Abstract

Bank Sumut is a BUMD which is well-known for its organizational culture and in recent years Bank Sumut has had a new leader in which the CEO has a background as a leader at Bank Danamon, so this study aims to determine the overall cultural influence between organizational culture, organizational commitment andmjob opportunities on the performance of employees in the central bank office in North Sumatra, in the human resources department and in the retail department. The population in this study consisted of employees from the North Sumatra Medan Bank Office, Human Resources and the Retail Department. The results of the regression analysis showed that of the three independent variables contained in the regression model (organizational culture, organizational commitment and job opportunities). The variables of the organizational culture are significant at 0.04, concluded that the performance of the employees is influenced by the organizational culture (hypothesis 1 is accepted). The variable organizational commitment has a significant value of 0.048. concluded that the organizational commitment influences the performance of the employees (hypothesis 2 is accepted). Workplace variable with a significant value of 0.00. concluded that work facilities influence the performance of employees (hypothesis 3 is accepted). The results showed that the variables organizational culture, organizational commitment and job opportunities together have a positive effect on employee performance. T values with a probability of 0.000 below α (α = 0.05). It can be explained that organizational culture, organizational commitment and work facilities have a positive impact on employee performance.

Abstract

The principal's leadership is one of the determining factors for improving teacher performance in schools because it is very important to determine the high and low learning outcomes of students, productivity and morale of teachers. This can determine the extent to which the principal is able to create work excitement and encourage his subordinates to work in accordance with the policies and programs that have been outlined, so that discipline, work productivity, high teacher performance and student learning outcomes increase. This study was conducted to determine the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance. This study used quantitative research methods with questionnaire data collection techniques. The population in this study is all teachers with a total of 12 people, because the population does not eat much using the saturated sample technique (census) where the entire population is used as a sample. This study shows the results that: The principal's leadership has a significant effect on teacher performance, because the calculation results show the value of t (1) count is 17.338 while t table shows a number of 2.201, thus t calculate the > t table and the specified significance level (α) = 5% with sign. < 0.05 is 0.00, then H0 is rejected, Hi is accepted. The hypothesis indicates that Leadership (X) has a significant effect on Performance (Y). Extent the principal is able to create work excitement and to what extent the principal is able to encourage his subordinates to work in accordance with the policies and programs that have been outlined so that discipline, work productivity and teacher performance are high and student learning outcomes are improved.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine public perceptions and the potential that exists in Sawah Lukis ecotourism. The population of the research is the local community. The research sample used Purposive Random Sampling technique with a total of 55 people. Data collection methods are carried out in several ways, namely observation, in-depth interviews, and questionnaires. The data was then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis methods. Based on the results of observations and interviews, Sawah Lukis ecotourism actually has economic value and the potential for further development. For the sustainability of the existence of ecotourism, institutional-based promotional activities and collaboration are needed to improve the quality of promotion.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of regional taxes and regional levies on Local Original Income during the 2012-2014 budget year. The research object is regional taxes and regional levies. The research method used is qualitative research using multiple linear regression equations processed with SPSS version 21. The data source used is primary data, namely the financial reports of the Aceh Provincial Government for 2012-2014. The research results show that there is a simultaneous influence of regional taxes and regional levies on the Aceh Provincial Government's Local Original Income revenue in 2012-2014. Partially, regional taxes have a positive effect on the Local Original Income of the Aceh Provincial Government, where every increase in the realization of regional tax revenues also increases the Local Original Income. Meanwhile, regional levies have a negative effect on Local Original Income of the Aceh Provincial Government. The magnitude of the influence of regional taxes and regional levies on Local Original Income of the Aceh Provincial Government is 23.8%, while the remaining 76.2% is influenced by other variables not included in this research, such as balancing funds, regional spending, and so on.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the service marketing mix on the decision to choose the New Life credit union in the city of Tebing Tinggi. The sampling technique was carried out using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The sample for this research was taken from 100 respondents and used quantitative data analysis techniques. Partial test results (t-test) were obtained from the results of the assessment of product variables and physical evidence which had a positive but not significant effect on the decision to choose a New Life credit union, price and location variables had a negative and not significant effect on the decision to choose a New Life credit union, promotion variables, people, and processes have a positive and significant influence. The results of the F test for the variables product, price, promotion, location, people, process, and physical evidence simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on the decision to choose the New Life credit union. And the results of the coefficient of determination test (R2) for product, price, promotion, location, people, process and physical evidence variables can explain the decision to choose the New Life credit union in Tebing Tinggi city of 0.492 or 49.2%, the remaining 50.8% is explained by other variables not examined in this research.

Abstract

The research was conducted at PT. Sri Indrapura Sawit Lestari, Siak Regency, Riau Province. This company operates in the field of oil palm plantations and CPO management. With the aim of knowing the partial influence of supervision, compensation and work discipline variables on employee work productivity variables at PT. Sri Indrapura Sawit Lestari. The research used quantitative data and primary data sources taken using interview and questionnaire techniques. Data collection was carried out using the census method or saturated sample to all employees at PT. Sri Indrapura Sawit Lestari, Kerinci Kanan District, which become the population and sample with a total of 83 people. The data analysis method started with instrument tests, classical assumption tests, F tests, path analysis and ends with the t test. The data analysis was also assisted with the help of the IBM SPSS program 21. The research results showed that employee supervision, compensation and work discipline partially influence work productivity at PT. Sri Indrapura Sawit Lestari, Kerinci Kanan District

Abstract

This research was conducted to understand consumer behavior when purchasing goods online Shopee. Previous studies or significant research help to improve the theory and phenomenon of the relationship or influence of variables. The purpose of this study is to conduct a literature evaluation on consumer behavior when purchasing goods via the internet. This journal was written using a Library Research or Literature Review approach, including data from national and international sources. Using this approach, 12 journals were reviewed. The findings reveal that psychological, cultural, social, and personality aspects have a major impact on online consumer behavior. However, there are other factors that influence consumer behavior when buying products online, such as convenience factors, content, response, security, trust, experience, views of people nearby, perceived behavioral control, perceived benefits, lifestyle, information quality, price perception, risk perception, income, promotion, service, quality, rating, and ease of use of E-commerce. However, some journals reveal an insignificant relationship between consumer behavior and their decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Effect of Medical Waste Management on Occupational Safety and Health, this study uses 2 variables, namely Medical Waste Management and Occupational Safety and Health of North Nias Regency Primary Hospital Employees. The type of research used in this study is descriptive with a Quantitative approach, from the research findings, it can be concluded that Medical Waste Management can explain Occupational Safety and Health by 0.652 with a percentage of 65% of the calculation results of the T Test that T calculate the table > T is 7,932 > 2.034 and a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, it can be said that Medical Waste Management has a positive and significant effect on K3. It is expected to improve Medical Waste Management Procedures regularly and provide innovations to all aspects of Employee Safety and Health guarantors. in order to improve employee compliance in carrying out their tupoksinya in accordance with applicable procedures and employees are more concerned about the importance of occupational safety and health.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementation of social media on the development of Micro small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), the influence of social media to increase MSME marketing, and social media influence on productivity improvement of MSMEs. This study using structured interviews, in-depth interviews and observations of MSMEs and social media are used. Subjects in this study were owners, managers and employees of MSMEs were selected by purposive sampling. The study concludes that MSMEs are observed have been using social media in the company. Social media is the most widely used Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter.

Abstract

This study investigated the psychological perceptions of media channels and their effects on consumer behavior, specifically focusing on willingness to buy and advertisement trust. Drawing upon theories of media effects and consumer psychology, the research examined how factors such as perceived closeness, familiarity, and identification with media channels influence consumer attitudes and behaviors. Methodologically, the study employed a mixed-methods approach, combining survey data on media usage and perceptions with experimental manipulations to assess the causal effects of psychological perceptions on consumer behavior. Findings revealed consumers' psychological perceptions of media channels, such as perceived closeness and identification, significantly impact their willingness to buy and trust in advertisements. In conclusion, this research highlights the importance of understanding the nuanced dynamics of media consumption and its implications for marketing and advertising strategies. By integrating theoretical insights with empirical findings, the study contributes to a deeper understanding of the psychological mechanisms underlying consumer behavior in the context of media channels.
