Abstract

Artikel ilmiah merupakan salah satu aktivitas yang tidak terlepas dari kegiatan berbahasa. Notabennya ejaan dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah juga menjadi sorotan kajian sesuai dengan Peraturan Kementerian Kebudayaan Nomor 50 tahun 2015 yaitu Pedoman Umum Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia (PUEBI) yang mana terdapat empat, yaitu (1) pemakaian huruf, (2) penulisan kata, (3) pemakaian tanda baca, dan (4) penulisan unsur serapan. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk mengkaji kesalahan berbahasa pada penulisan artikel ilmiah mahasiswa. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa data-data dan perilaku yang diamati menggunakan teks secara detil dan secara mendasar penelitian kualitatif memiliki dua tujuan: (1) menggambarkan dan mengungkapkan (to describe and explore), dan (2) menggambarkan dan menjelaskan (to describe and explain). Peneliti juga menggunakan pendekatan analisis isi. Disimpulkan banyaknya kesalahan berbahasa yang dilakukan dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah mahasiswa

Abstract

This article discusses the correlation research between discussion text listening skills and discussion text writing skills for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping. There are three objectives of this research. First, describe the skills of listening to discussion texts for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping. Second, describe the writing skills of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping in writing discussion texts. Third, analyze the correlation of discussion text listening skills with discussion text writing skills for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive method. The design used in this research is correlation. The population of this research is the VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping who are registered in the 2021/2022 academic year, as many as 305 students. The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling of 15% of the population, namely 45 students. The data of this research are in the form of scores of discussion text listening skills test scores and discussion text writing skills test scores. The data were obtained through two types of tests, namely objective tests to measure discussion text listening skills and performance tests to measure students' discussion text writing skills. The results of this study were threefold. First, the skills of listening to discussion texts for class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikapings are in good qualification (B) with an average score of 77.67. Second, the discussion text writing skills of the VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping are in good qualification (B) with an average of 82.31. Third, there is a correlation between the skills of listening to discussion texts and the skills of writing discussion texts of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping with the test results proving that rcount is greater than rtable, namely 0,756 > 0,294.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the use of the structure of the job application letter text and describe the use of linguistic elements of the job application letter text for class XII students of SMA Negeri 3 Painan. This type of research is qualitative using descriptive methods. The data of this study is the structure and linguistic elements of the text of the job application letter for class XII students of SMA Negeri 3 Painan. The source of this research data is the text of the job application letter for class XII students of SMA Negeri 3 Painan, which amounts to twenty texts of job application letters. This instrument is a test. Data is analyzed by describing, analyzing, and discussing data based on theory. The theory used is the theory of structure and linguistic elements of the text of a job cover letter. The result of this study is First, the structure of the text of the job application letter written by class XII students of SMA Negeri 3 Painan is still incorrect in writing. Second, the language of the text of the job application letter written by class XII students of SMA Negeri 3 Painan for the use of spelling and effective sentences is appropriate, but for the use of spellings and effective sentences there are still some that are not appropriate.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is describe the politeness of language contained in the novel Resign! by Almira Bastari. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. The data used is a piece of dialogue from a character that is suspected to contain compliance and violation of the maxim of politeness in language. The source of data in this study is the dialogue of the characters in the novel. Data collection techniques used are library techniques as basic techniques and reading and note-taking techniques as advanced techniques. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique. The results showed that there was compliance and violation of the maxim of politeness in the novel Resign!. The politeness maxims found are (1) tact  maxim, (2) generosity maxim, (3) approbation maxim, (4) modesty maxim, (5) agreement maxim, and (6) sympathy maxim. Meanwhile, the violation of the maxim of politeness in the novel Resign! consists of, (1) tact  maxim, (2) generosity maxim, (3) approbation maxim, (4) modesty maxim, and (5) agreement maxim.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the personality of female characters contained in the short story collection Cinta Never Dance by Asma Nadia and describe the implications of the personality of female characters contained in the collection of short stories Cinta Never Dance by Asma Nadia in literature learning in high school. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data in this study is in the form of a series of sentences, words, character utterances, character actions, and author's narratives that describe the personality of female characters in the short story collection Cinta Never Dance by Asma Nadia. The data collection technique in this study is a documentation technique or literature study. The data validity technique in this study is the triangulation technique. Data is analyzed in three activity flows, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that 1) the short story entitled Telephone Pinky there were four female characters, namely Inne, Sita, Mama, and Mbak Wiwi. Inne has a melancholy personality, Sita has a plegmatic personality, mama has a sanguinis personality, and Mbak Wiwi has a sanguinis personality, 2) a short story entitled Jendela Rara there are three female characters, namely Rara, Emak, and Asih. Rara has a choleric personality, emak has a plegmatic personality, and Asih has a choleric personality, 3) a short story entitled Cinta yang Yang Indah there are two female characters, namely Indah and Mala. Indah has a sanguinis personality and Mala has a sanguinis personality, 4) Ten Million Rupiah short stories there are two female characters, namely Ibu and Sri. Mom has a melancholy personality and Sri has a plegmatic personality, 5) Jhoni the Boss's short story has one female character, namely Mrs. Jhoni. Jhoni's mother has a melancholy personality, 6) the short story Tears Bireuen there is one female character, namely Inong. Inong has a melancholy personality, 7) the short story Ibu Goes A Month there is one female character, namely Mrs. Saiman. Mrs. Saiman has a choleric personality, 8) short stories Loose Rasa there are four female characters, namely Widi, Mia, Uthe, and Sarah. Widi has a choleric personality, Mia has a plegmatic personality, Uthe has a sanguinis personality, and Sarah has a sanguinis personality, 9) Newspaper short stories there are two female characters, namely Wife Maman and Mbak Kinarsih (Wife of Japra). Maman's wife has a plegmatic personality and Mbak Kinarsih has a sanguinis personality, 10) a short story entitled Jejak Surga there are six female characters, namely Ken, Mama Alia, Bik Nah, Ibu Dedi, the woman who guards the rice stall, and Ayuningsih.Ken has a sanguinis personality, mama Alia has a choleric personality, Bik Nah has a plegmatic personality, Dedi's mother has a sanguinis personality, the rice stall keeper woman has a choleric personality,  and Ayuningsih has a personality and is plegmatic.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to describe the values of character education in the novel Di Antara Dua Sujud by Muhammad Irata. This type of research is qualitative using descriptive method. This study uses a mimetic approach. The data in this study are data about the values of character education contained in the novel Di Antara Dua Sujud by Muhammad Irata. The data is in the form of phrases, words and sentences contained in the novel Between Two Sujud. The data source in this study is Between Two Sujud by Muhammad Irata, which was published in 2017 by Mutiara Media with 412 pages thick. The research instrument was the researcher himself with the additional help of a recording sheet format. Data collection techniques include reading repeatedly, recording data, and classifying data related to character education values in the novel Di Antara Dua Sujud by Muhammad Irata. The data analysis technique is a qualitative description technique. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, eight types of character education values were found in the novel Di Antara Dua Sujud by Muhammad Irata. First, the value of honest character education. Second, the value of character education is curiosity. Third, the value of hard work character education. Fourth, the value of friendly character education. Fifth, the value of peace-loving character education. Sixth, the value of character education is fond of reading. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was aimed to determine the validity of the design development of the e-Learning-Based Sharing Reading Literacy Model Design. this research was conducted using the development method. This the research is more related to formative studies with the use of exploratory studies for evaluation during the development process. In this study, it was carried out at the validation stage which involved experts in their fields. The research instrument used to obtain data is through a validity assessment by filling out a validation questionnaire sheet, consisting of 22 statement items, with 3 indicators and 7 sub indicators. The result of this research showed that development of the e-learningn-based sharing reading literacy model design is valid Keywords: Model design, reading sharing literacy, e-learning, validity

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian korelasional yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Flipped Classroom. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa XI IPA 3 SMAN 6 Makassar Tahun Ajaran 2021-2022. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 64 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan uji kesetaraan. Pengumpulan data berpikir kritis menggunakan tes essai yang terintegrasi dengan tes hasil belajar siswa pada materi menulis cerpen. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan terdapat korelasi antara keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa. Adanya korelasi karena berpikir kritis dapat memberdayakan dan meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mendeskripsikan struktur dan ciri kebahasaan teks eksposisi siswa kelas X SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dan sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah struktur dan ciri kebahasaan teks eksposisi sebanyak 36 karya siswa. Peneliti adalah instrumen penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi data umum, mengidentifikasi data berdasarkan teori, menganalisis data, mencatat data yang telah dianalisis, dan menyimpulkan. Temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah pertama, siswa kelas X SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang tergolong baik dalam penggunaan teks eksposisi. Hal ini ditinjau berdasarkan kelengkapan dan ketepatan penggunaan tesis, argumentasi, dan penegasan ulang. Meskipun demikian, masih ada beberapa penggunaan tesis, argumentasi, dan penegasan ulang yang tidak sesuai dengan teori. Kedua, siswa telah menggunakan keempat ciri kebahasaan, yaitu pronomina, nomina, verba, dan konjungsi.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Pemerolehan bahasa reseptif dan ekspresif pada anak autisme berbeda-beda, sesuai dengan intelektual yang dimiliki oleh anak tersebut. Tulisan ini memiliki tujuan untuk memaparkan dan mendeskripsikan pemerolehan bahasa reseptif dan ekspresif yang dimiliki oleh Gibran yang memiliki penyakit autism ringan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi non partisipan untuk mengamati proses belajar anak dalam menunjukkan gambar, meniru suara, dan memperlihatkan gambar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemerolehan bahasa reseptif Gibran hanya pada beberapa unsur saja, yaitu mengidentifikasi anggota tubuh, hewan, buah, dan benda. Pengidentifikasian yang dilakukan Gibran tidak seluruhnya ia kuasai, hanya beberapa saja. Begitupun dengan pemerolehan bahasa ekspresif. Gibran yang dapat meniru suara huruf vocal, suara suku kata, dan kata yang hanya telah ia pelajari saja dan ketika disuruh mengulangi lagi ia tidak mampu mengulang seluruhnya. Ia hanya bisa menyebutkan kata mama, papa, dan bu.Keywords: pemerolehan, bahasa, reseptif, ekspresif, autisme
