Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui (1) Apa saja upaya yang dilakukan instruktur dalam memberdayakan warga belajar pelatihan las SMAW di Balai Latihan Kerja (BLK) Kabupaten Pandeglang? (2) Bagaimana hasil dari program pelatihan las SMAW dalam memberdayakan warga belajar oleh instruktur di Balai Latihan Kerja (BLK) Kabupaten Pandeglang? (3) Apa saja faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat yang dialami instruktur dalam memberdayakan warga belajar pada pelatihan las SMAW di Balai Latihan Kerja (BLK) Kabupaten Pandeglang?. Metode penelitian yang digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini dengan pendekatan kualitatif harus didasarkan pada data atau informasi yang diperoleh melalui penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) Wawancara, (2) Observasi, (3) Dokumentasi. Adapun tahap pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu tahap orientasi, tahap eksplorasi dan tahap member check. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data meliputi tahap reduksi, penyajian data dan tahap verifikasi. Sumber data penelitian ini yaitu instruktur dan warga belajar di Balai Latihan Kerja (BLK) Kabupaten Pandeglang. Sebagai akhir dari pembahasan ini, penulis menyampaikan kesimpulan, sebagai berikut: 1. Upaya yang dilakukan instruktur dalam memberdayakan warga belajar mealui pelatihan las SMAW di Balai Latihan Kerja (BLK) Kabupaten Pandeglang adalah a) Menciptakan iklim yang memungkinkan potensi masyarakat berkembang (Enabling), b) Mengaktualisasikan potensi yang sudah dimiliki oleh masyarakat (Empowering), c) Memberdayakan berarti pula melindungi (Protecting), 2. Hasil upaya instruktur dalam memberdayakan warga belajar melalui pelatihan las di BLK Kabupaten Pandeglang adalah: a) Kognitif, b) Afektif, c) Psikomotor, 3. Faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat yang dialami instruktur dalam memberdayakan warga belajar melalui pelatihan las SMAW ini adalah instruktur yang terampil, tingginya semangat warga belajar, dan lokasi yang strategis. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah sarana dan prasarana.

Abstract

The BIMKER program is one of the life skill WBP improvement activities in Class II A Prison Serang. This activity has been held for long time, but the effectiveness is not well-tested yet, this case is what made the researcher done the research. This research has purposes to know (1) The effectiveness of BIMKER program implementation in WBP life skill managing in Dr. Sahardjo Class II A Prison Serang-Banten. (2) personal skill, Social Skill, and vocational skill of WBP after participating in the BIMKER program in the Dr. Sahardjo Class II A Prison Serang-Banten.(3) supporting and demotivating factor in the BIMKER program of Dr. Sahardjo Class II A Prison Serang-Banten. The research methodology that used in this research is non experimental research which is have an intention to describe the result of the research because this kind of research is a research that observed variables for the real condition without any manipulation (intervention) of the researcher, and the research phenomenological is qualitative. In a research with qualitative phenomenological should based on data or information which is taken from the research: (1) Observation (2) Documentation, and (Interview) which is consist of: observation, registry, data and fact collection that happened with additional references from various resources such as book, journal and scientific article that related to discussed problem. The data collection technique and the data analysis in this research are data reduction, data presentation and verification or conclusion. From the research can taken conclusions: (1) the effectiveness of BIMKER program in managing WBP life skill in Dr. Sahardjo Class II A Prison Serang-Banten, the researcher summarize that the participant who participate the program already has knowledge, work experience, (life skill) and having an entrepreneur job in majority. (2) the personal skill, Social Skill, and vocational skill of WBP after participated in the BIMKER program Dr. Sahardjo Class II A Prison Serang-Banten, that WBP who participated in the BIMKER program already has personal capability competence, social capability and work capability. This factor is proven by training evaluation that done by a tutor after the training. (3) Supporting and demotivating factor in the BIMKER program in Dr. Sahardjo Class II A Prison Serang-Banten, that the supporting factor in the BIMKER program is more dominant rather than then demotivating factor itself, this information is proven by the outcome from the WBP.

Abstract

This inspires the researcher to implement research. The aim of the research is to describe the informal learning process of the society to develop their “onthel” rental businesses. This research employed a qualitative research design using a case study approach. The research setting was in Tulungrejo village, Pare, Kediri. Informants of the research were the owners of “onthel” rental business namely Mr. No and HF as well as the director of Mahesa Institute. The data collection techniques consisted of depth interview, observation, and documentation. The technique of data analysis was conducted in several stages including data process, data description, data classification, data interpretation, data presentation, and conclusion draw. The testing process of validity on findings was implemented using triangulation of sources and techniques. The results showed that the development of bicycle rental business is actualized in the informal community learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a model of entrepreneurship-based literacy to improve productive economy for the wives of traditional fishermen. This literacy model is a solution in empowering the wives of traditional poor fishermen through literacy learning (reading, writing, arithmetic, speaking and listening) based on life skills and entrepreneurial skills. Entrepreneurship-based literacy models are designed so that women and fishermen's wives are able to face life's problems through life skills-based literacy learning and entrepreneurship as a solution to improving the family economy. This research approach uses research and development. The study was conducted on poor fishermen's wife women in Tugu District, Semarang City, Central Java. Data collection instruments and techniques used interview, observation, and documentation guidelines and focus group discussions (FGD). The research subject was the wife of the fisherman. The data analysis technique was carried out by analyzing the data from interviews, observations, and documentation in a qualitative and development descriptive manner. The results showed that: (1) the socio-economic and education of the fishermen's family were in poor condition, they were still in poor socio-economic conditions. 3) Efforts made by the wives of fishermen to meet the economic needs of their families by relying on existing income for their daily needs. 3) Entrepreneurship-based literacy education is based on fulfilling the interests and needs of the wives of traditional fishermen, and includes activities that help them to apply new abilities and skills acquired, in order to improve their quality and standard of living. The literacy model developed emphasizes life skills related learning needs that consist of a variety of vocational skills and also emphasizes the development of work motivation, modern attitudes, and other life skills that can arouse entrepreneurial spirit so that it can improve productive economies.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the services provided by the Tresna Werdha Kasih Sayang Ibu Social Institution Batusangkar Tanah Datar District West Sumatra Province, to the elderly who are supported. The method used is qualitative with primary and secondary data sources. His research subject was the Head of the Home, two nursing staff and three elderly people who were still able to communicate normally. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The services provided by the institution to the elderly are good, both from health services, mental and spiritual services, physical services, social and legal services, as well as services for assistive devices. It's just that the problems that arise are in the non-technical factor, that is the excess of health workers, the absence of permanent doctors who are ready if there is a night incident, as well as the lack of cleaning staff.

Abstract

This study, the purpose of which the researchers want to point out is to find out the application of the projec based learning learning model in independent learning on package C equality education at PKBM Abdi Pertiwi Kec. Serant City Walantaka. The method used in this study is by using a descriptive qualitative approach. The technique of collecting data is by interview, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that the formulation of an effective learning model using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) strategy consists of the planning and implementation stages. The planning phase is the stage carried out by educators in designing independent learning with the PjBL strategy which consists of: 1) mapping of SK-KD; 2) determine the learning theme; 3) determine KD related to the theme; 4) develop indicators; 5) develop syllabus; and 6) developing RPP. The implementation stage is the stage of implementing the Project Based Learning steps in independent learning by students. This stage consists of steps: 1) asking; 2) plan the project; 3) make a schedule; 4) carry out the project; 5) monitoring; 6) assess; and 7) evaluate.

Abstract

Needs can be a desire to improve current performance or to correct shortcomings. Disadvantages are performance that does not meet current standards. This meansthat there are ways that are determined in carrying out a task and the differenceis creating a problem. The process of identifying needs helps trainers and peoplerequesting training to determine training needs or lack of performance.Identification can be formal (using survey and interview techniques) or informal(asking questions about those involved). data collection in the identification oftraining needs at training institutions in the city of Bandung, namely: Planningdata collection in the identification of training needs at training institutions inthe city of Bandung, which is compiled based on data or information to beobtained related to training programs that meet the target needs. So to get thedata, each institution has different data collection techniques. The choice of thetechnique is determined by several factors including the depth and clarity of thedata to be obtained, the target of identifying needs that includes the number andlocation of the target, and the number of data collectors.

Abstract

In the process, learning to instruct instructors as teachers is the creator of learning conditions in which the instructor is responsible for the education of the learners. Therefore, the instructor should have a good level of competence in carrying out his duties as a teacher either pedagogical competence, personality competence, professional competence and social competence. With this competence, it is expected that the instructor can motivate the students to learn better, so that the expected learning result is a satisfactory achievement. The purpose of this research is to know the correlation of pedagogic competence, personality competence, professional competence and social competence of instructor in improving the learning result of freshwater fish processing trainees at LKP Sanggar Budaya An-Nahdlah in Pandeglang. The research approach used in this research is quantitative research with research method used in this research is using non experiment method. This research is a correlation research, because it aims to test the influence or correlation between several research variables and to identify predictive relationships using correlation techniques or more sophisticated statistical techniques. The results obtained that, (1) the level of competence of instructors in LKP Sanggar Budaya An-Nahdlah Pandeglang according to the distribution of data obtained in the level enough with a large percentage of pedagogic competence of 87.2%, personal competence of 76.6%, professional competence of 79.3%, and social competence 80.0%. (2) there is a relationship between instructor's competence (pedagogic, personality, professional, and social) in improving learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the knowledge of group dynamics in Majelis Taklim Jami'atul Muslimah at Mataram Village, Tugumulyo Subdistrict, Musi Rawas Regency. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include primary data and secondary data. The population of this study amounted to 33 people and a sample of 33 people became total sampling. Data were analyzed descriptively using percentages. The results showed that knowledge of group dynamics in Majelis Taklim Jami'atul Muslimah was in the high category with a percentage of 78.8%. Conclusions from this study are that knowledge of group dynamics is in a high category because of clear group goals, group task functions have been carried out well, solidarity between members and good group leaders and a well-formed group atmosphere.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a product in the form of Vocational Learning Module Development in the Package C Program at the Community Learning Activity Center Melati Ogan Ilir. This development research was carried out by referring to the steps to develop the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The research trial subjects consisted of experts, and the target of product users, namely tutors, were taken using purposive sampling method, so the research subjects were obtained, namely 2 experts, and 2 tutors package C program. This research was conducted by testing research products until the small group test stage and the data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that: The package C vocational learning module was judged to be very feasible to be used by residents of learning and teachers or package C tutors in the implementation of vocational learning especially traditional dance arts. The level of use of package C vocational learning modules high for use by study residents.
