Abstract

Objective: This study seeks to dissect the occurrences of work-related accidents at PT Indo Muro Kencana (PT IMK) over a period spanning from 2018 to 2023. It aims to pinpoint the contributing factors to these mishaps, analyzing them to forge actionable recommendations and preventive strategies aimed at mitigating accident risks and enhancing workplace safety and health. Design/Methods/Approach: Employing a quantitative descriptive methodology, this research adopts an observational descriptive design to catalog and scrutinize work accident incidents. The Loss Causation Model serves as the analytical framework, facilitating a thorough evaluation of accident causatives. The study encompasses all PT IMK employees during the specified timeframe, utilizing a total sampling approach. Data compilation hinges on secondary sources, including company accident reports and relevant literature, with SPSS Statistics 25 software facilitating cross tabulation for data analysis. Findings: Analysis reveals a fluctuating pattern of work accidents over the years, with a significant portion resulting from direct physical interactions such as collisions and strikes. Predominantly occurring in excavation and roadway sectors, these incidents frequently involve heavy machinery and service vehicles. Notably, accidents disproportionately affect younger employees with limited tenure, though veterans are not exempt from risk. Primary accident triggers are identified as unsafe acts—including procedural breaches and poor decision-making—and unsafe conditions like slippery surfaces and subpar equipment. Underlying causes are attributed to human elements, notably inadequate judgment skills, and occupational hazards, including poor hazard awareness and deficient job safety analysis. Originality/Value: This research pioneers in its focused examination of work accident causatives within PT Indo Muro Kencana's gold mining operations, marking a novel contribution to occupational safety and health literature in the mining sector. Practical/Policy implication: The insights garnered herein are poised to inform the development of targeted safety programs, underlining the study's utility in propelling occupational safety and health consciousness, alongside facilitating accident risk reduction initiatives.

Abstract Investors, in general, evaluate a company's ability to generate profits based on current events, where the company's profit performance, earnings per share value and also inflation movements play an important role. BUMN is a state-owned company that has a large reach to society. The index that monitors the price performance of the best BUMN shares is the BUMN20 Index. Evaluations are carried out periodically on shares listed in the BUMN20 Index. The population in this study are companies listed on the BUMN20 Index listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2019-2021 with a total of 20 companies. The sampling technique used, namely the purposive sampling method, is based on obtaining a sample that is able to represent the population, 60 research samples have been obtained. The variables of this research are inflation, earnings per share and profitability and will be measured using PSPP statistical software. The research results noted that there was an insignificant influence between inflation and profitability in BUMN20 index companies. Meanwhile, earnings per share were found to have a significant influence on state-owned companies from 2019-2021. The results of the F test simultaneously note that inflation and EPS have an effect on profitability.

Abstract

Objective: This Study aims to identify the current condition of the electric vehicle charging infrastructure in Indonesia and make predictions to achieve the 2030 Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) target.Design/Methods/Approach: The method used in this research is literature review, where the author conducts a study of literature in a number of journals and articles related to the research theme which is Development of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure in Indonesia to Achieve the Target of Nationally Determined Contribution by 2030. There are several stages conducted in this research such as data collection, data analysis and drawing conclusions. These stages are carried out to determine the development of the existing conditions of Electric Vehicle Charging facilities in Indonesia to achieve the target of Nationally Determined Contribution by 2030.Findings: Considering the target number of electric vehicles in 2030, which is 600 thousand electric cars and 2.45 million electric two-wheelers, and the charging time or battery exchange time for electric vehicles, it is estimated that Indonesia needs to build 76,562.5 Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (PEVCS) for electric two-wheelers and 18,750 Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (PEVCS) for electric cars to support the 2030 National Determined Contribution target. As for the battery exchange system for electric two-wheelers, 17,014 Public Electric Vehicles Battery Exchange Stations (PEVBES) are needed to support the 2030 National Determined Contribution target.Originality/Value: This study builds upon previous research that discusses the condition of electric vehicle infrastructure in Indonesia, by adding predictions regarding the amount of infrastructure needed to meet the 2030 Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) target.Practical/Policy implication: The research findings have significant implications for management and business practices, as well as policy aspects. In developing Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station facilities, there are many things that stakeholders need to consider, such as; Expanding the coverage of Public Electric Vehicle Battery Exchange Station facilities in rural areas, Establishing battery standards for Electric Vehicles to become a specific type of battery for Electric Vehicles that use a battery exchange system, Create battery exchange facilities for 4-wheeled vehicles

Abstract

This research emphasizes the importance of teaching English in early childhood to support cognitive and social development. English as an international language is essential in global communication, so its mastery is an urgent need for modern society, including Indonesia. Mastery of English is necessary for a child to look at life in the future. This research wants to know a teacher's perception towards his students to learn English as early as possible. With a qualitative approach and data collection from documentation accompanied by questionnaires, the results show that, according to the teachers, challenges such as lack of teacher training and low motivation in students can be overcome with school support and interactive teaching methods. In addition, the early introduction of English improves children's language skills and prepares them for further education and an increasingly connected world. Therefore, schools and educators need to improve competencies through continuous training, providing adequate resources, and developing exciting and relevant teaching strategies.
