Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the role of teachers as educators in enhancing the interest in learning to read and write the Qur'an, to understand the role of teachers as guides in reading and writing the Qur'an, and to identify the inhibiting factors. This study is a qualitative descriptive research, utilizing purposive sampling to select informants, while data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, while the validity of the data is ensured using source triangulation techniques. The research results indicate that the role of teachers as educators has been appropriate in the educational process of their students, as they act as initiators, motivators, and facilitators. The role of teachers as guides means that they have helped students who face learning difficulties, and teachers are able to provide solutions to assist students experiencing learning challenges. Additionally, teachers have also patiently improved the reading of the Qur'an. Factors hindering reading and writing the Qur'an include the negative impact of technological advancements on students' learning of the Qur'an, as well as the importance of parental involvement in students' learning.

Abstract

This study aims to construct an integrated curriculum model, encompassing its objectives, content, implementation, and outcomes. Selecting an integrated curriculum model as a theme is a response to the issue of curriculum dichotomy (knowledge), although it does not completely resolve the issue. This study employed a qualitative library research approach, focusing on collecting and analyzing data from various relevant literature sources. Data were obtained from scientific books, academic journals, research articles, curriculum documents, and trusted digital sources discussing the integrated curriculum. The results indicate that developing a curriculum model begins with the formulation of objectives, content, implementation, and outcomes or evaluation. Then, modifications are made to each component of the curriculum to construct an integrated curriculum model. Although this does not resolve the issue of curriculum dichotomy in educational institutions, the space for scientific dialectics is very open and possible with the existence of an integrated curriculum model with Islamic values, which then provides new perspectives for students.

Abstract

This article explores the role of interfaith collaboration in shaping social harmony through moderate Islamic education practices in Malang City, Indonesia. Focusing on the Forum for Religious Harmony (FKAUB), this qualitative case study investigates the strategic use of social action and conflict resolution to build religious harmony in a multicultural urban society. Drawing on data collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis, the study reveals that FKAUB’s approach is grounded in inclusivity, active listening, and educational outreach. These strategies not only mitigate religious tensions but also foster long-term interfaith understanding. Findings show that religious moderation, when translated into concrete social actions, can be an effective model for peacebuilding. The study concludes that FKAUB’s initiatives represent a replicable model for other pluralistic communities seeking to navigate religious diversity through collaborative and educational means.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of numbers bowling educational game tools on cognitive abilities in early childhood. Usually, early childhood has problems in improving their cognitive abilities, so unique and interesting ways are needed to improve children's cognitive abilities. This method can be done in the form of games, because games can cause pleasure and satisfaction for a child, namely through the game of number bowling. This research is a qualitative research with a type of field study research conducted by collecting various methods. The data collection technique in this study uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique is through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that through this number bowling educational game tool, children are able to develop their cognition by maximizing children's thinking patterns when they want to roll the ball, so that they can drop the number bowling pin that has been arranged by the teacher. Children can name the colors and numbers on the bowling numbers they drop.

Abstract

In addition to being a place to gain knowledge, educational institutions, especially Early Childhood Education institutions, need to be designed as a means for children to learn about character. To achieve maximum character development, it is necessary to make habits that support this. In this case, RA Hidayatus Shibyan Bangsalsari Jember carried out several habituation activities. One of the habituation activities carried out to form the religious character of students is through the habit of praying dhuha every morning before learning begins. This study aims to describe the cultivation of religious character through the habit of dhuha prayer at RA Hidayatus Shibyan Bangsalsari Jember. The research method used by the author is a descriptive qualitative research method, the subjects of this research are teachers, guardians, students and the principal of RA Hidayatus Shibyan. The results of the study show that through the habit of dhuha prayer activities at RA Hidayatus Shibyan, it can instill religious character in early childhood, namely students who are able to appreciate and obey their religious teachings, intended so that children have a basic understanding, beliefs, and love for the Islamic religion they follow which can cause good behaviors from children

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan penerapan metode STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif anak usia dini di RA Ar Raihan Jember. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah, guru, dan peserta didik usia 5–6 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan STEAM mampu mendorong anak untuk lebih aktif berpikir, bertanya, mengeksplorasi, serta menyampaikan ide-ide kreatif dalam konteks pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan bermakna. Pembelajaran menjadi lebih kolaboratif dan berpusat pada anak, di mana guru berperan sebagai fasilitator. Selain itu, pendekatan ini dapat diterapkan tidak hanya pada mata pelajaran umum, tetapi juga pada pembelajaran berbasis nilai seperti Qur’an dan Hadis. Namun, penerapan STEAM juga menghadapi tantangan, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya, waktu, dan kesiapan guru dalam memfasilitasi aktivitas terbuka. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan anak usia dini berbasis STEAM yang terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai keislaman, serta membuka peluang bagi penelitian lanjutan dengan cakupan yang lebih luas dan pendekatan yang beragam.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which the intensity of religious content exposure influences the religiosity level of students at Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris (UINSI) Samarinda. Employing a quantitative causal-associative approach, the research involved 165 respondents selected from 1,100 active students through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire, which was tested for validity using Pearson Product Moment and for reliability using Cronbach’s Alpha (α > 0.80). Analysis was conducted with simple linear regression in SPSS version 29. The findings indicate a significant and positive effect, with an F-test value of 96.047 and a significance level below 0.001, demonstrating that students with higher frequency, longer duration, and stronger emotional engagement with religious content show higher levels of religiosity. These results highlight the potential of social media as a medium for da’wah and Islamic education when properly managed. The study emphasizes the importance of promoting credible, engaging, and interactive religious content, alongside strengthening students’ digital literacy to ensure alignment with authentic Islamic values.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the contribution of the Al-Abror Nurul Iman Quran Education Park (TPQ) in the formation of children's morals in Kebon Ayu Village, Gerung District, West Lombok. The background of this study is the importance of early religious education in forming children's character and morality, especially through non-formal institutions such as TPQ. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that TPQ Al-Abror Nurul Iman not only plays a role in teaching reading and writing the Qur'an, but also provides guidance on moral values through the methods of habituation, role models, and advice. Supporting factors for the formation of noble morals include the involvement of ustadz/ustadzah, parental support, and structured religious activity programs. While inhibiting factors include lack of facilities and infrastructure, limited teaching staff, and the influence of the social environment and media. Thus, TPQ Al-Abror Nurul Iman makes a significant contribution in forming children with noble character amidst the challenges of the times. Keywords: Contribution, TPQ, Formation of Good Morals.
