Abstract

This research discusses the Analysis of Religious Moderation Values in Extracurricular Activities at Nurul Amal Junior High School Palembang. The purpose of this study was to determine the values of religious moderation in extracurricular activities at Nurul Amal Junior High School Palembang and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors of religious moderation values in extracurricular activities at Nurul Amal Junior High School Palembang. The type of research used by researchers is qualitative research. Data collection methods by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The type of observation carried out is participant observation and the type of interview used is in-depth interview. The data analysis technique is to use data reduction and data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the values of religious moderation contained in extracurricular activities at Nurul Amal Junior High School Palembang are the value of national commitment students are taught to foster love for the country. The value of tolerance is instilled in students, so that students can respect and appreciate each other with the differences that exist, both between people of the same religion and between religious communities. Supporting factors for the values of religious moderation in extracurricular activities are the principal and the teachers who supervise extracurricular activities, who play an active role in supporting the values of religious moderation and adequate infrastructure. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is the lack of implementation time and the lack of enthusiasm of some students to participate in Islamic spiritual extracurricular activities.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Internalization of Religious Moderation Values ​​Through Andragogy Theory towards PAI UIN Raden Fatah Palembang Students". This research focuses on the instillation of religious moderation values ​​carried out by students who are adults and in this case, the andragogy theory is a suitable theory for internalizing religious moderation for PAI UIN Raden Fatah Palembang students. The research method used is qualitative research using data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. After obtaining the required data, the researcher continues the next process, namely analyzing the data to obtain results using data analysis techniques that use the first stage, namely data reduction, and continuing with data display and drawing conclusions to obtain data results that will be validated. The data obtained is valid because it is supported by sources that are relevant to qualitative research. The internalization of the values ​​of religious moderation through andragogy theory for PAI UIN Raden Fatah Palembang students is carried out through various activities such as religious Fridays, introduction to student academic culture (PBAK), as well as materials that relate to religious moderation, namely in the Pancasila and Citizenship courses which The result is that PAI UIN Raden Fatah students behave moderately, which can be seen from the phenomena that occur.

Abstract

Strengthening religious education is one of the solutions implemented for female students in the current era, especially for MAN 2 Surakarta female students. Strengthening this education by providing a driving point for education in boarding schools. This boarding school is a school education system in which students, teachers, and school administrators are in the same school environment for a certain period of time. The program provided at MAN 2 provides a form of strengthening religious education in the form of enthusiasm for religion, historical values, ​​and moral wisdom applied in the Islamic religion. Abstract

The purpose of this study is twofold, namely: (1) to describe the types of conjunctions used, and (2) to describe the use of conjunctions in descriptive texts written by students of class IX Tahfizh SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Surakarta. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Qualitative research is a research process to understand human or social phenomena by creating a comprehensive and complex picture that can be presented in words, reporting detailed views obtained from informant sources, and conducted in a natural setting. The data of this research are sentences that use conjunctions in descriptive texts written by students of class IX Tahfizh SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Surakarta. The data source in this research is the description text written by the ninth-grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Surakarta. The data were analyzed by classifying, analyzing, and discussing the data based on technical theory. The results of this study amounted to 25 data consisting of four types of conjunctions, namely: coordinative conjunctions, correlative conjunctions, subordinative conjunctions, and inter-sentence conjunctions. For the use of conjunctions in the description texts written by students of class IX Tahfizh SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Surakarta, there are 16 inaccurate uses of correlative conjunctions and 5 inaccurate uses of inter-sentence conjunctions. The inaccuracy is caused by students' lack of understanding of the use of conjunctions.

Abstract

The principal is a leader in an institution, namely a school, who has full responsibility for the school he leads. One of these responsibilities is to ensure that every student does righteous deeds, in accordance with Islamic values. This study aims to look at the principal's efforts to cultivate morals at SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Colomadu Superior Program, in this case, the teacher is always a good example for students so that students are inspired by the akhlakul kharimah that is exemplified. The method used in this research is through data collection techniques and interviews, which are conducted using a phenomenological qualitative approach. The object of this research is the principal, teachers, and students at the junior high school. The sources used are data from data collection and interviews. The results of this study can be seen that the principal's efforts to foster the morals of students are by creating programs, such as internship programs, specialization classes, joint dhuha prayers, murotal activities together before learning activities, and before asr prayers, Sunday morning congregation activities every two months, and tahfidz quarantine., besides that, it also provides good examples related to morals to students and gives advice to students related to morals.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the teacher's strategy in dealing with the difficulties experienced by PPTQ Al Ikhlas Sukoharjo students in reading the Al-Qur'an. This research formulates what problems students experience in reading the Koran and how teachers handle these problems. This research aims to find out what problems students experience in reading the Qur'an and how teachers handle these problems. This research study uses a qualitative methodology. This research is included in the classification of field research. The data obtained from this research is through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research show that the strategies applied to overcome difficulties in reading and writing the Al-Qur'an at PPTQ Al Ikhlas, Sukoharjo are, (1) The teacher asks students to read pieces of letters in the Al-Quran one by one. Then, for students who can read it fluently, they are taught to use tones which will later be used in the Al-Quran learning process. (2) In the process of learning to read the Koran, the teacher always gives an example of correct reading and tartil first. Then the teacher asks the students to follow along simultaneously, then the teacher asks or appoints the students one by one to repeat the reading that has been exemplified, and (3) In implementing the process of learning to write the Koran, the teacher writes pieces of verses in the Koran on the blackboard, then the students are asked to write back in their respective notebooks.

Abstract

Education can take place both inside and outside educational institutions and serves people of all ages. Pesantren is a religious institution that provides education and teaching as well as developing and spreading Islam. This study aims to describe the educational methods found in the Omah Ngaji Berbagi Community Islamic Boarding School by using pesantren education methods in the community. Researchers used a qualitative descriptive approach. Sources of data from the coaches, leaders, and students of the Omah Ngaji Berbagi Community Islamic Boarding School. Data analysis techniques in this study are data collection, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the Omah Ngaji Berbagi Community Islamic Boarding School is a pesantren that can accommodate people of all ages with the aim of fostering the community using pesantren education including learning to recite the Koran from scratch using the dirosa method, tahsin, basic Islamic material, Fiqh education (Kitab Safinatun Najah), memorization of the Quran & hadith, material on the chapter of Adab (Kitab Bulughul Maram). The material taught includes learning to recite the Koran from scratch for the first four months from the time of entry, tahsin, Fiqh material, memorization of the Quran & Hadith, adab, and Aqidah. The method of learning to recite from zero using books from Dirosa with twenty meetings, memorizing the Quran and hadith about tholabul ilmi, fiqh material taken from the book of Fikih Sakinah Tunnajah, and adab material using Kitab Bulughul Maram.

Abstract

Education has become a human need that allows us to develop better from time to time. Many figures are from various civilizations including Islam and the West. Syed Muhammad Nauqib Al-Attas is one of the contemporary Islamic figures who focuses more on education, especially Islamic education. In general, views regarding the goals of education are divided into 2 types, both of which are at different levels. The first view is with a societal orientation, namely that education is an effort to form a society that has good attitudes, good attitudes here are good for government in the form of democracy, kingdom, or oligarchy. This research attempts to find Al-Attas’ Islamic education. This article is library research. Through his books, it is found that Al-Attas’s concept pf education is ta’dib. Ta'dib is the process of instilling adab in humans (students). Through proper Islamic education, Al-Attas aims to produce a man of adab, who is able to benefit an individual, society, and the state. For seeking Allah’s pleasure, the curriculum created by Al-Attas is divided into two, namely science fardhu of 'ain and science of fardhu kifayah, through these two sciences a man is expected to fulfill their needs as living beings. Without neglecting the importance of the knowledge of Islam as his worldview in learning science, a man requires a teacher to guide him. Teachers whose equipped with the right knowledge and adab properly can most possibly be a good example to their students.

Abstract

Studying the history of Islamic culture cannot be separated from the teacher's role in transferring effective learning. The characteristics of SKI learning, most of which emphasize the ability to understand events that must be read and memorized, especially those used in the learning process using Arabic, so that problems arise, namely students' difficulty in learning. The purpose of this research is to find out the role of teacher pedagogical competence in overcoming SKI learning difficulties. The research was conducted at MTS Al-Irsyad 7 Batu City, where the subjects studied were class VIII students. The research uses descriptive qualitative research. The data was carried out using observation techniques by directly observing learning activities at school, then conducting interviews with SKI teachers and class VIII students, and documentation. The results are 1) The competence of teachers who teach Islamic Cultural History is quite good, consisting of various abilities: (a) understanding students (b) designing learning (c) teaching dialogically, and educating (d) evaluating (e) developing students. 2) Learning difficulties which include (a) learning using Arabic (b) lack of time in the learning process (c) Differences in student capabilities. 3) Solutions to resolve learning difficulties by (a) Providing a special approach to students who have learning difficulties (b) using drill and lecture methods

Abstract

Religious character has an important role as a foundation for life that is not only done at school through learning activities but also by habituation in life. The purpose of this study is to find out the habituation activities at school and the improvement of religious character carried out by religious habituation as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of habituation. This study applied a descriptive qualitative research approach, with the principal and Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers as the research subjects. The results showed that there are several religious habits at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta in improving the religious character of students, such as shoalt dhuha in the congregation, murojaah ba'da dhuha, the application of the 5S principle, which includes smiles, greetings, greetings, politeness, and courtesy, along with the cultivation of habits to perform prayers. dzuhur and ashar in the congregation and habituation of Friday recitation every month. From this habituation, there is an increase in the religious character of students in several ways, such as discipline, a love of reading and memorizing the Qur'an, and a sense of responsibility. Supportive factors include support from parents and the availability of adequate school facilities. Conversely, the hindering factors involve differences in students' backgrounds and the influence of the environment as well as interactions between learners.
