Abstract

This study aims to understand and analyze the school's strategy in increasing institutional profitability through strengthening Quality Service at SMA Nurul Jadid Paiton, Probolinggo. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. The results show that SMA Nurul Jadid seeks to increase school profitability by continuously strengthening Quality Service through five things: Crost-Interest Curriculum, namely cross-interest subjects that exist in each specialization; Performance, namely prioritizing the appearance of all components of the institution; Improving the quality of human resources, namely forming good and religious characters for all students and teachers; Excellent Service, namely excellent service for all school components; Infrastructure, namely as the effectiveness of student learning. This study implies the importance of institutions strengthening Quality Service to impact the profitability of institutions.

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan bagaiamana pondok pesantren dalam mempertahankan diri dari pandemi Covid-19 yang sedang melanda di nusantara dengan mengaitkan dengan kajian manajemen pendidikan agar dapat memberi kontribusi yang baik bagi pendidikan pesantren dan dapat menghindarkan santri dari munculnya klaster baru Covid-19. Metode pembahasan menggunakan studi literatur dengan penguraian, perangkuman, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan berusaha untuk memunculkan gagasan-gagasan baru yang relevan dan mutakhir untuk dilaksanakan di dalam sistem manajemen pondok pesantren. Dari studi literatur yang telah dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa pengelolaan santri dalam pondok pesantren agar terhindar dari Covid-19 merupakan hal wajib yang harus dilaksanakan oleh pondok pesantren. Pengelolaan santri secara fisik dapat dilakukan dengan membentuk gugus Covid-19, menyediakan fasilitas protokol kesehatan, program kebersihan pondok, program olahraga rutin, penyediaan makanan santri yang higienis, pengurangan jumlah santri dalam satu kamar, santri diberi waktu istirahat yang cukup agar kekebalan tubuh tetap terjaga, bertindak cepat bila ada santri yang sakit, serta para pimpinan pesantren ikut serta dalam mengawasi para santri dalam kepatuhan terhadap protokol kesehatan. Selain itu di lingkup kurikulum pesantren, perlu adanya perubahan yang sesuai dengan karakteristik pembelajaran di masa pandemi dan tetap efektif dalam transfer ilmu pengetahuan dan agama kepada santri. Dalam pembelajaran pengelola pesantren hendaknya mengurangi jadwal kegiatan, menyediakan kelas daring dengan sistem blended learning membuka pesantren virtual dalam rangka mewadahi para santri dewasa yang masih ingin mengaji kepada para kiai.

Abstract

Karakter religius adalah karakter yang perlu dikuatkan salah satunya dengan cara penanaman karakter religius di madrasah. Terdapat fenomena yang menarik untuk diteliti yaitu kepala Madrasah Aliyah Ar-Raudloh telah melaksanakan beberapa program penanaman karakter religius yang terbilang madrasah ini cukup muda yakni berdiri pada tahun 2014. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui, 1) latar alamiah MA Ar-Raudloh; 2) mengetahui gaya kepemimpinan kepala MA Ar-Raudloh dalam menanamkan karakter religius peserta didik; 3) mengetahui program penanaman karakter religius; 4) mengetahui hasil dari program penanaman karakter religius. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan menyalin dokumen. Sedangkan dalam menganalisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis dengan penafsiran data. Uji absah data dilakukan dengan ketekunan pengamatan, triangulasi, pemeriksaan teman sejawat, analisis kasus negatif, kecukupan referensi, pengecekan anggota serta uraian rinci. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Kepemimpinan Kepala Madrasah dalam Menanamkan Karakter Religius di Madrasah Aliyah Ar-Raudloh adalah pertama, sejalan dengan visi madrasah yaitu adanya program madrasah dalam meningkatkan karakter religius dan program keahlian seperti multimedia, tata busana dan usahawan. Kedua, rasa keterpanggilan dan keanggotaan dapat tercerminkan dari seluruh lapisan madrasah yang mengikuti pula program penanaman karakter layaknya peserta didik. Ketiga, komitmen organisasi yaitu dapat menerima sanksi atas pelanggaran yang dilakukan baik itu oleh peserta didik maupun seluruh staf madrasah.  Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan sebagian kecil contoh pengaruh dari program-program madrasah terhadap gaya kepemimpinan kepala madrasah. Khususnya mengenai kepemimpinan dengan tipe spiritual yang membawa dimensi keduniawian kepada dimensi spiritual kata (keilahian).

Abstract

Supervisor berperan penting dalam mengawal mutu pendidikan dengan tugas untuk memastikan bahwa proses pembelajaran berjalan sesuai standar nasional pendidikan. Disamping itu membantu, membimbing dan mengarahkan guru dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Supervisi akademik oleh kepala sekolah berorientasi pada bimbingan terhadap guru melalui diskusi dan pengarahan bersama guru sehingga dalam pelaksanaan supervisi pengajaran mengikuti tahapan yaitu perencanaan awal, pelaksanaan observasi dan tahap akhir. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengungkapkan kegiatan supervisi dan penguasaan kompetensi SMK oleh peserta didik serta adaptasi strategis pada proses supervisi sehingga berpengaruh pada optimalisasi mutu pembelajaran dalam menghadapi tantangan perubahan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, yang menjadi objek peneltian adalah kegiatan supervisi di SMKIT Khoiru Ummah dimasa Pandemi Covid-19. Dari hasil penelitaan ini ditemukan bahwa pentingnya kegiatan supervisi dan strategi adaptasi terutama dimasa pandemi Covid-19, pentingnya pembinaan oleh kepala sekolah sebagai kegiatan supervisi guna saling mendukung peningkatan kinerja dan keterampilan guru guna mengoptimalkan mutu pembelajaran. Kegiatan supervisi secara berkala dan adanya strategi adaptasi supervisi baik dari media pembelajaran maupun evaluasi hasil pembelajaran upaya mengoptimalkan mutu pembelajaran.

Abstract

Website is an internet media facility that serves to display, introduce and even function as a medium for finding information that is needed. School institutions, especially those that still really need interaction and socialization so that the school can be better known to the wider community and the students themselves. This study aims to design a school website for SMP Negeri 3 Tongkuno so that it can be used as a medium of information to students, teachers or the general public. The method used in this research is the waterfall development method. The development stage in this research begins with analyzing needs, designing, creating a school website, then applying and testing its effectiveness. Based on the results of the black box testing that has been carried out, it shows that the functional website of SMP Negeri 3 Tongkuno as a medium of information, is free from syntax errors and functions as it should. The results of these tests indicate that each menu contained on the school's website functions properly or in other words according to what is expected. Therefore, it can be concluded that the school website information system using google sites at SMP Negeri 3 Tongkuno is feasible to use.

Abstract

Based on the results of the 2012 madrasah principal competency test, it shows that the competence of madrasah principals in Indonesia is 70% out of 250 thousand with test scores below 75. This indicates that madrasah principals in Indonesia are incompetent or weak in the areas of managerial and supervisory competence. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the relationship between the managerial competence of the madrasah principal and the performance of the education staff in Madrasah Negeri in Bandung Regency. This study used a quantitative approach, and distributed questionnaires to 59 education staff respondents in Madrasah Negeri in Bandung Regency with a sample consisting of the entire population. The researcher then used a Likert scale model as primary data which was distributed by coming directly to the madrasa and some others by going through the google form. The data analysis technique used is validity test, reliability test, partial analysis, normality test, linearity test, correlation test, regression test and coefficient of determination test. Based on the results of the analysis showed that there was a relationship between the managerial competence of the madrasah principal and the performance of the education staff in State Madrasahs in Bandung Regency. The results showed that the correlation coefficient value was 0.466, this value was included in the correlation category 0.40 – 0.59 (medium), while the significance value was 0.000 <0.05. Thus it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between managerial competence and the performance of education staff in State Madrasahs throughout Bandung Regency.

Abstract

This study explores how management team of SMAN 9 Malang improves the quality of graduates, especially how quality of graduates have created from some innovations of educational evaluation. Adopting the qualitative research design, the study presented in this paper ascertained the implementation of Management of Authentic Assessment in SMAN 9 Malang, integrated coordination system in authentic assessment management of education, and implications of authentic assessment management on the quality of graduates in SMAN 9 Malang. By using the innovative design of authentic assessment management program. it can make all of teachers easily to teach and evaluate their student with E-Front application, also there is an integrated coordination system in authentic assessment management of education namely ManJadda Wajada, and SMAN 9 Malang develops an online learning namely E-Fornt that connect with E-Raport as student marks data, and unforgettable these all happened because of collaboration system between ministry of education and management team of SMAN 9 Malang.

Abstract

The covid-19 virus poses new challenges for the whole world. All activities become disrupted including disrupting teaching and learning activities at school. During a pandemic like this, the world of education must change and modify learning that can be applied to this situation so that learning productivity can be achieved. Blended learning is a learning method that can be applied in the current situation. Blended learning is a learning method that combines face-to-face learning or classical learning with modern technology-based learning that is done online. Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Ketanggungan is one of the schools that applies this method. As long as this method is applied, it is considered effective for use during this pandemic, although it cannot be denied that there are also negative sides. By analyzing the application of blended learning, it is intended to be material for consideration of the school's leadership in choosing the right method for the application of the learning system during this pandemic, as well as being an evaluation material for Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Ketanggungan. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, and the data collection method uses interviews and online observations.

Abstract

This research is based on the existence of e-learning management that offers less solutions to the problems of the education world, causing learning to decline in the effectiveness of the pandemic.The problem is reflected in the madrasah aliyah city of bogor, which performs study based e-learning with an application e-learning madrasah and experiences a decline in learning effectiveness, such as the lack of interaction impact, the educators who do not empower the opticible e-learning system and other infrastructure management barriers. The purpose of this research is specifically to discuss the reality of the relation between learning management and learning effectiveness in state Madrasah Aliyah throughout the city of Bogor with quantitative research type descriptive method and using random samples with the slovin formula a significance level of 10% so that the number of research samples is 100 madrasah students. The results showed that there was a relationship between e-learning based management and learning effectiveness in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri of Bogor City with a significance level of 0.604** included in the correlation coefficient value of 0.60-0.799, meaning that the relationship between the two variables was included in the strong significant category. so that if e-learning-based management is improved, the effectiveness of learning will also increase.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not there is a positive and significant relationship between school marketing management and number of new student at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Ar-Rosidiah Cikuda Bandung. This paper using correlation reseach method, this method interpreted as measuring to whether or not relationship between school marketing management as X variable  and number of new student as Y variable. As for the results of the study, it can be concluded that Ar-Rosidiyah's Student Perceptions about school marketing obtained an average value of 3.14. The number was included in the moderate qualification because it was in the 2.5-3.5 interval, the number of new students scored 3.07 with moderate qualification because it was in the interval 2.5-3.5. The results of the calculation of hypothesis testing show t count is 2.07 t table 1.71. Then the level of influence of the variables x and y is 40.5% and has a sufficient correlation. And this shows that there are other factors of 59.5% that influence the student's decision to enter Madrasah Tsanawiyah At-Rosidiyah.
