Abstract

The problem in this research is the quality of learning at SDN 03 Tunggak is still very low. This can be seen from the principal's, teachers' and administration's rooms into one room, the school library which is no longer in use, there is no science laboratory room, there is no UKS room, and there is no warehouse. This study aims to determine and describe the condition of facilities and infrastructure, quality of learning, management of facilities and infrastructure, supporting and inhibiting factors of facilities and infrastructure management. This type of research is qualitative research using data collection procedures of observation, interviews, documentation, listening and notes. The results of this study indicate that the condition of the infrastructure is quite complete and the condition is quite good. The quality of learning has been maximized. Management of facilities and infrastructure has been running according to the regulations that have been set. Supporting factors for infrastructure management include community cooperation in maintaining infrastructure facilities, obtaining BOS funds and grants. The inhibiting factor is the lack of funds and student management in borrowing infrastructure.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of a project based learning model based on ethnoscience theme 9 objects around us on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri Ngijo 01 Gunungpati. This type of research is a quantitative research type of Pre-Experimental Design in the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SD Negeri Ngijo 01 Gunungpati for the academic year 2021/2022 totaling 25 students who were also the research sample. This sampling technique uses the Non Probability Sampling technique with a saturated sampling form. Based on data analysis, there is a difference between the average pretest and post-test learning outcomes. Based on the calculation obtained  = 11.7659. While = 2,016. Because   (11.7659) > (2,016) then  is rejected. In addition, the pre-test learning outcomes obtained an average of 60.2. While the posttest learning outcomes obtained an average of 82.4. This shows an increase in learning outcomes pretest - posttest. So that the ethnoscience-based project-based learning model with the theme of 9 objects around us has an influence in improving the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri Ngijo 01 Gunungpati.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) determine the effect of learning motivation on science learning outcomes in third grade students at SDN Tabaringan 5, 2) determine the effect of interest in learning on science learning outcomes in third grade students at SDN Tabaringan 5, 3) Knowing the simultaneous influence of motivation and interest in learning on science learning outcomes in third grade students at SDN Tabaringan 5. This type of research is quantitative using the Ex Post Facto method. The subjects in this study were class III students at SDN Tabaringan 5, totaling 27 students. The sampling technique used in this research is saturated sampling (census). Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, documentation and learning outcomes tests. The results showed that there was a simultaneous influence of motivation and interest in learning on science learning outcomes for third grade students at SDN Tabaringan 5, as evidenced by multiple linear regression tests, Fvalues scores (56.678) > Ftable (3.39). Based on the calculation results, the variables > motivation (x1) and interest (x2) in learning have an effect of 82.59% on science learning outcomes (y) and the other 17.5% is influenced by other factors that are not being studied.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Survey, Question, Read, Recite, And Review (SQ3R) Method to improve the reading skills of grade III students of SD Negeri Panaikang, Gowa Regency. This research is a class action study. This research was carried out in class III of SD Negeri Panaikang Gowa Regency in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The data analysis techniques carried out are qualitatively and quantitatively. Qualitatively, the data were analyzed from the results of observations of teacher performance and student learning activities. Meanwhile, as qualitative, the data is analyzed from the results of tests carried out at the end of each cycle. The results showed that in the first cycle the teacher's teaching activity was in the sufficient category and in the second cycle increased to a good category. And students' reading skills also improved, in the first cycle it was in the sufficient category and in the second cycle it increased to a good category. From the results of the study, concluded that the application of the Survey, Question, Read, Recite, And Review (SQ3R) Method can improve the reading skills of grade III students of SD Negeri Panaikang, Gowa Regency has been successful.

Abstract

This development research aims to determine the feasibility and steps of developing a digital literacy textbook for first grade teachers as reference and companion for teacher books. This research is research and development (RnD). The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of the development are carried out based on the development steps, namely conducting research and collecting information with preliminary studies in the form  interviews and filling out a needs questionnaire, the information obtained is processed and analyzed, planning, developing an initial draft of the product, conducting validation tests with material and media validators, conducting initial field tests in three elementary schools, and revised the results of the trial, at the initial trial stage there was no revision of the teacher's assessment of the media. Based on the results of the study, the teaching materials developed were included in the "Very Good" and "appropriate" categories for teachers as a reference and companion for teachers' books because the results of material expert validation obtained a percentage of 93.3%, the results of media expert validation obtained a percentage of 98.75% and the average result of the teacher's response questionnaire assessment obtained a percentage of 98%.

Abstract

This study analyzes the feasibility of Pop Up Book teaching materials for Learning the Puppet story, material for Bima Bungkus, for Class IV students? The purpose of the study was to determine the feasibility of developing teaching materials using Pop Up Book media with Bima Bungkus story material to improve learning of wayang stories. This study uses the Research and Development method, the data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The instrument is content validation assessment questionnaire, construct validation, initial field trials. Data collection was obtained from the results of content validation assessment, construct validation, initial field trials at SD Mranak 1 Demak. Based on the validation test and small-scale trial, Pop-Up Book media got a score from the material expert validation test of 83.2% and 93.7% and media expert validation test of 88%, a very decent category. This research on the development of Pop Up Book media received a teacher response for the learning design aspect of 85% and the communication aspect of 90%, a very feasible category. Pop Up Book media that has been developed is very valid and suitable to be used to improve learning ability of wayang stories for students in grade IV SD N Mranak 01 Demak.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the efforts that can be made by teachers and parents in resolving the problem of reading difficulties and the inhibiting factors of the efforts of teachers and parents in resolving reading difficulties. The type of research used is a literature study research method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using documentation and observation studies. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman stages, namely the data reduction stage, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the efforts made by teachers and parents include using learning strategies or methods, providing supporting facilities for learning to read such as learning media, interesting reading books, building simple libraries at home and in classrooms, providing activities remedial for students with reading difficulties, always give a positive response, and provide learning assistance at home by parents. Factors inhibiting the efforts of teachers and parents include a learning atmosphere that is not conducive, students who experience sensory disturbances, low self-confidence, low student interest in reading, lack of existing learning facilities, no learning process at home, and the economic situation of parents is low.

Abstract

In online learning, teachers are required to remain professional in designing learning. It is expected that teachers can increase online learning so that students are motivated to learn. However, in fact, when the author conducted a practicum in one of the kindergartens in Kupang city on 7 July - 27 August 2021, it was found that the behavior of students' learning motivation was low. The behavior of the students that appeared were yawning, sitting back lazily, putting their head on the table, and communicating with people at home, so they didn't pay attention to the teacher. Therefore, the purpose of writing this paper is to examine the efforts of teachers in increasing the learning motivation of kindergarten students to learn online, using descriptive qualitative methods. Teachers as motivators can motivate students through the application of ice breaking. The results of this research show that the application of ice breaking can increase students' motivation in learning. It was concluded that the teacher's efforts to motivate students through ice breaking had a positive impact on students' learning motivation. For further researchers, it is recommended to conduct classroom action research, to get more measurable results.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative research that aims to describe the teacher's perception of the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in arts and crafts subjects at SDN 13 Biru, Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency. The subjects of this study were all 6 class teachers. The data collection instrument used an interview guide. Data analysis techniques in research are 1) Data collection, 2) Data reduction, 3) Data presentation and 4) Conclusion drawing. The results of the research obtained are that the preparation for SBdP learning at SDN 13 Biru is planned through teacher working group activities. SBdP learning is carried out in accordance with the plans that have been made using learning methods, strategies and media. The SBdP learning assessment is carried out for both the process and the results by involving cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. So it can be concluded that the teacher's perception in implementing the 2013 curriculum on SBdP subjects at SDN 13 Biru, Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency is good because teachers have an understanding in planning, implementing and assessing learning.

Abstract

The aims of this study were to: 1) determine the teacher’s role in building the character of the sixth graders of Rangat State Elementary School, East Nusa Tenggara Timur, 2) find out the methods used by the teacher in building the character of the sixth graders of Rangat State Elementary School, East Nusa Tenggara Timur. This research uses qualitative research and phenomenological approach. Collecting data by using observation methods, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis used descriptive analysis by Miles and Hubermen consisting of: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. From the research, the following findings were obtained: 1) The role of teachers at SD Negeri Rangat in building character has been done by being a communicator, initiator, motivator and class manager. Class, with the existence of lesson plans when learning and mastering the material during the teaching and learning takes place make learning more active and efficient and with the emergence of new ideas carried out by teachers can increase students’ curiosity and creativity, 2) The method used by Rangat Elementary School teachers in building student character, Rangat Elementary School teachers have also shown exemplary teachers.
