Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of readiness to change, cloud services, workforce transformation, and IT for e-commerce on performance sustainability, with perceived strategic value serving as a moderating variable. This study tested eight hypotheses using a sample of 200 Indonesian SMEs. Additionally, Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was employed in the data analysis approach with the assistance of the SmartPLS version 3.0 program. SmartPLS 3.0 was used for its stability, dataset compatibility, and the team’s prior experience, despite SmartPLS 4 offering advanced predictive techniques. The outcome demonstrates that readiness to change, cloud service, workforce transformation, and IT for e-commerce have a significant positive effect on sustainability performance. Moreover, perceived strategic value has not been able to moderate the relationship between readiness to change, cloud service and sustainability performance while perceived strategic value is able to moderate the relationship between workforce transformation and IT for e-commerce on performance sustainability. This study's technology acceptance model hypothesis helps to understand how digital transformation is occurring in MSMEs. As for TAM, it comes from a psychological perspective that explains people who use digital products. It talks about attitudes, actions, dreams, and connections to technology usage.

Abstract

In the digital era, the integration of technology in learning has become essential, particularly in entrepreneurship education, which must adapt to rapid technological developments. This study aims to develop a technopreneurship-based e-module to strengthen entrepreneurial learning in line with digital transformation. Using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), the analysis phase included literature review and field observations to identify learning challenges and competency needs. The design phase involved formulating learning objectives, selecting relevant content, and defining instructional strategies aligned with technopreneurship principles. During the development phase, information and communication technology features such as multimedia, interactive content, animations, and instructional videos were incorporated to enhance student engagement. Implementation was conducted through classroom trials in entrepreneurship courses, followed by evaluation using tests and student questionnaires. The results show that the e-module effectively improves students’ understanding of entrepreneurial concepts, problem-solving abilities, and technology-oriented entrepreneurial attitudes. Additionally, students reported higher motivation and engagement due to the interactive and modern learning format. This research demonstrates that integrating digital competencies into entrepreneurship education can provide more innovative and relevant learning experiences. The developed e-module offers a practical reference for educators and curriculum developers seeking to enrich instructional strategies, promote student-centered learning, and support the development of digital-based entrepreneurial skills. Overall, this study confirms that technopreneurship e-modules can effectively bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and practical skills, enhancing both learning outcomes and students’ readiness for technology-driven entrepreneurial ventures.

Abstract

This study examines the role of teacher agency in enhancing the competencies of English teachers in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Indonesia. The research focuses on secondary school English teachers who were categorized based on their response to curriculum changes: proactive, reactive, and passive. The findings reveal that teachers exhibiting proactive teacher agency are more agile in adapting to the Independent Curriculum and demonstrate greater development in their pedagogical, social, and professional skills. They leverage the autonomy offered by the Independent Curriculum to innovate teaching practices, incorporating technology and interactive learning approaches. On the other hand, teachers with reactive responses require additional support, including training, time, and resources, to adjust effectively, while those with passive responses tend to cling to traditional teaching methods, showing resistance to change, which hinders their competency development. These results highlight the need for continuous professional development, adequate resources, and collaboration among teachers to ensure the successful adoption of the Independent Curriculum. Structural support and improved communication between schools and teachers are essential to facilitate the effective participation of all teachers, regardless of their level of agency, in implementing the new curriculum.

Abstract

This study investigates the key factors influencing the competitiveness of wealth tech firms in Indonesia, a sector that remains underdeveloped compared to global counterparts such as Toss, SoFi, Ping An. While global players leverage integrated platforms and internal data capabilities to drive user loyalty and value creation, Indonesian wealth tech companies primarily function as digital distribution channels. Using a combined approach of Porter’s Diamond Model, Value Rarity Inimitability Organization (VRIO) analysis, and Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM PLS), this research analyzes data from 317 financial industry respondents. Results reveal that only two internal resources existing customer base and corporate branding offer sustainable competitive advantages. External factors such as government regulation, supporting industries, and firm strategy also significantly shape competitiveness, though internal innovation, data integration, and personalized user engagement remain limited. The findings highlight the need for Indonesian wealth tech firms to invest in organizational readiness, ecosystem collaboration, and regulatory engagement to transition from support platforms to fully autonomous digital financial ecosystems. This study offers theoretical and practical implications for enhancing strategic positioning within Indonesia’s digital finance sector.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of a Theme-Based Learning Model within an edupreneurship framework to improve students’ reading achievement and learning independence. A mixed-method triangulation design was applied, combining quantitative data from pre- and post-tests and questionnaires with qualitative insights from student interviews. The participants were third-semester English education students categorized into four VARK learning styles: visual, auditory, reading/writing, and kinesthetic. Results indicate that all learning style groups experienced an improvement in reading achievement after the implementation of theme-based learning. Auditory and visual learners showed the most significant progress, while kinesthetic learners demonstrated moderate improvement. Questionnaire and interview findings further reveal that the model promotes learning independence, with visual learners exhibiting the highest level of autonomous learning behaviors. The integration of thematic content made learning more engaging and contextual, allowing students to connect reading activities with real-world scenarios, fostering critical thinking and creativity two essential competencies in edupreneurship. The study concludes that the Theme-Based Learning Model serves as an effective instructional approach that simultaneously enhances academic performance and cultivates independent learning. These findings provide valuable insights for educators and curriculum designers in integrating reading instruction with entrepreneurial oriented learning practices. The model is recommended for broader implementation across courses or institutions, as it aligns with 21st-century education goals by supporting student-centered learning, innovation, and lifelong learning.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a strategic enabler of digital transformation in the banking industry, improving operational efficiency, customer experience, and risk management. This study examines the extent of AI adoption in Indonesian commercial banks and analyzes how organizational characteristics influence implementation patterns. Using a descriptive and verificative research design, survey data were collected from 181 senior banking executives representing 30 commercial banks classified as KBMI II to KBMI IV. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and SmartPLS 4 to evaluate relationships between bank characteristics and AI integration. The findings indicate that 64.6% of banks have implemented AI, with adoption concentrated in digital operations (65.4%), customer analytics (51.6%), and risk management (23.9%). Larger banks, particularly KBMI IV institutions, exhibit significantly higher adoption intensity and implementation maturity than smaller banks. The structural model shows that organizational readiness, capital strength, and ownership structure positively influence AI integration, explaining a substantial proportion of variance in adoption levels. The study extends global research on AI in banking by providing empirical evidence from an emerging economy and demonstrates that AI adoption contributes to SDG 8 and SDG 9 by strengthening productivity, innovation, and financial resilience. The results suggest that banks should adopt differentiated implementation strategies based on their capital capacity, digital maturity, and strategic priorities.
