Abstract

The mental health issues faced by Gen Z are becoming increasingly complex due to rapid technological advancements and socio-cultural changes. Social pressures from social media, unrealistic self-comparisons, academic stress, demands for success, and excessive use of social media can exacerbate Gen Z's mental health conditions. Psychological support and holistic education are necessary to address these challenges. Buya Hamka offers an Islamic educational concept that can serve as an alternative in tackling the mental health crisis. This study employs a library research method and aims to explore the relevance of Buya Hamka's perspective on Islamic education in supporting Gen Z's mental health. The findings reveal that Buya Hamka's concept of Islamic education emphasizes the importance of aqidah (faith), akhlaq (morality), and the balance between intellect and soul in strengthening Gen Z's mental health. Aqidah provides a sense of life purpose, while akhlaq helps in managing emotions and social relationships. The balance between intellect and soul supports decision-making and emotional needs. This approach demonstrates the relevance of Islamic education from Buya Hamka's perspective in strengthening Gen Z's mental health.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the moral education contained in Surah Al-Hujurat verses 9-12 based on the interpretation of Shaykh As-Sa'di, as well as explore its implications for the formation of individual and societal character. The method applied is a qualitative approach with content analysis, which allows the researcher to delve into the meaning of these verses. The results of the study revealed that basic values such as unity, mutual respect, and avoidance of negative behavior, such as ghibah and prejudice, are very important in strengthening the Islamic ukhuwah. These findings confirm that the application of forgiveness and open-mindedness in daily life can improve relationships between individuals and contribute to the creation of a more harmonious and civilized society. In conclusion, moral education in the Qur'an not only serves as a moral guide, but also as a strong foundation for building positive character and social relationships. This research is expected to be a source of inspiration for Muslims to internalize noble teachings in daily life.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the issues that arise in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in Senior High Schools (SMA). The Independent Curriculum, which is designed to encourage project-based learning and student character development, presents both opportunities and challenges for PAI teachers in managing diverse classes. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The research results show that several main issues include difficulties in developing teaching modules that are in accordance with religious values, limited time in managing a busy curriculum, and the need for further training for teachers in implementing student-centered learning methods. In addition, lack of support from parents and challenges in assessing students' attitudinal competence are additional obstacles in achieving learning goals. This study recommends continued support from the government, increasing teacher capacity, and synergy with parents to optimize the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in PAI subjects. It is hoped that the results of this research can become a reference for developing a curriculum that is more adaptive and relevant to the needs of students.

Abstract

This paper aims to provide an overview of the effectiveness of the imla method in improving students' learning of marhalah kitabah. The problem that students often face is the difficulty in writing Arabic according to the applicable rules. This research was carried out using the literature study method, examining various sources of primary literature, such as theses, books, journal articles, websites, and other supporting documents. The results of the study show that the imla method can be an effective solution in overcoming students' difficulties in writing Arabic. This method not only improves students' writing skills technically, but also enriches vocabulary, trains concentration, and provides opportunities for students to self-evaluate through correction of errors found in writing exercises. Overall, the application of the imla method has proven to be effective in improving students' maharah kitabah skills and improving their understanding of Arabic.

Abstract

The SAMR (Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, Redefinition) approach is a framework that helps educators integrate technology in the learning process. In the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI), this approach can be used to improve the quality of learning, encourage student engagement, and create learning experiences that are relevant to the times. This article aims to explain and describe the systematic stages of SAMR in Islamic Education learning through literature analysis and case studies. In the Substitution stage, technology is used as a substitute for traditional learning tools, such as replacing books with Quran e-books. The Augmentation stage introduces additional features, such as interactive applications that provide tafsir and tajweed. In the Modification stage, project-based learning is supported with online collaboration through learning platforms. The Redefinition stage allows the creation of learning experiences that were previously impossible, such as virtual simulations of Islamic history or cross-country discussions on global Islamic issues. The results showed that the implementation of SAMR can improve students' understanding of Islamic education materials, develop 21st century skills, and strengthen spiritual values.

Abstract

The jigsaw type cooperative learning model is unique in increasing student learning creativity, yes that studentsl think critically when the teacher givesn material, and students express and discuss a point of view and experience, obtained by students melalui collective point of view learning,l students are encouraged to be proactive and help each other In mastering the subject matter alGAR achieved maximum achievement. Therefore, solutions and innovations are needed in learning to increase student creativity. This study aims to determine student learning creativity after the application of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model. The method used in this study is qualitative research with observational data collection techniques, interviews and documentation. In this study, the author uses various written sources such as articles, journals, books, and documents that are relevant to the study in the research that the author conducted. The results of this study show that students' learning creativity using the jigsaw type cooperative learning model has increased. So it can be concluded that the jigsaw type cooperative learning model is very effective in increasing student learning results and discussion of the implementation of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model in increasing student learning creativity in fiqh subjects. The jigsaw-type cooperative learning model has an improvement in student learning. Learning creativity in fiqh subjects contributes positively to encouraging students to be active in the learning process. While implementing the jigsaw type cooperative learning model is very important for students to be enthusiastic in the learning process and trained to communicate or argue well.

Abstract

Humans as creatures of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala have two important dimensions, namely the material dimension (physical) and the soul dimension (spiritual). Both are interrelated and require balance in everyday life. The material dimension is related to worldly needs, such as eating, drinking, and clothing, while the soul dimension focuses more on inner peace and tranquility. One way that is believed to be able to cleanse the soul in the Islamic tradition is through dhikr, one of which is the Rotibul Attos dhikr developed by Al-Habib Umar bin Abdurrahman Al-Attas. This study aims to examine the role of Rotibul Attos dhikr as a means of cleansing the soul from a Sufism perspective, especially at the Darut Tauhid Genggong Probolinggo Islamic Boarding School. The method used is field research with a qualitative approach, through direct observation and interviews with the boarding school supervisor. The results of the study indicate that the practice of Rotibul Attos can have a positive impact on students, such as inner peace, increased faith, and the formation of better morals. In addition, this dhikr also functions as a spiritual fortress that protects oneself from negative influences. This study also identifies the right ways to practice this dhikr to obtain maximum benefits, by emphasizing sincere intentions and routine implementation at the recommended times. This study contributes to the understanding of the importance of dhikr in Sufism as a means to improve the soul and improve the quality of individual spirituality.

Abstract

Generation Z (Gen Z) faces serious challenges in maintaining moral and spiritual identity amidst the swift flow of information, social media penetration, and academic pressures in the digital era. In this situation, Islamic religious education is required not only as a fortress of values, but also as an agent of innovation that is able to adapt to changing times. This research aims to explore the application of the dialectical principle between reason and revelation in Islamic religious education as an effort to answer the social dynamics and technological challenges faced by Gen Z. The method used is descriptive with a literature approach, through analysis of Fazlur Rahman's works and other relevant literature. The results show that Fazlur Rahman's thought, especially the concept of double movement, offers a dynamic approach to bridging the tension between religious tradition and the demands of modernity. However, the implementation of this thought in the Islamic education system is still limited and requires contextual pedagogical adaptation. In conclusion, the integration of reason and revelation in Islamic religious education is important to form Gen Z characters who are resilient, critical and religious. Innovative strategies based on digital literacy, dialogical approaches, and strengthening spiritual values are needed so that religious education remains relevant and effective in the digital era.
