Abstract

This study aims to gather information about students' problem-solving abilities and explore differences in their skills after using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model supported by GeoGebra learning media. The research was conducted because not all students possess strong problem-solving skills and are accustomed to working on problems using these skills. In response to this issue, a quantitative experimental study was carried out with a Quasi-Experimental Design, specifically a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The results showed a t value of -3.054 and a significance level (Sig. (2-tailed)) of 0.004. Since this significance value is less than 0.05, it indicates a significant difference between the two groups. The average N-Gain for the control group was 0.187, categorized as low, while the experimental group had an average N-Gain of 0.353, placing it in the medium category. This suggests that there is a significant difference between the group that received GeoGebra-assisted PBL treatment and the group that did not. Overall, students who used the GeoGebra-supported PBL model showed greater improvement in problem-solving skills than those who did not.

Abstract

Digital transformation has significantly impacted students, with a noticeable rise in bullying cases, particularly among elementary school children. This study aims to analyze the influence of religious character strengthening on bullying behavior at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through triangulation techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that religious character building is implemented through daily practices such as prayer reading, moral education, the dedication of competent teachers, and participation in extracurricular activities. These efforts help students focus on personal growth and have proven effective in preventing bullying. From 30 respondents, 6.67% reported experiencing verbal bullying, 3.33% experienced social bullying, while the remaining 90% had never experienced any form of bullying. Daily habituation, instilling religious values, and teachers acting as role models play a crucial role in shaping students’ moral character and reducing bullying behavior. The results indicate that the applied methods are effective and consistent in forming students with strong religious values. However, the success of character education also depends on external support. A lack of encouragement from the surrounding environment remains a key challenge in achieving optimal outcomes in religious character development.

Abstract

This research is a type of pre-experimental research that involves one class as an experimental class. The main objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of Wordwall media on learning outcomes in fractional materials. The effectiveness studied includes three aspects, namely Mathematics learning outcomes, Student Response to the learning process, and Learning Implementation. The subject of this study is fourth grade students of SDN 70 Singkawang consisting of 29 students. The design used in this study is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design, which involves only one group without a control class. Based on the results of the data obtained, only 31.03% of students achieved the level of completeness in Mathematics subjects. Therefore, the use of Wordwall media is needed as a solution to overcome these problems. The results of this study show that 1) The learning outcomes before using Wordwall media were 9 people or 31.03% who achieved minimum completeness, and after using Wordwall media there were 26 people or 89.66% of students who achieved Minimum Completeness, so that based on the results of data processing there was a significant difference between student learning outcomes before and after using Wordwall media. 2) Students' response to the use of Wordwall media in mathematics learning showed very positive results, which was 96.6%. 3) The implementation of the learning process using Wordwall media is in the very good category.

Abstract

This research is based on the low level of involvement and understanding of the material being taught, especially the material on plant body parts. This research aims to determine the effect and interaction between the Jigsaw cooperative learning model assisted by Maze Chase games on critical thinking skills. The method used is quantitative. The approach used is a pretest-posttest control group design. The test was carried out, showing that the control class significantly increased the critical thinking of students 0.00 < 0.05. Meanwhile, the experimental class was also proven to have provided an increase in thinking skills with significance 0.00 < 0.05. Then, the independent sample t-test shows a significant difference between the two learning models. It can be proven that ANOVA (two-way) obtains significance 0.00 < 0.05. The testing showed that learning with the Cooperative Jigsaw model, assisted by the Maze Chase game, has a posttest value higher than learning with the Cooperative Jigsaw model, even though the learning media are the same, and can improve students' critical thinking capabilities. The application of the jigsaw alone has been able to improve learning outcomes, but by combining Maze Chase, it has a stronger and more consistent influence.
