early childhood creativity within the context of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile is a graduate profile designed to help children develop the characters needed to become competent. Furthermore, it is hoped that this Pancasila student profile can help children uphold the values ​​of Pancasila. The aim of this research is to determine the application of the creative dimension in the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students at Kindergarten Kemala Bhayangkari 01 Palembang. This research uses a qualitative approach with the aim of describing how the creative dimension is implemented in the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students at Kindergarten Kemala Bhayangkari 01 Palembang Jalan. Bambang Utoyo Pakri Complex, Duku, District. Ilir Timur III, Palembang City. Data collection methods for this research are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this research are interviews, observation and documentation, while technical data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing or verification. The results obtained by Kindergarten Kemala Bhayangkari 01 Palembang have implemented the creative dimension of the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students well. In implementing the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students, it can be seen that the project implementation was carried out as it should. Where, teachers must really understand every project given to children. In co-curricular learning, teachers prepare activities related to children's creativity. Thus, strengthening the profile of Pancasila students in the creative dimension has been embedded in children. Expected aChildren can maintain and increase enthusiasm in the learning process and project activities to strengthen the Pancasila student profile so that they can grow the spirit of the Pancasila student profile in each of them.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the cognitive abilities of TK Lumbung Sari children are still lacking in learning activities, so to help children develop their cognitive abilities, a medium is needed that is used in the learning process such as busy jar. Busy jar is a tube-shaped media from plastic material which in the bottle cap there are holes of various shapes such as geometric shapes. This study aims to train cognitive in early childhood. The purpose of this study is to train early childhood self-confidence and to teach children geometric shapes, train children's fine motor skills and increase children's vocabulary in mentioning geometric shapes and colors. This study uses qualitative research methods, data collection techniques used in this study are observation and interviews. The subjects in this study were 23 students at TK Lumbung Sari. This study uses observation and interviews in collecting data.  This study shows the results where when playing busy jar students are very happy to carry out this busy jar play activity but there are some students when playing this game at the Pre-test stage there are those whose abilities have not developed, so the researcher sees the child's development at the next stage, namely the post-test stage and from the results of this simulation stage the student's ability has begun to develop so that the results of this busy jar game can be concluded that busy jar games are suitable for cognitive and motor training in children and have a positive impact received by early childhood.
