Abstract

Literasi merupakan langkah awal untuk mengembangkan seluruh aspek pembangunan agar literasi dapat diintegrasikan dengan kegiatan pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menerapkan Model ASYIK dalam meningkatkan Literasi Ilmiah dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan sekitar pada Anak Usia Dini di PAUD Terpadu Negeri Nanggala Kecamatan Cikeusik Pandeglang Banten. Dengan menerapkan pendekatan ini diharapkan hasil pembelajaran IPA pada Anak Usia Dini akan meningkat dan lebih bermakna. Subyek penelitian ini adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun di PAUD Terpadu Negeri Nanggala Kecamatan Cikeusik Pandeglang yang berjumlah 18 anak. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2022 – Maret 2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah PTK (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas). Metode ini terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu 1) tahap perencanaan, 2) tahap pelaksanaan, 3) tahap observasi dan 4) tahap refleksi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar literasi sains dengan persentase perolehan aktivitas prasiklus sebesar 38%, pada siklus I sebesar 59,6% dan siklus II sebesar 76%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah peningkatan penguasaan literasi sains pada anak usia dini dengan penerapan Model ASYIK di PAUD Terpadu Negeri Nanggala.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate how well ASYIK Rewards work to increase young children's learning independence. There is still a deficiency of independence in the educational setting of Ar-Raudhatul Ulum Kindergarten, particularly in autonomous study. Teachers must find workable solutions to get around this. At Ar-Raudhatul Kindergarten, one useful strategy might boost students' learning freedom. The second goal of In early childhood learning activities where there are problems with establishing self-confidence, the goal of this study is to increase independence. Those who had previously been bashful and hesitant to communicate with others or answer questions in front of friends and professors now feel comfortable and capable of providing solid, concise answers to any queries they pose online. Twenty students from group A of the Ar-Raudhatul Ulum Kindergarten served as the research subjects. With each signal, the Safe, Happy, Confident, Innovative, and Creative characteristics are the criteria that determine the evaluation score for early childhood learning independence with the ASYIK Reward. For the five observation scores, very good is represented by (√), good by (+), and minus by (-). There is an increase in scores following use, according to the findings of cycles I and II of the pre-cycle research. According to the research findings, the class completion scores from pre-cycle to cycles I and II seem to have increased. Prior to using the "Fun Reward" strategy, the kids' learning motivation score was 50%; in cycle I, it increased to 55%. Subsequently, after modifications were made in response to the outcomes of reflection on the execution of cycle I, improved outcomes were achieved. As a result, when a youngster gains enjoyable incentives to help them develop independence, and their actions typically lead to beneficial actions. The child's class completion percentage increased to 80% in Cycle II. Therefore, it may be claimed that the ASYIK Reward model encourages children's independence.

Abstract

The issue faced by students studying in international schools is their proficiency in the Indonesian language and their knowledge about Indonesia. This is due to the students predominantly using English as the medium of instruction both inside and outside the classroom. In light of this, the purpose of this research is to provide an overview of the Indonesian language proficiency and national insight of 5th grade students in an International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum-based international school. The method used for this research is qualitative descriptive. This study provides an overview of the mastery of the Indonesian language through the teaching of the Indonesian language and national insight through the teaching of Pancasila and Civics Education (PPKn). The results of this research indicate that the Indonesian language proficiency and national insight of 5th-grade students in IB international schools still need improvement. However, the average results of the students' national insight increased from 60 to 76 after the learning process. Language proficiency and national insight are crucial in shaping the identity of students, especially for Indonesian learners. This is also important for foreign students as it relates to their current existence and helps them adapt. To address this issue, the school has implemented several policies to improve the Indonesian language proficiency and national insight of their students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya hubungan antara guru dan siswa di SDN 011 Sangatta Utara dalam konteks pendidikan dasar yang berdampak signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar, partisipasi aktif, dan prestasi akademik siswa. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana hubungan guru dan siswa mempengaruhi motivasi belajar, partisipasi aktif dan prestasi akademik siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami dinamika hubungan guru-siswa dan dampaknya terhadap pengalaman belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah pendekatan deskriptif jenis penelitian kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara sistematis dan semi terstruktur, dan Teknik ini digunakan untuk menganalisis data kualitatif, seperti wawancara, observasi, atau analisis dokumen. Ini mencakup metode seperti analisis konten, analisis naratif, dan analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola, tema, dan makna dalam data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan positif guru-siswa di sekolah berdampak signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar, partisipasi siswa, dan prestasi akademik, serta menciptakan suasana positif dalam lingkungan belajar. Temuan tersebut juga menegaskan bahwa keterkaitan hubungan guru-siswa di tidak hanya menciptakan suasana positif dalam lingkungan pembelajaran, tetapi juga membentuk landasan yang kokoh bagi motivasi belajar yang berkelanjutan, partisipasi aktif, dan prestasi akademik yang memuaskan. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang hubungan guru-siswa dan dampaknya terhadap pengalaman belajar siswa, sekaligus menggabungkan dan mensintesis penelitian yang sudah ada.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kompetensi pedegogik guru dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dengan keinovatifan guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri se-Kecamatan Cibinong Kabupeten Bogor. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional dan regresi sederhana. Terdiri dari dua variable bebas yaitu kompetensi pedagogik guru dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah serta satu pvariabel terikat yaitu Keinovativan guru. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Cibinong Kabupaten Bogor dengan jumlah Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah guru PNS Di SD N se-Kecamatan Cibinong Kabupaten Bogor yang berjumlah 177 orang. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) terdapat hubungan yang siginifikan antara kompetensi pedagogik guru dengan keinovatifan guru yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai koefisien korelasi rx1 = 0,656. 2) terdapat hubungan yang positif yang signifikan antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dengan keinovatifan guru yang ditunjukkan dengan koefisien korelasi rx2 = 0,527 3) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Kompetensi pedagogik guru dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah secara Bersama-sama dengan keinovatifan guru yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai koefisien korelasi rx12 = 0,677. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keinovatifan guru dapat ditingkatkan melalui kompetensi pedagogik guru dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah

Abstract

Education is crucial in shaping a nation's future, especially in the era of globalization and information technology. Higher education, however, faces complexities such as unequal access and a lack of transparency, necessitating effective solutions. This research focuses on the pressing need for implementing a Learning Management System (LMS) to improve the efficiency and quality of learning. The research aims to identify factors influencing the effectiveness of LMS usage in higher education. It analyzes student participation, engagement levels in learning materials, and their impact on learning outcomes. The study contributes to understanding the dynamics of LMS usage, laying the groundwork for enhancements in the higher education environment. Qualitatively descriptive, the research centers on students at Darwan Ali University to provide a holistic overview of LMS adoption in higher education. Through purposive sampling, the main population includes students from Darwan Ali University, ensuring comprehensive representation. Data collection employs questionnaires and interviews. Questionnaires explore students' perceptions and experiences with LMS, while interviews provide in-depth insights. Confidentiality and data integrity are maintained during the distribution of questionnaires and interviews with students. Data analysis takes a qualitative, descriptive approach, identifying patterns, findings, and relationships among variables from questionnaires and interviews. Despite a preference for conventional methods, students at Darwan Ali University have integrated LMS into their learning, overcoming difficulties for an overall improvement in learning outcomes. The research highlights student acceptance of LMS, challenges faced, and positive impacts on learning outcomes. Privacy and data security concerns emphasize the need for attention to enhance user trust in online learning technology. Anticipated to contribute significantly, this research provides insights into LMS dynamics in higher education. It forms the basis for future improvements, aiming to create a more effective and secure online learning experience.

Abstract

Grammar is is an integral part of language competencies that must be mastered by foreign language learner, as one of the requirements for mastering all of language competencies. Therefore various strategies are being attempted in order to help students gain the learning outcomes of the course. In learning activities, it was found that students who were identified as a group with lower initial abilities were able to achieve high learning outcomes at the end of the semester. The students' learning styles are assumed to have a contribution to the students learning outcomes, because students have learn with the same learning resources, and the methods used by teachers are not different. This became the starting point to explore the relationship between learning styles and student learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative research to describe the correlation between learning styles and student learning outcomes in the basic level of Nihongo subject. This study will also describe the quality of the relationship between the two variables. The population in this study is all undergraduate students of State University of Surabaya (UNESA) Japanese Language Education Program class of 2022, totaling 104 students. The sampling method used in this study is a non-sampling method because all members in one population will be the subject of this study. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1) The learning styles of UNESA Japanese Language Education Program students class of 2022 were analyzed based on VARK model learning style preferences, showing that students have a single learning style and a combined learning style. However, The most dominant learning style preference used by students is Kinesthetic learning style with more than half of the total number of respondents. In addition, gender-based learning style preferences show that female student groups have a greater number of combined learning styles than male student groups; 2) The correlation between students' learning styles, and Japanese learning outcomes after being analyzed through a non-parametric model showed that the coefficient value of both variables of this study is 0.663, which is classified as "very weak". The result shows that learning styles do not contribute significantly to student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The success of implementing the curriculum in schools is very dependent on the teacher's perception in accepting and understanding the content of implementing the independent curriculum within the scope of the educational unit. So it is important to know the teacher's perception index in implementing the independent curriculum in elementary schools. This research aims to analyze the teacher's perception index regarding the implementation of the independent curriculum in elementary schools in Bima. This research method was carried out using a survey approach. The main sample of this research was 32 elementary school class teachers who implemented an independent curriculum. The data analysis technique was carried out descriptively. The results of the research reveal that elementary school teachers in Bima City can generally understand the theoretical realm and technical framework in implementing the Independent Curriculum. This is evidenced by the positive perception of teachers regarding the implementation of the independent curriculum in elementary schools, including; 62.5% of teachers think that the concept of an independent curriculum for elementary school students is in accordance with the theoretical basis of education. The remaining 37.5% felt that the independent curriculum concept was very suitable for elementary school students in Bima. It was identified that 69% of teachers were strongly influenced by internal factors and 31% were influenced by external factors in implementing the independent primary school curriculum. In another aspect, as many as 43.8% thought that discussion activities were initiated by teachers and the school, which also influenced the optimization of the implementation of the independent curriculum in elementary schools in Bima.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze or describe problems based on a literature review regarding the implementation of Pancasila education in preventing the development of acts of radicalism, in Entikong, West Kalimantan. The first step in this research is to study data from previous research, then collect primary data from books, journals and websites for data processing. After that, carry out data analysis with analysis stages; data reduction, data presentation (display), and verification or conclusions. Testing the validity of data in qualitative research includes testing internal validity (credibility), external validity (transferability), reliability (dependability), and objectivity (confirmability). The results of the research show that Pancasila is a very important part to study as a form of preventing the entry of radicalism in the world of Indonesian education. A Pancasila Education Implementation Strategy is needed in preventing the development of acts of radicalism in maintaining the integrity of the Indonesian nation with unity and oneness in uniting various kinds of differences, especially in the outermost regions of Indonesia that directly border other countries.

Abstract

Speech ability is a crucial part in a child’s language development, which has significant impact on their future intellectual and social development. At TK Nusantara Bekasi, within the past two years there were 10%-12% students with speech delay, and two of them were 5-6 years old and have never had any speech therapy by experts. This research aims to describe the Implementation of Model Si-UUL (Simak Ucap Ulang) as an innovative strategy to deal with speech development issues in children aged 5-6 years old with speech delay at TK Nusantara, Bekasi, held in September-December 2023. Method of research used is qualitative descriptive with data collecting through interviews, documentation, and notes. Research result shows that research subjects have functional speech delay, i.e. expressive speech disorder caused by the lack of stimulus or wrong parenting. Implementation of Model Si-UUL affects the speech ability of children with speech delay, from the indicator of verbal expressive language achievement it is observed that children are capable of conveying their feelings and ideas using suitable words when communicating and able to participate in a dialogue.
