Abstract

To create such conditions, transformational leadership and leadership honesty are needed. This study aims to determine and analyze: (1) The effect of transformational leadership on school efficiency. (2) The effect of leader honesty on school efficiency. (3) The influence of transformational leadership and honesty of leaders both have an effect on school efficiency. Research using quantitative methods, used to examine the population or a particular sample. The population in this study were all teachers at the 21 Batang Hari Junior High School, because the population was less than 100, the sample of this study were all 31 teachers at the 21 Batang Hari Junior High School. different, that is 1/3 of the total sample in SMP N 3 Batang Hari, which is 10 teachers. Collecting data using questionnaires and observations, the data has met the validity test, reliability test, normality test, homogeneity test and linearity test and hypothesis testing. Shows that: (1) The measurement of transformational leadership on efficiency is 47.9%. Calculation of tcount with ttable obtained tcount = 3.359, ttable = 1.695 that rejects Ho and accepts Hi. This means that there is a significant influence between transformational leadership and school efficiency. (2) The effect of leader honesty on school efficiency is 53.3%. Calculation of tcount with ttable obtained tcount = 3.793, ttable = 1.695 that rejects Ho and accepts Hi. There is a significant influence between the honesty of the leader on the efficiency of the school. (3) The simultaneous effect of transformational leadership and leadership honesty on school efficiency is 95.5%. The calculation of fcount with ftable obtained fcount = 295.697, ftable = 3.30 that rejects Ho and accepts Hi. There is a significant effect between transformational leadership and leadership honesty simultaneously on school efficiency

Abstract

Various efforts have been made by the community to strengthen mutual respect for various cultures, races and even religions among young people, educated and educated people. This aims to strengthen the integrity of the nation and state. Some circles carry out programs to introduce religious teachings so that mutual suspicions do not arise which result in divisions and a lack of mutual understanding between adherents of various beliefs and cultures. One of them is UMTS, a tertiary institution of the Muhammadiyah organization in the Southern Tapanuli region which highly upholds multiculturalism for students by teaching the basic teachings of Islam and Muhammadiyah for students and is included in the category of compulsory subjects to be followed and passed in these courses for various groups of students consisting of from various faculties and study programs within the Muhammadiyah University of South Tapanuli (UMTS).

Abstract

Human Resource Management Strategy in Improving Administration at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Batang Hari, namely by planning, organizing, supervising and assessing, guided by the established curriculum. This study aims to determine how the strategy of human resource management in improving administration, especially in the implementation of learning. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out directly through interviews, observation and documentation studies. The subjects of this study were principals, vice principals for curriculum and teachers at MTs Negeri 2 Batang Hari. The research results obtained are: (1) the principal of the madrasa fosters teachers in the process of compiling learning programs such as lesson plans, annual programs, semester programs, and details of the effective week. (2) the head of the madrasah fosters teachers in the implementation of learning which is done by explaining the material, learning media, learning methods and learning resources. (3) the head of madrasah fosters professional improvement of teachers by means of supervision, upgrading, seminars and activating the MGMP as well as providing learning facilities and media.

Abstract

Tolerance is a value that is very familiar to us as Indonesian citizens who are multicultural, with various ethnicities, cultures, languages and religions. But not infrequently we as Muslims have not been able to place its meaning proportionally. This paper aims to reveal how the Prophet taught tolerance towards non-Muslims. The method used in this article is the library method. The results presented are that Islamic tolerance lies in the concept of "tasamuh", uniquely, Islamic tolerance is carried out to all humans regardless of religion. The concept of tasamuh is also very tied to other basic concepts in the Qur'an. When we talk about tasamuh, we cannot escape the concepts of al-Rahmah, al-Adl-Qist, al-Ihsan, al-Amanah, al-Salam and al-Tawhid. All of these terminology are the basic concepts that bind the tasamuh concept. So, if the West wants to fuse all truth in religions, Islam actually strengthens the concept of Tasamuh by tying it with al-Tawhid. By giving good examples and examples, the Prophet taught his companions how ideally to be tolerant, especially towards non-Muslims

Abstract

Education in Indonesia in the last decade has reaped many problems including the weak character of the young generation where the success of a nation can be seen from the character of the younger generation. Seeing these problems, there needs to be some breakthroughs, one of which can be done through character inculcation that is applied in schools through classroom learning and other activities such as extracurricular activities. This research method is qualitative with the type of descriptive research, namely the type of research that examines data that can describe complex and concrete social realities. This study uses data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, library methods and the use of documentation. The analysis in this study uses interactive data analysis from Lexy Moleong with the pre-field stage, the implementation stage, the data analysis stage, the conclusion stage and the reporting stage. The results showed that: (1) the implementation of extracurricular Islamic Religious Education in SMP Tunas Harapan Ilahi Tangerang there were 13 extracurricular Islamic Religious Education. (2) extracurricular activities in SMP Tunas Harapan Ilahi Tangerang are essentially many activities. However, in this discussion, only BINA PRIBADI ISLAMI extracurricular activities were taken which presumably had a stake in the formation of student character, for example the types of Bina Pribadi Islami extracurricular activities namely introduction of the holy book, worship, social activities, habituation of noble character and the inculcation of religious historical values. Through this activity students can learn to develop communication skills, collaborate with others, discipline and other characters.

Abstract

Community Service Based on the Study Program of the Research and Community ServiceInstitute (LP2M) IAIN Bukittinggi is the result of a study program-based service that theauthor carried out with the title Accreditation-Based Learning Management Assistance at theMuallimin Islamic Boarding School, Sawah Dangka, Agam Regency, West Sumatra. Thisservice is motivated by the low understanding of leaders and teachers in managing learningthat refers to the accreditation standards of Islamic boarding schools. The purpose of thisservice is to provide assistance and empowerment of leaders and teachers in managingaccreditation-based learning management, as well as see a comparison of the knowledge ofleaders and teachers about accreditation-based learning management before and afterempowerment. The object of this empowerment is the leader and the teacher assembly. Theempowerment method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR). The results ofempowerment and service can be concluded that first, teacher document readiness inaccreditation-based learning management, it was concluded that 55% of teachers stated thatthey had document readiness, 24% of teachers stated that they did not have documents, and21% of teachers expressed doubts between having documents with do not have documents.Second, the results of monitoring and evaluation of the increase in teacher knowledge afterparticipating in the activity concluded that 79.5% stated that teacher knowledge hadincreased. And third, the level of teacher satisfaction in empowerment and mentoring ofaccreditation-based learning management at the Muallimin Sawah Dangka Islamic BoardingSchool, Agam Regency, West Sumatra, it was found that most of the teachers gave anassessment of being satisfied with the implementation of activities, namely 73.8%, a smallpart stated very satisfied, namely 19 %, and a small part also stated that 7.1% said they werequite satisfied.

Abstract

Pengembangan kurikulum merupakan suatu keniscayaan bagi dunia pendidikan di Negeri ini. Pengembangan Kurikulum 2013 merupakan bagian dari strategi meningkatkan capaian pendidikan. Di samping kurikulum, terdapat sejumlah faktor di antaranya: lama siswa bersekolah, lama siswa tinggal di sekolah, pembelajaran siswa aktif berbasis kompetensi, buku pegangan atau buku cetak, dan peranan guru sebagai ujung tombak pelaksana pendidikan. Pengembangan Kurikulum 2013 diorientasi terjadinya peningkatan dan keseimbangan antara kompetensi sikap (attitute), keterampilan (skill), dan pengetahuan (knowledge). Hal ini sejalan dengan amanat UU No. 20 Tahun 2003 sebagaimana tersurat dalam penjelasan pasal 35: kompetensi lulusan merupakan kualifikasi kemampuan lulusan yang mencakup sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan sesuai dengan standar nasional yang telah disepakati. Hal ini sejalan pula dengan pengembangan kurikulum berbasis kompetensi yang telah dirintis pada tahun 2004 dengan mencakup kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan secara terpadu.
