Abstract

The curriculum must be dynamic in nature that adapts to the changes and developments of the times, science and the needs of society. The curriculum development process includes three stages, namely: planning, implementation, and evaluation. Teachers have an important role in the curriculum development process. But in reality, teachers lack awareness and ability, so their participation is low in curriculum development. This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in the PAI curriculum development process. The research approach used is library research, which seeks materials collected from books and scientific publications that are relevant to the topic discussed. The results showed that curriculum development includes planning, implementation and evaluation. In curriculum development, some of the roles of teachers are as implementers, implementing the curriculum that has been determined; as adapters, adjusting the curriculum; as developers, modify the curriculum according to the characteristics of the school and the needs of students; as researchers, testing various curriculum components.

Abstract

Student management in schools has a significant role in shaping student character and discipline. One important aspect of student management is student leadership. Student leadership includes various activities that involve students in organizing and managing school activities, such as student organizations, extracurricular activities, and other self-development programs. Student leadership can be a determining factor in shaping student character, especially in terms of discipline. This study aims to evaluate the influence of student leadership on student character building in terms of discipline. Quantitative analysis method was used in this study. The research group consisted of 128 students in grades VII, VIII, and IX of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Malang City. The research sample of 94 respondents was obtained through simple random sampling. Data were collected through observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The survey data were processed using Likert scale. Classical acceptability tests such as normality test, homogeneity test, and linearity test were conducted using SPSS for Windows Version 21 program during data analysis. The results of the discussion show that student leadership has a positive effect on the formation of student character discipline at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Malang City. Thus, student leadership has an impact on the formation of student character in accordance with discipline. These results have implications for the theories underlying the research variables and highlight the importance of applying student leadership concepts that are in line with existing theories to achieve optimal student discipline.

Abstract

Schools are used as a place to improve one's achievements and develop the quality of life when facing the future. To carry out its activities, the school must have student management, curriculum management, and so on, so that the school can improve its quality. This journal discusses student management efforts in shaping Islamic character at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta which has the aim to (1) Describe student management planning in shaping the Islamic character of students at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta. (2) Describe the implementation of student management in shaping the Islamic character of students at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta. The type of research conducted. The type of data analysis used is field data analysis. In collecting data, interviews, observation, and documentation methods were used. The data analysis method used in this research is descriptive analysis which is used to translate a situation from general to specific. The results of research findings at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta, and the efforts made at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta start from the planning process, acceptance to the learning process in which there is planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting. The character-building process at Muhammadiyah 5 Karanganyar Junior High School includes the 5S Program (Smile, Greeting, Greeting, Polite and Courteous), Habituation of Dhuha Prayers, Morning Tadarus, Dzuhur Prayers in Congregation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the role of the Islamic Youth Gathering Forum in improving the spirituality of residents in Bolong Village and to find out the results and impacts of the Islamic Youth Gathering Forum activities in Bolong Village. The data collection techniques used were participant observation, interviews, and documentation, where residents and the Islamic Youth Gathering Forum (FOSRI) became the research subjects. The research results include: The role of FOSRI takes the form of implementing various kinds of religious activities like activity preaching, activities taklim, and social religious activities. Activity preaching covers studies, festivals Islamic boarding school students, and Tahrib Ramadhan. Activity ta’lim held with form Study reciting the Qur’an, and tahsin, meanwhile social religious activities form compensation together child orphan, Ramadhan with FOSRI, fundraising, and activities outside That like celebration day big Islam. Results or the impact obtained by residents in the Village Hole is own interests, talents, and achievements achieved related to religion, attitudes, and behavior shown by citizens reflect morals karimah, capable control social relations, prosperous mosques, abundance TPQ students, close ukuwah Islamiyah inter residents in the Village Holes and creation environment Islamic society.

Abstract

Bibliometric indicators are one of the tools that play a role in evaluating the results of scientific research; examining the interaction between science and technology, producing mapping of the field of science, tracking/tracing the development of new knowledge in a particular field, and are future indicators in making strategic plans. This study aims to determine the mapping of the development and direction of Islamic educational psychology research in publications indexed in the Scopus database. This research uses bibliometric analysis techniques to explore all publications indexed in the Scopus database on Islamic educational psychology from 1983 to 2023. The data obtained were analyzed using Excel and R/R-Studio. VOSviewer was used to perform a visual analysis of keyword occurrences and document citations together. The author found 161 publications that matched the function, subject, and criteria set. The results showed an annual growth rate of 2.78. The bibliometric analysis conducted was limited to Scopus data. The limitation of this research is that it only takes metadata of Scopus-indexed publications. Other national and international databases were not taken into account in this study. This study provides a brief overview of the literature that can be accessed by researchers working in the field of Islamic psychology education and provides recommendations for research.

Abstract

Education is a stage in developing, growing and maturing a personality which is related to increasing quality human resources. Education plays a very important role in improving human life so that they live a much better quality life and are active in socializing in society. Character Education is an educational system that has the aim of cultivating individual character in students. Lately there has been a lot of news regarding bad phenomena out there that can affect the lives of students in a very deviant way. The role of guidance and counseling teachers, who are often called school counselors, has an important role in shaping the character of students both inside and outside school. Therefore, students can build character which can be done by executing learning programs to improve students' character cannot be successful if they do not contribute to related parties, especially in the field of education. Therefore, counseling guidance participates in this contribution. In this case the author tries to explain the task of counselors to shape student character, learning about student character education in counseling guidance services and the task of counselors to shape student character. This research uses qualitative methods to describe the results of this research discussion.

Abstract

Student management is an arrangement or arrangement of all forms of activity related to students. From entering the school to leaving the student. Student management is one of the keys to the success of an educational institution. This study aims to describe student management and find out how student management is in SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta. The method used is descriptive qualitative. In seeking information, researchers used the interview method and also a literature study. The results of the research that has been carried out show that student management at SMP Muhamadiyah 5 Surakarta has been running well. All activities and rules have been created and obeyed by the entire school community.Student management aims to organize various activities in the field of student affairs so that learning activities are carried out and school runs smoothly, orderly, and orderly. Some experts argue that the management objectives of participants' Education are to create conditions good school environment and so that students can study in an orderly manner so that it can achieve effective and efficient teaching goals. There is three main tasks in the field of management for students to achieve these goals namely student acceptance, activities learning progress as well as guidance and discipline development.

Abstract

This Academic advisor, which we usually find at the high school level, it turns out that this program has been implemented at the Senior High School level, namely at SMA Muhammadiyah Kottabarat Special Program. Given the importance of the role of Academic Advisors in supporting student success in study and self-development. Academic advisors have a significant role in helping students achieve optimal academic performance and develop character with integrity. This article discusses the steps that can be taken to maximize the role of academic advisors, including in applying Islamic religious values. The academic advisor is the supervisor of all academic activities that students program in college. In another sense, PA lecturers are lecturers who interact the most with their students. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of Academic Advisors in collaborating with teachers, parents, and students to create a supportive educational environment. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative method with a period of 4 weeks to conduct this research directly by observing and interviewing school parties such as mentor teachers and students of the school. Through an in-depth analysis of the steps that need to be taken in optimizing the role of Academic Advisors, this article provides insight into why this role is so important in producing a quality generation at SMA Muhammadiyah PK Kottabarat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the efforts of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in improving students' manners at SMK Batik 2 Surakarta. What will be revealed in this study is the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers to improve student morals. In addition, it aims to find out the inhibiting factors or challenges experienced by teachers in improving student morals. According to the type, this research is qualitative research. This research is located at SMK Batik 2 Surakarta, with the research subject being the Islamic religious education teacher at SMK Batik 2 Surakarta. The methods used in data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and documentation. The stages used in analyzing the data are data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. With this method, it is expected to obtain concrete data and in accordance with the needs of research conducted at SMK Batik 2 Surakarta. The results showed that: (1) the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in improving student morals include: (a) increasing discipline (b) crafts (c) reducing gadgets, (d) adding insight into religion. (2) the inhibiting factors of Islamic religious education teachers in improving student morals at SMK Batik 2 Surakarta, namely especially from gadgets/cellphones have a strong influence. Actually, it is an appropriate and sophisticated communication tool, but young people now often misuse these gadgets. Then because of the differences in character because the characters of the students are different, maybe that is a very influential factor in this digital era. As for the factor of the lack of religious knowledge, it is very minimal so that the adab of the students is lost.

Abstract

SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Kebakkramat is an Islamic school that guides its students to memorize the Qur'an. Memorizing the Qur'an is done to increase students' love and closeness to the Qur'an and to achieve the virtues of memorizing the Qur'an. To improve the memorization ability of students at SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Kebakkramat, PAI teachers have various efforts including providing motivation to students to have enthusiasm and sincerity in memorizing the Qur'an, memorizing the Qur'an in class, repeating memorization or muroja'ah, collaborating with parents or guardians of students, flash pesantren, and conducting evaluations to determine whether or not there is an increase in students in memorizing the Qur'an. This research was conducted to find out and describe the PAI teacher's strategy in improving students' ability to memorize the Qur'an at SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Kebakkramat. This research uses qualitative research methods, which seek information about existing symptoms, determine the objectives to be achieved clearly, plan procedures and collect data for reporting. Interviews were conducted with PAI teachers to obtain information about the ways to improve student memorization and the practices carried out. The results showed that PAI teachers have several strategies, namely by providing motivation to students, memorizing the Qur'an in class using several methods.
