Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the steps for settlement of compensation in the practice of renting a car based on the perspective of the MUI Fatwa Number 43/DSN-MUI/VIII/2004. The formulation of the problem used is how to settle compensation for parties who default (consumers) on verbal agreements made by rental owners (manufacturers) based on MUI Fatwa Number 43/DSN-MUI/VIII/2004. This research includes qualitative research using juridical research methods that use two sources, namely primary and secondary. As well as conducting interviews with several car rental users in Medan City, Medan Marelan District. The results of this study show that several car rental users make verbal agreements between consumers and producers. Regardless of the consequences of the agreement made verbally which will be accepted if one of the agreements is forgotten or not pronounced at the time of the contract, then it will be detrimental to one of the parties. If the consumer commits a default that does not comply with the verbal agreement at the outset, then the consumer will compensate for the loss determined by the producer. According to the perspective of the MUI Fatwa Number 43/DSN-MUI/VIII/2004 general provision number 4, namely the amount of compensation (ta'widh) is in accordance with the value of real compensation (real loss) that must be experienced (fixed cost) in the transaction and not a loss expected to occur (potential loss) due to missed opportunities (opportunity loss or al-furshah al-dhai'ah). Where is the compensation that must be completed according to the agreement made at the beginning by the producer at the beginning, even if it was done verbally

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine whether there is an improvement in students' reading comprehension after being taught using the 'Make a Match' technique. The researcher employed a classroom action research design conducted over two cycles. The research focused on the students of XI IPS 2. The instruments utilized for this study were a reading test and an observation sheet. The results of each cycle revealed that in Cycle I, the technique was not successful. Abstract

In buying and selling used clothing or thrifting, sellers often provide promos for the items being sold. However, there are cases where the buyer is required to add a fee to complete the sale and purchase of the promo, if this is not fulfilled the product will not be sent or the transaction will not be completed. This study aims to find out the practice of adding thrifting buying and selling fees on the @thrift.perempuan account, the additional factors and the law of adding fees as a settlement of buying and selling transactions according to Wahbah Az-Zuhaili. This type of research is empirical juridical research with a conceptual approach and living case studies. Data was collected by interview, observation and document study then the data was processed using qualitative methods with a deductive thinking approach. The results of this study indicate that the concept of conditional buying and selling with additional fees on the @thrift.perempuan account, in Wahbah Az-Zuhaili's opinion, is a fasid sale and purchase because there is no element of honesty from one party and harms the other party

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to know the effectiveness of speed reading technique toward students’ reading comprehension in fable text. A researcher discovered numerous reading errors made by students. True experimental research was used in the design of this study. Students from the experimental group and students from the control group were divided into Effective Reading Rate (ERR) groups for the pre-test and post-test. Students in the experimental group improve their effective reading rate at a faster rate than students in the control group. In the post-test, 2 of the experimental group's students (20%) and 8 of the experimental group's pupils (80%) were categorised as above average readers. 10 kids (100%) in the control group were identified as talkers. The researcher draws the conclusion that the use of speed reading techniques can help students understand fable texts better based on the results.
