Abstract

Innovative learning media is very important to convey information about ecosystems that are often considered less interesting by elementary school students. One tool that has been developed is the JELIA (Jelajah Alam Ceria) board, a contextualized game-based media designed to assist students in understanding the concepts of food chains and ecosystems in a funway. This study aims to evaluate the role of the JELIA board in increasing student activity in organizing food chains. The method used was a literature review to analyze the effectiveness of the JELIA board in teaching ecosystem materials. In addition, validation from experts showed a feasibility score of more than 85%, and positive responses from students and teachers confirmed that this media is practical, interesting, and relevant to their daily lives. The application of the JELIA board also contributed to a significant increase in learning outcomes, from an average of 50% to 85%. Therefore, the JELIA board has the potential to be an effective alternative in learning that supports a contextual approach to ecosystem material in IPAS lessons in elementary schools. This study recommends that teachers continue to develop context-based learning media to make learning more meaningful and relevant for students.  Media pembelajaran yang inovatif sangat penting untuk menyampaikan informasi tentang ekosistem yang sering kali dianggap kurang menarik oleh murid-murid sekolah dasar. Salah satu alat yang telah dikembangkan adalah papan JELIA (Jelajah Alam Ceria), sebuah media berbasis permainan yang kontekstual yang dirancang untuk membantu siswa dalam memahami konsep rantai makanan dan ekosistem dengan cara yang menyenangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi peran papan JELIA dalam meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dalam menyusun rantai makanan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur atau tinjauan pustaka untuk menganalisis efektivitas papan JELIA dalam pengajaran materi ekosistem. Selain itu, validasi dari para ahli menunjukkan skor kelayakan lebih dari 85%, dan respon positif dari siswa dan guru menegaskan bahwa media ini praktis, menarik, dan relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari mereka. Penerapan papan JELIA juga berkontribusi pada peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan, dari rata-rata 50% menjadi 85%. Oleh karena itu, papan JELIA memiliki potensi untuk menjadi alternatif efektif dalam pembelajaran yang mendukung pendekatan kontekstual terhadap materi ekosistem dalam pelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar. Kajian ini merekomendasikan agar guru terus mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis konteks untuk membuat pembelajaran semakin bermakna dan relevan bagi siswa.

Abstract

Perilaku agresif dengan maksud melukai orang lain dikategorikan sebagai tindak kriminal yang dapat dikenai hukuman, dapat disebabkan oleh pengalaman buruk masa kecil yang dapat terjadi pada 18 tahun pertama kehidupannya dan berdampak hingga masa dewasa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kontribusi pengalaman buruk masa kecil terhadap perilaku agresif pada warga binaan pemasyarakatan di Rutan Kelas IIB Padang Panjang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan kausalitas. Warga binaan pemasyarakatan di Rutan Kelas IIB Padang Panjang dengan kasus tindak pidana kekerasan merupakan subjek dalam penelitian ini, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh dengan total subjek 34 responden. Menggunakan instrumen skala WHO ACE-IQ dan skala perilaku agresif analisis data dengan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan hasil berkontribusi positif, nilai R-Square 0,259 dengan Ha diterima, disimpulkan terdapat kontribusi ACE terhadap perilaku agresif pada warga binaan pemasyarakatan di Rutan Kelas IIB Padang Panjang sebesar 25,9%.

Abstract

This paper aims to discuss an analysis of collaboration profile through strengthening the Pancasila student profile project which is currently being implemented in primary schools. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection is conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. In primary schools, the Pancasila Student Profile project is holistically connected to character development through a collaborative approach. Collaborative learning strategies in primary schools further strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile project, emphasizing positive relationships, collective responsibility, and the application of Pancasila values in daily learning practices. The interview findings underscore the significance of collaboration in fostering leadership skills aligned with Pancasila values among primary school students. Assigning leadership responsibilities and evaluating their impact on team dynamics contribute to character development, with observations focusing on changes in social interactions, classroom atmosphere, student motivation, and educational outcomes. In conclusion, the study reveals the integral role of collaboration in achieving the goals of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project.

Abstract

Students' mathematical problem-solving abilities are significantly influenced by affective aspects, particularly self-confidence and curiosity. Therefore, strengthening these aspects becomes crucial in the learning process to build a solid foundation for dealing with complex cognitive challenges. This study aims to examine differences in students' mathematical problem-solving abilities based on varying levels of self-confidence and curiosity. The research was conducted at a primary school in Tangerang Regency using a comparative quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 30 students categorized into high and low groups based on questionnaire results. Research instruments included a Likert-scale questionnaire to measure self-confidence and curiosity, as well as an essay test to assess problem-solving ability. Data analysis using a t-test revealed significant differences between students with high and low levels of self-confidence, as well as between those with high and low curiosity. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating affective reinforcement in mathematics instruction to enhance students' problem-solving skills.Kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika secara nyata dipengaruhi oleh aspek afektif, khususnya tingkat kepercayaan diri dan rasa ingin tahu. Oleh karena itu, penguatan aspek-aspek tersebut menjadi bagian krusial dalam proses pembelajaran, guna membangun fondasi yang kokoh dalam menghadapi tantangan kognitif yang kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika berdasarkan variasi tingkat kepercayaan diri dan rasa ingin tahu siswa. Studi dilakukan di salah satu sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Tangerang dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif komparatif. Sampel terdiri atas 30 peserta didik yang diklasifikasikan ke dalam kategori tinggi dan rendah berdasarkan hasil angket. Instrumen penelitian meliputi angket skala Likert untuk mengukur kepercayaan diri dan rasa ingin tahu, serta tes uraian untuk menilai kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara siswa dengan kepercayaan diri tinggi dan rendah, begitu pula antara siswa dengan tingkat rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi dan rendah. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa pembelajaran matematika perlu melibatkan penguatan aspek afektif guna meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa.

Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education, particularly in higher education, holds significant potential and influence in enhancing students’ 21st-century skills, especially critical thinking. This study aims to examine the impact of AI-based learning models on students' critical thinking abilities within the framework of Indonesia's Merdeka Belajar policy. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research combines pre-tests and post-tests, observations, interviews, and questionnaires involving 40 students from Universitas Borneo Tarakan. Quantitative data were analyzed descriptively by comparing pre-test and post-test results, while qualitative data were processed through data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing based on observations and interviews. The quantitative findings reveal a significant improvement in students' critical thinking skills. Qualitative results indicate active student engagement in the learning process, with students shifting from passive AI users (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) to active users who leverage AI for deeper inquiry, discussion, and conceptual synthesis. The study concludes that, when applied with appropriate pedagogical strategies, AI serves as an effective tool for facilitating constructivist learning and cognitive development in higher education.Integrasi Kecerdasan Buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) dalam pendidikan khususnya pendidikan tinggi memiliki potensi dan pengaruh besar dalam meningkatkan keterampilan abad ke-21 mahasiswa, khususnya kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis AI terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dalam kerangka kebijakan Merdeka Belajar di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan mix-method, penelitian ini menggabungkan pre-test dan post-test, observasi, wawancara, dan angket yang melibatkan 40 mahasiswa dari Universitas Borneo Tarakan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan membandingkan hasil pre-test dan post-test serta analisis kualitatif dengan mereduksi data, data display, dan konklusi data yang berasal dari observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian secara kuantitatif menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Hasil analisis secara kualitatif menunjukkan keterlibatan aktif mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran serta mahasiswa bertransformasi dari pengguna AI pasif (seperti ChatGPT, Gemini, dll) menjadi pengguna aktif yang memanfaatkan AI untuk penyelidikan mendalam, diskusi dan sintesis konsep. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa AI ketika digunakan dengan strategi pedagogis yang tepat, menjadi alat bantu yang efektif dalam membentuk mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran konstruktivis dan pengembangan kognitif.

Abstract

Elementary school students’ mathematical representation skills are still rather limited as conventional teaching approaches abound and fall short of appropriately connecting theoretical ideas to actual situations. This study seeks to understand how the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) strategy influences pupils’ capacity for mathematical representation. Employing A control group for the pretest and posttest strategyThe research method quasiexperimental. Included were two consciously selected fourth-grade classes in Tigaraksa District, Tangerang Regency. The experimental group got RME-based schooling while the control group underwent conventional instruction. The instrument of investigation was a descriptive study evaluating representational abilities in symbolic, visual, and verbal formats. Using SPSS, the data wes then analyzed using homogeneity, normality, matched sample t-test, as well as an independent sample t-test. The study showed an average of 13 points distinction between the posttest and results of the control group and those of the experimental group, indicating a major improvement in pupils’ results. This finding helps the theory that the RME technique can improve students’ ability to represent mathematical concepts a lot. Consequently, at the primary school level, the RME approach has proven to be effective in improving mathematical understanding in a more contextual and significant.Kemampuan representasi matematis siswa sekolah dasar masih tergolong rendah akibat dominasi metode pembelajaran konvensional yang kurang mengaitkan konsep abstrak dengan situasi nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pendekatan Realistik Matematika Edukasi (RME) terhadap peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Dengan menggunakan strategi control group pretest-posttest, metode penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen melibatkan dua kelas IV di Kecamatan Tigaraksa, Kabupaten Tangerang yang dipilih secara purposif. Kelompok eksperimen memperoleh pembelajaran berbasis RME, sedangkan kelompok kontrol mendapat pembelajaran konvensional. Insturmen penelitian berupa tes uraian yang mengukur kemampuan representasi dalam bentuk simbolik, visual, dan verbal, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, paired sample t-test, dan independent sample t-test dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada skor posttest siswa di kelas eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol, dengan rata-rata selisih 13 poin. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pendekatan RME secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Dengan demikian, pendekatan RME terbukti efektif mampu meningkatkan pemahaman matematika secara lebih kontekstual dan signifikan.

Abstract

Kinerja karyawan merupakan salah satu alat ukur kinerja yang dipertahankan, dan perlu diimbangi dengan manajemen penghargaan. Tujuan penelitian adalah factor yang memengaruhi kinerja dan manajmen penghargaan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi peneltian adalah para ASN dan nonASN yang bekerja di dinas Pendidikan dan kebudayaan kota Cilegon. Teknik sampling menggunakan Teknik random pada responden, dan terkumpul 185 jawaban responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pendekatan PLS dengan alat statistic SEM. Hasil penelitian antara lain: (1) Rasa bahagia dipengaruhi oleh factor kepuasan; (2) kinerja dipengaruhi oleh factor prestasi kerja; dan (3) variabel mediasi dapat memediasikan keseluruhan variabel (full mediating). Simpulan penelitian adalah untuk mencapai efektifitas kinerja perlu didukung oleh prestasi kerja pegawai, dan kepuasan kerja disebabkan rasa bahagia saat bekerja.

Abstract

This classroom action research was conducted with the aim to improve Indonesian language learning achievement of III gradestudents in semester I in the 2021/2022 academic year SD Negeri 22 Lanjau after optimizing the application of small group discussions. Data collected through learning achievement tests. The collected data analyzed by quantitative descriptive statistical analysis. The results obtained from this study were Small Group Discussion Methods (Small Group Discussion) can improve student learning achievement in Indonesian. This was evident from the results obtained where the average value of Indonesian language which initially 64.21 increased to 73.77 in the first cycle and in the second cycle it increased again to reach 80.70. The number of students who were able to fulfill the KKM in the first cycle 58% increased to 95% in the second cycle. In conclusion, the optimization of the application of small group discussion methods can improve the learning achievement of Indonesian language students at VI grade students in the second semester of the 2021/2022 academic year in SD Negeri 22 Lanjau.

Abstract

The low academic achievement of third-grade students at SDN 2 Banteran was the background for this study. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement in student academic achievement in learning traditional values in Indonesia through the jigsaw cooperative model in third-grade elementary school. This study used classroom action research with four stages, including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques in this study include observation sheets, evaluation questions, and documentation. The research subjects are third-grade students at SDN 2 Banteran. The research data were analyzed descriptively by examining student scores. The results showed an improvement in learning achievement in Cycle I, with 70% of students meeting the minimum completion criteria, increasing to 80% in Cycle II. The findings of this study on the application of the jigsaw cooperative model indicate that the application of the jigsaw cooperative model can improve student learning achievement.Prestasi belajar siswa di kelas III SDN 2 Banteran masih rendah, melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan guna mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran nilai-nilai tradisi di Indonesia melalui model kooperatif tipe jigsaw di kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini memakai Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan empat tahapan meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini memakai lembar observasi, soal evaluasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalh siswa kelas III SDN 2 Banteran. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan melihat nilai siswa. Hasil menunjukan terdapat peningkatan prestasi belajar pada siklus I prestasi belajar siswa sebesar 70% siswa mencapai kritetia ketuntasan minimal meningkat menjadi 80% pada siklus II .Temuan penelitian pada penerapan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw menunjukan penerapan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw bisa meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study developed a wall magazine as an information media to introduce careers to elementary school students. The wall magazine in this development is called MAJARI (Mading Berjajar Edukasi). This research and development were carried out in several stages, namely: preliminary study, product design, product development according to design, limited trials, and product revisions. The media validation in this study involved media experts, and materials from the field of guidance and counseling, after validation was carried out, it was continued with a limited field trial. The limited trial was carried out involving users from the school and 10 students. Primary data was collected using a questionnaire. Then analyzed to see the results of the feasibility of the media created. The results of the analysis showed that the MAJARI (Mading Berjajar Edukasi) developed was feasible to be used as an interactive media to introduce careers to elementary school students.Mading pada pengembangan ini dinamakan MAJARI (Mading  Berjajar Edukasi). Penelitian ini   mengembangkan mading sebagai media informasi untuk memperkenalkan karir kepada siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap, yaitu: studi pendahuluan, perancangan produk, pengembangan  produk sesuai perancangan,   uji coba terbatas, dan  revisi produk. Batasan pada penelitian ini terletak pada produk yang tidak didesiminsikan melainkan hanya sampai pada revisi produk setelah di uji cobakan secara terbatas. Adapun validasi media pada  penelitian ini melibatkan pakar media, dan materi dari bidang bimbingan dan konseling, setelah dilakukan validasi maka dilanjutkan ke uji coba lapangan terbatas. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan melibatkan pengguna dari pihak sekolah dan siswa berjumlah 10 siswa. Data primer dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Kemudian dianalisis untuk melihat hasil kelayakan dari media yang di buat.  Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa MAJARI (Mading Berjajar Edukasi) yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media interaktif untuk memperkenalkan karir kepada siswa sekolah dasar. Mading berputar edukasi adalah media pengembangan interaktif dan menarik yang dikembangkan agar siswa tidak monoton dalam mengenal karir. Media ini dapat digunakan untuk pengenalan karir pada ana sekolah dasar mulai dari kelas rendah hingga kelas tinggi.
