Abstract

This study aims to determine parents' perceptions of early childhood sex education in class B students of Sakinah Islamic Kindergarten, and relate it to theories about parents' views, interpretations and assessments of early childhood sex education in class B students of Sakinah Islamic Kindergarten. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine parents' perceptions of early childhood sex education in class B students at Sakinah Islamic Kindergarten. This study uses a descriptive narrative qualitative research approach. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that parents' views of sex education for early childhood are seen only as limited to the relationship between people who are already married or the relationship between husband and wife. Parents' interpretation of early childhood sex education is to provide understanding to children about which parts of the body are allowed to be touched, as well as to provide understanding to children about differences in male and female body parts. Parents' assessment of early childhood sex education is that they disagree about the existence of sex education for early childhood, because it is considered an unnatural thing if it is applied too early.

Abstract

The use of multimedia learning media can be an effective means of improving the storytelling abilities of young children. By utilizing multimedia, children are not only actively involved in the learning process, but also develop creativity, imagination and speaking skills. Focusing on the needs and characteristics of children in the early stages of development is key in the process of developing learning media. This research aims to create interactive multimedia storytelling, specifically designed to improve storytelling skills in early childhood. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) research method by applying the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model to ensure success. development process. This multimedia storytelling is not only designed to provide an interesting and interactive learning experience, but also involves young children as test subjects. The research results show that there is success in developing multimedia storytelling in Sultan Fatah Demak Kindergarten class B aged 5-6 years through the CapCut application as an effective tool in facilitating multimedia learning. Abstract

The introduction and utilization of local cultural wisdom from an early age are important for children's development, especially amidst challenges in early childhood education such as limited resources and lack of interest in formal learning. This study aimed to implement Loose Part learning with local wisdom at KB Mutiara Karanggondang. The results showed high levels of enthusiasm among children towards Loose Part play, demonstrating the potential of this approach in effectively facilitating early childhood development. Integrating local wisdom into learning not only enhances children's engagement but also strengthens their identity with local culture. This research also highlights the importance of culturally relevant teaching methods in the context of early childhood education, which not only enhances learning experiences but also enriches local values in their education. Thus, this study provides a substantial contribution to improving sustainable educational approaches. By combining pedagogical innovation and local cultural wisdom, early childhood education can become more relevant, enjoyable, and significantly beneficial for children's holistic development.

Abstract

Reading the Koran is one of the lessons given to young children to develop children's religious potential. The aim of this research is to describe the process of improving the ability to read the Al-Qur'an through the tahfizh method at the Early Childhood Education School in Teluk Pulai Dalam Village, Kualuh Leidong. The research method in this research is Classroom Action research. The tahfizh method used by Fithri PAUD teachers in Teluk Pulai Dalam Village little by little, with regular repetition, young children at Fithri PAUD are starting to be able to memorize one, two or three short surahs as taught by their teachers in class. Based on Classroom Action Research conducted in cycle I, information was obtained that the level of student ability in cycle I was 18% in the fluent category, 29% in the moderate category, and 53% in the poor category. After carrying out the second cycle using the Tahfizh Method, information was obtained that the level of students' ability in the second cycle was 53% in the fluent category, 29% in the moderate category, and 18% in the poor category, after carrying out the third cycle, the level of students' ability in the third cycle was 82% in the fluent category, the medium category is 18% while the less category is 0%. Abstract

The aim of this research is to reintroduce the traditional Balinese game dolanan, whose existence needs to be maintained so that it is not eroded by the era that is starting to be touched by modern culture. The type of research used is literature review research with a focus on the traditional Balinese game "Dolanan". The data sources obtained are based on the results of identification, evaluation and synthesis of research work produced by practitioners and previous researchers such as articles, books and other documents whose authenticity can be verified. The results of the research reveal that dolanan is starting to be rarely seen and even the existence of "dolanan" is decreasing and starting to be abandoned, especially in urban areas that have touched western culture. This is also due to the current learning system which has the smell of modern and contemporary technology. Therefore, efforts are needed to refresh or reintroduce the traditional Balinese game dolanan, whose existence needs to be maintained so that it is not eroded by the times that are starting to be touched by modern culture. Training on the art of dolanan in schools is important to carry out, especially in schools which are in urban areas where if you look at the large number of children who often communicate using Indonesian rather than Balinese. Re-introducing young children to the existence of the traditional dolanan game is very important carried out as an effort to develop aspects of art in early childhood.

Abstract

One of the important aspects of development in children is cognitive development which strengthens children's reasoning, how children manage information, how children overcome curiosity, children's self-management of difficulties encountered when they want to explore their high curiosity, apart from providing knowledge about things. -things around can also help children in terms of exporting their surroundings. The aim of this research is that children can sharpen their memory, intuition, focus and be able to solve problems independently using the monoplay box game media. The qualitative method is the method used to observe the subjects studied, namely 21 Kindergarten B1 children at Wisma Sari Kindergarten Denpasar. In accumulating the data used, namely observation, interviews and checklists. The gains obtained from this research can be seen from the Pre- Simulation period, 1st period, 2nd period and 3rd period after using the Monoplay Box game in the observations that have been made, it can increase the cognitive development of the aud through the Monoplay Box game with the results experiencing a significant increase.

Abstract

This research began with the problem of the lack of digital-based media through GAMAKE media in improving creative thinking skills. Creative thinking is one of the important skills that young children must have and needs to be developed from an early age, especially in children aged 5-6 years. Creative thinking skills can help children solve problems, think critically, and develop new ideas. And also this research aims to determine the feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of the GAMAKE media to improve creative thinking abilities in children aged 5-6 years using GAMAKE media. This type of research uses the R&D (Research and Development). By using the ASSURE development model (Analysis Learner, State Objectives, Select Methods, Media and Materials, Utilize Technology, Media and Materials, Require Learner Participation, Evaluation and Review). In the feasibility test of the media it will be tested on material expert lecturers and media expert lecturers. From the results of the feasibility test for material validation expert lecturers and media validation expert lecturers, the material validation expert lecturers obtained a score of 93%, while media validation expert lecturers received 90%. And the results of product trials at TKM NU 43 Kanjeng Sepuh Sidayu on 18 children aged 5-6 years obtained an assessment from the observation sheet of 86%, so it can be concluded that all statement items were declared valid and suitable to be used as research samples. So it can be concluded that the development of technology-based GAMAKE media by children aged 5-6 years or group B.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the quality and impact of free play and structured play learning processes in supporting early childhood development within the outdoor learning environments of PAUD Yogyakarta. A comparative descriptive methodology was employed, involving 177 students from five State Kindergartens in Yogyakarta. Data were collected through observations using a sheet that included indicators of active engagement, safety, social interaction, exploration, creativity, problem-solving, discipline, and emotional management. The results reveal that free play is more effective in supporting active engagement, exploration, and creativity in children, while structured play better supports safety and discipline. Independent t-tests were conducted on the data from the free play and structured play learning processes to determine whether significant differences existed between the two play activities. The findings indicate a substantial difference between the methods, with a p-value of 0.039455, below the significance threshold of 0.05, showing that free play has a more positive impact on child development. According to the data, free play excels in terms of active engagement (96.63%), social interaction (83.15%), exploration (94.38%), creativity (77.53%), problem-solving (79.78%), and emotional management (71.91%). Conversely, structured play supports safety (98.86%) and discipline (94.32%). This research has implications for the future learning process in early childhood education in Yogyakarta, as it helps teachers and school principals realize the importance of outdoor learning activities in free play to support the holistic development of children.

Abstract

The everyday program is one of the habituation programs that is carried out every day to develop children's noble character but, in its implementation there are still some children who do not concentrate, play, and talk to themselves. The purpose of the research is to describe, find out the inhibiting and encouraging factors, and find out the impact of the everyday program to develop noble morals. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The results of this study concluded that the description of the everyday program is a program of habituation to read short letters in tartil interspersed with the cultivation of morning aqidah which aims to make children have a basic Islamic religion and recognize short letters from an early age. This program is a superior activity that is supported by the safari dhuha program, the Friday clean program, and environmental love activities. Supporting factors of this program include educators, evaluation, reward and punishment, motivation, follow-up, and infrastructure. While the inhibiting factors include the community environment, family environment, and internal factors. The impact of the everyday program is to increase love for the Qur'an, increase the skill of reading the Qur'an, especially in tajweed, increase faith in Allah SWT by worshiping, and have an impact on noble character because children are always accustomed to doing good things such as attitude, speech, and actions so that they can make good traits and character for children.

Abstract

Growing awareness of loving the environment in early childhood is an investment for the future. When children are raised by taking care of the environment, the environment will take care of them in the future, and vice versa. The aim of this research is to analyze the role of mothers in fostering ecoliteracy in TKIT Azkia group B children. This research uses qualitative methodology. Data collection methods are interviews, observation and separate document analysis. The results of this research are that mothers provide examples and get children used to using enough water, turning off the water tap after use, cooking for children and providing tumblers for children to drink in, thus minimizing children's frequent snacks outside and the use of single-use plastic bottles.
