Abstract

Community activities to perform, especially marine aquaculture farming pearl oysters around Baubau municipal waters has increased. This study aims to analyze (1). hydro-oceanographic factors for the suitability of the development of pearl oyster farming in the waters of the city of Baubau, Southeast Sulawesi (2). The capacity of the land and the production capability of land for the development of pearl oyster farming based on changes in hydro oceanographic parameters. The method used is the exploratory study using survey methods and direct measurements in the field. Data were analyzed descriptively reported in the form of Tables and Figures. The results showed that after a through analysis of hydro oseangrafi waters of Baubau then obtained the appropriate areas suitable for cultivation and pearl oyster 512.31 hectares with a capacity of 409.85 hectares of land available. pearl oyster cultivation of 40 985 units with production forecast 4391.23 tons / year or as much as 133,434.80 grains / year.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to determine the outcome differences learning of students who are taught by the teaching  mthods  Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Mind Mapping in digestive system material of the student in Class XI SMAN 1 Bangkala Western district.jeneponto.This research used quasi Experimental. The research design was nonequivalent control gruop design. The population was all second year student of SMA 1 Bangkala Barat Kabupaten Jeneponto. The population of this research was all students of class XI SMAN 1 Bangkala western district.jeneponto.  The research sampel was class XI IPA2 as the first experimental class XI IPA1 as the second experimental class. Data were collected using achievement test in the form of pretest and posttest. Data were analyzed using  descriptive analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis techniques.Analysis of the  data showed the learning outcomes student class XI SMAN 1 Bangkala western district.jeneponto. was in digestive system material taught through; the first method of learning (PBL) is in the medium categori, with a percentage of 35 % of the 20  learners and the average value of 79. While the outcomes of Mind Mapping  learning methods  was in middle category, with an average value of 68 with increased 11. The results of the analysis of hypothesis   testing using t-test diperoles thit value = 3.489 and the value ttab with dk= 2.02438. were the value of thit>ttab so H-0 rejected, H1 accepted. Thus there are  differences in learning outcomes of students who are taught through learning methods Problem Based Learning (PBL) with Mind Mapping on the material digestive system in class XI sman 1 Bangkala western district Jeneponto

Abstract

This research is aimed at: (i) identifying the difference of students’ activity at grade IX of SMPN 1 Sungguminasa who were taught using cooperative learning type the power of two and type make a match (ii) finding the difference of  students’ response at grade IX of SMPN 1 Sungguminasa who were taught by using cooperative learning of type the power of two and type make a match (iii) discovering the difference of students’ learning outcome at grade IX of SMPN 1 Sungguminasa who were taught by using cooperative learning of type the power of two and type make a match. Type of this research is quasi experiment that was conducted at SMPN 1 Sungguminasa. There were two group of experiment involved on this research; those are group experiment I who were taught by using cooperative learning type of the power of two and group experiment II who were taught by using cooperative learning type make a match. Instrument of the research include observation sheet of activities to know the students’ activities, questionnaire to discover students’ response on the learning activities, learning outcomes test to obtain data the learning outcomes of the subject Human Survival. The data were than analyzed descriptively and inferentially (t-test with α = 0.05) by the assist of SPSS 15.0 for windows. The result indicates that: (i) there is no significant difference between activities of students who were taught by using cooperative learning type the power of two and type make a match, (ii) there is no significant difference between responses of students who were taught by using cooperative learning type the power of two and type make a match, and (iii) there is no significant difference between learning outcomes of  students who were taught by using cooperative learning type the power of two and type make a match.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) untuk mengetahui gambaran hasil belajar peserta didik menggunakan model cooperatif learning dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses; (2) untuk mengetahui gambaran hasil belajar peserta didik tanpa menggunkan model cooperatif learning dengan pendekatan keterampilan  proses; dan (3) untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model cooperatif learning dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik di SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Experimental dengan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa Kabupaten Gowa dengan sampel penelitian kelas VIII E yang berjumlah 34 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII D berjumlah 34 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol yang terpilih melalui teknik random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik berupa tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 nomor. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial dengan uji Indepedent Sampel t-test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis inferensial menggunakan uji Indepedent Sampel t-test antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol dimana diperoleh nilai p sebesar 0,020 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05 (p<0,05) dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik deskriptif, diperoleh rata-rata nilai hasil belajar dari kedua kelompok tersebut yaitu kelas eksperimen sebesar 80,44 dan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 74,88. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar di kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol. Jadi terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model cooperatif learning dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses terhadap hasil peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Sunguminasa

Abstract

Pada saat ini budidaya laut (maricultur) di perairan Bau-bau mengalami peningkatan, baik dari segi luas lahan maupun jenis budidaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis (1). Tingkat kesesuaian lahan dan Daya Dukung Lingkungan untuk pengembangan budidaya laut di perairan kota Baubau, Sulawesi Tenggara (2). Perubahan  kesesuaian dan daya dukung lingkungan untuk pengembangan budidaya laut berdasarkan perubahan parameter lingkungan dan (3). arah Pengembangan Budidaya Laut di perairan Baubau pada Lokasi yang tidak sesuai.  Penelitian dilakukan di perairan Bau-bau dan Sampel dianalisis di Laboratorium Laboratorium Kimia Oseanografi Jurusan Ilmu Kelautan Fakultas Ilmu Kelautan dan Perikanan Universitas Hasanuddin Makassar. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksploratif dengan menggunakan metode survey dan pengukuran langsung di lapangan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif yang dilaporkan dalam bentuk Tabel dan Gambar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah melalui analisis kesesuaian lahan dan daya dukung lahan, perairan Kota Bau Bau sesuai untuk budi daya keramba jaring apung 742,12 Ha dengan kapasitas lahan tersedia 593,70 Ha Estimasi unit budi daya ikan dalam keramba jaring apung 44.527 unit dengan prakiraan produksi 44.527,20 ton/tahun.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; 1. Menganalisis kelengkapan sarana prasaranaakademik Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar. 2.Menganalisis kualitas mengajar dosen Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UINAlauddin Makassar. 3. Menganalisis prestasi belajar mahasiswa Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar. 4. Menganalisis pengaruh saranaprasarana akademik terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa Fakultas Tarbiyah danKeguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar. 5. Menganalisis pengaruh kualitas mengajardosen terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UINAlauddin Makassar.Penelitian ini adalah expost-facto dengan menggunakan model penelitian survey dengan teknik analisis regresi linier gandaSubjek populasi pada penelitian ini adalah semua mahasiswa angkatan angkata 2010/2011 masing-masing jurusan yang ada pada Fakultas Tarbiyaah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar. Jumlah populasi 557 orang, sampel 60 orang mahasiswa. Ada tiga data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu: 1) data prestasi belajar mahasiswa, 2) data sarana dan prasarana akdemik berdasarkan persepsi mahasiswa, 3) data kualitas mengajar dosen berdasarkan persepsi mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah Teknik analisis statistik deskriptif digunakan untuk menggambarkan karakteristik data yang diperoleh dari masing-masing mahasiswa , dan Analisis inferensial adalah untuk menguji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik variable sarana prasarana akademik (X1) dankualitas mengajar dosen (X2) terhadap prestasi belajar (Y) dengan menggunakan analisis regresi ganda pada taraf signifikan = 0,05 diperoleh Fhitung sebesar 5,410 lebih besar dari Ftabel= 4,02 pada taraf = 0,05. Ini berarti model regresi yang diperoleh signifikan dan dapat digunakan untuk menaksir variabel (Y) apabila variabel bebas (X1) dan variabel bebas (X2) diketahui. Artinya variable (Y) prestasi belajar mahasiswa Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar dipengaruhi oleh variabel bebas (X1) sarana prasarana akademik dan variabel bebas (X2) kualitas mengajar dosen. Dan dapat dijelaskan bahwa hasil analisis tersebut diperoleh nilai koofisien diterminasi (????2) sebesar 0,085 atau 8,5%.

Abstract

This study aimed at examining (1) significant correlation of pedagogy competence of Biology teacher toward student’s learning result both directly and indirectly through student’ learning motivation. (2) significant correlation between pedagogy competence of Biology teachers and students’ learning motivation; (3) significant correlation between pedagogy competence of Biology teachers and student’s learning result. This study is an ex-post facto. The population of the study were the entire students at SMAN in watampone of academic year 2013/2014. The samples were taken by employing random class technique with as many as 496 students. Data were collected through questionnaire and documentation. Data were analyzed using reggressin test and path analysis. The results of the study were (1) pedagogy competence gave influence directly to learning result with coefficient path (p) by 16.5%; whereas,it gave influence indirectly to learning motivation by 42.6% (2) there was correlation (p < 0.05) between pedagogy competence and students’ learning result on biology subject at SMAN in Watampone with coefficient (r) by 64.3%; (3) there was correlation (p < 0.05) between pedagogy competence and students’ learning motivation at SMAN in watampone with coefficient correlation (r) 64.1%;

Abstract

One of the ways to maximize the practicum function carried out in lectures is through the evaluation of practicum programs. So far there has never been an evaluation on practicum, which only focuses on the implementation of the practicum itself. There are many program evaluation models designed by experts. These models tend to be developed in accordance with the objectives of evaluation. One of them is the CSE program evaluation model UCLA. This study aims to find out assessment systems, program planning, implementation programs and certification certification programs Botany phanerogamae students majoring in biology IAIN Kerinci. This research belongs to the category of qualitative research which includes the type of case study method (case study). To get the CSE-UCLA model data, researchers used observational studies, documents and interviews. At the stage of the assessment assessment system has been owned and implemented, although there are obstacles to the lack of student attention to the environment. At the planning stage, the program focuses on evaluating the feasibility of the organizational structure of the Department of Biology, evaluating the readiness of the ability of lecturers and assistants, advice and infrastructure and labor managers in the Botany Phanerogamae Practicum which is categorized ready. In the Implementation Program stage it has been carried out well and also structured. The Improvement Program has been categorized as effective. In the Certification Program stage it is in accordance with the wishes of the Department of Biology. Where the practicum objectives and responses of the students are very positive, so that the stages of practicum implementation can run effectively and in accordance with the expected desires of the Department of Biology of the Kerinci Islamic Institute. Keywords: System assessment, program planning, implementation programs, program certification and Botanical phanerogamae.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Kecemasan Berkomunikasi Mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Biologi Angkatan 2013 Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar, untuk mengetahui Prestasi Akademik Mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Biologi Angkatan 2013 Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar, dan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kecemasan Berkomunikasi terhadap Prestasi Akademik Mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Biologi Angkatan 2013 Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar.Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa angkatan 2013 Jurusan Pendidikan Biologi Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar berjumlah 120 mahasiswa sedangkan sampelnya adalah 50% dari populasi berjumlah 60 mahasiswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel “Simple Random Sampling”. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala kecemasan berkomunikasi dan dokumentasi dalam bentuk indeks prestasi semester (I dan II). Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial.Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik deskriptif, kecemasan berkomunikasi diperoleh nilai rata-rata 82,73 berada pada kategori sedang dari nilai ideal 100 diperoleh nilai terendah 60, nilai tertinggi 110 dengan presentase 68,33%. Untuk hasil prestasi akademik diperoleh nilai rata-rata 3,34 berada pada kategori memuaskan dari nilai ideal 4,00 diperoleh nilai terendah 2,28, nilai tertinggi 4,00 dengan presentase 70%. Adapun hasil analisis statistik inferensial dengan uji regresi sederhana, diperoleh koefisien korelasi nilai sebesar 13,139 sedangkan nilaisehingga  = 3,16. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa > yakni 13,139>3,16, makaditolak dan diterima yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara kecemasan berkomunikasi terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Biologi Angkatan 2013 Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar dengan sumbangsih sebesar 18,5 %.

Abstract

The study discusses the comparative of the effectiveness of synectic conventional learning model on the creative thinking abilities of students with the aim to determine (1) the ability of creative thinking of students who were taught using conventional learning models (lectures) in VII grade SMP Negeri 3 Pattallassang, ( 2) the ability of creative thinking of students taught using Synectic learning model in VII grade SMP Negeri 3 Pattallassang, (3) the comparative of the effectiveness of the Synectic learning model effective towards creative thinking abilities in VII grade SMP Negeri 3 Pattallassang.The study is a Quasi-Experimental Research Design with non-equivalent control group design. The study population is all students of VII grade SMP Negeri 3 Pattallassang as much as  98 students consisting of VII1 class to VII3 class. The sample in this study is VII1 class as a control class while VII3 class as an experiment class. Instruments used in this research is students creative thinking test, such as pretest and posttest and observation sheet. Data analysis technique is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis.Based on the analysis using descriptive statistics in the experimental class, pretest score mean is 5.9 and the posttest score mean is 11.63 whereas the control class, the score mean is 6.1 for pretest and 9.16 for posttest. Based on effectiveness  test result to determine effectiveness of the learning model Synecti. Thus, the value of R <1, namely 0.89 <1, which means relatively θ1 more efficient than θ2. It means that there is a difference posttest score variance of experimental class and posttest score variance of control class. Hence, Synectic learning model is effectively used towards creative thinking abilities of students of VII grade SMP Negeri 3 Pattallassang Gowa.
