Abstract

Social well-being is a part of subjective well-being used to measure mental health as a measurement of mental health, which is an indicator of quality of life. People can achieve social well-being when they have a good and deep quality relationship with others. However, people use technology almost daily, impairing their social well-being. Moreover, they also tend to do cyberloafing, which makes them spend more time on their gadget. This project's principal objective was to investigate cyberloafing's effect on cognitive absorption and social well-being. A quantitative method using three questionnaires (cognitive absorption scale, cyberloafing questionnaire, and social well-being) involving 178 respondents was employed. The data was analyzed using Mediation Analysis in JASP software. The findings indicated a partial mediation in cyberloafing on the relationship between cognitive absorption and cyberloafing.

Abstract

This study examines the role of consumer involvement in predicting the role of awareness of consumption awareness in online consumer shopping. This research is a quantitative study involving 220 early adult participants who shop online in Jakarta. Data collection was carried out using the Mindful Consumption Behavior Scale to measure mindful consumption, the Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaires Short Version (FFMQ-SV) to measure mindfulness, and the Customer Engagement Scale to measure consumer engagement. The three measuring instruments have been tested for reliability and the test results have a good and acceptable reliability value. The results of the study using linear regression analysis show that consumer involvement can play a positive role as a significant mediator of the role of mindfulness in predicting mindful consumption. Thus, mindfulness can play a better role in mindful consumption with consumer involvement that helps online buyers to be fully involved in purchases made so that mindful purchases are created in online shopping.

Abstract

This quasi-qualitative study explored the concerns, barriers, and impacts of implementing Inclusive Education (IE) in elementary schools in Sumatra and Java, Indonesia. Despite the Indonesian government's mandate to implement IE through Ministry of Education Act No. 70 of 2009, various challenges hinder its effective implementation. A survey and semi-structured interviews were conducted with 25 elementary school teachers to gain insight into their experiences and perceptions of IE. The findings suggest that teachers often lack confidence in employing inclusive strategies because of limited knowledge and large class sizes, highlighting the need for ongoing professional development. Additionally, while there is evidence of positive attitudes towards special educational needs (SEN) students among peers and parents, teachers may not fully embrace IE. This study aims to provide a thorough assessment of IE strategies employed in Indonesian elementary schools by analyzing key factors and offering recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of IE for both students and teachers. These findings will inform policymakers, educators, and stakeholders about the current state of IE and the necessary steps to improve it, ultimately contributing to the development of a more inclusive and equitable education system in Indonesia.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang terkait dengan regulasi diri akademik pada siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Nganjuk ditunjukkan dengan banyaknya jumlah siswa yang tidak hadir atau bolos dalam proses belajar mengajar hingga lebih dari dua puluh kali dalam satu semester. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan goal setting pada peningkatan kemampuan regulasi diri dalam belajar pada siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Nganjuk. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X dan XI yang bersekolah di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Nganjuk, sebanyak 42 siswa. Subjek terbagi ke dalam kelompok kontrol sebanyak 22 siswa dan kelompok eksperimen sebanyak 20 siswa. Metode penelitian kali ini adalah menggunakan pendekatan quasi eksperimen yang membandingkan data pretest dan postest pada kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan skala self regulated learning yang dikembangkan peneliti. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan analisis uji perbedaan antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan perbedaan nilai rerata sebelum perlakuan dan sesudah perlakuan pada kelompok eksperimen diterima, dan terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan self regulated learning sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan pada siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Nganjuk

Abstract

This study aims to see how the contribution of school climate and the fulfillment of basic psychological needs to student engagement in elementary school students in Agam district.  This study uses quantitative methods. Student engagement was measured using School Engagement Measure (SEM)- MacArthur with a reliability of 0.869, Comprehensive School Climate Inventory with a reliability of 0.860, and Basic Psychological Needs in the Classroom Scale (BPN-CS) with a reliability of 0.832. The sampling technique in this study used cluster random sampling with a total of 138 elementary students in Agam district. Multiple linear regression analysis is the analytical technique used in this study. The results of this study showed a significance value (p) of 0.00 <0.05, these results indicate that school climate and basic psychological needs simultaneously contribute to student engagement in elementary school students in Agam district. The contribution given is as much as 49.7%. School climate and basic psychological need separately also show a contribution to student engagement, and school climate shows a higher contribution than basic psychological need

Abstract

Cyberbullying has become a serious threat to the mental health of adolescents in the digital era. Its impacts include depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and the risk of deviant behavior. A counseling approach based on the values of the Qur'an offers an alternative solution to address these issues through Islamic principles such as compassion (rahmah), wisdom (hikmah), and counsel (mau‘izhah). This study aims to analyze the role of integrating Qur'anic values in counseling to enhance the mental health of adolescents who are victims of cyberbullying. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with literature study and phenomenological analysis of relevant Qur'anic verses and the literature on mental health in Islam. The findings indicate that a Qur'an-based counseling approach can help adolescents develop resilience, cope with emotional stress, and build a strong Islamic identity. Therefore, this approach can serve as a practical guide for Islamic counselors in addressing the mental health issues of adolescents.

Abstract

Adaptasi Bahasa Dan Budaya Skala Kentucky Inventarisasi Keterampilan Mindfulness . Kentucky Inventory of Mindfulness Skills (KIMS) merupakan skala multidimensi yang menjelaskan bahwa mindfulness adalah konstruksi multifaset yang mencakup beberapa keterampilan, yaitu Mengamati, Mendeskripsikan, Bertindak dengan kesadaran, dan Menerima tanpa menghakimi. Tujuan dari adaptasi skala KIMS adalah untuk memaastikan validitas dan reliabilitas agar lebih efektif dan akurat jika digunakan dalam budaya Inonesia. Proses Adaptasi dimulai dari mempersiapkan skala hingga pengukuran psikometri untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari KIMS bahasa Indonesia. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja dengan sampel 349 orang yang berstatus mahasiswa S1. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan convenience sampling merupakan teknik yaitu pengambilan sampel dengan pemilihan sampel secara bebas. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah model rasch. Hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa nilai alpha Cronbach sebesar 0,88, Nilai koefisien reliabilitas item mencapai 0,99 dan nilai koefisien reliabilitas person sebesar 0,87. Nilai alpha ini menjadi indikator reliabilitas untuk mengukur interaksi antara responden dan item secara keseluruhan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa skala ini mampu menghasilkan skor pengukuran yang konsisten dan dapat diandalkan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between intrinsic motivation and self-efficacy with self-regulation in Jakabaring Fitness members in Palembang City. The research subjects consisted of 60 active fitness members. The method used was quantitative correlation with total sampling technique. The results of the analysis showed that intrinsic motivation and self-efficacy are predictors of self-regulation, with a value of F = 21.181 (p <0.01). These two factors play a positive role in self-regulation, indicating that the higher the intrinsic motivation and self-efficacy, the better individuals are at regulating and maintaining their exercise habits. Simultaneously, intrinsic motivation and self-efficacy contributed 40.6% to self-regulation. While partially intrinsic motivation increases self-regulation by 0.461, while self-efficacy increases by 0.264.

Abstract

Kurangnya rasa percaya diri pada siswa akan menghambat siswa dalam mengenal potensi dan kemampuan yang dimilikinya, oleh sebab itu bagi seorang guru penting untuk memperhatikan seberapa besar tingkat kepercayaan diri yang dimiliki oleh siswanya untuk mengeksplorasi kemampuan yang siswa miliki. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengembangkan alat ukur pada skala kepercayaan diri dengan uji validitas konstruk dan reliabilitas pada siswa sekolah menengah atas. Teknik sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah 239 pasrtisipan. Metode pungumpulan data, skala kepercayaan diri di unggah menggunakan google form. Analisis penelitian ini dalam mengembangkan alat ukur skala kepercayaan diri menggunakan bantuan software Jamovi 2.3.28.  Hasil didapatkan dari 40 aitem pernyataan menjadi 16 aitem pernyataan yang dikatakan memenuhi kriteria fit yaitu pada indikator KD5, KD6, KD9, KD10, KD12, KD13, KD17, KD37, KD25, KD26, KD29, KD31, KD32, KD33, KD34, dan KD38. Dimana hasil corrected item total correlation bergerak antara 0.326-0.664 serta hasil uji reliabilitas mendapatkan nilai cronbach’s alpha sebesar 0.837. Alat ukur ini dapat digunakan oleh peneliti lain dalam mengukur tingkat kepercayaan diri pada siswa SMA

Abstract

Abstract:Purpose: This study aims to examine the psychosocial predictors, namely government support, proactive personality, motivation, and spirituality, for the career satisfaction of gig workers in a new era of working.Design/methodology/approach: 323 gig workers across different sectors in Indonesia participated in this study. PLS-Structural Analysis Model (SEM) was performed to examine the hypothesis.Findings: A proactive personality has the highest path score in predicting gig work career satisfaction.  Government Support does not influence the satisfaction of gig work in Indonesia.Originality: This research stands out for its comprehensive examination of factors not previously studied within the Indonesian gig work environment, especially for spirituality. Additionally, the use of SEM analysis methods underscores an exhaustive approach to investigate relationships between the variables studied. The result that government support doesn't significantly impact career satisfaction offers fresh perspectives on the factors influencing gig work success in Indonesia. This study sheds light on psychosocial predictors that could have wider implications for gig workers globally as well as providing insight on the dynamics of gig work.
