Abstract

Teachers must possess personality, social, pedagogic, and professional competencies. In addition, educators must continue developing skills that support competence. One of the skills that educators must have is pedagogic ability. Tadrib asatidz is one of the learning methods that can be used to develop skills. For the tadrib asatidz method to be successful, good management is needed. The purpose of the study was to examine the management of tadrib asatidz in developing pedagogic abilities. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. Data was obtained utilizing in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The subjects in this study were 83 educators at the Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Tulungagung educational institution. The data analysis technique used data triangulation. The data collection techniques include reduction, data presentation, and synthesis withdrawal. The results showed that the management of tadrib asatidz in developing teachers' pedagogic abilities was carried out through the stages of planning (planner), implementation (implementation) and evaluation (evaluation). Through tadrib asatidz, teachers can develop all aspects of child development following learning and educational theories, develop curriculum, utilize digital technology, provide facilities for students, communicate well, conduct assessments and reflect

Abstract

This study has purposes to investigate the strategy of online students’ orientation (MPLS) implementation and the implementation of students’ orientation activities at SDIT Ar Risalah and SDIT Taqiyya Rosyida in district Kartasura, Sukoharjo. This study method employed descriptive qualitative research. Data collection tools used observation, interview and document studies. The results of this study reveal that there are three strategies for implementing online students’ orientation activities, and basically, the themes of the four-day students’ orientation activities at SDIT Ar Risalah and SDIT Taqiyya Rosyida are almost the same, namely introduction of teachers and staff, the school environment, character education, and the curriculum. The platform often used by SDIT Ar Risalah and SDIT Taqiyya Rosyida in implementing virtual students’ orientation activity is WhatsApp groups. It is used as a mean of coordination and initial communication between teachers, parents and students. Other online platforms, such as Google Meet, Youtube, and Twibbon are also used as the tool for supporting virtual students’ orientation activities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of infrastructure at the Integrated Islamic Junior High School of Baitul Izzah Bengkulu in conducting face-to-face learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study is qualitative descriptive research. Data collection was done by interview, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed through three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this study explore the importance of needs analysis, source analysis, and priority analysis in formulating policies for planning infrastructure in schools so that the procurement of infrastructure is right on target. In addition, the school management system also supports the key role of principals in managing face-to-face learning infrastructure and ensuring that the maintenance process can be accounted for. This study also provides several implications for the management of facilities and infrastructure during the pandemic and is expected to provide enlightenment for other relevant stakeholders in dealing with face-to-face learning during the upcoming pandemic.

Abstract

The problem that often occurs when online learning is that the teaching and learning process is not conducive, due to environmental factors that make students not focus, as well as in online meetings between educators, education staff or school principals. This research was conducted to determine the relationship between the use of the zoom application and the quality of education in Madrasah Tsanawiyah throughout the city of Bandung. This research is descriptive, using a quantitative approach to the type of correlation. The data collection technique was using a questionnaire questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the use of the zoom application has a significant relationship with the quality of education in Madrasah Tsanawiyah throughout the city of Bandung, with a significance value of 0.000. The correlation coefficient obtained is 0.540 and is at a moderate level of strength. The contribution of the variable is 29.1%

Abstract

A leader in educational institutions is often the attention of experts, in this case, especially with regard to the leadership of the head of the madrasa as the main person in charge of the existence of an educational institution, the problem in this study is how the leadership of the head of the madrasa in improving the good image of the institution in the eyes of the community. This study aims to determine the relationship between Madrasah Principal Leadership and Institutional Image at State Madrasahs in Sumedang Regency. This research method uses a quantitative approach with the type of correlational method. Based on the results of the study, it showed that the leadership of the Head of State Madrasahs in Sumedang Regency included very high qualifications, namely 4.26 in the interval range of 4.20 – 5.00. The image of the institution is included in the very high qualification of 4.29 which is found in the interval range of 4.20 - 5.00. The results obtained from the correlation of the significance of the relationship between the leadership of the madrasah principal and the image of the institution obtained 0.000. Therefore, the value of 0.000 <0.005 and the value of the correlation coefficient of 0.528 is in the interval value of 0.51 - 0.75, which means that the leadership of the madrasa head has a very strong relationship with the image of the institution. Then the coefficient of determination R Square 0.278 means that the contribution of the leadership variable of the madrasa principal to the image of the institution is 27.8%

Abstract

This research focuses on the Kapita Selecta Education Management course which is conducted online. The aim of this research is to find out student responses before and after attending online lectures, especially related to the effectiveness and efficiency of online courses and student responsibilities in doing assignments online. The implementation of this online activity was only carried out for 4x meetings and 12x meetings were conducted face-to-face. This research uses quantitative methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through a google form questionnaire and continued with quantitative descriptive data analysis. The result is that online learning is quite effective and efficient to replace face-to-face lectures. Online learning increases enthusiasm and responsibility in doing assignments on time in the Kapita Selecta Education Management course. Online learning can be used as an alternative to overcome the problem of effective and efficient meetings between lecturers and students.

Abstract

The background of this research is the principal's leadership style in implementing his leadership in making decisions. The purpose of this study was to find out how the principal's leadership style in making decisions and how the process of taking and the basics in making decisions and the obstacles that occur when making decisions in high school institutions throughout the city of Samarinda. The type of this research is phenomology qualitative research, with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and decomentation. Data analysis techniques in the form of data condensation and data validity test. The objects of this research are principals, vice principals and educators as well as education staff throughout the city of Samarinda. The results showed: (1) that the principal's leadership style in making decisions is a charismatic leadership style used by the principal of SMA Negeri 5 Samarinda while SMA Islam Bunga Bangsa has a democratic leadership style, (2) the process of making decisions by involving teachers and some teachers, with the basic process of making decisions by the principal of SMA Negeri 5 Samarinda and SMA Islam Bunga Bangsa by involving intuition and the opinions of other parties, models in making decisions using data and facts in making decisions. (3) the inhibiting factor in making decisions is the difference in character and the rules that sometimes do not match between the SMA Negeri 5 Samarinda school and the education office of the province of East Kalimantan, while the inhibiting factor at SMA Islam Bunga Bangsa is due to the density of activities at school, intra-curricular activities schools, foundation activities and activities with external institutions at the same time, besides that the inhibiting factor is the individual character of teachers and school staff in completing the tasks given by the principal of SMA Islam Bunga Bangsa.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the organizational culture in building the independence of the Modern Islamic Boarding School Al-Kautsar Muhammadiyah Sarilamak Regency of Fifty Cities. This research uses a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques used are unstructured interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Then the technique of collecting informants with snowball sampling technique. Furthermore, the data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman model, the stages of this model are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and data verification. Meanwhile, to test the validity of the data, the researchers used data triangulation techniques. The results of the study show that the organizational culture applied in building the independence of Islamic boarding schools, namely 1) Instilling Islamic values that can increase the independence of students; 2) Applying language days to students; 3) Instilling the values of discipline; 4) Improve work ethic; 5) Forming the entrepreneurial spirit of students; 6) Establish nine business units to build pesantren independence; 7) Establishment of Sharia Microfinance Institutions for community empowerment and pesantren independence

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe current study examines the state of the learning environment and infrastructure, along with their effect on teaching and learning activities and the extent to which they are maintained. This study uses a descriptive survey design paradigm. Respondents consisted of madrasah in the Darul NW Kamal Kembang Kerang Islamic boarding school with 5 madrasa principals and 127 teachers who were randomly selected using a multi-stage sampling technique from a group of 5 madrasah in the Darul Kamal Islamic boarding school Kembang Kerang environment. Data was collected using the Learning Environment Management Questionnaire (LEMQ), Teacher Instructional Task Performance Assessment Scale (SPKTIG), and Principal Interview Guidelines (IGP). The study revealed that teachers' perceptions of the quality of learning facilities and environments ranged from 41 to 60.5%, while schools with inadequate quality ranged from 19 to 59%. This implies that quality assurance practices are at the average level in secondary schools. The results also showed that there was a significant relationship between teachers' instructional tasks and students' academic performance (r = 0.645 at p<0.05). The study concludes that schools and other stakeholders in education must effectively collaborate and contribute significantly to the development of infrastructure and learning environments, so as to create a work environment that is more conducive to the practice of ensuring sustainable high-quality education in secondary schools.Key words: Infrastructure, Learning Environment, Quality of Education

Abstract

The effectiveness of a school organization is influenced by how appropriate its actions are to the environment because the environment is always changing. Therefore, in organizations, especially managers, they are required to always monitor environmental changes and respond appropriately through various adjustments, both regarding structure, technology, processes, and the behavior of each member towards better development. This study aims to analyze what factors are the sources and strengths for the development of school organizations using the 7S McKinsey Framework method. This research is a qualitative research using the 7S McKinsey Framework method approach, data collection is done by means of interviews and observations. The results found that the Tahfidz Qur'an Islamic Junior High School was able to survive by making breakthroughs of the innovation through creative ideas that were visionary, then supported by the full role of managers, knowledge and management skills of foundation coaches and school principals. So that it can develop across the comfort zone.
