Abstract

  This research analyzes active learning strategies in Akidah Akhlak learning. Active learning strategies are learning approaches that require active participation from students in the learning process. Active learning strategies are important to deepen the understanding and application of religious values in everyday life. The background of the research shows that the subject of Akidah Akhlak is very important to shape the morals and faith of students, but the implementation of learning is still often dominated by teachers and less interesting, so students become passive and unmotivated. The research method used is a qualitative research. The purpose of this study is to identify the form of active learning strategies, analyze their application in the Akidah Akhlak learning process in the classroom, and find out the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of these strategies. This strategy can help students to be more active in understanding and mastering the subject matter, and can also develop critical thinking skills

Abstract

Millenials and Generation Z show significant differences in their understanding and application of Pancasila values, influenced by different social and cultural background. Millenials were born between the early 1980 and mid-1990s, have better access to technology and stable life experiences, so they are better able to internalize Pancasila values in their daily lives. In contrast, Gen Z, who were fully raised in the digital era, tend to be more individualistic and influenced by global culture, so Pancasila values are often considered less relevant. This article aims to analyze the differences in the implementation of Pancasila values between the two generations, identify the challenges faced and explore innovation in education to improve Gen z understanding of Pancasila, with a technology based approach that suits Gen z preferences, it is hoped that Pancasila values will remain relevant and applicable amidst modernization. Keywords: Millennial Generation, Gen Z, Pancasila, Education, Globalization.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is a common behaviour among university students, especially those in their final year. One psychological factor believed to influence this tendency is self-efficacy—the belief in one’s ability to complete academic tasks. At the same time, educational stress may act as a psychological mechanism that bridges the relationship between self-efficacy and procrastination. This study aims to examine whether academic stress mediates the relationship between self-efficacy and academic procrastination. A total of 218 final-year university students in the Greater Jakarta area (JABODETABEK) participated in this study through accidental sampling. Data were collected using adapted versions of three standardized psychological instruments: the College Academic Self-Efficacy Scale (CASES) to measure self-efficacy, the Educational Stress Scale for Adolescents (ESSA) to assess educational stress, and the Tuckman Procrastination Scale (TPS) to evaluate academic procrastination. Data were analysed using path analysis to test the proposed mediation model. The results revealed that self-efficacy had a significant negative effect on academic stress (a = -0.167, p < 0.001) and academic procrastination (c = -0.152, p < 0.001). Furthermore, academic stress had a significant positive effect on academic procrastination (b = 0.91, p < 0.001). When academic stress was included as a mediating variable, the direct effect of self-efficacy on procrastination remained significant but was reduced (c’ = -0.229, p < 0.001), indicating a partial mediation. These findings suggest that academic stress serves as a mediator in the relationship between self-efficacy and academic procrastination. In other words, self-efficacy influences the tendency to procrastinate indirectly through its impact on academic stress. This highlights the importance of not only enhancing students’ academic self-efficacy but also implementing strategies to reduce academic stress in order to effectively minimize academic procrastination among final-year university students.

Abstract

This research develops a product in the form of an Android-based educational game media as a student learning medium in thematic subjects for class III elementary school students. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) research method with the Luther development model consisting of 6 stages. Data collection techniques through questionnaires, and documentation. The results  of  this  study  were:  1)  Android-based  educational  game  products  as  learning  media,  2) feasibility  assessments  carried  out  by  experts,  based  on  the  validation  results  of  media  experts obtained a percentage of 78.88% or feasible, material experts obtained a percentage of 83.33%. meets the very feasible category, 3) the practicality of the media is assessed based on the results of the user response questionnaire analysis. In the student response test at UPT SD N 2 Banyuwangi obtained a percentage of 91.66%, while the educator's response obtained a percentage of 87.75%. While the implementation of the trial at UPT SD N 1 South Pandansari in the response of students obtained a percentage of 88.96% and the response of educators was 80%, the product was very practical to use.
