Abstract

This research was conducted at elementary school UPT SDN 002 Pasaribu, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. The problem in this study is about students' difficulties in reading the beginning which can affect student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of learning and improve students' beginning reading skills in class II UPT SDN 002 Pasaribu, Humbang Hasudutan Regency. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects of this study were 28 second grade students, and the object was to improve the ability to read the beginning of Indonesian language by using word card media in second grade students of UPT SDN 002 Pasaribu, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. The data collection techniques used were observation sheets and documentation. The results of the study showed that the implementation of learning using picture word card media with the achievement of completeness in cycle I was in the sufficient category while the achievement of completeness in cycle II was in the good category. The conclusion in this study using picture word card media in early reading in class II UPT SDN 002 Pasaribu, Humbang Hasudutan Regency has increased.

Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process so that students actively develop their potential to have religious spiritual strength, self-knowledge, personality, intelligence, morals The school environment is one of the strategic places where students are educated and fostered, in order to develop and cognitive, affective and psychomotor abilities through a series of learning program activities, habituation, extracurricular and other programs. For the improvement of noble education, as well as the skills needed by themselves, society, nation and state. Science or natural and social sciences is a branch of science that studies natural phenomena and the processes that occur around us, it covers various disciplines such as physics, chemistry, biology and astronomy, science focuses on understanding and applying scientific principles to explain and predict natural phenomena, predictions. Science subjects are also less in demand by students, therefore researchers need to make expectations for education through knowledge integration where emphasis is on combining concepts from the natural and social sciences to provide a more holistic and relevant understanding of global and local issues. The activities carried out in education are learning. "Learning is a conscious effort made by individuals to change behavior both through practice and experience related to cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects". So learning activities are the most important activity in the educational process, and teachers must also be able to provide learning motivation to students in the learning process." As a final product of the learning process, learning outcomes are considered to be able to show what students have known and developed. "Learning outcomes are the abilities that students have Learning outcomes are the abilities that students have after they receive their learning experiences.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning discipline on student learning outcomes in the Pancasila Education subject for grade V at SD Negeri 175799 Baruara, Balige District, Toba Regency. The research method used is the comparative method. The sample in this study amounted to 22 students. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, the t count value = 3.672 and t table = 2.164 were obtained. Because t count > t table (3.672 > 2.164), then H1 is accepted, which means that there is a significant influence between learning discipline and student learning outcomes. Thus, this study proves that learning discipline has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education students for grade V at SD Negeri 175799 Baruara, Balige District, Toba Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of media application Baamboozle learning as a media for eval_uating students' English learning outcomes at SD Negeri 128 Pearung-Humbahas. The sample in this study was class V with a total of 28 students. The research instrument uses observation and tests. Data collection methods use observation sheets, test sheets and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistics. Based on the results of research and data analysis regarding statistical value comparisons and comparisons of learning outcome categories, it has been proven that there is an increase in student learning outcomes in English subjects after implementing game based learning (Baamboozle) so that it can be used as a learning eval_uation medium that is able to increase student activity and enthusiasm. and provide a positive response to the learning media. It can be seen from student learning outcomes through descriptive statistical analysis that before using Baamboozle media the average student score is still in the low interval category and after using Baamboozle media the average student score is in the high interval category significantly. It is known that the average score of students' Pretest results is 38.32 and the average score of students' Posttest results is 72.32, where the Posttest score is greater than the Pretest score. Furthermore, based on the results of inferential statistical analysis using the t-test formula, it is known that the t-count obtained is 29-92 with a frequency of df= 28-1=27, at a significance level of 0.05 or 5% the t table is 1.703. So t-count > ttable or H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. From the results of these data it can be concluded that by applying the Baamboozle media in learning, especially in eval_uating the learning of class V students in the English subject at SD Negeri 128 Pearung-Humbahas, they gave a positive response to this learning media.

Abstract

This research analyzed the kinds of slangword used in harry potter and the chamber of secrets movie. The objectives of this research were to find out the kinds of slang word in harry potter and the chamber of secrets movie, found the most dominant kind of slang word used and the meaning of the most dominant slang word that used. This research applied descriptive qualitative research. The source of data was Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets movie. There were one season film had been analyzed. Based on the analysis, there were three kinds of slang word used in harry potter and the chamber of secrets movie, there were fresh and creative slang word, compounding slang word, and imitative slang word. It consisted of 32 slang word of fresh and creative (82,7%), 51 slang word of compounding (59%), and 3 imitative of slang word (4%). The slang word “muggle” most dominant slang word used in this movie.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the problem-based learning paradigm is useful in improving high-level thinking skills or high-level thinking skills of students of SD Negeri 173531 MEAT Mathematics in the 2024-2025 academic year. This study uses a quasi-experiment as its research methodology. The population of the study was all students of SD Negeri 173531 MEAT Mathematics in the 2024-2025 academic year. The data collection method used a control class and an experimental class. The data collection method in this study used a pretest and posttest. The data analysis method used was the t-test (Independent sample T-Test). In addition, to determine the increase, an n-gain test was carried out. The research findings show that (1) the Problem-Based Learning Model is useful for improving high-level thinking skills (HOTS) or high-level thinking; (2) indicators of knowledge transfer, critical thinking, and problem solving are in the high, medium, and medium categories, respectively

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pengembangan kreativitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran disekolah dasar. Salah satu model yang diyakini mampu meningkatkan kreativitas siswa adalah model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model PJBL dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa kelas V SDN 1 Purwawinangun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent control group. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas VB sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model Project Based Learning, dan kelas VA sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model Direct Instruction. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal pretest dan posttest berbentuk uraian, serta lembar penilaian kreativitas produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 8,84 > 01,68, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Selain itu, nilai N-Gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,70 (kategori tinggi), sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,14 (kategori rendah). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Project Based Learning memberikan pengaruh positif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa sekolah dasar. Abstract

Keberhasilan dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas sangat tergantung pada hubungan yang baik antara pengajar (guru) dan pelajar (siswa). Dengan menguasai kemampuan dasar dalam mengajar dengan baik, guru dapat memberikan umpan balik yang positif kepada siswa, yang selanjutnya akan meningkatkan motivasi siswa, sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai secara maksimal. Sebaliknya, umpan balik yang negatif dari siswa dapat mengganggu proses belajar mereka dan menciptakan rintangan atau kesulitan dalam pembelajaran. Rintangan atau kesulitan dalam belajar ini bisa mengakibatkan ketidakberhasilan dalam mencapai hasil yang optimal. Oleh karena itu, kemampuan mengajar sangat penting bagi seorang guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan keterampilan dasar mengajar mahasiswa calon guru yang melakukan MBKM di SDN 173539 Hutagaol. Dari hasil analisis kuesioner dan indikator yang kami teliti, keterampilan dasar mengajar mahasiswa MBKM Universitas Quality berada pada kategori baik hingga sangat baik. Ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan mengajar yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa MBKM Universitas Quality memberikan dampak positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa selama proses pengajaran, yang terlihat dari penerapan indikator-indikator keterampilan dasar mengajar di kelas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk-bentuk kesantunan dan pelanggaran kesantunan berbahasa yang dilakukan oleh tokoh politik Indonesia di jejaring sosial digital, serta bagaimana penggunaan bahasa tersebut mencerminkan strategi pencitraan dan pembentukan identitas politik. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan dari unggahan media sosial para politisi seperti Ganjar Pranowo, Prabowo Subianto, Anies Baswedan, dan lainnya, melalui teknik simak bebas libat cakap dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bahasa daerah, alih kode, dan gaya bahasa tertentu menjadi strategi untuk membangun kedekatan dengan publik. Di sisi lain, ditemukan pula pelanggaran terhadap prinsip-prinsip kesantunan berbahasa, khususnya dalam konteks debat politik, seperti pelanggaran maksim kebijaksanaan, kemurahan, kerendahan hati, dan kesetujuan. Fenomena ini menegaskan peran penting media sosial sebagai ruang komunikasi politik yang strategis sekaligus menantang dalam menjaga etika berbahasa. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi kontribusi dalam pengembangan komunikasi politik yang lebih etis dan berbudaya di era digital.
