Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (i) untuk mengembangkan perangkat asesmen berbasis keterampilan proses sains pada praktikum anatomi fisiologi manusia dan (ii) untuk mengetahui kualitas perangkat asesmen berbasis keterampilan proses sains pada praktikum anatomi fisiologi manusia yang memiliki kriteria valid, reliabel, obyektif, dan praktis.          Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan metode riset pengembangan formatif research. Penelitian ini terdiri atas tiga tahap yaitu (i) self evaluation yang terdiri atas analisis dan pendesainan, (ii) Prototyping yang terdiri atas expert review dan small group, (iii)  field test. Perangkat asemen yang dikembangkan meliputi penuntun praktikum, perangkat asesmen pra praktikum, asesemen proses praktikum, asesmen pasca praktikum, dan penilaian aspek afektif. Uji coba dilakukan pada mahasiswa semester enam jurusan Pendidikan Biologi UIN Alauddin Makassar.          Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat asesmen yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria valid dengan rata-rata validitas isi 0,973, dan rata-rata validitas empiris 0,829,  rata-rata nilai  reliabilitas sebesar 0,805, obyektif dimana tidak ada perbedaan mean skor antara dua penilai, dan praktis dengan keterlaksanaan perangkat sebesar 3,6 yang berada pada kategori seluruhnya terlaksana.

Abstract

Dengan adanya jaringan internet pendidik dan peserta didik dapat mengakses dataapa saja dengan melakukan browsing ke berbagai penyedia data (server) diberbagai belahan bumi ini, artinya dengan adanya internet ini masalah ruang danwaktu tidak lagi menjadi batasan misalnya kita dapat mengakses data dariberbagai tempat di dunia ini dengan memanfaatkan layanan Yahoo. Hanya dalamhitungan detik berbagai data yang diperlukan berhasil kita akses dalam waktuyang singkat., tidak terkecuali, dalam pembelajaran Biologi. Dalam pembelajaranberbasis ICT, selain menggunakan perangkat komputer yang dilengkapidengan software nya, juga untuk mendukung kinerja ICT haruslah didukungdengan jaringan internet yang memadai. Hal ini akan memungkinkan peserta didikdan pendidik melaksanakan aktivitas pembelajaran tidak harus selalu bertatapmuka secara langsung, akan tetapi bisa dengan cara online yang terkoneksidengan jaringan internet.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the influence of reinforcement technique on student learning outcomes that aims to know (1) description of biology learning result of students of grade XI IPA of SMA Negeri 16 Makassar taught by applying reinforcement technique; (2) description of biology learning result of grade XI IPA student of SMA Negeri 16 Makassar taught without applying reinforcement technique and (3) influence of reinforcement technique toward biology student learning result of class XI IPA SMA 16  Makassar. This research is kind of Quasi Experimental Reserch research with Pretest-Postest Control Group Design Design research. The population of this study is all students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 16 Makassar, amounting to 252 students consisting of class XI IPA1 up to XI IPA7. The sample in this research is class XI IPA4 as control class which amounted to 36 people and student class XI IPA7 as experiment class which amounted to 36 people. Data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results of descriptive analysis of learning outcomes for the control class has an average value of 54.28. While the results of descriptive analysis of experimental class learning results have an average value of 75.17. Based on the classification of student learning outcomes, the average value of the control class is in the range of values 40-54 with low category whereas the average value of the experimental class is in the range of values of 75-89 with high category. Based on the result of hypothesis analysis by using t-test polled variance, tcount> ttable (10,631> 1,690) so Ho is rejected and H1 accepted. This means that there is influence of reinforcement techniques on student biology learning outcomes.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan argumentasi lisan siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research)  dengan penerapan Problem Based Learning yang meliputi lima tahapan pembelajaran, yaitu problem encounter, problem analysis and learning issues, discovery and reporting, solution presentation and reflection, dan overview integration and evaluation. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA di salah satu SMA di Surakarta yang berjumlah 37 siswa (19 laki-laki dan 18 perempuan). Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi proses pembelajaran biologi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan prosedur penelitian tindakan kelas mengikuti model penelitian dari Coghlan & Brannick. Penilaian keterampilan argumentasi lisan siswa mengacu pada McNeill & Krajcik terdiri dari claim, evidence, dan reasoning. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan argumentasi lisan siswa mengalami peningkatan dari level rendah ke level sedang dengan rata-rata skor keterampilan argumentasi lisan siswa pada prasiklus 0,19, siklus I 1,43, dan siklus II 3,49, serta rata-rata skor 5 pada siklus III. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan keterampilan argumentasi lisan siswa melalui Problem Based Learning di kelas XI MIPA pada pembelajaran biologi.Kata kunci: keterampilan argumentasi lisan, pembelajaran biologi, penelitian tindakan kelas, problem based learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian  deskriptif  yang bertujuan, untuk mengetahui (1) bagaimana efektifitas penggunaan alat peraga dalam pembelajaran biologi dengan pokok bahasan sirkulasi  darah manusia siswa kelas 2 di MAN binamu jeneponto (2) bagaimana penggunaan alat peraga dapat mengefektifkan pembelajaran biologi dengan pokok bahasan sirkulasi  darah manusia siswa kelas 2 di MAN binamu jeneponto.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas 2 MAN binamu jeneponto, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 2 IPA1 MAN binamu jeneponto, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 29 siswa dan 1 orang guru. Tehnik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui meode angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Tehnik analisis data menggunakan tehnik analisis deskriptif berupa tabel yang menunjukkan persentase setiap item. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa alat peraga sangat efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi.Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh jawaban siswa melalui angket dan hasil wawancara dengan guru biologi. Data tersebut umumnya menujukkan bahwa penggunaan alat peraga sangat efektif karena mempunyai banyak manfaat dalam pembelajaran biologi.  Manfaat tersebut antara lain : (1) manambah motivasi siswa, (2) meningkatkan keingintahuan  untuk memahami materi biologi, (3) meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, (4) memberi pengaruh positif kepada siswa, (5) memberikan rasa senang kepada siswa untuk tetap belajar dan masih banyak manfaat yang lainnya.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems derived from the observation that low motivation and activeness and student learning outcomes in learning biology, evident from the study of biology class VII SMP Negeri 2 Bajeng West, in general, students received grades that are still under the KKM. In this study, researchers used peer learning model Mediated Instruction and Intervention (PMII) type Peer Mediated Instruction And Intervention (CWPT) and learning model Think Pair-Share (TPS) to foster motivation and activeness of student learning.This study aims to (1) To determine the result of studying biology class VII SMP Negeri 2 Bajeng Gowa on the subject of diversity of living creatures that learned learning model Peer Mediated intruction and Invention (PMII) type Class Wide Peer Tutoring (CWPT) (2) to find out the results of studying biology class VII SMP Negeri 2 Bajeng Gowa on the subject of diversity of living creatures that learned and learning model Think Pair-Share (TPS) (3) to determine differences in learning outcomes biology class VII SMP Negeri 2 Bajeng Gowa on the subject of diversity of living creatures that learned to Peer Mediated learning model intruction and Intervention (PMII) type Class Wide Peer Tutoring (CWPT) and learning model Think Pair-Share (TPS).This study is a quasi-experimental research (quasi) using a pretest-posttest design nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study were all students of class VII SMP Negeri 2 Bajeng Gowa district in 2015/2016 academic year consisting of five study groups totaling 151 students, with a sample of 25 people in the class VIIB and 25 people in the class VIIA.The results showed that the obtained tcount 1,680 <ttable 2,000 and significance (0.000 <0.05), suggesting that H0 and H1 accepted, so it can be concluded that there is positive and significant difference in the application of learning models Peer Mediated Instruction and Intervention (PMII) type class Wide Peer Tutoring (CWPT) to class VIIB using learning model Think Pair-Share (TPS) for class VIIA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan produk bahan ajar berbasis riddle story. Dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil penelitian awal yang menunjukkan bahwa buku paket kurang menarik dan membuat siswa bosan menggunakannya dalam belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau researh and development yaitu metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk meneliti dan menghasilkan produk tertentu serta menguji efektifitas penggunaan produk tersebut untuk mencapai tujuan. Proses penelitiannya berusaha mendapatkan gambaran tentang bahan bejar yang digunakan siswa dan pengembangannya mengacu pada model pengembangan 4D yang dikolaborasikan dengan model pengembangan Borg dan Gall yang terdiri dari 4 (empat) tahap yaitu tahap pendefenisian, tahap perancangan, tahap pengembangan dan tahap penyebaran. Penelitian ini focus kepada deskripsi kebutuhan siswa terhadap bahan ajar, proses pengembangan dan keefektifan bahan ajar dalam mengantar siswa menguasai kompetensinya. Data hasil penelitian ini dianalisis secara kualitatif untuk menguji bahan ajar ini sehingga memenuhi kriteria layak pakai.

Abstract

This research aims at identifying the effect of formative assessment type towards the learning achievement of Natural Sciences. This study applied 2 x 2 factorial design experimental methods. The population of the research is all the fift grade students of elementary school number 03 and 05 of Rawamangun Eastern Jakarta, with 80 students as sample, implementing inferential statistic assessment with ANCOVA. The study concludes (1) having controlled the students' prior knowledge, the learning achievement of Natural Sciences of the group, which is given essay test formative assessment is difference than the achievement of those with multiple choice test, (2) having controlled the students' prior knowledge, the learning achievement of Natural Sciences of the group which is given essay test formative assessment is higher than the group in multiple choice tes.

Abstract

This study is a Quasi Experiment because this research has not fully controlled for factors internal and external research. Two rombel student of biology and biological ½ ¾ given application module system STLeS Biology Sel. The research location is housed in the building Tarbiyah and Teaching UIN Alauddin Makassar. This study aims to (1) determine student results before taught using Stiles modules Cell Biology Department of Biology Education class of 2015; (2) determine student results after Stiles taught using modules Cell Biology Department of Biology Education class of 2015; (3) the effect of the application of Cell Biology Stiles module to the learning outcomes of students in the class of 2015 the Department of Biology Education. The population in this study were all students of biology class biology ½ and ¾, the semester consisting of two classes or four groups. In this study, there were 75 people population, so that everything becomes the study sample consisted of two study groups. Each of the two study groups are learning to use the module Stiles Biology Sel. The results showed that (1) the results of student learning cell biology before taught using Stiles Module Cell Biology is an average of 49.24; (2) The study of cell biology students after being taught using Stiles Module Cell Biology is an average of 85.72; (3) Module Cell Biology Stiles affect the improvement of student learning outcomes biology education class of 2015. It can be seen from the analysis parameter estimation value sig. count (0,000) <sig. table (0.05). So the hypothesis was accepted because the significance value calculated is less than the significance of the table

Abstract

This study was a classroom action research. This study employed learning media of powerpoint. This media provided five facilities such as (1) design template, that can be applied for presentation one of which an animation, (2) custom show, that a file of presentation can be created in several versions, (3) office art, that provided a special graphic, (4) graphic file format, that can save picture file, and (5) delivering presentation, that provided easier presentation in any ways. The learning media was provided to improve students’ learning motivation which was expected to improve students’ activity and students’ learning achievement.The goal of this study was to examine the effectiveness of learning Biology of high school student trough the learning media of powerpoint. The objectives of this study were to examine (1) the effectiveness of the learning media of powerpoint through the score of learning motivation of Biology of high school students at class XI IPA 3 SMAN 1 Pangkajene, (2) the effectiveness of learning media of powerpoint through the observation of learning activity of Biology of high school students at class XI IPA 3 SMAN 1 Pangkajene, and (3) the effectiveness of learning media of powerpoint through the learning achievement of Biology of high school students at class XI IPA 3 SMAN 1 Pangkajene.The result of this study revealed that (1) students’ learning motivation was improved viewed from the indicator of achievement of students’ motivation after the treatment where statistically it was obtained 100% students was in high category, (2) the learning media of powerpoint improved students’ learning activity, and (3) students’ learning achievement of Biology at class XI IPA 3 SMAN 1 Pangkajene was improved. Those improvements can be seen from the average of evaluation test in cycle I which was 47,52 and in cycle II improved to 79,92. Moreover, the achievement of minimum mastery criteria (KKM) showed frecuenci 28 (87,5%) students obtained the score 75 the set KKM score which was.
