The Journal of Nonformal Education and Community Empowerment is published twice a year in June and December. This journal is published by the Department of nonformal Education Faculty of Education Semarang State University since 2012, in 2017 changed with the new ISSN and in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Non-Formal Education Academics. Disclose research results on non-formal education focus areas covering topics, (1) Community Based Education: literacy, equity, courses, training, life skills, community counseling, community empowerment, social work; (2) Family-Based Education: parenting, early childhood education, play group, homeschooling.

The purpose of this study is to describe the learning management in training preparation for Japan internship program at LPK Wakashio Gakkou, which includes planning, implementation, coaching, and evaluation of learning. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data validity technique uses triangulation of sources, methods and theories. Data analysis techniques include by data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and taking conclusions. The results of this study, know that learning planning is prepared by tutors based on user requests. Learning implementation is carried out intensively by using the dormitory as a compulsory residence for students, coaching is conducted relating to aspects of student's attitude / discipline during training activities. Evaluation of the results learning is carried out periodically, students are satisfied with the training activities provided by LPK Wakashio Gakkou for gaining knowledge in Japanese, work skills, good physical and disciplinary that are useful as provisions for internships to Japan.

This study aims to describe management, and determine the supporting and inhibiting factors of TBM Taman Pintar OI Kudus. The research method uses a qualitative approach. The research subjects included the chairman, 2 managers, 3 volunteers and 1 visitor, while the informants included 2 visitors. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis uses interactive models according to Miles and Huberman. The technique for checking the validity of data uses the theory, source and method triangulation techniques. The results showed that the management at TBM Taman Pintar OI Kudus was able to run well. Supporting factors include good and adequate facilities, good and adequate teaching and educational staff, support from the community and BPK OI, as well as funds from donors and contributions from BPK OI Kudus members. Inhibiting factors include boredom and laziness of children, as well as various activities that are owned by the managers and volunteers.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis sikap, minat belajar, motivasi belajar, sikap terhadap motivasi belajar, pengaruh minat belajar terhadap motivasi belajar, dan pengaruh sikap dan minat belajar terhadap motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner penelitian dan dokumentasi Jenis penelitian expost facto, dan teknik analisisnya adalah teknik regresi linier berganda. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan peserta didik pendidikan kesetaraan paket c SKB Jepara. Sampling dalam penelitian ini menggunakan propability proportionate random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat sikap, minat dan motivasi belajar peserta didik paket c SKB Jepara dikatakan “Cukup Baik†. Hasil analisis diketahui skor F hitung = 39,403 lebih besar dari F tabel = 3,06 sehingga disimpulkan sikap dan minat belajar berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar. Besaran pengaruh sikap dan minat belajar terhadap motivasi belajar mencapai 74,50%.

This study aims to skill to understand the implementation of the education automotive academic year 2019 / 2018 provided by social institution youth kabupaten indralaya ogan an ilir.Type used the quantitative research descriptive.Population were 14 people and entire population object sample taken to be research.Data collection method used in this research was survey methods, and observation.Research show that the implementation of education skill automotive seen from ten members, indicators learning instructors learning, of learning, learning methods, learning facilities, place learning, funds, learning study groups, a learning program and study results good criteria. they came from ten indicators it is still for facilities there is a shortage of learning that is a machine tool motor still less like a piston , a weaver shuttle ring , the crank shaft , and the not institution based on the learn to an apprentice dibengkel automotive in a society.

This study aims to describe the process of caring for children under five in working mothers from the aspect of care and aspects of the role of mothers in the village of Pedamaran V, Ogan Komering Ilir district. This type of research is descriptive using a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study are mothers who work more than 8 hours per day with work as fishermen, laborers, and traders and also 3 people who help in the process of caring for children under five. The results of this study the role of mothers goes well because there are other people who help mothers both from the aspect of care and aspects of the role of the mother is the process of caring for children under five in working mothers has been done well.

This study aims to determine the implementation of the rural appresial participatory approach in the women's empowerment program at PKBM Rezky Amaliyah and the empowerment model. This study uses a qualitative approach to PRA research design, research locations in the Masalle District, Enrekang Regency. data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Research subjects are managers of PKBM, community leaders, partners and training participants. The technique used is purposive sampling, analysis the data used is quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the PRA approach was effective in improving the standard of living of the community by utilizing information technology-based production houses. The PRA model formulated with PKBM managers found that at the reflection stage it was necessary to monitor and evaluate at the planning and action stages so that the outputs and outcomes of the activities could be known training.

This study was conducted to find out how the application of project class activities in the PKBM Package C program at Kak Seto homeschooling, Bintaro, Jakarta. This research was conducted using qualitative methods in a descriptive form. The approach taken is to conduct observations, interviews, documentation, and also case studies. The subjects of the study were the tutor, head of the curriculum, and learner. It was concluded that the planning of project class program activities to improve the confidence of Kak Seto homeschooling is done by involving all elements involved including learning citizens. The implementation of the project class learning model gets a good response from students, with the enthusiasm and active participation in various activities carried out. The project class activities have an impact on increasing self-confidence in aspects of behavior, religious, and emotional.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of family capacity building programs in improving family welfare in Sawah Luhur, Sub-District Kasemen Serang, City Banten Province. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, where data obtained from interviews, the source of research data are the coordinator, a companion and 21 participants. The results showed that the effectiveness of the program to increase family capacity in improving family welfare in the Sawah Luhur Village, Kasemen District, Serang City, Banten Province was quite effective, with not many obstacles passed during the program, this was based on information from relevant parties. The results of the program to increase family capacity in improving family welfare have been achieved participants have increased in terms of knowledge, attitudes and independent life skills. Supporting and inhibiting factors in the program held include the level of attendance of learning residents less than the maximum of the organizers there are shortcomings with limitations in the provision of learning media.

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the entrepreneurial character of PLS FIP UNNES students. The study was designed using a quantitative descriptive approach. The population in this study were PLS students 2016-2018. The sampling technique in this study is the proportional stratified random sampling technique, and the sampling calculation technique uses Isacc and Michel. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive percentages analysis. The results showed the self-introduction of PLS study program students included in the strong category. The entrepreneurial character of PLS Study Program students is in the medium potential category. The learning strategies of entrepreneurship education in PLS study programs are considered effective in providing entrepreneurial skills for students majoring in PLS FIP UNNES.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi program pelatihan keterampilan budidaya ititk petelur di Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat Nurul Fitri Kecamatan Cikedal Kabupaten Pandeglang. Metodologi dalam peneilitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, sample dari penelitian ini terdiri dari satu orang pengelola, satu orang tutor dan 5 warga belajar. Hasil dari penelitian ini dilihat dari aspek (1) Perencanaan Program langkah yang ditempuh dalam menyusun Perencanaan program pelatihan keterampilan budidaya itik petelur di Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Nurul Fitri pertama menentukan tujuan, menentukan sasaran, menetukan waktu dan tempat, hasil diskusi panitia sebelum pelaksanaan program PKW, dan menetukan anggaran. (2) Pelaksaan Program pelatihan keterampilan budidaya itik petelur diawali dengan an perekrutan peserta pelatihan, merekrut istruktur, menyiapkan sarana dan prasarana dan proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran. (3) Evaluasi Program pelatihan keterampilan budidaya itik petelur di Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat PKBM Nurul Fitri pertama pada ranah kongnitif, ranah afektif dan ranah psikomotorik.
