Abstract

Abstract: This study was aimed to investigate how Co-op technique can be implemented to improve reading comprehension of the eighth grade students of MTsN Ngawi who faced the problems in reading. The students did not comprehend the text and the score was low. The average score of reading test in preliminary study was 67 where as the average score of student’ success based on the minimum standard of students’ score is seventy (70). The design of this study was classroom action research. The technique applied in the research was Co-op technique. The result showed that the students reading average score significantly improved. In two cycle study, in the first test the students reading average score was 69.54, in the second test the students reading score was 76.15. It could be concluded that predetermined criteria of success had been achieved.

Abstract

This study is focused on using comic as media in teaching reading at eight grade student of Junior High School in Ngawi. The problem in this study was the students‟ motivation on reading especially on narrative text was low and their score in some test was average low. They still confused to understand the content of the story, it was proved by the score on their test was average low in reading questions, it was 65,7 and they could not retell the content of the story briefly. By using the comic in teaching learning, the students are helped to understand the contents of the story that they read. The method in this study used qualitative research in the term of case study. The subject of the study was eight grade students of junior high school. The number of participant was 60 students. The result of the study showed that the implementation of teaching reading by using comic as media give benefit to students, it showed from 48 of 60 students or 80% of the students agreed the use of comic as learning media. From the questionnaire result, the comic gives benefit in teaching reading to the students‟ reading skills improvement. It revealed that 52 of 60 students or 87% of the students positively responded after the implementation activities yet only 13% of the students showed their uncertainty of its benefits. The use of comic can also be combined by other techniques in order to develop the understanding of material and make the students enjoy, interest, and enthusiasm during teaching learning process. Moreover, the result showed that comic helped students in understanding the content of the story.

Abstract

Language acquisition is the process of language mastery done by children naturally when they learn their mother of tongue. The era of globalization with the presence of sophisticated technology requires children to be able to use technology well. With the presence of technology, it makes it easy for children to learn many things, especially languages. The purpose of using language learning media based on the educational game culture character of the android system is to increase language acquisition for early childhood. With this language learning media, early childhood is helped in understanding and mastering verbal vocabulary. In addition, in this era, many people have Smart Phones that can load various applications. In addition, it is very easy for parents to access or open an android-based media application from their Smart Phones. The research method used is research and development. This development was carried out in the learning media, namely language learning media based on the educational character of the culture system of the android system. This study uses the Borg and Gall development theory which has been simplified into six stages. This research was conducted at PAUD / TK in the Ngawi Regency, East Java. The research subjects are early childhood and parents in PAUD/TK Ngawi Regency with a total of 50 people. The results of this study are in the form of educational learning applications based on the educational game culture character of the Android system. The results of the data analysis showed that, from 50 respondents who are parents of children, 44 people stated that the media ere feasible and very useful and 45 people gave positive responses. From the results of the addition of the acquisition of children's language shows 46 children experienced progress and the addition of the acquisition of a new language. The results of this study are expected to facilitate early childhood in language acquisition

Abstract

Language skills are the abilities, skills, wealth greeting human thoughts and feelings through sound arbitrator, used to work together, interact, and identify themselves in a good conversation. In this study a problem Is the Audio Visual Learning Model-Based Android can improve Proficiency in Early Childhood Group A. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of language skills of early childhood through audio visual media in group A . The design of this research is a Class Action Research with research subjects are 12 children in PAUD Nawakartika Beran village District of Ngawi in the academic year 2016/2017. Technique of collecting Data are used such as observation, documentation and questionnaires. Classroom action research on learners' class A, it can be concluded that the audio visual media can improve language skills, it is shown that indicator of increased mastery learning students is increasing from the first cycle (50%) and cycles II (83.3%). Improved performance indicators can be shown by the child is able to interact with their peers using the newly acquired language, liveliness children in participating in learning activities increased significantly, the atmosphere of teaching and learning activities are very conducive. Teacher is advised be able to develop audio-visual media  more varied and fun for children.

Abstract

Anak usia dini mengalami banyak perkembangan dalam prosespertumbuhannya, salah satunya yang terpenting adalah kemampuan berbahasa.Kemampuan bahasa adalah kesanggupan, kecakapan, kekayaan ucapan pikirandan perasaan manusia melalui bunyi yang arbiter, digunakan untuk bekerjasama,berinteraksi, dan mengidentifikasi diri dalam percakapan yang baik. Dalampenelitian ini masalah yang dapat dirumuskan sebagai beikut: “Apakah MediaGame Edukasi Berbasis Android” dapat meningkatkan Kemampuan BerbahasaAnak Usia Dini Kelompok A di PAUD Al Huda Desa Beran Kecamatan NgawiKabupaten Ngawi Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018?”. Tujuan dari penelitian iniadalah untuk mengetahui peningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa anak usia dinimelalui media game edukasi berbasis android pada kelompok A di PAUD AlHuda Desa Beran Kecamatan Ngawi Kabupaten Ngawi Tahun Pelajaran2017/2018. Bentuk penelitian ini menggunakan desain Penelitian TindakanKelas dengan subjek penelitian 17 anak PAUD Al Huda Desa KlitikKecamatan Ngawi Kabupaten Ngawi Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Teknikpengumpulan data berupa observasi, dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Penelitiantindakan kelas pada peserta didik kelas A Al Huda Desa Beran KecamatanNgawi Kabupaten Ngawi Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018, dapat disimpulkan bahwamedia game edukasi berbasis android dapat meningkatkan kemampuanberbahasa terlihat dengan indikator peningkatan kemampuan berbahasa siswadari siklus I (53%) dan siklus II (83%). Peningkatan indikator kinerja ini dapatditunjukkan dengan anak mampu berinteraksi dengan teman sebayanya denganmenggunakan bahasa baru yang diperolehnya, komunikasi anak dengan gurudan orangtua juga semakin terarah dan dapat dimengerti. Guru disarankanmampu mengembangkan media game edukasi berbasis android yang lebihbervariasi dan menyenangkan bagi anak.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tentang: 1) Manajemen pengelolaan fasilitas olahraga GOR Bung Hatta Kabupaten Ngawi (GBH) yang terdiri dari Gedung Olahraga (GOR) lapangan basket dan lapangan tenis di Kabupaten Ngawi tahun 2018. Penelitian ini tentang Manajemen pengelolaan fasilitas olahraga milikpemerintah Kabupaten Ngawi Tahun 2018, merupakan penelitian deskriptif yangbersifat pengembangan dengan menggunakan data kualitatif, penelitian deskriptifmerupakan penelitian non hipotesis sehingga dalam langkah penelitiannya tidakperlu merumuskan hipotesis. Dengan Sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1)pelaksanaan manajemen pengelolaan fasilitas olahraga Stadion GOR Bung Hatta (GBH) yang terdiri dari Gedung Olahraga (GOR) lapangan basket danlapangan tenis di Kabupaten Ngawi Tahun 2018. Sedangkan metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu: teknik observasi, wawancara sebagai alat pengumpul data, dan dokumentasi sebagai data pelengkap. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) Manajemen perencanaan pengelolaanfasilitas olahraga yang sangat baik telah diterapkan pada GOR Bung Hatta memilikiperencanaan cukup baik sedangkan Lapangan basket dan Lapangan Teniskurang baik. 2) Manajemen pengorgasisasian pengelolaan fasilitas GOR Bung sudah sangat baik, Lapangan basket dan lapangan tenis cukup baik. 3) Manajemen pengawasan pengelolaan fasilitas yang telah dilakukan dengan baik adalah oleh pengelola di GOR Bung Hatta, lapangan futsal, Sedangkan lapangan tenis melakukan fungsi actuating yang cukup baik. 4) Manajemen penggerak pengelolaan fasilitas telah dilakukan dengan baik adalah oleh pengelola di GOR Bung Hatta. Sedangkan lapangan basket dan lapangan tenis melakukan fungsi pengawasan yang cukup baik. GOR Bung Hatta karena mulai sepi dan hanya digunakan untuk pemusatan latihan para atlit kurang baik dalam pengawasan oleh pihak pengelola.

Abstract

Pembelajaran melalui daring pada pandemi Covid-19 memiliki dampak negatif, salah satunya ialah penurunan kualitas pendidikan (learning loss). Salah satu upaya untuk menanggulangi learning loss dapat dilakukan dengan membuat kelompok belajar kecil di setiap daerah pada level RT dengan konsep Kampung Belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penerapan Small Group Learning sebagai upaya mengatasi learning loss serta mengetahui perspektif peserta didik dan orangtua terhadap penerapan metode Small Group Learning ini. Penelitian ini merupakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian adalah 100 peserta didik tingkat SMP. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data atau penyederhanaan data, penyajian data, Penarikan Kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dengan menggunakan tiga teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber yaitu dengan menggunakan sumber data yang berasal dari guru. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode Small Group Learning dengan konsep Kampung Belajar dinyatakan efektif dan mampu memberikan solusi terhadap learning loss yang dihadapi peserta didik serta mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Since Covid-19 was declared a pandemic, educational technology has become trended by playing E-learning. Teachers and students are forced to transform from traditional classes into E-classrooms. However, full e-learning did not give students a massive impact yet, and lately, they have become less motivated since it provided no real communication (Mese & Sevilen 2021). Integrating face-to-face learning (direct interaction) and technology-based learning (digital communication) becomes promising (Garrison &Vaughan, 2008; Rianto, 2020). This study explored the perspectives of 3 pre-service teachers and 27 students towards the blended learning (BL) practices in the EFL context. The setting was the English education department, Universitas Borneo Tarakan. The data were collected using online interviews to gain in-depth information. The findings uncovered that the teachers and students gave positive perspectives to apply this model to the new normal. In addition, BL could reshape the teachers' roles by applying multiple technology use in the teaching and learning process. BL  was also able to broaden students' learning experience and provide them with a technology-based world. This study highlighted some implications, including the need for pre-service teachers' professional development that ultimately will help teachers assist students in succeeding in blended learning.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan learning loss kemampuan literasi statistik mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Matematika. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan 33 mahasiswa angkatan 2019 jurusan Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Borneo Tarakan sebagai sampel. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan peneliti dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes uraian dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi learning loss kemampuan literasi statistis mahasiswa di jurusan Pendidikan Matematika khususnya pada kemampuan memahami data, dan mengkomunikasikan data. Hal ini didukung dengan hasil uji kemampuan literasi statistis mahasiswa yang secara keseluruhan masuk dalam kategori rendah. Hasil dua indikator kemampuan literasi statistis yaitu memahami dan mengkoordinasikan data juga masuk dalam kategori rendah. Learning loss yang dapat diidentifikasi dari kemampuan literasi statistis yaitu sebanyak 28,3% mahasiswa tidak menjawab soal yang diberikan dari indikator menginterpretasikan data yang diberikan, serta 32,58 % dalam mengkomunikasikan hasil olah informasi/data.
